Floyd Mayweather And Manny Pacquiao Fight Rakes In $$$$$$$$$!

Mayweather Pacquiao Official Poster.jpg
Who got the money?

With the Kentucky Derby and boxing tonight, all the money being poured into these events could be an estimated $1 billion.

Now I haven't gotten my tickets nor have the opportunity to see the major events. But I hope that some out readers get an opportunity to see it.

The Fight of the Century is on. Floyd Mayweather wants to continue his flawless record in the fight against phenomenon Manny Pacquiao, Saturday night.

MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Despite predictions that Mayweather–Pacquiao would be the highest grossing fight in history as early as 2009, disagreements between the two boxers' camps on terms for the fight prevented the bout from coming to fruition until 2015.
This is the fight of the century.
The failure to make the Mayweather–Pacquiao fight was named The Ring magazine Event of the Year for 2010.

However, negotiations for the superfight in 2015 have since been finalized, with all of the major issues that have prevented the fight from happening in the past now resolved, including purse split, drug testing, and location of the bout. On February 20, 2015, Mayweather confirmed on social media that the fight had indeed been signed by himself as Pacquiao already had signed the contract of the fight previously and the contract itself was with Mayweather on that day.

This fight will generate an estimated $350 million in revenue.

Sheriff David Clarke: _________ That __________ Marilyn Mosby And Freddie Gray!

Controversial lawman compares apples to grapefruit.

Milwaukee County sheriff David Clarke has once again injected himself into a controversy he has no business jumping into. He makes the most dumbest assertion in the Freddie Gray controversy.

He claims that Baltimore city prosecutor Marilyn Mosby is a neophyte and an opportunist. Clarke is upset like most on the racist right that these cops are being charged with felonies. These cops allowed a suspect to sustain severe injuries that led to his death.

Clarke digs into his ass and pulled out a turd.

He compared this controversy to the Duke Lacrosse Case.

He appears on that network that scares White people with stories of Blacks looting the liquor store.

Your Ego with Neil Cuvato is the afternoon program that mixes politics, business and scantly clad women in an hour program. The lawman appears on the program to give his expertise.

Clarke said of the charges, “it’s a miscarriage of justice. This neophyte prosecutor stood up there and made a political statement, Neil, and I say that because she’s chanting or voicing some of the chants from this angry mob. Her job is to tune that out. She said, I hear the voices. She’s not supposed to hear anything as she reviews this case that is not consistent with the rule of law and our system of justice. Look, I’m an experienced and a veteran homicide detective. I've had — I've participated in charging conferences. There is no way I have ever gotten a criminal charge within 24 hours after taking over all the reports and evidence to a prosecutor. A prosecutor who is thorough needs several days to sift through hundreds of pages of reports. They usually want to interview some of the witnesses themselves, in person, and they have to sift through all of the evidence, piece by piece, and they have to wait for some of the forensics evidence to conclude, to come back and that’s why I say on a minimum, three to four days. She just got this case yesterday. This is political activism. She’ll never prove this beyond a reasonable doubt, and I’m not going to silently stand by and watch my brother officers, offered up as human sacrifices, thrown like red meat to an angry mob, just to appease this angry mob.” And that “she rushed this thing through.”

After his interview was cut off to carry a Fraternal Order of Police press conference live, he continued, “she knows she’s not going to be able to prove these charges beyond a reasonable doubt. This is George Zimmerman and the Duke Lacrosse case all over again. A politically active district attorney or state’s attorney, you can tell the emotion in her voice, she almost did this with glee. And that’s why I believe, like they [the FOP] do…she needs to remove herself from the case. I hope the state’s attorney general gets involved in this, and sees the error of her ways. The smart for her to do is recuse herself and name a special prosecutor.”

