Second Term!

File:President Barack Obama.jpg

At noon today, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden takes the oath of office for the beginning of their second term. The Democratic president won against the perennial loser Republican Mitt Romney.

At 8:30am, the vice president takes the oath of office at the Naval Observatory. The vice president will have his oath administered by Supreme Court justice Sonia Sotomayor.

At noon, the president takes the oath of office at the White House. The president will have his oath administered by Chief Supreme Court justice John Roberts.

Then President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are officially sworn in.

They will repeat this on Monday.

The national event will happen on January 21, 2013. It's symbolic for this one because President Barack Obama does it on the third Monday of the January. That is marked as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr day (the national day of service).

By decree of the United States Constitution the 20th Amendment represents the beginning and ending of the terms of the elected federal offices. It also deals with scenarios in which there is no President-elect. The Twentieth Amendment was ratified on January 23, 1933.

Section 1. The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.

Section 2. The Congress shall assemble at least once in every year, and such meeting shall begin at noon on the 3d day of January, unless they shall by law appoint a different day.

Section 3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.

Section 4. The Congress may by law provide for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the House of Representatives may choose a President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them, and for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the Senate may choose a Vice President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them.

Section 5. Sections 1 and 2 shall take effect on the 15th day of October following the ratification of this article.

Section 6. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission.

Now with this second term, the president will deal with the economic challenges ahead. The debt ceiling debate is once again on the table. Gun control is a highly controversial move. Immigration reform will be another challenge. Tax reform will once again be on the agenda. As well as domestic spending cuts.

The Republicans are bringing more opposition and divisiveness. Already, fresh from their retreat, some of the Republicans will skip the inauguration.  And this is fine? The constant disrespect of the president.

Former Republican presidents, George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush will not attend. Bush, Sr. is ailing right now and the former president was recently discharged from a Houston hospital.

Republicans and their conservative allies will be very aggressive this time. But guess what?

So is the president!

Gun Appreciation Day!

A man carrying an assault rifle in a Utah JC Penny. Photo: Screenshot via ABC 4 in Salt Lake City.

The Raw Story reports that in Salt Lake City, the talk of the town was a man carrying a semi-automatic AR 15 inside the mall. He was photographed at the JCPenny store making a purchase and the cause of the concern among shoppers. Although people shown concern about the man, under Utah law it's legal to carry into a mall as long as the firearm isn't "loaded".

The woman who took the photo that got the most attention said it happened on Wednesday, just four hours after President Barack Obama announced a series of executive orders relating to firearms.

This individual wanted to show his "appreciation" for his firearm.

Of course, if he would snap..............!

The man is Joseph Kelley and he's 22-years old and a former military officer. He and probably thousands of others will flock to the town square showing their arms and dedication to the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

I forgot to mention this.

Earlier this month, a man who became famous for training firearm usage on YouTube was killed in an apparent murder.

Keith Ratliff, 32 was murdered by a single gun shot. He created the YouTube channel FPSRussia and it pulls over a billion views. The website shows how to operate firearms and archery. Ratcliff was a resident of Carnsvillle, Georgia, and the local authorities are searching for those involved.

Ohio Police Search For Man Who Assaults Customer In Walmart!

Police: Man beaten in Walmart by gang members photo
White supremacist attacks customer in an Ohio Walmart.

Did I happen to mention this guy is a White supremacist? I didn't but the local news in Ohio did and the Miami Township, Ohio police and Montgomery County, Ohio sheriff are looking for this WHITE TERRORIST! And to make this worse, this individual could be dangerous.

25-year-old Anthony Russell Murphy, wanted in connection with the felonious assault, walked into the Walmart on December 30 with two other men and broke another man’s cheek bone, jaw and nose.

Murphy is reportedly a member of the Aryan Brotherhood, a group considered to be a white supremacist prison gang. The man he’s accused of assaulting is a past member of the organization but has not been active within the group for about six years, according to police.

The victim, who also suffered additional facial fractures, was sent to the hospital the night of the incident and has since been released. He is reportedly scheduled for additional surgery.

