Sean "Puffy" Combs aka Diddy kicked Cassie unconscious in front of a surveillance camera.
Sean "Puffy" Combs is going to face questions from the Los Angeles Police and FBI. He is in some deep....
The Bad Boy/Love Records CEO is under federal watch for allegations of sex trafficking, drug trafficking, sexual abuse of minors and an illicit operation of blackmail and other criminal acts.
Now a video released this evening isn't doing Diddy any justice. He can still deny the allegations and the such, but the feds are closing in and he has "No Way Out."
The hotel surveillance video, obtained by CNN and released Friday, is reportedly from March 5, 2016, and compiled from multiple camera angles. The incident matched an allegation levied in Ventura's November sex trafficking, rape and physical abuse lawsuit against the hip hop mogul. The two settled the civil suit one day after it was filed.
In the video, singer/model Cassie Ventura is seen in a black sweater with the hood up and duffle bag in hand, calling an elevator in what CNN reports is the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. In a different camera angle, Diddy is seen in a bath towel running down the hotel hallway.
Cassie gonna bring Puffy down.
He catches up with Ventura before the elevator comes, striking and yanking Ventura by the hair and throwing her to the ground. The producer then kicks Ventura twice while she lies on the ground, picking up her bag and dragging her back toward the hotel rooms.
He then lets her go, appearing to say something to her as he walks back to a hotel room with her bag.
"The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs," Doug Wigdor, Ventura's lawyer, said in a statement to media Friday. "Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light."
In a statement shared with USA TODAY Friday, a spokesperson for InterContinental Hotels Group said, "This hotel is no longer under IHG management, and we do not have any access to prior incident records or footage."
USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Combs for comment.
If Donald J. Trump can have affairs on his three wives, sleep with adult film stars, say he is rich and can grab 'em by the 🐱, commit crimes against the federal government: the Republicans can too.
They claim to be the party of "law and order", "family first", "America first", "free speech" and "protecting the children."
A bunch of fucking hypocrites.
Republicans are preparing for Project 2025. A new plan to ram through a conservative authoritarian agenda. An agenda that could end progressive politics for generations to come.
They support the insurrection.
They support election denial.
They support stripping human rights and civil liberties from Americans.
They support Israel regardless of that apartheid ethnostate's genocidal actions.
They support banning TikTok, arresting peaceful protests, punish Americans who criticize Israel with imprisonment.
Rich McCormick and Beth Van Duyne found a possible MAGA romance.
They support firearms in the hands of white people. They support "open carry" when whites are allowed to parade firearms in public. If it was a Black, Brown, Muslim or immigrant firearm owner, they support imprisonment, deporting and the death penalty.
Insufferable members. They get paid $14,500 a month, work less than 30 hours a week, travel on behalf of taxpayers, constantly begging for donations, getting paid by lobbyist to vote on their interests, support dehumanizing one another through campaign ads and constantly appear on junk food media programs showboating.
Only 156 members of 435 actually work.
They are not newsmakers like Nancy Pelosi, Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, Cori Bush, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Mike Lawler, Majorie Taylor Greene, Jasmine Crockett, Jamie Raskin, Byron Donalds, Jim Jordan, Jared Moskowitz, Ilhan Omar, Maxwell Frost, Mike Johnson, Steve Scalise, James Comer, Nicole Milliotokias, Anna Paulina Luna, Mike Rogers, Ronny Jackson, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Presley, Mike Turner, Josh Gottheimer, Jamaal Bowman and non voting member Stacey Plaskett.
Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA) and Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) reportedly had an affair.
Their affair has lead to McCormick divorcing his wife. The Georgia Republican filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Debra Miller, on May 3, Gwinnett County court records show.
A mutual restraining order was also filed, as is standard in all divorce cases in the central Georgia county.
McCormick is a freshman member.
Van Duyne been in office since 2021. She voted to not impeach Trump after the insurrection. She parades
McCormick has a future. Maybe governor of Georgia.
Van Duyne is the former mayor of Irving, Texas. She supported the arrest of Ahmed Mohamed, a then teenager who built a novelty clock for a high school science project and a bigoted school administration official claimed it was a bomb. Van Duyne went to Fox to attack him and refused to apologize for slandering him.
She is a Islamophobic lawmaker.
She is a racist.
I remember then lawmakers Connie Mack and Mary Bono.
Mack, the grandson of legendary baseball manager Connie Mack, Sr. had an affair with Bono, the widow of Sonny Bono, a famous singer, actor and politician. Bono who lived in California traveled to Florida to be with Mack. They got married and stayed together briefly before divorcing.
What two consenting adults do is their business. I am not trying to shame them.
However, Republicans can't use the we are the party of "family values."
As we are getting ready for the weekend, our U.S. House members are holding a session on whether they should hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt. It is due to the president issuing an executive privilege to prevent House Republicans from listening to the audio of the president talking to Special Prosecutor Robert Hur during the Hunter Biden controversy.
Insufferable House members waste your taxpayer money on sham investigations of President Joe Biden. If they really want to go after Biden, how about they look into his support of Israel.
Former president Donald J. Trump has federal and state indictments. He like all Americans must be held accountable for actions.
As explained earlier, Republicans are heading to New York City to sit in the Trump hush money trial. They are trying to speak on behalf of Trump since he is by court order to not reveal witnesses or instigate conflict towards those who testified.
Trump so far has violated his gag order numerous times.
Republicans claim to be the party of "law and order." Yet they seriously ignore the fact that Trump's supporters were damn near close to destroying democracy and harm them.
Trump illegally held onto classified documents and refused an order by the National Archives and Records Administration to return them without punishment.