He added that “there may be and probably are, some civil torts here, but what little I know, and I don’t know all the facts, but I’m listening to the emotion in their voice, and listening to those political statements that she made at the end of that news conference, that’s political activism, it’s wrong, it’s probably in violation of her code of ethics as a lawyer. And again, I’m going to take my time with this, but I’m not going to sit idly by, and I want to call out to every law enforcement officer in the country to pay attention to this. Because, I see a pattern, at least demands from an angry mob, that we be offered up as human sacrifices. We don’t do that in our system of justice in the United States just to please an angry mob. And I sense from what I heard her say, Neil, that that’s what is going on here.”

Clarke concluded, “there are some things I find in this case — what little I know — that are problematic from a procedural standpoint, but Neil, it doesn't make it criminal. These cops are political prisoners. I’m calling them political prisoners because this state’s attorney, stood up there and made a political statement at the end, talking about she hears the voices, and no justice and no peace.”

The case was polarizing as well. Crystal Mangum, the former stripper claimed that three white Duke students raped her while she was drunk. That didn't turn out to be case and the three men were cleared of the crime.

Mangum would later get 20 in the iron college after she admitted to killing her boyfriend in a fight.

The controversial lawman has been praised by the racist right for being the only Nigger that makes sense. Of course, the people of Milwaukee and the county he resides in aren't fond of him. They practically despise him and think his opportunistic quest to be mayor could be the reason why he's making more appearances on that news network that scares White people.

Clarke is getting the conservative badge of honor. The splash on the conservative Craiglist came Friday around 7pm and this rant was linked from Breitfart yet again.

This lawman is a Democrat. Or rather a Republican who ran as an independent in a Democratic primary to win over Black votes. He wanted to prove to the junk food media that the Black community is enslaved by the "Democrat" Party and it's slave owner Barack Obama.

As with many who viewed the riots in Baltimore, many have an opinion. Obviously the Republicans and their conservative allies view the riots as "failed liberal" policies and whatever else they pull out their asses.

And Clarke calls the rioters, "sub human". The junk food media says this is rioters tearing up their neighborhoods are no different than those who reacted in Benghazi/

Some have said that Baltimore, Detroit, St. Louis and every city with a minority-majority are "Third World" nations. Whatever it takes to make $$$$ of Black pain. Ignoring the fact that these were isolate incidents being overblown. The events happened in three neighborhoods of the city.

It wasn't happening in the other neighborhoods. There's over 140 neighborhoods in Baltimore. There were just three neighborhoods.

While he is certainly entitled to opinion, this lawman needs put a cork in it.

Clarke is a pathetic excuse for cop. I bet that some in Wisconsin's law circles hate this guy and wish he would not embarrass his state. He needs to focus on his own jurisdiction.

Mosby isn't stepping aside despite the outcry from the racist right. She is certainly getting death threats over this controversy.

The Baltimore six face the music. The list of names are down below.
These are the mugshots of the six officers who were charged for involuntary manslaughter in the death of unarmed suspect Freddie Gray. One of the officers is facing second degree murder by reckless unjustifiable homicide. These faces will see a day in court.

Three of the officers are facing manslaughter charges and one faces an additional count of second degree depraved-heart murder. The murder charge carries a possible penalty of 30 years in the iron college; the manslaughter and assault offenses carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in the iron college.

All six officers were released from jail after posting bail the same day they were booked. Two officers were released on $250,000 bail and the four others' bail was $350,000.

  • Officer Caesar R. Goodson, Jr.: Second degree depraved heart murder; involuntary manslaughter; second-degree assault; manslaughter by vehicle (gross negligence); manslaughter by vehicle (criminal negligence); misconduct in office.
  • Officer William G. Porter: Involuntary manslaughter; second degree assault; misconduct in office.
  • Lt. Brian W. Rice: Involuntary manslaughter; two counts of second degree assault; manslaughter by vehicle (gross negligence); two counts of misconduct in office; false imprisonment.
  • Officer Edward M. Nero: Two counts of second degree assault; manslaughter by vehicle (gross negligence); two counts of misconduct in office; false imprisonment.
  • Officer Garrett E. Miller: Two counts of second degree assault; two counts of misconduct in office; false imprisonment.
  • Sgt. Alicia D. White: Involuntary manslaughter; second degree assault; misconduct.