Murphy has an Aryan Brotherhood tattoo on his chest and friends and family have confirmed his association with the group, according to police. Authorities speculate that he may be working as a roofer in the area.

“Anyone who helps or harbors him at this point could face potential charges of felony obstructing justice,” said Detective Mike Siney of the Miami Twp. police.

Murphy is on the run, Siney said. Authorities on Tuesday served a search warrant at his West Carrollton residence, 1034 Lookout Trail, apartment B, and did not locate him.

“He’s basically saying, ‘Catch me if you can,’” Siney said.

The man accused of using brass knuckles to beat another man in a Miami Twp. Walmart, sending him to the hospital with several broken bones in his face.

Pro-WHITE Group Sponsors Grab A Gun Day!

The first American Gun Appreciation Day is going to happen on January 19th, and already it's posed to overlap the Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day. The Chick-Fil-A event that happened in the summer of 2012 and it was sponsored by conservative agitators such as Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh.

The huge controversy comes from not only the creator but a WHITE EXTREMIST group that formed its own political action committee. They later pulled the sponsor after controversy ensued.

First things first, Reverend Al Sharpton, a liberal agitator and civil rights activist hosts MSNBC's PoliticsNation, a weeknight program that is the staple to primetime agitators Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz, Lawrence O'Donnell and Chris Matthews.

Sharpton interviews the creator of the Gun Appreciation Day, Larry Ward.

They get into a heated debate over the president's proposals to curb gun violence! The proposals include a ban on semi-automatic weapons and limits on magazine clips. Republicans, the National Rifle Association and their allies in the conservative media were encouraging individuals to buy firearms by the dozen.

The testy interview ended with Sharpton taking offense to Ward comparing this event to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. a famed civil rights activist to gun owner's rights! King who was assassinated by a firearm.

Al Sharpton: "You do realize that Martin Luther King was killed by a gun and that he preached all of his life against the use of any weapons and preached turn the other cheek? So you do realize that what you said was the total antithesis to Dr. King?"

"Do you understand how despicable it would be to members of his family that saw their father killed by gun fire for you to say that you are in some way continuing his legacy on King weekend by doing 'Gun Appreciation Day,' when he preached against that and died from a bullet wound? Then to say that there wouldn't be slavery if slaves had the right to guns? Slaves didn't have any rights. They didn't have the right to marry; they didn't have the right to name their own children—why would they have rights to guns?"

What this Gun Appreciation Day got was some more bad news. The American Third Position, a Neo-Nazi sponsored political group that supports the far right candidates such as Chuck Baldwin, Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan. They're involved in the planning of this event.

Media Matters for America, a liberal group that covers conservative agitators in the media, found that the American Third Position was a sponsor of Gun Appreciation Day.

Gun Appreciation Day, a prominent effort backed by conservative media outlets and activists to oppose new gun laws, has accepted the sponsorship of a white nationalist organization to promote and mobilize supporters for its January 19 event.

Gun Appreciation Day (GAD) is partnering with the American Third Position (A3P), a political group that describes itself as representing "the unique political interests of white Americans." According to a party official, the organization is composed of "white nationalists."

GAD's organizers ask supporters to visit "gun stores, gun counters, gun shows, and gun ranges to protest the Obama administration's post Sandy Hook assault on gun rights." The event has received significant media coverage and promotion in recent days.

GAD lists A3P on its "sponsors" page along with its logo, motto ("Liberty. Sovereignty. Identity") and a link to American3rdPosition.com. Other sponsors include prominent conservative media outlets like RedState, the right-wing blog edited by CNN contributor Erick Erickson. The event's main page asks visitors to "Please Support Our Sponsors."

The pro-gun event is teaming with A3P despite ample and easily found evidence of the group's fringe views. The first Google result for the group after its official website is the user-edited Wikipedia page for A3P, which currently states in its opening sentence that the group "promotes white supremacy."

According to its mission statement, "The American Third Position Party believes that government policy in the United States discriminates against white Americans, the majority population, and that white Americans need their own political party to fight this discrimination." The group also states that it "exists to represent the unique political interests of white Americans. It exists to maintain the identity, culture, and way of life of the American people, whose forefathers, from a vast wilderness, carved out an awe-inspiring extension of Western civilization, in order that their progeny--us--might live in relative peace and prosperity."

