The Ellen Show is under fire for allegations of a toxic work environment.
The Ellen Show (known as The Ellen DeGeneres Show) is under investigation by the top executives over allegations of racism, hostile treatment of workers and the show's host ignoring the concerns.
Allegations got the host and her executive producers in hot water. She just recently signed on for two more seasons. Ellen is making over $24 million a season and is considered the "Queen of Daytime."
Variety reports that WarnerMedia is looking into the numerous accounts of workplace problems on the long-running daytime series.
Executives from show producer Telepictures and distributor Warner Bros. Television sent a memo to staffers last weeks saying that WBTV-owner WarnerMedia's employee relations group and a third party firm, who will interview current and former staffers about their experiences on set, said sources.
Ellen interviews Portia De Rossi, her wife.
Among the recent stories regarding the shows was a report this month from Buzzfeed in which former and current staff members describe the show as a "toxic work environment."
The ex-employees shared harrowing details of their day-to-day experiences working. They said that some behind the scenes made racist remarks.
Former staffers who used to work at the show are coming out to share their stories. One makeup artist was quoted as saying that when he tried to make small talk with Ellen, she allegedly said, "Who do you think you are? Don't look at me."
According to stories posted on Twitter, behind the scenes, DeGeneres had a history of sending employees home if she believed they had bad breath. A former staffer on the show wrote, “I saw Ellen in the hallways every day and would say hello and she never once said hello back. She wouldn’t smile. She wouldn’t even acknowledge me at all. For two seasons.”
One Black producer said she was the victim of "microagressions" from senior staff members.
The show's three executive producers are taking the blame for any issues, declaring in a statement, "For the record, the day-to-day responsibility of the Ellen show is completely on us. We take all of this very seriously and we realize, as many in the world are learning, that we need to do better, are committed to do better, and we will do better."
Nina Turner is a former Ohio state senator and all around shithead. This shithead is one of the primary reasons why Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) failed at winning the nomination.
The Sanders Campaign had struggled to pull in the votes during the primary. The team was counting on a crowded field and a whisper campaign of misinformation from the likes of her and many other Bernie Bros.
Turner, who is a prominent surrogate for Sanders expressed her lack of excitement for Biden in an interview with The Atlantic this week.
"It's like saying to somebody, "You have a bowl of shit in front of you, and all you've got to do is eat half of it instead of the whole thing. It's still shit," said Turner.

Despite being an avid supporter of Trump, he did advocated for Black Lives Matter and endorsed Lena Taylor, a local activist who tired to run for mayor of Milwaukee.
A statement was released from the Republican Party of Wisconsin chairman Andrew Hitt:
"It is tragic to learn of this senseless murder of Bernell Trammell, and I offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends. Because of Trammell's well known political activism and the possibility that his murder could be politically motivated, I respectfully request that the United States Attorney Matthew Krueger open an investigation into this heinous crime. No American should fear for their personal safety because of where they live or their political affiliation."

Charlamagne Tha God is a radio personality on New York's Power 105.1 FM (Power 105). He is the co-host of The Breakfast Club, a syndicated radio program that is streamed online and through the cable network REVOLT.
He is the guy who does the "Donkey Of The Day" segments in which he criticizes individuals in the junk food media who say something that he believes is stupid.
Earlier this year, Charlamagne interviewed Joe Biden. Biden had called out Blacks who refused to vote for him and supported his rival.
He said, "You ain't Black" if you're supportive of his rival. That generated a controversy. And of course, it forced Biden to apologize and gave Charlamagne and the Republicans a few weeks of talking points.
That lasted a few weeks until the George Floyd tragedy.
Well he goes after Biden after he criticized Donald J. Trump. Biden called Trump the first "racist U.S. president."
"How the hell can Donald Trump be the first racist president in a country where 12 presidents before him owned slaves?" said Charlamagne Tha God on his radio show.
Biden said Trump is America's first racist president. He meant the 21st Century's first racist president.
"I really wish Joe Biden would shut the eff up forever and continue like he's starring in the movie, 'A Quiet Place,' because as he opens his mouth and makes noise, he gets us all killed, OK?"