They are innocent until proven guilty. They are currently on suspension and were granted "get out free" cards.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said there was no place in the Baltimore Police department for those police officers who "choose to engage in violence, brutality, racism and brutality." Gene Ryan, president of the police union chapter said that despite the tragic situation, "none of the officers involved are responsible for the death of Mr. Gray."

Now with that being said, we will continue to follow this controversy.

B.B. King On Dire Straights!

Legendary blues singer B.B. King is in dire straights. The family confirms he's in hospice care.

There's news of the blues legend B.B. King being interned into a hospice. The 89-year old blues icon has been fighting diabetes and an irregular heart for years. Now it seems like it's taken its toll.

His family and publicist confirms he's at home in Las Vegas. He's getting home care.

So we here at World News Today will keep you updated on the health of B.B. King.

Expect the junk food media to cover it as well as President Barack Obama.

CNN reports that King spent several days in the hospital in early April for dehydration caused by his Type II diabetes.

King has toured for decades, but has no upcoming concert dates listed on his website.

Known as "King of the Blues," the Mississippi native was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, and has 30 Grammy nominations.
President Barack Obama gets an opportunity to jam with B.B. King.
Some of his hits include "The Thrill Is Gone," which won him his first Grammy in 1970, "There Must be a Better World Somewhere" and "When Love Comes to Town," a collaboration with U2.

B.B. King (born Riley B. King; September 16, 1925) is an American blues musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist.

Wikipedia explains that King is nominated No. 6 in Rolling Stone's 2011 list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time (previously ranked No. 3 in the 2003 edition of the same list), and he was ranked No. 17 in Gibson's "Top 50 Guitarists of All Time".

According to Edward M. Komara, King "introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending and shimmering vibrato that would influence virtually every electric blues guitarist that followed."

King was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. King was also inducted into 2014 class of the R&B Music Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the most influential blues musicians of all time, earning the nickname "The King of Blues", and one of the "Three Kings of the Blues Guitar" (along with Albert King and Freddie King).

King is also known for performing tirelessly throughout his musical career, appearing at 250-300 concerts per year until his seventies. In 1956 it was noted that he appeared at 342 shows. King continues to appear at 100 shows a year.

Over the years, King has developed one of the world's most identifiable guitar styles. He borrowed from Blind Lemon Jefferson, T-Bone Walker and others, integrating his precise and complex vocal-like string bends and his left hand vibrato, both of which have become indispensable components of rock guitarists' vocabulary. His economy and phrasing has been a model for thousands of players.

King has mixed blues, jazz, swing, mainstream pop and jump into a unique sound. In King's words,

"When I sing, I play in my mind; the minute I stop singing orally, I start to sing by playing Lucille."

If You Ask For Justice And You End Up Getting A Bunch Of Excuses....

There's going to be accountability. Baltimore city prosecutor Marilyn Mosby told the junk food media that the six officers will have a day in court. They were charged with homicide, involuntary manslaughter and illegal detainment.

The six officers who apprehended Freddie Gray are being charged with homicide and involuntary manslaughter. They will have a day in court. They are innocent until proven guilty. The junk food media heard the prosecutor Marilyn Mosby deliver the news.

Marilyn Mobsy the city of Baltimore prosecutor has also noted that patience is needed in this. She heard the cries of the city and she promises to deliver fair justice towards those involved.

It is noted that the U.S. Justice Department and Mosby will eventually will issue charges to those caught on camera rioting.