Trump had illegally funneled money to Michael Cohen to pay off Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal from publishing their stories of adultry with the former president.
Trump willingly tried to interfere in the peaceful transfer of presidential powers through a illicit activity involving individuals posing as electors to deny his successor the electoral college vote. His allies are being sent to federal time out because of their refusal to speak to Congress and federal authorities.
A 34 year old New York lawmaker shows more maturity than a 50 year old Georgia lawmaker.
Trump has also tried to interfere in the matter of Fulton County, Georgia. He tried to instigate Georgia state official Brad Raffensperger to throw out votes in Atlanta.
Trump is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. He and 20 others were criminal charged. A handful of them agreed to testify against him for leniency.
The Republicans are insufferable. Had it been them, you would not see any member backing them. Mark Foley, Dennis Hastert, Madison Cawthorn, Aaron Schock, John Ensign, Steve Stockman and other disgraced Republicans for example.
They never got a call from any of these bootlickers.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Rep. Nicole Milliotokias (R-NY), Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) were on our taxpayer dime traveling to see the former president sleepingly nod his head and openly bash Cohen, Trump's former lawyer and fixer.
Then several of them returned tonight for a session by the insufferable members Rep. James Comer (R-KY) and Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD). They along with a handful of House Judiciary Committees members held a vote on Garland's fate.
It got heated between the insufferable Luna, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and fellow members Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
The hearing got off to a rocky start regarding why everyone was meeting — committee members were discussing whether to hold Garland in contempt — and why so late in the day. Greene asked committee Democrats if any of them was employing Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter, alluding to the New York hush money trial former President Donald Trump faces.
Anna Paulina Luna and Lauren Boebert had a long day of being total drama queens.
Crockett responded by asking what that had to do with Garland, asking Greene if she knew what they were meeting for. "I think your fake eyelashes are messing up your reading," Greene shot back.
Greene’s comment angered Rep. Alexandria Oscasio-Cortez (D-NY), who demanded that Greene’s words be struck from the record.
“Are your feelings hurt?” Greene asked Oscasio-Cortez.
“Oh baby girl … don’t even play,” Oscasio-Cortez said.
The exchange derailed the meeting for a half hour.
Also I seen the insufferable "thought police officer" Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) in a rare moment of unity. Moskowitz voted to censure Tlaib after she criticized Israel as an apartheid ethnostate.
Anyway, Greene took aim a Crockett's blackness by calling out her eyelashes. It comes after Crockett referred to Trump supporters as well as Greene as deplorable. Crockett called her a "blonde bad built butch body."
When Crockett smiled after her remark, and a shouting match ensued. Luna told the Texas Democrat to calm down.
"Don't tell me to calm down," Crockett demanded. "Because if I come and talk shit about her, y'all are going to have a problem."
Now if the two ever got into a physical altercation, House members could expel them.
Crocodile tears and hate got a disgraced military official out.
Democracy is on the downslide. Texas is one of the leading states that has a democracy decline. Its governor, Greg Abbott is a paraplegic who uses a wheelchair after a severe fall from a roof when he was in his 30s. He went from being the state's attorney general to now the long term Republican governor. In the state of Texas, there are no term limits and Abbott could be governor as long as voters approve of him.
As with Texas, it's a growing Hispanic population. Of the 36.3 million residents about 48% of the population is Hispanic White (not caucasian). The state has 36 U.S. Representatives, two senators and a handful of state leaders who often become the news.
Abbott being one of the most vocal of far right politicians is proud of driving Democrats nuts. He is sending migrants to Democratic cities. He also is defying federal authorities and the federal courts. The issue with illegal immigration falls on the U.S. government.
When they apprehend immigrants who enter the U.S., they are vetted, fingerprinted, and given shelter. They go through a long term, grueling and expensive process to at least obtain asylum or at least a green card.
They want to escape the dangers of authoritarianism and drug cartels. They want to help build America and take on the challenges we face too.
Abbott and Republicans are strictly against illegal immigration and asylum seekers.
They don't want to lose their grip on their power. They actually believe that immigrations will eventually become Democratic voters. That's why they are trying to pass already on the book laws to making voting more stricter and punish Americans who violate them.
Project 2025 is happening as we speak.
On this stunt of sending migrants to Democratic cities. It is human trafficking and an inhumane act of cruelty.
New York City mayor Eric Adams, Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson, Washington, DC mayor Muriel Bowser and San Francisco mayor London Breed are targets of Abbott's stunts. The mayors are African American and Abbott is a homely white privilege asshole.
On Tuesday, Abbott decided to stick to Black Lives Matter and pro Palestinian protesters.
He pardons a former U.S. Army Sergeant who murdered an armed protester.
Daniel Perry was found guilty by a Travis County jury last year in the murder of Garrett Foster and sentenced to 25 years in prison. At the same time, Abbott made clear that he would like to pardon Perry and asked the Board of Pardons and Paroles to consider Perry's case.
The board offered a unanimous recommendation on Thursday to pardon Perry, and Abbott signed the declaration. Perry was released from prison shortly after.
Travis County District Attorney José Garza condemned the pardon, saying the board and Abbott "made a mockery of our legal system."
"Their actions are contrary to the law and demonstrate that there are two classes of people in this state where some lives matter and some lives do not," Garza said Thursday in a statement. "They have sent a message to Garrett Foster’s family, to his partner, and to our community that his life does not matter."
He added that it also sent a message to community members who gave up their time to be on the grand jury and trial jury that their service "does not matter."
Perry encountered a group of protesters in downtown Austin on July 25, 2020, roughly 70 miles from where he was based in Fort Hood, police said. The group was demonstrating against racial injustice and police brutality in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, a Black man who was killed weeks earlier by a Minnesota police officer.