White extremists spark outrage after they appeared in Walmart wearing Nazi paraphilia.
Walmart and many of the American retailers are requiring mandatory mask wearing in their stores.
One couple decided to be assholes about it and Walmart decided to put the hammer on it. They have mandated that shoppers must wear facial protection and it has to be appropriate attire.
This couple who was not named was filmed inside a Walmart in Marshall, Minnesota wearing facial covers with the Nazi swastika on it.
The white extremists even had the audacity to troll the Walmart cashier who was a person of color.
Raphaela Mueller filmed this encounter and it has been watched over 4 million times.
In the video, a man who is off camera can be heard telling the couple, "You're sick. You have an illness, you can't be American and wear that mask."
As the man is speaking, the woman flings her arms up into the air in a "ta-da" gesture, before flashing the middle fingers at the camera.
The man also raises his arms into the air, before quickly going back to putting items onto the conveyor belt.
"We literally had a war about this," the man said off camera.
As the woman mumbles something unintelligible, a second man off camera says, "My grandfather killed Nazis."
The woman then paces around, denying the fact that she's a Nazi, saying instead "socialism is going to happen her in America" and that "if you vote for Biden, this is what we're going to have, socialism!"
One of the off-camera men brans the mask "so incredibly offensive" as the woman walks away.
So it took some internet sleuths to figure out the names of these white extremists. The Marshall Police were notified and are aware of the situation and have not considered pressing charges for the disruption.
However, Walmart did formally ban these white extremists from shopping at this location. If they return, the could be arrested for trespassing.

Sen. Tom Cotton calls slavery a "necessary evil" and believes that America classrooms should not be taught Project 1619.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said American slavery is a "necessary evil" upon which the union was built.
He dismissed the idea that America's founding fathers built this country off the backs of people of color. He dismisses the fact that Europeans stole the land from the indigenous people who first settled on the land we know call the United States and Canada.
Cotton made the jarring remark in an interview with the local junk food media. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, based out of Little Rock had interviewed the controversial senator on Sunday as he promoted a new bill that teaches the New York Times' 1619 Project about slavery in the United States.
The senator argued that slavery is a critical piece of American history, saying "As the Founding Fathers said, it was the necessary evil upon which the union was built, but the union was built in a way, as Lincoln said, to put slavery on the course to its ultimate extinction."
Cotton defended the bullshit remarks by insisting that he was merely citing the Founding Fathers in a tweet posted by his buddy Donald J. Trump, and his office state that the senator does not personally believe slavery was a "necessary evil."
Cotton last week introduced his bill, the Saving American History Act, which aims to "prohibit the use of federal funds to teach the 1619 Project by K-12 schools or school districts."

The media mogul has been at odds with Hearst Publications and felt they weren't running her magazine and branding right.

We learned that Hillary Clinton had led in most polls but ended up still losing in 2016. Biden who is being attacked by the right and some on the left. These attacks have circulated on social media and could pick up steam as we roll into August.
The Republican senator from Wisconsin, Ron Johnson is allegedly holding information that could be used in the election. He deliberately took information from Ukraine operatives who side with the Russian Federation. Johnson and Republicans are willing to share this shit with Fox News, Breitbart and far-right outlets.
Barack Obama is hoping to build the coalition that he made back in 2008.
A new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research also finds Trump's approval for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic falling to a new low, with just 32% of Americans supportive of his approach. Even Trump's standing on the economy, long the high water mark for him, has fallen over the past few months after seeming ascendant earlier this year.
These political headwinds have sparked a sudden summer shift in the White House and the Trump campaign. After spending months playing down the seriousness of the pandemic and largely ignoring the virus' resurgence in several states, Trump warned this past week that the situation is likely to get worse before it gets better. After reportedly minimizing the importance of wearing mask to limit the spread of the virus, Trump finally urged Americans to do exactly that. And after insisting he would press forward with a large campaign convention in August, Trump announced he scrapped those plan.
The electoral map has changed. Wisconsin is leaning towards Biden. Ohio is now a toss-up. Previously, I had Ohio and Wisconsin as likely Trump. Minnesota is likely Biden. Texas is likely Trump.
Iowa continues to lean towards Trump. Missouri is leaning Trump.
Michigan and Pennsylvania are a loss for Trump.
Arizona, Florida, North Carolina and Georgia are now toss ups. These states that Trump carried in 2016.
Don't take this election for granted.

