Rookie Who Shot Christian Taylor Fired Out The Cannon!

Federal probe launched into the death of unarmed suspect.

When Brad Miller was answering a disturbance at a car lot, he managed to do something some called a reckless call. The reckless call killed Christian Taylor. Now he's gotten fired out the cannon for it.

Chief Will Johnson said officer Brad Miller used poor judgment when he decided to open fire on Christian Taylor during a late-night call at an auto dealership, reports AP. Taylor was moving toward the officer when he was shot multiple times, but the chief says there was no physical contact between the men. Police audio reveals that officers were on the scene about two minutes before the shots were fired, reports ABC News.

The 19-year-old, who played football for Angelo State University, allegedly drove his vehicle through the front window of the dealership after breaking the windshield of a car there. “This is a extraordinarily difficult case,” said Johnson, per the Dallas Morning News. “Decisions were made that have catastrophic outcome.” The case is expected to go before a grand jury to determine whether Miller will face criminal charges.