Foster was taking part in the protest and legally carrying a semiautomatic rifle when he approached the intersection where Perry was in his car. Perry shot Foster from the vehicle with a handgun.
Police said Perry told them that Foster, an Air Force veteran, had pointed the rifle at him and he acted in self-defense. Abbott argued that Perry should have been exempt from prosecution under Texas' "stand your ground" law.
Garrett Foster died protecting his fiancee and Black Lives Matter protesters.
Prosecutors used prior social media posts and text messages from Perry to portray him as a racist at trial, and argued he simply could have driven away without firing his weapon. Witnesses also testified that they never saw Foster raise his firearm at Perry.
Perry was convicted of murder, but acquitted of a second charge, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The governor's pardon Thursday will restore Perry's rights as if he were never convicted, including the right to own firearms.
Texas' Department of Criminal Justice confirmed Perry was released from prison following the pardon.
Clint Broden, Perry's attorney, said in a statement that the circumstances of this case have "always been tragic" but that the evidence supported Perry's account of self-defense. The lawyer accused Garza of suppressing evidence that would have supported Perry's case.
"The Board of Pardons and Paroles undertook an independent and extensive review of the case," Broden said. "In particular, it interviewed the police detective who had previously determined, after a thorough investigation, that Mr. Perry had acted in self-defense when confronted with an angry crowd and a person with an assault rifle in the low ready position."
He added that Perry and his family thank the board for its careful review.
I know I am frustrated with President Joe Biden and his support for Israel. But I am more frustrated with our lawmakers traveling outside their districts and states to support former president Donald J. Trump or Israeli leaders. Our taxpayer money should not go for any Republican trip to Manhattan Supreme Court. Our taxpayer money should not be going to the aapartheid ethnostate of Israel.
Abbott and many other Republicans are plotting for the Project 2025. They will unite with Trump to push forth more authoritarianism.
Our country can't afford another Trump presidency. Our country can't support another American president loyal to Israeli interests. Biden, Trump, Abbott, Congress, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and the junk food media need to stop supporting Israel.
NewsNation could end up like al Jazeera if they report on Israel's atrocities.
Social media sites like TikTok expose the lies of Israel. Congress and the president passed a law requiring it to divest to an American investor or be banned. The Congress is trying to pass a resolution redefining antisemitism which includes punishments or sanctions towards Americans. The U.S. is downsliding in democracy as more Republicans are no longer willing to accept the results of an election. The Democrats are losing grip on their base. More Democratic leaning influencers on TikTok and X are feuding with one another over Israel.
The Biden supporters are becoming insufferable. They continue to dismiss protesters.
Democratic lawmakers and Hillary Clinton are examples of protesters.
Israel has been a thorn in President Joe Biden's side and it appears that he is no where close to removing it. Even if it cost him the presidency, Americans strongly disapprove of Biden's support for the fascist ethnostate of Israel.
The junk food media here in the United States has limited access to journalism when covering Israel. They must have their reports cleared with Israel before they report them.
Nexstar Media Group which owns NewsNation is demanding Israel grant them access to the Gaza Strip. The network wants to see the evidence of crimes committed by Hamas and have direct proof of Israel's allegations. The country will likely ignore the request.
NewsNation agrees and sent a letter requesting access. Why? Evidence. There is no way a conflict of this scale would take place without an honest assessment from the field, and I have to be honest, I understand why the IDF and Israeli politicians would be concerned about people seeing what they are doing, but this is just another reason for people to see what they are doing. They also fear that they may harm journalists, as has happened in the past. But it’s not their choice. This is the choice of a free media and it is a choice we make freely. So I encourage you, if you care about seeing the reality on the ground, figuring out how bad the suffering is, what the real numbers are, or getting close to it, let me know you want to see more reporting on the realities on the ground. Players pay attention to social media. Your voice will be heard.
If the reports are critical of Israel, the country will ban access and strip the reporters and editors of their property. The White House expressed "concern" about it.
Never "outrage" or sanctions towards the state Israel and its crackdowns on the free press.
The Israeli government passed a law that bans networks deemed a "threat" to the safety of the state. Al Jazeera was banned from Israel which led to condemnation from the international press.
Under the provisions of the “Bill for Preventing a Foreign Broadcasting Organization from Harming State Security,” the government can halt broadcasts by the foreign channel, shutter its offices, issue directives to take down its website if hosted on Israeli servers, or seize the equipment used to provide the channel’s content for a period of 45 days with possible extension.
Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, wasted no time in leveraging the newly enacted bill, declaring on his X platform on Monday an immediate directive to halt broadcasting by Al Jazeera TV from Israel.
Chris Cuomo, Elisabeth Vargas, Leland Vittert and Geraldo Rivera doesn't know the risks of being a journalist.
“The terrorist channel Al Jazeera will no longer broadcast from Israel. I intend to act immediately under the new law to stop the channel from operating,” Netanyahu wrote.
The Qatari state-owned news TV network, as he stressed, “harmed Israel’s security, actively participated in the October 7 massacre, and incited against IDF soldiers.”
Netanyahu’s Likud colleague and his Communication Minister, Shlomo Karhi, supported the initiative, accusing Al Jazeera of serving as “a propaganda organ for Hamas,” a claim that has been refuted by Al Jazeera and many media watchdog organizations.
Al Jazeera Media Network swiftly responded, emphasizing that Netanyahu’s statements are false and constitute incitement against the safety of its journalists worldwide.
“Al Jazeera Media Network condemns these statements and sees them as nothing but a dangerous ludicrous lie,” the network said in a statement.
