Now this alleged attack of a captain piloting a commercial airliner by a co-pilot. It appears to be a stabbing and a deliberate attempt to crash an airliner.

Folks, how the hell can a flight crew manage to break down a door and retake a airliner as it was decending down massively. It just doesn't make any fucking sense.

It smells like a false flag.

The co-pilot allegedly stabbed the captain, an Indian national named Smit Machchhar, and attempted to deliberately crash the plane.

Flight tracking data from Flightradar24 confirmed the aircraft underwent a sudden, terrifying descent, plunging over 14,000 feet in less than a minute. The aircraft transmitted distress signals, including code 7700 (general emergency) and code 7500 (hijacking/unlawful interference).

Passengers and off-duty crew members heroically breached the cockpit, put the attacker in a chokehold, and managed to secure and land the aircraft safely at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. Both pilots were subsequently hospitalized.

Netanyahu had previously given a vague security briefing to Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid, hinting that Israel's enemies might attempt major disruptions ahead of Israel's October elections. Following the Flydubai co-pilot's attempt to crash the plane, Netanyahu publicly addressed the scare, stating that a major disaster had been averted by heroic passengers and confirming that Israel would join the investigation to see if Iran played a role in orchestrating the attack.

The captain managed to survive a stabbing and potential catastrophic plane crash.

Israel is a foreign country. It is not a fucking religion. You have to right to criticize the country. You have a right to criticize the U.S. president, lawmakers and media personalities who run the country of the United States.

These events are somehow timed to Israel reminding us for the umpteenth time about Oct. 7.

He infamously confused a conflation. He claimed that Smith colluded with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Willis who indicted the 45th and 47th President of the United States and 19 of his allies for trying to interfere in the 2020 Georgia election.

Republicans pushed her personal business as an excuse to undermine her investing the president’s actions. Schmitt claimed that Smith attended an Atlanta Hawks game and met Willis there. It was not the case. He was at an Iowa Hawkeyes game watching Caitlin Clark play her inaugural games.

Smith eventually figured out that Schmitt was mistakenly referring to an Iowa Hawkeyes game that Smith attended at the University of Maryland.

Schmitt dismissed the gaffe still determined to claim that Smith prejured himself.

Sens. Katie Britt (R-AL), Darline Graham Nordone (R-SC), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Ted Cruz (R-TX) and John N. Kennedy (R-LA) joined Schmitt in being total idiots.

Many of former president Joe Biden's failures included the slow walking to prosecute Donald J. Trump once he left office. Appointing Merrick Garland was a huge mistake.

Garland should have aggressively went after Trump and his allies. They should have sought to prosecute and convict him. Right now, he is immune from prosecution and thus until 2029, he will cause chaos in his second presidential term.

Jan. 6, 2021 was a moment in American history. This was a tragic event based off a bitterness caused by Trump. He threatened to uphend the United States over his defeat in 20203 election. 

He stole classifed documents to prevent Biden from knowing what the U.S. government was doing. He held them in plain sight of espionage from not only China, Iran and Russia, but most likely Israel. The state of Israel is most notorious for spying on Americans.

Graham Nordone began the firing squad of idiocy. The appointed senator is screaming at Smith over his investigation into her late brother, the insufferable Lindsey Graham.

He died in July. While he was on this planet, the asshole was involved in trying to pressure Georgia Republicans to not certify the election results. Graham Nordone was trying to shame Smith with Graham's fucked up health.

Graham died of a massive heart attack after he returned from Ukraine.

Addressing the Republican-dominated Senate Judiciary Committee, Smith defended decisions he made as special counsel for the Department of Justice, including the bringing of charges against Trump.

"I made those decisions without regard to President Trump's political association, activities, beliefs or candidacy in the 2024 presidential election," he said.

He made similar remarks during a closed-door hearing before the House Judiciary Committee in December 2025, and during a public hearing before the same committee in January.

"As I appear before you today, it is my belief that the rule of law faces challenges unlike any we have experienced in our lifetime," Smith said.

He denounced "the vilification of the agents, prosecutors, and staff" who worked for him on the investigations since Trump returned to the White House in January 2025.

Nevertheless, "I remain confident that the rule of law will endure because so many continue to uphold it faithfully each day throughout our legal system," the former prosecutor said.

Trump and his Republican allies see Smith as the embodiment of the "weaponization" of the justice system during Democratic President Joe Biden's four years in office.