This woman will certainly get her share of death threats from the racist right and supporters of the law enforcement. Obviously the AM agitators will tear into it. The conservatives will say that this is an injustice. The officers didn't do nothing wrong. Conservatives believe that Gray caused his injuries and Stephanie Rawlings-Blake ordered a stand down during the riots. They blame liberal policies, the Democratic Party, President Barack Obama, Rev. Perm, and Black leaders for agitating anti-cop rhetoric. They believe that public schools created criminals and the poverty paradise is a Democratic Party success.
The officers who were filmed are being charged with felonies.
Liberals on the other hand will say that this is what needs to be done. Accountability. They believe that the injuries on Gray were not self-inflicted. Liberals believe that Baltimore has areas where food deserts are overwhelming and corporations aren't willing to invest in impoverish areas. They believe that the media (and even some liberals) are over blowing the riots. The Democratic Party is calling for economic reform and opportunities for the poor. They believe the safety net is necessary to help America struggling when they're unemployed and needy.

In the wake of the other high profile police shootings, I have a feeling that these officers could walk.

No surprise here!

Before I get into the rant, I want to announce a change in the name. While you still can refer this blog as Journal de la Reyna, it has changed to World News Today.

A new day has dawn. We changed the narrative and we hope you continue to read our blog.

Thanks again to S. Baldwin for allowing me to give our readers an honest take on the latest issues facing our community, the government and the junk food media.

If you had a thought on the controversy over in Baltimore, what would it be?

If I was a resident of Baltimore and the media wanted to ask me questions about the rioting and the aftermath, I would have told them with no remorse to pick up a god damn trash bag and help us pick up the trash. Quit shoving your microphone in my face. You don't come when you see all the real problems here. All you want to do is make White folks scared and more racist than they are now!

I know that we all have a passionate view of these issues. For me being a Black man, I do have a strong distrust towards law enforcement. I became a victim of profiling. I had been stopped, arrested and detained without due process.

I don't say all cops are bad. But a handful of them are not good. And these people in law enforcement use their position as an enforcer than a protector. They see things through the color lens. They can't offer any opportunities to the ones who already lost. They can't offer opportunities to those who could be in the lost.

The media is too partisan. It favors Republicans more than usual. The cries of liberal media continue to stick among the unswayed. They can't change their minds. They won't open their minds.

As long as it wasn't them, they care less about Black America.

The conservatives are not interested in the plight of Black America. That's probably why Republicans are struggling to win votes. Most Blacks view the Republican Party as a MAJORITY WHITE party.
News agitator Leland Vittert tried to ambush Baltimore mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Rev. Perm during a press release. Loserville and the racist right bitch about Rev. Perm coming to Baltimore. They were bitching earlier about him not coming to the city in the wake of the riots.
We can't figure out whether the Republicans are too extreme or just plain stupid. We can't determine what's in their hearts but surely we can determine that they have no love for their fellow man. The conservative claim they don't judge by the content of color, but yet complain about how Black lives haven't improved under President Barack Obama.

They won't serve gay couples pizza in Indiana. They won't serve communities that are too Black for them. They figured that since they're colored neighborhoods, they ain't got the money so why bother.

They want to prove to the world that "Black mob violence" is on the rise.

They want to say Freddie Gray hurt himself according to an interment riding in paddy wagon. They heard from a source who heard from another source who told another source about it.

They want to say that President Barack Obama hates the cops.

They complain about Rev. Perm not coming to Baltimore in the wake of the first round of riots.

When he does come, they complain about him meddling.

They claim that the mayor of the city advocates for rioting. When she imposes a curfew and order more police to aid in the crisis, they claim it's not enough or she told them to stand down.

They want to say that the peaceful protesters are miscreants. They want the pictures of rioters (the Black ones) looting liquor and a fresh pair of Nike's. They don't care about the White looters.

They want to head to the comment sections to vomit all things added with a "racial slur".

They want to prove that if the Republicans were in charge, these protesters would be in lockup. They claim that the Democratic Party is responsible for the gun violence, rioting, and the reasons to why Blacks are angry.
Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) on a bullhorn telling residents to go home. Loserville's Leland Vittart tries to ambush him twice during the curfew.
They believe that "Hands Up Don't Shoot" is a myth.  Even though the Department of Justice said that Michael Brown didn't have his hands up, many others have and they've been shot.