It stressed that for the safety of its global staff and facilities, it holds Netanyahu accountable. He could not find any justifications for his ongoing attacks on Al Jazeera and press freedom except to present new lies and inflammatory slanders against the Network and the rights of its employees, it added.
The latest move, according to Al Jazeera, is just one in a series of systematic Israeli attacks designed to silence the network. These assaults include the assassination of its correspondent Shireen Abu Akleh, the killing of journalists Samer AbuDaqqa and Hamza AlDahdouh, the bombing of its Gaza office, deliberate targeting of Al Jazeera journalists and their families, and the arrest and intimidation of its field correspondents.
The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), based in New York and dedicated to promoting press freedom worldwide, has urged the Israeli government to refrain from shutting down Al Jazeera’s Jerusalem bureau. They emphasize the importance of allowing the media to report freely on events unfolding in Israel and Gaza amidst the current conflict.
“CPJ is deeply concerned by new legislation authorizing the Netanyahu government to shutter Al-Jazeera in Israel,” according to CPJ’s program director, Carlos Martínez de la Serna.
He emphasized that such legislation fosters a climate of self-censorship and hostility towards the press, a trend that has intensified since the outbreak of the Israel-Gaza war.
The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) also called on the Israeli government to refrain from closing down Al Jazeera's Jerusalem bureau and to cease using “national security” as a pretext for censoring critical media.
The IFJ voiced its concern over the Israeli government’s increasing tendency to restrict press freedom and limit journalists’ ability to work in Israel, noting a “worrying trend that has only escalated since the start of the war in Gaza in October 2023.”
IFJ General Secretary, Antony Bellanger, emphasized that Netanyahu’s plan to ban Al Jazeera would deal a severe blow to media diversity and the public’s right to information.
“The actions of the Israeli government are unfitting of a democracy,” he concluded.
It also adds more criminal indictments against Israel. Several countries have indicated they will hold Israel accountable if the United States continues to block sanctions.
The former president and current president agreed to televised debates. I thought Donald J. Trump and Joe Biden were not going to debate each other. I guess they had a change of heart.
They agreed in May 2024 to participate in two debates outside the CPD process (on CNN on June 27 and ABC News on September 10), breaking a longstanding tradition of debates organized under the auspices of the CPD. The CNN debate will be "open to any presidential candidate who consistently polls above 15 percent in approved public surveys and is on enough state ballots to win a majority of electoral college votes."
The quick agreement on the timetable followed the Democrat’s announcement that he would not participate in fall presidential debates sponsored by the nonpartisan commission that has organized them for more than three decades. Biden’s campaign instead proposed that media outlets directly organize the debates between the presumptive Democratic and Republican nominees.
The debate is so unusually early on the political calendar that neither Biden nor Trump will have formally accepted his party’s nomination.
Hours later, Biden said he had accepted an invitation from CNN, adding, “Over to you, Donald.” Trump, who had insisted he would debate Biden anytime and anyplace, said on Truth Social he’d be there, too, adding, “Let’s get ready to Rumble!!!” Soon after that, they agreed to the second debate on ABC.
“Trump says he’ll arrange his own transportation,” Biden wrote on X, working in a jab about the perks of incumbency. “I’ll bring my plane, too. I plan on keeping it for another four years.”
The swiftness with which the matchups came together reflects how each of the two unpopular candidates thinks he can get the better of his opponent in a head-to-head showdown. Trump and his team are convinced the debates will exacerbate voters’ concerns about Biden’s age and competence, while Biden’s team believes Trump’s often-incendiary rhetoric will remind voters of why they voted him out of the White House four years ago.
The presidential debates, always a critical moment on the political calendar, could be particularly important in a year when voters are underwhelmed with their choices and have expressed concerns about the candidates’ advanced ages — Biden is 81 and Trump 77.
Sprightly on social media, the rivals traded barbs — each claiming victory the last time they faced off in 2020.
“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020, since then he hasn’t shown up for a debate,” Biden said in a post on X. “Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again. Well, make my day, pal.”
Trump, for his part, said Biden was the “WORST debater I have ever faced - He can’t put two sentences together!”
The June debate is likely to cap a busy and unsettled stretch, following the likely conclusion of Trump’s criminal hush money trial in New York, foreign trips by Biden to France and Italy, the end of the Supreme Court’s term, and the expected start of two criminal trials for the president’s son, Hunter Biden.
CNN said that its debate would be held at 9 p.m. ET in its Atlanta studios with no audience present in a break from recent precedent. Moderators will be anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, CNN said. ABC did not offer details on where its event would be held, but the network said it would be moderated by anchors David Muir and Linsey Davis. Disagreements about moderators and rules were some of the questions that prompted the formation of the Commission on Presidential Debates in 1987.
The two campaigns and television networks had held weeks of informal talks on ways to circumvent the commission’s grip on presidential debates following years of complaints and perceived slights, according to two people familiar with the matter who spoke about internal discussions on condition of anonymity.
Biden’s campaign had proposed excluding third-party candidates, such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., from the debates outright. Under the debate commission’s rules, Kennedy or other third-party candidates could qualify if they secured ballot access sufficient to claim 270 Electoral Votes and polled at 15% or higher in a selection of national surveys.
Both CNN and ABC announced the same qualification threshold, saying candidates will need to reach at least 15% in four separate national polls of registered or likely voters that meet their standards.
In response, Kennedy accused Biden and Trump of “trying to exclude me from their debate because they are afraid I would win.” He said, “Keeping viable candidates off the debate stage undermines democracy.”
The debates will be the first televised general election matchups to be hosted by individual networks. The 1960 debates, which helped show the power of the medium to influence public opinion, were hosted jointly by the leading networks of the day. Before the commission was formed in 1987, the presidential debates of 1976, 1980 and 1984 were organized by the League of Women Voters.