O'Charley's was part of the parent company O'Charley's, Inc. Enterprise, a multi-concept restaurant company that operated or franchised a total of 363 restaurants under three brands: O'Charley's, Ninety Nine Restaurant, and Stoney River Legendary Steaks.

Flynn, a Christian nationalist and former American Idol contestant shot and killed his wife. He staged it to look like a botched burglary.

The former Ohio music pastor who once appeared on “American Idol” was convicted of murder Tuesday in the killing of his wife while he was having an affair.

Prosecutors said Flynn, 40, staged a home invasion in February after shooting his wife, Ashley Flynn, a 37-year-old schoolteacher and volleyball coach.

Flynn, who claimed his wife was killed by a burglar, could get up to life in prison without the chance of parole when he’s sentenced on Monday.

Flynn closed his eyes, shook his head to the side and fought to maintain his composure as the judge read the guilty verdicts on charges of murder, felonious assault and tampering with evidence. He began sobbing while the judge dismissed the jury. His attorney called the verdicts “disappointing” and said he expects to file an appeal.

Flynn appeared on “American Idol” in 2013, telling TV viewers about how his wife had encouraged him to chase his dreams on the singing competition. He sang before judges Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Nicki Minaj but did not advance to the main competition in Hollywood.

Prosecutors told jurors during closing arguments Tuesday that Flynn wanted out of his marriage when he shot his wife at their home in Tipp City, a suburb north of Dayton. Flynn and the couple’s two daughters were home when police arrived.

The night before the fatal shooting, he sent a text to his lover saying: “I choose you. I’m free. Actions will come tomorrow,” said Matthew Joseph, an assistant Miami County prosecutor.

Flynn didn’t want to lose his daughters, his high-paying job at his wife’s family business or his position in the church, prosecutors said.

“He wanted to keep his mistress and have his daughters all to himself,” Joseph said.

Prosecutors didn’t find the gun used to kill Ashley Flynn, but they said his fingerprints and DNA were all over the scene. They also said his devices showed that he was moving about the house even though he told investigators he was sleeping when his wife was shot.

During the trial, the woman who said she was having an affair with Flynn testified that he said he hated his wife and had thoughts of killing her.

Flynn’s attorney told the jury Tuesday that investigators never found evidence that Flynn fired a gun that day.

“His being unfaithful doesn’t equal murder,” said Patrick Mulligan. “The issue here isn’t, ‘Was he a good husband?’”

Text messages Flynn sent to his lover complaining about his wife were meant to make her feel good, Mulligan said.

Alleigha Botner testified she met Flynn in 2022 while she was a 20-year-old intern at his church and had an affair with him for more than a year. Botner read some of her text messages with Flynn.

About six months before the killing, Flynn wrote: “I was up until 4 a.m. last night crying, literally trying to think of ways to kill her and not go to jail.”

Following the viral incident, internet users dug up an old episode of Judge Judy involving a roommate dispute where Ortega was kicked out of the courtroom by Judge Judy for repeatedly interrupting.

In the video, which was filmed in the Stevenson Ranch area near Santa Clarita, Ortega is seen berating a female taco vendor. Speaking in Spanish, she hurled several insults, calling the vendor a "stinky old woman" ("vieja jedionda") and an "illegal piece of trash". Ortega explicitly threatened to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on the vendors, called them "criminals," and stated she did not want the area to "turn into Mexico". She argued that the unpermitted sidewalk setup was unfair to local, rent-paying business owners and lacked "class".

In late September 2026, Ortega was caught on video aggressively confronting legal sidewalk taco vendors in Santa Clarita, California. Pushing a stroller, she hurled insults in Spanish and English—calling one vendor a "stinky old woman" and labeling them criminals—while threatening to report them to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The video went viral, causing immense public backlash that heavily damaged her local house-cleaning business. The situation took an even stranger turn when Ortega admitted to changing her business's Google listing phone number to the personal phone number of Ricardo Morales, a local man who had messaged her to criticize her behavior. Morales was subsequently flooded with thousands of unwanted calls from across the nation.

In media interviews and videos, Ortega stated that she is "afraid to go outside" and that her family is facing constant harassment across social media platforms. She mentioned that her home address was leaked (doxxed), leading to intense anxiety over her family's safety.

Following the video's explosion across TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), internet users quickly identified Ortega as the co-founder of Excellence Cleaning Pros, a residential house-cleaning company she had spent 10 years building. Within days, her company's Google Business profile and social media pages were flooded with thousands of scathing one-star reviews and angry messages.