Civil rights groups have harshly criticized A3P. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) categorizes A3P as a white nationalist hate group, and states that it is a "political party initially established by racist Southern California skinheads that aims to deport immigrants and return the United States to white rule. The group is now led by a coterie of prominent white nationalists." The Anti-Defamation League calls A3P a "white supremacist political party."

The staff of Gun Appreciation Day pulled the A3P sponsor as of tonight.

But the damage was done and yes, it's being looked upon by those at Media Matters for America and Right Wing Watch, an affiliate to Think Progress and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

WHITE EXTREMISTS aren't amused by the "PC"! Some threaten to not attend due to the pull of the A3P.

But of course it won't stop the hundreds of Elmer Fudds flocking to the Walmarts, Dick's, Gander Mountains, pawn shop or local gun stores across the nation.

Thanks Abby!

Portions of this article come from the Los Angeles Times.

Pauline Friedman Phillips dies at 94; original 'Dear Abby'

Phillips, writing as Abigail Van Buren, dispensed wry, no-nonsense advice to newspaper readers around the world for over 40 years. Her identical twin also wrote an advice column, as Ann Landers.

"Dear Abby" is the world's most widely syndicated column, appearing in more than 1,400 newspapers and generating as many as 10,000 letters a week, according to the syndicate.

Dear Abby: "Are birth control pills deductible?"

"Only if they don't work," she answered.

From 1939 until her death, she was married to Morton B. Phillips, scion of the National Pressure Cooker Co. From an office in their Beverly Hills home, she edited the column into her 80s. She started sharing a byline with her daughter, Jeanne Phillips, in 2000 and turned the column over to her two years later.

The improbable saga of "Dear Abby" began in 1955 when Phillips was an affluent homemaker in Hillsborough, Calif., with time on her hands, doing volunteer work and playing mah-jongg. Her twin, who'd just been hired by the Chicago Sun-Times Syndicate to take over the Ann Landers column, began soliciting her help with replies.

Extremely close, the sisters were thrilled to be collaborating, but the arrangement abruptly ended when the syndicate that distributed the Ann Landers column learned of it.

"Having acquired a taste for dispensing advice," as Phillips wrote in her 1981 book, "The Best of Dear Abby," she offered to write a column for the San Mateo Times, but it declined.

When she called the San Francisco Chronicle, she identified herself to feature editor Stanleigh Arnold as a Hillsborough housewife and said she could write a better column than the one the paper published. Intrigued by her brashness, he invited her to stop by sometime.

GOP Reach Out To Minorities At A Virginia Plantation!

And you wonder why it's harder for the Republicans to win over minorities. Of course, you can't tell that to the online extremists who continue to harp about the Republicans being the party of "civil rights".

If anything, the Republicans are like cocaine, 94% WHITE and 6% OTHER.

An interesting video from The Daily Show's Jon Stewart. He hammers Republicans for their overreaction towards the president's executive orders to curbing gun violence. Many Republicans and conservative media figures were pushing the notion that the president is acting like a tyrant or dictator because he wants to ban semi-automatic weapons. Stewart dismiss this as another phony outrage to gin up fears of a government gun grab.

The dog whistle is being blown once again by calling an elected leader a "KING", "TYRANT", or "ELITIST". They seem to be still fixated on the very thought of losing an election. They complained about the president using children in the press conference. It's a part of ridiculousness of Republican Party. They're becoming unhinged.

Then of course, the Republicans head for the hills. The annual retreat is going to be in Virginia at the Kingsmill Resort on the campus of the Burwell Plantation. In fact, the room is named after the Burwell Family, a wealthy family that owned many slaves in 18th century Southern Virginia. Records pertaining to the families owning of slaves is well-documented by the city of Williamsburg on their website.

The Republicans have a huge problem reaching out to Blacks, Hispanics and women. Thus they have little fanfare with Black leaders. One thing they pull is the "race card". They have one Black member who is rising in the party. The only member of Republican fold is Senator Tim Scott (R-South Carolina).

