Steve King got an orange tan like Trump. The white nationalist lawmaker is facing heat yet again. |
However, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) are the real issue in the United States. The two lawmakers were banned from entry into Israel because of Donald J. Trump and his friendship with Benjamin Netanyahu.
The controversy has reached a point where more Democrats are calling for an impeachment hearing and I am certainly devoted to seeing this "son of a bitch" impeached.
Now back to the issue at hand. The Republican Party's resident bigot is now causing more problems for the leadership.
Will Israel ban him too?
Steven Arnold King is an American politician and former businessman. He is an avowed white nationalist who is currently the Republican congressman from the 4th Congressional District in Iowa.
King represents Sioux City, Ames, Fort Dodge, Carroll and Kiron.
He is a very controversial member of the House of Representatives. He is anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ, anti-Muslim and typical concern troll when it comes to "whitesplaining."
Now he's the expert on rape and incest. He spoke to a group of conservative activists in suburban Des Moines and guess what happened? He went there.
King told the Westside Conservative Club on Wednesday that humanity might not exist if not for rape and incest.
"What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled those people out that were products of rape and incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?" he said at the event in Urbandale, Iowa.
"Considering all the wars and all the rapes and pillages taken place and whatever happened to culture after society? I know I can't certify that I'm not a part of a product of that."
The Des Moines Register reported that the Republican was defending his position of not allowing exceptions for rape and incest in the anti-abortion legislation he tried to pass in Congress. Republican leadership had prevented the bills he sponsored on banning abortions from advancing through the House, despite GOP support for the measures, King said.
Just because a conception happened in bad circumstances doesn't mean the result isn't a person, argued King, who is Catholic. Other members of Congress who co-sponsored the legislation agreed with him, he said.
"I’ve got 174 people who say they don’t want exceptions for rape and incest because they understand it is not the baby’s fault, to abort the baby, because of the sin of the father, and maybe sometimes the sin of the mother too," he said. "And so I refused to do that."
It triggered a backlash from top Republican and known bigot Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).
Today’s comments by @RepSteveKingIA are appalling and bizarre. As I’ve said before, it’s time for him to go. The people of Iowa’s 4th congressional district deserve better.— Liz Cheney (@Liz_Cheney) August 14, 2019
Of course the 2020 candidates got a dig in.
My friend @JDScholten is standing up and fighting back against Steve King, and he needs all of our help — because no matter where you live, you know there’s no place for Steve King’s racism, bigotry, and hatred in Congress.— Beto O'Rourke (@BetoORourke) August 14, 2019

Iowans have long deserved better than Steve King and his hateful, insulting words. He should resign.— Cory Booker (@CoryBooker) August 14, 2019
We can show him it's time to go by donating to the guy who will beat him—my inspiring friend @JDScholten: https://t.co/v3Kd7Y9JCV https://t.co/g6cgOswmjp
.@SteveKingIA: You are a disgrace. Resign. https://t.co/Tbu1e1mZ9O— Kirsten Gillibrand (@SenGillibrand) August 14, 2019
Steve King is a racist, a misogynist and a disgrace to the country. He should not be a member of the United States Congress. https://t.co/QZbXSEFpdw— Bernie Sanders (@BernieSanders) August 14, 2019
Steve King has no place in Congress. Time and time again, he has embarrassed himself and denigrated his office.— Julián Castro (@JulianCastro) August 14, 2019
Hey, @JDScholten, I’m ready for another Winnebago road trip—it’s time to unseat this bigot.https://t.co/eHnsSqLA7F
Rape apologists have no place in Congress. Iowans deserve better than Steve King. Donate now to his opponent, @JDScholten. https://t.co/jQnerNfcGT— Kamala Harris (@KamalaHarris) August 14, 2019
Steve King must resign. His latest comment is a disgusting attack on victims of sexual assault. The people of #IA04 deserve better. We must work together to elect @JDScholten in 2020. https://t.co/y5QDB4ToHc— Elizabeth Warren (@ewarren) August 14, 2019
Iowans are kind, decent, and welcoming people. Steve King doesn’t deserve the honor of representing them, and they deserve much better than Steve King. Let’s help replace him with someone who is as decent as they are. Join me in supporting @JDScholten: https://t.co/HNtMQFvEgI https://t.co/MyfcK8Qvef— Pete Buttigieg (@PeteButtigieg) August 15, 2019
Rep. Steve King should resign. His comments on rape and incest have no place in Congress and fuel a corrosive culture in this country around sexual assault.— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) August 15, 2019
We deserve better from our elected officials. https://t.co/QRXM3nUP8s
Even Omar had to get a dig in.
Gross! This would explain why these weirdos are fixed on smearing me with claims of incest. Projecting their filth, unreal. https://t.co/PTJpBYyUNV— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) August 14, 2019
King was stripped of his committee posts after he complained to the junk food media about his thoughts on white nationalism, western civilization and the great replacement theory.
King has endorsed foreign politicians who spread extremist views.
Round two for J.D. Scholten. |
He believes that multiculturalism and immigration are destroying the white race. He is often praised by white extremists and has appeared on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News.
He is a part of the Freedom Caucus until this year. Earlier this year, Republicans stripped him of his committees and caucus membership.
He along with Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC), Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA), Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) are the least productive members of the House of Representatives.
All they have done is become a thorn in the hair of many Republicans. They only win praise from Donald Trump and the assholes on Fox News.
His challenger is going for another round. J.D. Scholten wants a rematch. He nearly beaten the Republican. This time he is determined to defeat King.
To answer @stevekingia’s question, yes.— J.D. Scholten (@JDScholten) August 14, 2019
Our congressman continues to push his selfish agenda above the needs of #IA04 -- this time he excuses violence. This isn’t what we stand for. Help us spread our message of positive change across all 39 counties:https://t.co/jRduESrx7C https://t.co/bHdYFcyHth
Let's dethrone the racist King and Trump.