In the summer, Trump was trailing Clinton badly before he ended up winning this election.
Trump has been able to hold on to a loyal base of voters and that could be a key to his victory. Biden has been out of the public eye for nearly four years. He has some name recognition but still considered a remnant of Barack Obama (like Hillary Clinton).
With Fox News and in particular, Sean "Softball" Hannity and Tucker Carlson still anchoring, it's going to be a lot of disinformation and name-drops.
Biden will eventually announce his running mate. Whomever it is, will face the ringer.
Biden is being pressured to pick a woman of color to be his running mate. We only hope that the pick will satisfy Democrats.
Trump has tried to soften the rhetoric when he's doing those White House Coronavirus Task Force briefings. However, he still post bullshit on social media and continues to golf. He had previously complained about Obama golfing when there's a crisis.
Trump continues to golf at his private resorts without a care in the world.
He'll be golfing again as a private citizen once we vote his ass out. But it's going to take a lot of votes and fair electoral college outcome for that to happen.
Trump still has the advantage and believe me, I don't want to see the junk food media get it wrong about his chances of losing badly.
The rapper/media mogul Future has nine children. One of those children is disputed right now and he's facing litigation from that issue. My second cousin is one of the seven women who has a child with the entertainer.
Reality television agitator Lori Harvey is currently dating the entertainer and despite warnings from her step-dad Steve Harvey, the woman wants to be a mother soon.
Future's eldest son Jakobi Wilburn is mentioned in his songs. He is also mentioned in legal battles and could face serious time in the iron college due to his association with domestic terrorists.
Wilburn was arrested in January charged with "criminal use of an article with altered ID mark -- possession of firearm and giving a false name, address or birthdate to law enforcement officer."
The 17 year old is facing criminal activities in regards to being a gang member and trespassing.
Court documents reportedly show that Wilburn listed himself as indigent and needed a public defender.
Wilburn's mother Jessica Smith and Future offered to pay for the teen's attorneys.
"Our son is a minor and to protect his well being in this trying situation, we ask that everyone please respect our privacy at this time," said Smith to TMZ.
In 2013, Smith filed a lawsuit against Future when she accused the 36-year old entertainer of lying about his income to duck child support. She took him to court and accused him of neglecting his duties as a father and asked for more child support.
Wilburn is expected to face a trial jury in August. If convicted he could face up to 20 years in the iron college.
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Regis Philbin, a legendary television personality who had a career spanning over 60 years has passed away. He was recently interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel this year when they decided to launch primetime, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire.
The beloved TV personality who hosted Live! with Kathy Lee Gifford and later Kelly Ripa has passed away from natural causes at the age of 88.
Philbin is a media personality, game show host, actor, singer, and comedian. He was one of the hardest working men in showbusiness.

Live! host Kelly Ripa pens a heartfelt tribute to her former co-host and friend.
Born in the Bronx, Regis graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He also had a stint in the U.S. Navy before joining the entertainment industry. He served as a page for The Tonight Show in the 1950s. He got his first exposure in television as the sidekick for Joey Bishop.
"We are deeply saddened to share that our beloved Regis Philbin passed away last night of natural causes, one month shy of his 89th birthday," said the statement sent to CNN Saturday. "His family and friends are forever grateful for the time we got to spend with him -- for his warmth, his legendary sense of humor, and his singular ability to make every day into something worth talking about."
"We thank his fans and admirers for their incredible support over his 60-year career and ask for privacy as we mourn his loss," the statement said.
Philbin was the host of numerous television shows, including the morning talk show "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee," which he co-hosted with Kathie Lee Gifford. Co-hosting duties were later taken over by Kelly Ripa and the show was renamed "Live with Regis and Kelly."
Over the years, Philbin also hosted Miss America pageants and game shows like ABC's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire."

Philbin was nominated for 37 Daytime Emmy Awards throughout his career and won six, and he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008. In 2006, Philbin was inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame and the Television Academy Hall of Fame.
Philbin holds the world record for most hours on US television, according to Guinness World Records, with more than 16,700 hours on air.
Philbin's longtime co-host Kathie Lee Gifford responded to the news on Twitter, writing simply, "REGIS. There will never be another."
In a statement posted on Instagram, Ripa and her current co-host, Ryan Seacrest, said they were "beyond saddened" to learn of Philbin's death.
"He was the ultimate class act, bringing his laughter and joy into our homes everyday on Live for more than 23 years," the statement said. "We were beyond lucky to have him as a mentor in our careers and aspire everyday to fill his shoes on the show."
Tributes to Philbin poured in on social media, including from President Donald Trump, who wrote on Twitter, "One of the greats in the history of television, Regis Philbin has passed on to even greater airwaves, at 88. He was a fantastic person, and my friend."
Fellow longtime TV and radio host Larry King shared a picture with Philbin on Twitter, calling him "such a prolific talent."
"He could do it all, and we loved him for it," King wrote. "I will miss him every day."