Scott came into the senate after being picked to represent the state after Jim DeMint resigned.
This is not helping! This comic here makes the case to paint President Barack Obama as an "enslaver" to the Black community. This was done by a Black Republican group. The National Black Republican Association peaks around the time of the King celebration. Every year the NBRA and Black Republicans go full stream into the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. being a Republican talking points. They continue to piss off the Black community with condescending rhetoric that goes against King's philosophies of social justice, equal rights, union rights, and anti-war.
The Republicans have no Black members in the House of Representatives.

The Democrats have no Black members in the U.S. Senate since 2010. The last one was Roland Burris who retired from the senate because of a federal investigation on him. Barack Obama was the last elected member of the U.S. Senate. He was elected to be the President of the United States. He is the current president.

Yet, these online extremists will "shuck and jive" this excuse that Republicans are the party that freed the slaves, passed the Voting Rights Act and Civil Rights Act of the 1960s. They'll rabble rouse on about how the famed civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. Not even providing proof that it ever existed that King voted for a candidate without facing the very same issues such as the infamous poll tax. The very same Republicans who would attack Jesse Jackson, Joesph Lowry and the NAACP but say there's not racist and they believe in King's dream.

The Republicans being at this retreat are trying to figure out what went wrong!

They tried to pass legislation that required identification at the ballot box (to prevent voter fraud). That didn't work. People working for Republicans were caught throwing away ballots, publishing the wrong dates on election mailers, and trying to sign up only first time Republicans. Then some Republican will bring a camera to an event in Ohio, Florida and Colorado to scope out the Black or Hispanic person. They'll use the ignorant Black or Hispanic person to represent the mindset of likely Democratic voters as "gubmint" dependents.

They tried to end early voting. Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin wanted to end early voting because they didn't like the advantage it gave President Barack Obama. So they wanted to keep the lines long and keep people from voting. It's didn't work. It rallied many civil rights groups and progressive agitators to push on! It help the president win Ohio and later Florida, two states that determine an election.

The Republican state leaders are bragging about gerrymandering districts that make it harder for Democrat or other political party member to win. They may have lost the presidency and a chance to retake the U.S. Senate, but they'll have the power in the House of Representatives for years to come. Despite the Republican having a slim majority in the House and tougher fight in the Senate, they will try to undermine the general public because of their stupid "principles".
Los Angeles Times comic satires diversity in the Republican Party.
They can't accept the first Black president. They can't accept the notion of the United States becoming a "browner" nation. They can't accept the fact that the American people want progress!

Currently, the House Democratic caucus is made up of nearly half minorities (47 percent), versus a GOP House caucus that is 90 percent white men. (The Senate is more problematic for both parties, with just one black Senator — Republican Tim Scott of South Carolina.) When it comes to women, the calculus is much the same: more than 30 percent of the House Democratic caucus is female, versus less than 10 percent of the Republican House membership.

And while there are 41 black Democrats in the House, with Tim Scott of South Carolina getting a promotion to the Senate by his state’s governor, and Allen West losing his seat in the last election, there are no black Republicans in the House — and thus, there will be none at the plantation on Friday.

Back in 2009, when Democrats sojourned at the former home of the Burwells and their slaves, their caucus had much the same makeup. For many black Americans, being able to go to a former plantation as a paying guest is something of a psychic triumph. Even better when the guest is the first black president of the United States.

Meanwhile the Republican National Committee, which in December launched an initiative to increase party diversity, (which did include an African-American committeeman from South Carolina and two women — including a Latina — among its six members,) has come under criticism from its former chairman, Michael Steele, who accused the current chairman of all but shutting down efforts he launched to reach out to minorities.

And then there’s the matter of policies like voter ID laws and billboards that cropped up in RNC chairman Reince Priebus’ home state of Wisconsin as well as in Ohio, that seemed aimed at frightening minorities away from the polls. Throw in harsh messaging on immigration, and you begin to see that the party’s problems won’t be solved at a retreat — unless the result of the retreat is a dramatic course correction.

That course correction could still happen — and African-Americans, Latinos and women would surely welcome it.