They want to have visual proof of police brutality.

And when they complain about liberalism or idealism, the conservatives find ways to prove to the world that they're nothing but condescending bigots who refuse to serve based on sexuality, race and political views.

They don't give a flying fuck about the boarded up homes and businesses. They don't give two fucks about the poverty, income inequality, the lack of jobs, and the sense of no hope.

I will write another honest opinion about certain agitators in the media.

I will mention their names. Rush Limbaugh, Colin Flaherty, Sean Hannity, Matt Drudge and Breitbart Media. These agitators are poison to the Republican Party. I will offer an honest opinion in May.

Ben E. King Passed Away!

Legendary soul singer Ben E. King passed away.

You've heard the song "Stand by Me". It was sung by Ben E. King. That song was used in the 1980s Rob Reiner's cult classic Stand By Me. The movie featured the late River Phoenix.

The song is on on the RIAA's list of Songs of the Century.

The Associated Press reports that the R&B singer passed away last night. His baritone voice helped The Drifters score some major hits.

King started his career in the late 1950s with The Drifters, singing on hits including There Goes My Baby and Save The Last Dance For Me.

After going solo, he hit the US top five with Stand By Me in 1961.

King was born Benjamin Earl Nelson on September 28, 1938 in Henderson, North Carolina, and moved to Harlem, New York, at age 9.

King was active in his charitable foundation, the Stand By Me Foundation. He was a resident of Teaneck, New Jersey, from the late 1960s.

King performed "Stand By Me" during a televised tribute to late comedian George Carlin, as he was one of Carlin's favorite artists.

On November 11, 2010, he performed "Stand By Me" on the Latin Grammys with Prince Royce.
Ben E. King with his wife Betty.
King toured the United Kingdom in 2013 and played concerts in the United States as late as 2014, despite reported health problems.

King died on April 30, 2015, at the age of 76.

His agent said he suffered from "coronary problems" at the time of his death.

He was survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty.

Wikipedia entries stated that King (still using his birth name) joined a doo wop group called the Five Crowns. Later in 1958, the Drifters' manager George Treadwell fired the members of the original Drifters, and replaced them with the Five Crowns.

King had a string of R&B hits with the group on Atlantic Records. He co-wrote and sang lead on the first Atlantic hit by the new version of the Drifters, "There Goes My Baby" (1959). He also sang lead on a succession of hits by the team of Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, including "Save the Last Dance for Me", "This Magic Moment", and "I Count the Tears".

King only recorded thirteen songs with the Drifters—two backing other lead singers and eleven lead vocal performances—including a non-single called "Temptation" (later redone by Drifters vocalist Johnny Moore). The last of the King-led Drifters singles to be released was "Sometimes I Wonder", which was recorded May 19, 1960, but not issued until June 1962.

Due to a contract dispute with Treadwell in which King and his manager, Lover Patterson, demanded that King be given a salary increase and a fair share of royalties, King never again performed with the Drifters on tour or on television; he would only record with the group until a suitable replacement could be found. On television, fellow Drifters member Charlie Thomas usually lip-synched the songs that King had recorded with the Drifters.

In May 1960, King left the Drifters, assuming the more memorable stage name Ben E. King in preparation for a successful solo career. Remaining with Atlantic Records on its Atco imprint, King scored his first solo hit with the ballad "Spanish Harlem" (1961).

His next single, "Stand by Me", written with Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, ultimately would be voted as one of the Songs of the Century by the Recording Industry Association of America. King cited singers Brook Benton, Roy Hamilton and Sam Cooke as influences for his vocals of the song. "Stand by Me", "There Goes My Baby", and "Spanish Harlem" were named as three of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll; and each of those records plus "Save The Last Dance For Me" has earned a Grammy Hall of Fame Award. King's other well-known songs include "Don't Play That Song (You Lied)", "Amor", "Seven Letters", "How Can I Forget", "On the Horizon", "Young Boy Blues", "First Taste of Love", "Here Comes the Night", "Ecstasy", and "That's When It Hurts". In the summer of 1963, King had a Top 30 hit with "I (Who Have Nothing)", which reached the Top 10 on New York's radio station, WMCA.