Plans for a vice presidential debate have yet to be announced.
Trump has been pushing for more and earlier debates, arguing voters should be able to see the two men face off well before early voting begins in September. He has even proposed a debate outside the Manhattan courthouse where he is currently on trial. He also has been taunting Biden with an empty lectern at some of his rallies.
In a memorandum to Biden campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon on Wednesday, Trump senior campaign advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles challenged Biden to agree to at least two additional debates, suggesting one be held each month, with events in June, July, August and September, in addition to a vice presidential debate.
“Additional dates will allow voters to have maximum exposure to the records and future visions of each candidate,” they wrote.
Trump later posted on Truth Social that he had agreed to a third debate, this one hosted by Fox.
“Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that I hereby accept debating Crooked Joe Biden on FoxNews. The date will be Wednesday, October 2nd. The Hosts will be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. Thank you, DJT!” he wrote.
O’Malley Dillon responded with a statement accusing Trump of having “a long history of playing games with debates: complaining about the rules, breaking those rules, pulling out at the last minute, or not showing up at all.”
“No more games. No more chaos, no more debate about debates. We’ll see Donald Trump on June 27th in Atlanta – if he shows up,” she wrote.
In an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt Wednesday morning, Trump had raised his own doubts about whether Biden would show, and offered his own suggestions. He said the debates “should go two hours” with both men standing, and he also pushed for larger venues.
“It’s just more exciting,” he said.
Biden’s campaign has long held a grudge against the nonpartisan commission, accusing it of failing to evenly apply its rules during the 2020 Biden-Trump matchups — most notably when it didn’t enforce its COVID-19 testing rules on Trump and his entourage.
O’Malley Dillon on Wednesday sent a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates to say that Biden’s campaign objected to its proposed debate dates in the fall, which would come after some Americans begin to vote, repeating a complaint also voiced by the Trump campaign. She also voiced frustrations over past rule violations and the commission’s insistence on holding the debates before a live audience.
“The debates should be conducted for the benefit of the American voters, watching on television and at home — not as entertainment for an in-person audience with raucous or disruptive partisans and donors,” she wrote.
There also was little love lost for the commission from Trump, who objected to technical issues at his first debate with Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016 and was upset when a 2020 debate with Biden was canceled after the Republican came down with COVID-19. The Republican National Committee had already promised not to work with the commission on the 2024 contests.
The Trump campaign issued a statement on May 1 that said of the debate schedule offered by the commission: “This is unacceptable.”
The commission said in a Wednesday statement, “The American public deserves substantive debates from the leading candidates for president and vice president.” It said its mission is “to ensure that such debates reliably take place and reach the widest television, radio and streaming audience.”
A Florida imam may lose his dental license because he criticized Israel on social media.
The governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis is a failed presidential candidate and pretty damn insufferable as a person. He is a member of the " though police".
He wants to allow free speech for far right propaganda but punishes those who are progressive or anti-Israel. The U.S. is dwindling in popularity as they continue to defend the fascist ethnostate of Israel.
The Arab American and Muslim vote is now up for grabs. They hate the fact that President Joe Biden is still backing Israel. They are still upset over former president Donald J. Trump and his attempts to ban Arab travelers, bans on Muslim preaching and calls for investigations of pro Palestinian protesters.
Biden is losing favor because he promised to listen. He broke that promise.
Newsweek claims that a Florida dentist who did a spiritual which he criticized "tyrannical Jews" and said Israel is bordering towards Nazism is facing calls for his removal of his medical license.
Dr. Fadi Kablawi called for the murder of Jews and also called the current Israeli regime "worse than the Nazis."
"Oh Allah, annihilate the tyrannical Jews," Kablawi is heard saying in the sermon, as translated by Shirion Collective, a pro-Israel account on X, formerly Twitter. "Oh Allah, annihilate them, for they are no match for you. Oh Allah, annihilate the brothers of apes and pigs."
Kablawi is an imam at Masjid As Sunnah An Nabawiyyah.
There are 42 states that have on the books a unlawful act. The states can punish Americans who criticize Israel. The Israeli-backed International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance had defined any criticism which interprets Israel as a colonialist state, an apartheid ethnostate, a country on stolen land, a country that violates UN and international law or someone calling for the destruction of Israel is anti-semitic. It also notes the conspiracy of Jews running media, government and political thought as anti-semitic.
So this is a thought crime.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) are foreign agents of the Israeli government. They have a powerful grip over American politicians. These groups have pushed propaganda to stifle college protests and Muslim leaders from making criticism of Israel mainstream.
MEMRI was responsible for the propaganda. This outlet is responsible for the videos being put on social media. The group also misinterprets remarks and put selectively edited videos online.
Again it is a free country.
This fat idiot from Florida hides behind religion and his own bigotry.
Florida state Representative Randy Fine, chairman of the Florida House Health and Human Services Committee, submitted a letter to Dr. Jose R. Mellado, chairman of the Florida Board of Dentistry, requesting the suspension of Kablawi's dental license and an investigation into his practice.
Newsweek obtained a copy of the letter, which reads in part:
"North Miami, where dentist Kablawi practices, contains many Jewish residents, none of whom could be considered safe in Imam Kablawi's dental chair, where he could personally implement what he is asking Allah to do. Practicing medicine in Florida is a privilege—not a right—and as the Chairman of the Florida House Health and Human Services Committee, I call on you to immediately suspend Dr. Kablawi's license and commence a thorough investigation into his practice. The lives of some of Florida's Jews could hang in the balance," Fine stated.
