Democrats believe they have the potential to defeat Colorado Republicans Ken Buck and Lauren Boebert. They want Georgia Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene to do all the talking. |
Facing a potential strong Democratic challenger in 2024, Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) warns the Republicans House members about going overboard with impeachment against President Joe Biden. It has earned the ire of Georgia's most controversial Republican lawmaker.
Buck is the latest Republican to be feuding with do nothing lawmaker Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
Greene has feuded with Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO).
Greene has spent more time outside her district and doing things that are not delivering results to her constituents. Despite all that, she is looking likely to run for reelection and carry the district with high results.
A moment of bipartisan agreement on the show today.

GOP Congressman @RepKenBuck: “I agree with Dan [Goldman] that there is not a strong connection at this point between the evidence on Hunter Biden and any evidence connecting the President.” pic.twitter.com/FFSYblNGor
.@RepKenBuck: "Marjorie filed articles of impeachment on President Biden before he was sworn into office... So the idea that she is now the expert on impeachment, or that she is someone who should set the timing on impeachment, is absurd." pic.twitter.com/3ive3q0lhO

he does not support President Trump.

Ken Buck has also been vocally against impeachment inquiry on Joe Biden, shockingly completely unwilling to even ask the question in spite of the overwhelming evidence proving Joe Biden abused his power..

I am 1 of only 2 members of congress that went in the DC Jail in 2021, @replouiegohmert is the other.

I witnessed unusually cruel punishment of J6 defendants.
I can personally vouch the grave concerns expressed by Mr. Watkins and supported by @cologop are true.

He was also appalled at the conditions we found pretrial J6 defendants in.

To our horror, all the things we had heard turned out to be true.
Later I led the Oversight committee to another visit to the DC jail again.
Neither time did Ken Buck go with us, ..

Draining the swamp means impeaching criminal politicians, stopping a communist weaponized government, and objecting to stolen elections.

Not apologizing for communists abusing their power to persecute their political enemies.

Buck facing a redistricting that made his district competitive is more concerned about the Republicans having trouble messaging and obsessing with conspiracy theories.
Buck a member of the Freedom Caucasians voted to remove Greene from the group after she called Boebert (another do nothing) a "little bitch" after the two spat during another attempt at impeaching Biden. Greene was angered at Boebert and do nothing Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) for stalling the nomination of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for House Speaker. Greene and Gaetz patched up their feud for now.
Buck blasted Greene on Thursday and ridiculed what he sees as her clear lack of understanding of the U.S. Constitution. Buck joined George Brauchler on his Denver-based talk radio show called The George Show the day after Greene attacked Buck for defending the treatment of Jan. 6th defendants and striking down some false claims of Americans being held without due process.
Brauchler asked Buck, a former prosecutor and Freedom Caucus member, about Greene’s response and the treatment of Jan. 6 defendants and he doubled down on his argument that their treatment has been both fair and consistent with the law.
The radio then noted that Greene is refusing to vote to fund the government unless Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office is defunded. “Do you feel similarly about that issue as you do to de-funding the FBI and the ATF and the DEA, etc.?” Brauchler then asked, given that Buck is opposed to defending federal law enforcement.
Greene barely spends time in her district. |
“So, George, when when I was teaching law school, I learned and taught certain constitutional principles. When Marjorie Taylor Greene was teaching CrossFit, she learned a whole different set of values, evidently,” Buck replied, adding:
"Because my idea of what this country should be like is based on the Constitution, and she sees the world differently. She’s criticized me for, you know, voting to certify the election in 2020. The Constitution says Congress shall count the votes. Doesn’t say Congress may overturn an election result. It doesn’t say Congress can do whatever the heck it wants with this election. ‘Shall count the votes,’ that’s what the Constitution says. In her CrossFit class maybe they didn’t cover that."
"And it also, the Constitution, also says that, you know, the impeachment of a president shall be based on treason, high crimes, and misdemeanors. It doesn’t say it’s a political exercise and we hope the Senate does the right thing."
Brauchler agreed interjecting, “Right.”
Buck who has recently come out against an impeachment inquiry for President Joe Biden at this time, concluded by taking another shot at Greene and her prolific online presence.
“And so I get tired of people, one of the beauties of Congress is you bring 435 people together from different backgrounds and you try to reach a consensus on issues. When you’ve got people who care more about their social media accounts than they do about the Constitution, we have a real problem in Congress,” Buck concluded.