But for now, optics matter, and they are a combination of place and personnel. It’s not that Republicans can’t hold their retreat anywhere they like — it’s that they shouldn’t be surprised when the picture that’s painted — of a diversity-challenged party choosing that particular location to talk about minority outreach — draws a few jeers.

Glenn Beck Plans On Building "Libertarian" Suburb!

Controversial agitator and media mogul want to build a libertarian/conservative suburb in the state of Texas.

Glenn Beck left his New York home to move to the state of Texas. Ever since the Fox News fiasco, Beck has no permanent television home. He went on to create The Blaze, a conservative themed news agitating blog and video channel.

Beck is the fourth most listened to radio host in the nation.

The urban cowboy is a major thorn to the president. During his short time at Fox News, Glenn Beck appeared at the 5pm slot. He started off big and yet still managed to hurt the network where it hurts, its advertising. During an appearance on Fox & Friends, Beck declared that President Barack Obama was a racist. He stated that the president had deep seated hatred for the White race.

The Color of Change managed to get his advertising pulled and a few syndication affiliates to drop him off the radio dial.

Ever since, you may see Beck on The O'Reilly Factor agitating the latest conspiracy coming from the White House. And since Beck now invest in conspiracies, his former ally Alex Jones is feuding with him.

Beck and Jones both try to outcrazy one another!

Beck make a killing when he does his little profit rage act! From the agitator shedding the crocodile tears to the development of his libertarian/conservative themed suburb, Beck is profiting reasonably well.

Time reports that Beck introduced his high-concept oasis during a Blaze TV program, complete with a blueprint and drawings. Independence would showcase live events, small businesses, educational projects, charity, entertainment, news and information, all built on free-market principles. Residency would not be required for participation.

Independence would imbue its values into its architecture (the front gate is modeled after the one on Ellis Island), its agriculture (plans include a working ranch where visitors can learn how to farm and work the land) and its economy (free-market and laissez-faire, naturally). For instance, a downtown “Marketplace” would be the centerpiece of commerce. “The Marketplace would be a place where craftsmen and artisans could open and run real small businesses and stores,” Beck explained during his presentation. “The owners and tradesmen could hold apprenticeships and teach young people the skills and entrepreneurial spirit that has been lost in today’s entitlement state.”

Beck is a total nutcase, but his idea may come forth. He makes almost $159 million in net worth. Through his radio show, media appearances, books, websites and fan base, Beck managed to be force to reckon with.

When people doubted he would ever succeed, Beck bounced back and continues to defy all the doubters.

We wish him well on his latest endeavor.

Feds Nab White Supremacist For Arson Of Black Family Home!

White terrorist Brian Moudry will face prison time for arson.

One man won't chant his "WHITE POWER" rage in the public eye anytime soon.

This gentleman may face two decades in prison for what he's done to a Black family in the city of Joliet, Illinois.

The Chicago-Sun Times report that Brian Moudry's rage at the Black community reached the boiling point when he set a nearby neighbor's house on fire.

In a plea deal, the self-proclaimed WHITE TERRORIST will take a guilty plea in federal court. Moudry endorsed the World Church of the Creator, a Christian Identity/Neo-Nazi group. The group's founder/former leader Matt Hale is serving a 40 year sentence in U.S. Florence ADX for plotting an alleged hit on federal judge Joan Lefkow.

Moudry, 35, has until now denied torching a house rented by a black family on his block in Joliet in the early hours of June 17, 2007.

He was due to stand trial next month, but has asked to enter a guilty plea in federal court on Friday, court records show. Eight children had to move because of his alleged arson.

The ex-con has previously served time for hate crimes against African Americans, and has also claimed to be the leader of the Illinois branch of a far-right white hate group led by Matt Hale, who’s serving a 40-year prison sentence after being convicted of asking a follower in 2002 to murder U.S. District Judge Joan Lefkow.

Moudry’s face, neck and arms are covered in racist tattoos.

But in a poetic irony, an African-American federal defender — MiAngel Cody — was last summer appointed to represent Moudry, who could not afford to pay an attorney.

Cody did not respond to a request for comment Tuesday. Moudry, who remains in custody, faces a minimum of ten years behind bars on two of his three charges.