Ortega released a tearful video apology. In the video, she acknowledged her behavior was unacceptable but claimed the viral clip was taken out of context. She stated she had not fully understood the weight and sensitivity of using the word "ICE" during a heated argument. Ortega blamed her outburst on pregnancy-induced anger and an impulsive personality, stating she "lost her mind" after one of the vendors photographed her vehicle's license plate. She pleaded for the public harassment to stop, citing safety concerns for her employees and her family.

Cato, a prominent women's clothing company located in many suburban shopping centers is closing up to 150 stores in a restructuring.

Cato Corp. said in its September earnings statement it will close 70 “underperforming” stores in the third and fourth quarters of 2026. That brings the total number of closures this year to 120.

CEO John Cato said the closures come amid a challenging financial environment for many of the chain’s core markets.

“Annually we review approximately one-third of our stores to exercise available lease options or negotiate an extension based on each store’s performance including store sales trend and current and projected store profitability,” Cato said. “In years past, marginal stores were renewed for an additional year to give the store more time to improve its sales trend and profitability.

“In light of the current economic environment, especially with the negative pressure on our customers’ discretionary income, we do not expect these marginal stores to improve appreciably,” he added. “As a result, we are closing more stores than expected this year. We believe that closing these additional stores will have a positive impact on our operating results in fiscal 2027 and beyond.”

Cato’s sales for the second quarter were $163.9 million, a drop of about 6% over the same period the prior year. Same-store sales were down 3.7% year-over-year. Its net income for the second quarter was $1.1 million, down from $6.8 million the prior year.

The Charlotte, North Carolina -based chain operates more than 1,000 stores across 31 states. It also operates Versona, an upscale apparel and accessories brand with 90 locations, as well as It’s Fashion and Fashion Metro Brands, which combine an addtional 119 stores.

Haskins, 75 has passed away according to his friend and caretaker.

An official cause of death has not been confirmed, but Haskins did have Parkinson's. That's according to Dimples Karaoke where Haskins was a regular.

Haskins became known to generations of viewers as the principal of Bayside High, earning the nickname “America’s Favorite Principal.”

Before his television career, Haskins was deeply involved at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Born in Chattanooga on Nov. 18, 1950, Haskins attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Notre Dame High School and UTC.

During college, he reported for the student newspaper, performed with the Drama Club and Harlequins, served as Student Government Association entertainment chairman and belonged to Blue Key Honor Fraternity and the Raven’s Society.

He was also a founding member of the Harlequins community theater group, where he acted, worked as a stage manager and wrote original plays.

As entertainment chairman, Haskins organized student events and helped bring Ike and Tina Turner to UTC in 1973.

Haskins also used his campus involvement to support the community.

The 1990s sitcom Save By the Bell broke barriers.

Through Blue Key, he helped organize the annual “Freaks vs. Fuzz” basketball game, which raised scholarship money for the children of UTC and Chattanooga police officers.

He also helped get Mocs basketball games televised right here on NewsChannel 9.

Haskins first played Mr. Belding in “Good Morning, Miss Bliss” on the Disney Channel in 1988.

The show was renamed “Saved by the Bell” the following year and became a defining sitcom of the 1990s.

After leaving Bayside High, Haskins appeared in films and television shows including “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “A Million Ways to Die in the West.”

The AP reports that Trump earlier vowed to campaign in several battleground races before the November midterm elections.

Trump had went to Tipp City last year. He also appeared in Dayton during the 2019 mass shooting. The president won Ohio in 2016, 2020 and 2024.

Nicki Minaj urged young Americans to get involved in the upcoming midterm elections and "vote red" while doubling down on her support for President Donald Trump in an interview on Saturday.

The Grammy-nominated hip-hop star said on "My View with Lara Trump" that young voters shouldn't assume their voices don't matter as Americans prepare to head to the polls Nov. 3.

"Now is not the time to think that your voice will not be heard," Minaj said. "Your voice will not only be heard, but your voice is very necessary right now for the country and for the world. We need you guys involved. We need you guys involved more than ever before. This is your country, this is your world. You are the ones that have to reap the benefits of whatever vote decisions we make now."

Minaj encouraged young voters to become engaged in their communities and participate in elections beyond presidential contests.

"Think about how much you want a say in what happens and realize that the only way to have that is by voting — not just voting for the president, but just voting in all of the local elections," she said.

The music superstar then urged young voters to support Republican candidates in November.
