Officers involved in shooting of Philando Castile are in the freezer pending a state and federal investigation. |
The junk food media media released the name of the officer who shot Philando Castile.
Jeronimo Yanez is right now in the freezer pending a state and federal investigation into the encounter that lead to the deadly shooting. He was filmed by Diamond "Lavish" Reynolds with his gun drawn and Philando bleeding after Yanez shot him four times in the arm.
Yanez is an officer for the village of St. Anthony. The other officer in response to Yanez's call is Joseph Kauser. He was the officer who approached the vehicle from the passenger side.
Yanez was said to be crying hysterically. He knows "he fucked up".
Speaking through his attorney, Yanez stated that he believed that Philando was reaching for his firearm. The video released by Diamond said that he was trying to get his wallet.
The Daily Mail has reported that police scanner audio seems to indicate that Yanez pulled Philando over because he "just looked like the type of people involved in a robbery".
The law was looking for a suspect who was involved in a robbery.
The dispatch audio:
"I'm going to stop a car. I'm going to check IDs. I have reason to pull it over."
"The two occupants just look like people that were involved in a robbery," the man in the audio adds.
"The driver looks more like one of our suspects, just 'cause of the wide set nose".
Is this Philando Castile? Conservatives claim that the gas station robbery suspect is the man shot by St. Anthony Police. |
A local junk food agitator reports that police traffic stated that the pull over was for suspicious activity. The usual excuse for an unlawful pull over is a taillight violation or failure to signal at 100 feet.
Yanez and Kauser didn't wear body cameras. The dash camera footage wasn't released to the public as of yet.
Another thing that got my attention, is the accusations of Philando being a "gang member" and alleged suspect in a robbery at a local gas station.
Philando was a conceal carry citizen. He had a right to have a firearm in the state of Minnesota.
Diamond in the video told the officer that he was a conceal carry citizen. Minnesota has an open carry law with a permit. He has a legal right to own a firearm.
He was a good guy says the family. He wasn't a robbery suspect. |
Jim Hoft (The Gateway Pundit), The Conservative Treehouse, Charles Johnson of GotNews are spreading this rumor of Philando being a gang member associated with The Crips. They claim that he was the suspect in a local robbery. Conservatives "jump to conclusions" just as bad as liberals.
The Daily Mail reports that Philando has minor traffic offenses. Okay, that justifies the shooting.
If they listen to the video, you hear Diamond say that her boyfriend, "isn't a criminal". He said that he works and isn't a gang member.
His family slammed the notion that Philando was a criminal. They said that he was a food preparer for a local school and has worked most of his life.
Conservatives again are quick to place the fault of the shooting on Philando.
So having traffic violations automatically makes you a criminal?
Being similar to a suspect in a robbery makes you a criminal?
World News Today send our condolences to the families of the Dallas police officers, Philando Castile, Alton Sterling, Alva Braziel and Dylan Noble.