In a phone interview with Newsweek, Fine, the lone Jewish Republican in the Florida State House, said he has been contacted by some of Kablawi's Jewish patients.
"His office is in a very Jewish part of the state," Fine said. "I've already heard from folks who have said, 'Wait, this guy's my dentist,' and now they're scared. He shouldn't be practicing medicine. This is a clear violation of the do-no-harm principle."
Fine shared an email with Newsweek, written by Dr. Mellado after receiving Fine's letter, which was sent to Florida Board of Dentistry staff members.
"I am deeply concerned with this inflammatory rhetoric and the potential danger it poses to Jewish and other ethnic groups," the email stated. "It is our utmost responsibility to protect and ensure the safety of the citizens in Florida. Please, review and act accordingly to protect the patients and the public in Florida."
Newsweek contacted Kablawi's office on Monday afternoon for comment. This article will be updated with any statements provided.
Fine's letter also cites additional statements made by Dr. Kablawi during lectures at the north Miami mosque.
On March 8, Kablawi said, as translated by the MEMRI, "Oh Allah, bring annihilation upon the accursed Zionists."
Just over one month after the October 7 Hamas attack against Israel, Kablawi stated in a sermon, also translated by MEMRI, "Oh Allah, show us the black days that you inflict upon the Jews."
Israel's war crimes in Gaza, sparked by Hamas' attack that killed 1,200 IDF soliders in southern Israel, has left much of the Strip in ruins, killing more than 34,000 Palestinians, according to the Associated Press, citing the Gaza Health Ministry.
Amid the ongoing conflict, pro-Palestinian students across the U.S. have protested the war, demanding their schools divest financially from Israeli entities.
Police have arrested more than 2,000 people nationwide in recent campus protests. The demonstrations have expanded globally, including in France and Canada.
Newsweek left out some details about Fine. He is a bigot.
In 2018, Fine demanded that venues in Miami and Tampa cancel scheduled concerts with the New Zealand singer Lorde because she had previously cancelled a concert in Israel after being urged to do so by activists from the BDS movement. According to Fine, letting Lorde play would violate an anti-BDS law that the state enacted in 2016. The concerts went on as scheduled.
In April 2019, Fine called Paul Halpern, a Jewish constituent of his, a "Judenrat" for supporting an event that discussed the Israeli-Palestinian situation. Halpern stated, "That's the worst thing anyone can say to me. I'm someone who’s been a victim of anti-Semitism much of my life, and there’s no worse name you can call a Jewish person than 'Judenrat.' It tells me about the character of the person who said it, especially since he doesn’t know me."
In May 2021, amid the ongoing crisis in Israel and Palestine, Fine made several derogatory posts and comments on his Facebook and Twitter pages regarding Palestinians, including a celebration of the Israeli army's bombing of the Gaza Strip.
So once again, if you're upset over a dentist criticizing the apartheid ethnostate of Israel while it is conducting an illegal occupation, numerous war crimes and literally committing a genocide, then you are the one who should lose your job or freedom.
President Joe Biden, Donald J. Trump, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Congress should all be fired from their jobs. Their support for Israel will be a deciding factor in the 2024 election.
The 39th President of the United States is currently in home hospice care. It is confirmed by his grandson, that James Earl Carter, Jr. is going pass away at any moment.
Jimmy Carter is by far one of most the most humble American presidents in modern history.
“(My grandfather) is doing OK,” Jason Carter said at a mental health forum named in honor of his grandmother, the late former first lady Rosalynn Carter, at the Carter Center. “He has been in hospice, as you know, for almost a year and a half now, and he really is, I think, coming to the end that, as I’ve said before, there’s a part of this faith journey that is so important to him, and there’s a part of that faith journey that you only can live at the very end and I think he has been there in that space.”
Jimmy Carter, now 99, became the oldest living president in history after George H.W. Bush died in 2018 at the age of 94. He has survived metastatic brain cancer, liver cancer and a number of health scares, including brain surgery after a fall in 2019. He entered hospice care in February 2023 after a series of hospital stays and made a rare public appearance to attend his wife’s memorial service back in November.
“My grandmother’s passing was a difficult moment for all of us, including my grandfather,” Jason Carter said Tuesday. But, he added, “The outpouring of love and support that we, as a family, received from people in this room and from the rest of the world was so remarkable and meaningful to us. And it really turned that whole process into a celebration.”
Rosalynn Carter made mental health advocacy one of her key areas of focus as Georgia and America’s first lady. In 1977, Carter made it her signature cause, notably through the creation of the President’s Commission on Mental Health. Her efforts resulted in increased research funding, broader treatment access and innovative approaches to mental health care.
Jason Carter said that moments with his grandfather over the past year reminded him of the mental illness aspects related to caregiving, another cause his grandmother championed.
If former president Carter does pass away, President Joe Biden, former president Donald J. Trump, former president Barack Obama, former president George W. Bush and former president Bill Clinton will be notified. Vice President Kamala Harris, former vice president Mike Pence, former vice president Dick Cheney, former vice president Al Gore and former vice president Dan Quayle will be notified as well.
While the Dayton, Ohio outdoor mall is not closing anytime soon, the bank foreclosure paints a grim outcome for the nearly 20 year old shopping complex The Greene.
I read reports that The Greene, an outdoor lifestyle shopping center in Beavercreek had defaulted on bank loans. In a 330-page complaint filed Friday in Greene County Common Pleas Court, the bank said The Greene Town Center LLC borrowed $137,250,000 on Nov. 22, 2013, from Citigroup Global Markets Realty Corp., a loan that was later transferred to Wells Fargo.
