Tonight, Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio, the Republican vice presidential nominee will debate Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, the Democratic vice presidential nominee on CBS.
Norah O'Donnell and Margret Brennan will moderate the only vice presidential debate between the two. Former president Donald J. Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris will be watching their running mate go to bat for them.
It will be the same as the ABC News Debate.

Walz will be grilled on issues and his military service.
Vance will be grilled on issues, his military service and his previous criticism of Trump.
Israel, Ukraine, the economy, protecting democracy, inflation, immigration, the legacies of Joe Biden and Donald J. Trump, Hurricane Helene, Springfield, Ohio, the assassination attempt on Trump, Jan. 6, voter rights, availability of the vice president, the Supreme Court, military spending, education, abortion rights and a hodge podge of what comes to mind.