King's records continued to place well on the Billboard Hot 100 chart until 1965. British pop bands began to dominate the pop music scene, but King still continued to make R&B hits, including "What is Soul?" (1966), "Tears, Tears, Tears" (1967), and "Supernatural Thing" (1975). A 1986 re-issue of "Stand by Me" followed the song's use as the theme song to the movie Stand By Me and re-entered the Billboard Top Ten after a 25-year absence.

We here at World News Today send our condolences to the family of Ben E. King. The world lost a great musician.

The Boomtown Myth in America's 4th Most Miserable City (Downtown Dayton,...

Mile High Heating And Cooling Got Cold Comfort!

There is a controversy from Denver. A suburban heating and cooling business got some unwanted attention after a hidden camera caught one of their employees boldly telling the snitch that the business refuses to serve the "colored" neighborhood.

Denver's Montbello neighborhood must be a Black majority neighborhood.

Fox31 Denver caught the woman by the name of Andrea giving the snitch a heads up to why they placed Montbello on the "never call" listing.

Mile High Heating & Cooling website uses stock photos of White families.
Andrea says that those people are too broke to pay up for services rendered. That's the "colored" neighborhood.

She referred the neighborhood as Mount Ghetto.

Denver's Black community isn't impressed with this revelation, Now they want this business to see an unfortunate end.

The civil rights leaders call upon a boycott. They said the only green Mile High Heating And Cooling will be seeing is the weeds on that abandon building they once called a business.

Fox31 went to visit Andrea and her bosses. They run. The company is owned by 21-year-old Kasey Dykman and his 48-year-old father Kevin Dykman. They refuse comment when confronted. But later released a statement saying that they do not discriminate against their $$$$. They told the local junk food media that Andrea was "fired out the cannon".
Montbello-CSR-Map-for-web
Montbell is on the "do not call" list.
Even other businesses are getting swarmed with internet hate. One Mile High Heating And Cooling (with no relation to the controversial business) has expressed outrage. Because of this company, this business was flooded with death threats. They sent the trolls to the actual website.

On that website I see a picture of mostly White faces. Well as much as I hate a solicitor call around 9am through 9pm, I for one am amazed that out of seven local businesses, this one managed to screw all of them (by namesake).

The smell the blood in the water. One company released a press statement to ease tension and keep the death threats off their phone lines.

This is coming from Mile High Heating and Cooling, Inc. Not Mile High Heating & Cooling.

Notice the ampersand (&) and the word inc. (incorporated).

Mile High Heating and Cooling is not the company featured on Fox.

[There are] four Denver area companies with a similar name as ours. We are as outraged
as the rest of the Denver community about the comments that one of those companies
made, that was broadcast on Fox recently. We are absolutely not a discriminatory
company, and are saddened by the mindset of our competitor. If you have any
questions, please call us.

We have long been confused with those other companies because of the
closeness of our incorporated names. However, we will never be confused with them on integrity and embracing diversity.

We focus on heating and air conditioning installations, add-ons or replacements with high efficiency units, new construction, geo thermal solutions, boiler installs and replacement, hydronic heating, snow melt solutions, and we service what we sell with maintenance contracts.

Call Mile High Heating and Cooling, Inc. at 303-859-4212 for the best air conditioning installation or furnace installation in Denver.

The ACLU’s legal director Mark Silverstein watched our hidden camera video. He said race-based discrimination policies are against the law. Silverstein said, “There are local ordinances, there are statutes and there are even federal laws that forbid this kind of discrimination based on race.”

Now the question to the good readers of World News Today, will the agitators have a say in this controversy now that it's picked up full steam?