The affluent areas of Beavercreek, Bellbrook, Kettering, Oakwood, Centerville, and Springboro are the core market for the shopping complex.
The co-owner and developer, Steiner + Associates, is known for creating similar town centers such as the Easton Town Center in Columbus as well as other centers in the Cincinnati-Newport, Milwaukee and Kansas City regions.
I don't go to the malls much. I haven't since the pandemic or since my previous employer.
I tend to be more of a homebody and workaholic.
It is a damn shame that all the money going to Israel could be used to help struggling businesses in the United States. Hey, who should be blamed for this?
President Joe Biden, Gov. Mike DeWine, Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH), Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) usually come to mind.
But guessing, some Americans will blame bus riders, shoplifters, young Black teens and online outlets like Amazon for the collapse of malls.
Walmart, Dollar Tree, Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS and Family Dollar are closing locations left and right. It is a damn shame these companies can build multiple stores, drive small businesses away only to leave after their duration expires.
Our taxpayer money pays for their trips outside their state and districts.
I am not following much of the hush money trial of Donald J. Trump. The presumptive Republican nominee and former president is facing 34 felony charges in New York.
Trump as well as President Joe Biden both have deeply concerning flaws. Biden thanks to his "ironclad" support of Israel could lose to Trump. He and the Democrats are hypocrites when it comes to protecting democracy. Republicans want to ban the very ways of life.
Democrats want to slowly ban the very ways of life.
Since Biden signed off the TikTok divestment or permanent ban bill, I have no interest in protecting him or the Democrats come this fall. I certainly find no interest in Trump or Republicans either. They can't govern or handle a crisis.
Trump's hush money trial is still an ongoing issue. If he is convicted on at least five of the 34 charges, he could face 20 years in the iron college.
J.D. Vance decided to go to Trump's trial instead of visiting Ohio residents still reeling from tornado outbreaks in April and May.
It involves Trump using campaign funds through a shell company to pay off operatives who had access to embarrassing stories. The National Enquirer and Michael Cohen paid Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels to keep quiet on alleged affairs he had with them.
Those stories were revealed after he won his presidential election in 2016. He was at the cusp of losing when the "grab 'em by the 🐱" came out. He paid Cohen to suppress the stories.
The People of the State of New York v. Donald J. Trump is an ongoing criminal trial against Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States. Trump faces 34 felony charges of falsifying business records with the intent to commit or conceal other crimes relating to payments made to pornographic film actress Stormy Daniels to ensure her silence about an earlier alleged affair between them. The Manhattan District Attorney accused Trump of falsifying these business records with the intent to violate federal campaign finance limits, unlawfully influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and commit tax fraud. The charges carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison if Trump is convicted on five or more counts.
Trump employed Cohen until May 2018, a year after the special counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections began. In August 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to eight counts including campaign-finance violations, tax fraud, and bank fraud. Cohen said he violated campaign-finance laws at Trump's direction "for the principal purpose of influencing" the 2016 presidential election. In November 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to U.S. congressional committees about efforts to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.
In December 2018, Cohen was sentenced to three years in federal prison and ordered to pay a $50,000 fine. In February 2019, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, disbarred him from practicing law in the state. In May 2019, he reported to the federal prison near Otisville, New York. In November 2021, he completed his sentence.
Are you getting tired of lawmakers not being in their respective states and districts?
In early 2019, Cohen sued the Trump Organization for allegedly failing to reimburse his legal fees; in July 2023, the parties reached a settlement ahead of a planned trial. In early 2023, Trump sued Cohen for allegedly breaching his legal trust; in October 2023, Trump dropped the suit ahead of a planned deposition.
Trump had a few allies in the courtroom.
Far from their respective states, Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) were in New York City giving their support to Trump. They along with Rep. Nicole Milliotokis (R-NY) sat in the courtroom to grimace at Cohen. Milliotakis is six miles from her district. Her district is Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn. She was in Manhattan.
Vance who represent my state is by far one of the laziest. He and Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) both support Israel. They have worked on some bipartisan legislation like the East Palestine train disaster. Overall, Vance is a worthless lawmaker who lives in San Francisco but travels to Cincinnati to represent Ohioans.
Bringing allies to court allowed Trump’s campaign to press his message without violating the gag order. It also gave those allies a high-profile platform to demonstrate loyalty to their party’s presumptive nominee and perhaps audition for higher office.
According to Trump’s campaign, all of his courthouse guests Monday volunteered to appear to support the former president and were not explicitly invited by people affiliated with the campaign. But Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) who was at court with Trump last week, said Monday that he had been invited by Susie Wiles, a senior adviser to Trump’s campaign and also a longtime Florida GOP operative who advised Scott’s 2010 gubernatorial bid.
I am quite tired of lawmakers who never stay in their district or state. They are always doing things that are not relevant to the issues in their state.
The Republicans lawmakers along with a pair of attorneys general, Steve Marshall of Alabama and Brenna Bird of Iowa. Former GOP rival Vivek Ramaswamy, who shuttered his campaign earlier this year but is considered a likely part of a new Trump administration, planned to come to court on Tuesday, according to a spokesman for the entrepreneur.
Vance was once a harsh critic who said he “can’t stomach Trump” and called him “noxious.” Now, he is a close ally who will appear with Trump at an Ohio fundraiser on Wednesday, when the trial will be on break.
Vance posted a thread on the X social platform as he headed to court with the former president, including a missive from the courtroom questioning Cohen’s believability: “Cohen can’t remember how old his son is or how old he was when he started to work for Trump but I’m sure he remembers extremely small details from years ago!”
