Biden got a little bit of good in his step. |
President Joe Biden will call the state and territorial governors to layout his agenda for the next two years. He will see a lot of new faces in the new year. Some of these governors are slated to be extremely polarizing figures. Three of them are considering a run for president in 2024.
There are 13 women who are governors. The District of Columbia's mayor is somewhat a governor since the federal district is a government operation similar to states and territories. There are three Black governors. There are three openly LGBTQ governors. There will be 23 Democrats amd 27 Republicans in governorships.

Governors play a pivotal role in the U.S. and the functions of America. They are the executives who help their respective state and territory shine.
I am already seeing the noise who may give Biden a headache. Now 2024 potential Republicans rivals who will face the wrath of Washed Up 45.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a controversial figure. She is the daughter of former president candidate and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee. She served as the second press secretary under Washed Up 45. She announced she has cancer. I doubt she will run for president given she won her governor's race. But talk is talk.
Ron DeSantis easily won Florida and Democrats lost the former swing state. The state government is 2 to 1 Republican and it appears DeSantis will bring culture wars to a new level in Florida. Washed Up 45 is trying to sabotage him as he is thinking about a run for president.
Glenn Youngkin ran as a centrist but ended being Virginia's most polarizing governor in 15 years. He will only serve one term but his ambitions will not stop once he is out. His win has folks believing he will jump into the 2024 presidential race. Washed Up 45 said that "Young Kin" sounds pretty Chinese.
Chris Sununu, Kristi Noem, Nikki Haley, Ted Cruz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo and Tom Cotton are considering the possibility of running in 2024.