He also leveled criticism directly at the daughter of Judge Juan M. Merchan, who is overseeing the case. The gag order pertaining to Trump prohibits his critical comments about people affiliated with the case — except for Merchan and District Attorney Alvin Bragg — as well as Merchan’s family members.
The World Boxing Association has confirmed that British debut Sherif Lawal has died after succumbing to injuries sustained in a bout.
Lawal was fighting his first major bout at the Harrow Leisure Centre in a suburb northwest of London when the incident occurred, according to match promoter Warren Boxing Management. The company extended its condolences to Lawal's friends and family in a statement posted to social media.
"Unfortunately during Sherif’s fight, he collapsed and despite the best efforts of the paramedics, he was later pronounced dead," the statement said.
The British Boxing Board of Control also confirmed Lawal's death in a statement on Monday.
"The thoughts of all those involved in Boxing in Great Britain are with them at this difficult time," the board said.
Lawal was 29 years old, according to the BBC.
Additional details on Lawal's death were not provided.
Deaths in the ring are not an uncommon aspect in boxing, a full-contact combat sport. American boxer Patrick Day died after sustaining injuries during a 2019 match in Chicago.
Bout between Sherif and Malam Valera didn't go the way expected.
The New York native was knocked unconscious during the fight's tenth round and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Day slipped into a coma following brain surgery and never regained consciousness.
His opponent, Olympic boxer Charles Conwell, expressed remorse in an open letter to Day while he was comatose.
"I can’t stop thinking about it myself I prayed for you so many times and shedded so many tears because I couldn’t even imagine how my family and friends would feel," Conwell wrote.
Earlier that year, the Russian Boxing Federation announced the death of Maxim Dadashev after he sustained injuries in a match in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Trainer Buddy McGirt had the referee end the fight after the fighter sustained repeated blows.
Dadashev was hospitalized at UM Prince George's Hospital Center with brain swelling shortly after the fight, according to The Associated Press.
Trump "cool" rally at the Wildwood beach. The former president and his morons boast about crowd sizes again.
Crowds sizes are not voter results. Folks travel for hours from different regions to see political candidates. Republicans used to complain about Barack Obama rallies and how his supporters are part of a cult.
Double standards. Republicans push conspiracy theories about crowd sizes and how their support of the former president is not a cult.
The far right is still on this crowd size bullshit. I mean Wildwood, New Jersey is between New York, Philadelphia, Newark, Wilmington and Trenton. Former president Donald J. Trump and his supporters are so worked up over rally sizes. Crowd sizes do not determine elections.
Democratic voters hold their elected leaders accountable. Biden is a testament of that.
He is getting blowback, protest and opposition from his own party. Trump on the other hand, has four criminal indictments, civil trials and lawsuits on the horizon. He is still supported by 90% of the Republicans. A party that claims they're "law and order" while ignore their role in a deadly pandemic, a deadly insurrection and their continuing failure to connect with voters. Trump has a strong base of supporters. Those who didn't go to federal time out for the insurrection are still backing him.
Former New York Giants linebacker (L.T.) Lawrence Taylor was there to endorse Trump.
Lawrence Taylor, a former New York Giants player endorsed Trump. He is a registered sexual offender from Florida.
Internet sleuths found out that Taylor is a TIER I in Offender U. He was arrested for statutory rape of a 16 year old girl who worked as a prostitute. Taylor was arrested for drunk driving and leaving the scene of an accident. His two wives have accused of adultry. One of them was arrested for domestic violence. One drove him to a Florida trap to buy cocaine. He came to practice high or drunk.
Trump embraces this crowd.
Former New York Giants running back Ottis Anderson was also there to endorse Trump as well.
People travel long distances to see Trump. They get tickets online, plan to get to the event early and stay as much as four hours.
Wildwood is a Republican friendly community. It's on an island in southern New Jersey.
Temperatures had to be at 55 to 60 degrees. Pretty cool day for some by the beach.
It has a population of 5,300 residents. Trump and his acolytes claim 80,000 people attended that rally. The current population of Cape May County is 94,000.
Here is 35 unedited minutes showing thousands of MAGA walking out on Trump while he’s still talking. pic.twitter.com/XQC65i1fvC

I will say that Trump pulled in 30,000 supporters. It was not 80,000 or 100,000.
Cape May County is one of the state's least populated and is represented by far right Republican lawmaker Jeff Van Drew. He was previously a conservative Democrat.
Not too many Americans go to political rallies. Not many Americans care about Trump or President Joe Biden for that matter. Many are concerned about their paychecks.
Trump did pull in an impressive number of supporters, minus the protesters.
Trump and Biden are working overtime to prevent protesters from interrupting their events. With Israel, abortion, the economy and engagement being the main issues, both candidates must prove to the American voters that they are capable of leading the country.
Trump is very definition of white privilege. He uses his privilege to escape accountability.
Speaking before tens of thousands of supporters on a chilly beach on the Atlantic coastline, the former president disparaged District Attorney Alvin Bragg's appearance and dismissed the various state and federal charges he faces as a form of political persecution.
"Fat Alvin, corrupt guy," said Trump, who is on trial for allegedly falsifying business records to hide a hush money payment to a porn star before the 2016 presidential election that he won.
Trump also took aim at the trial judge, Justice Juan Merchan, accusing both men of working at the behest of President Joe Biden, his Democratic rival in this year's presidential rematch - an allegation for which there is no evidence.
"They're doing the bidding for crooked Joe Biden. This is all being done by crooked Joe Biden."
The New York case is one of four state and federal criminal trials Trump faces and may be the only one to be held before the Nov. 5 election. He has pleaded not guilty in all of them, portraying them as politically motivated.
Trump spent his time attacking pro Palestinians protesters, Chris Christie, Democrats and other random noise.
