I didn't watch the Dick Clark's Rockin New Year's on ABC. I enjoy the antics of Ryan Seacrest, Jenny McCarthy and Fergie. But sometimes, I just get tired of watching celebrities and couples making out at the stroke of midnight. I get tired of staying up to celebrate another year of being single, having lack of trust towards people and the disgust of the fuhrer coming to power in less than 18 days.
And I happened to miss the entertainment scandal of 2017.
Mariah Carey had another "break-break down."
The junk food media criticized her performance at the Rockin New Years as terrible.
Accusations of lip-syncing surround her and she claimed that ABC and Dick Clark Productions sabotaged her.
Dick Clark Productions slammed the accusation as absurd.
The New York Times report that the performance was a trainwreck. Malfunctions left her at a loss vocally during her hit song, "Emotions," struggling to reach notes and to sync the lyrics and music.
The trouble continued when she gave up on another her best known numbers, "We Belong Together," while a recording of the song continued to play, a confirmation that she had been lip-syncing.
This comes as no surprise that in July 2001, Carey had a nervous breakdown and was nearly suicidal.

I don't support their policies, their proposals, and I hope the spineless Democrats finally man up and give Trump the business. After all, Republicans spent eight years railing on President Barack Obama.
Starting on January 3, 2017, the Congress comes back to Washington. With a modest majority in the House and Senate, Republicans are feeling the wind is at their sails. They promise to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act. They promise to derail the nuclear agreement to stop Iran from building a weapon. They want to "extremely vet" refugees coming from Syria, Somalia and other countries caught in war (sparked by our meddling in the Middle East and Israel). They want to condemn the United Nations for passing a resolution condemning Israel after they were caught building settlements on Palestinian land. They want that damn Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipeline and more religion-based laws that can discriminate against same sex couples. They want to put their policies of cutting regulations back in play.
Their proposals could backfire and send the country back into recession. But I am giving a hypothetical. These proposals could work. But I don't want Trump or Republicans to succeed.
Like that old fart Rush Limbaugh said famously, "I HOPE HE FAILS".
Time for payback.

How can you fight a politician who fights dirty?
I don't support promoting fake news. I don't believe in hearsay and hypotheticals.

We are human beings first, everything else last. Unfortunately in the oh-so-United States, there's no united we stand. It's fuck it, I'm out for my own.

Of course, now this is an example of the nonsense we're dealing with. And in 19 days this controversial billionaire who happens to be an immature racist, sexist, pussy grabbing, Islamophobic, xenophobic former reality television star. Trump is an ignoramus. He is an old fart and his supporters are bunch of bigots.
Val Demings, Congresswoman-elect from Florida. The former Orlando Police Chief will be a shield from the relentless attacks from Black coon cop David Clarke.
The Democrats have a badge. As of January 3rd, Val Demings will take her position as U.S. Representative from the great state of Florida. She is African American. She serves the Republican strong 10th Congressional district. The district was once held by insurgent Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL). She lost against Webster in a 2014. Webster retired from Congress this term leaving the seat up for grabs.
Before she was a Representative-elect. Demings was the police chief of Orlando, Florida.
She the daughter of a maid and janitor, Demings knows how the toughest route to success.
According to Ballotpedia, Demings is devoting her term as a lawmaker to making laws that are designed to creating and retaining good paying jobs. She vows to protect Medicare and Social Security.
Demings being a former police chief should resonate with the ongoing issues with gun violence and the police shootings of unarmed suspects. Hopefully she supports police reform.
Democrats hate this guy. David Clarke, Jr., the Milwaukee County sheriff is constantly elected as a Democrat but talks like a racist Republican.
She could defend or attack Black Lives Matter. I don't have no peg on her yet.
But certainly she could serve as the counter balance to another African American lawman who spits nothing but racially charged bullshit.
That coon David Clarke, Jr. is a pain in the ass. The controversial Milwaukee County sheriff is gleeful that his master won the election. The fuhrer Donald J. Trump and vice fuhrer Mike Pence are preparing for transition. They will rollback progress and cause such chaos when they take over.
For you see, I don't want Trump and Pence to succeed. I want them to fail. I want them to fail miserably and want the world to suffer because of them.
Hopefully I will hear more of Val Demings in the coming future.
The year 2016 ends with the passing of William Christopher. He was best known for playing Father Mulcahy on the 1970s hit comedy series M.A.S.H.
Even on New Year's Eve, a major entertainer passed away. We just learned that William Christopher the legendary actor who played Father Mulcahy on the hit series M.A.S.H. passed away of lung cancer.
He was 84, and died in Pasadena according to his family.
Born in Illinois in 1932, William got his start as a stage actor in the 1950s before taking on the roles in television and film. He held a variety of shows during his life. Shows like The Patty Duke Show, the Andy Griffith Show, The Men from Shiloh and Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. were notable.
He even had a role on Hogan's Heroes.
But William's best role was playing the calming Father Mulcahy. He took the role after the actor who originally played the part wasn't available. He would become a mainstay throughout the 11 seasons of M.A.S.H.
He even reprised his role in the spin-off After M.A.S.H.
William was an advocate for autism. He has a son named Ned that was autistic. He spend a portion of his time devoting to the National Autistic Society and recording PSAs.
To end the year with the death of an iconic actor. We will miss you.

Damn, who would've thought Donald J. Trump would become the 45th President of the United States. A billionaire with no political experience or the temperament to lead the world's only superpower makes me shake my head with disgust. His win was apart of the flagrant racism, sexism, Islamophobia, xenophobia and utter ignorance of the American people.
White conservatives came out for the former reality television star and business mogul. President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will have the opportunities to prove to their supporters they can actually "Make America Great Again."
And Democrats will now have to prove to their disgruntled supporters that they have fight in them.
With the defeat of Hillary Clinton, the progressive and moderate/conservative wing of the Democratic Party are at odds with each other. They are trying to find a viable path to winning in the 2018 Midterm and 2020 General. With four years on the line, Democrats have no real viable candidate to take on Trump when he wants to run for reelection.
Hillary Clinton will be the first woman in American history to be a nominee for a major party. Her loss was a slap to the face to the establishment, women and history. Thanks to the onslaught of misinformation, resentment, and a lackluster appeal to the hardcore left, she lost the electoral college but ended up winning the popular vote. Clinton blames the FBI memo, the conservative agitators, Bernie Sanders, and Russia for the loss.
Trump's win also gave Republicans a HUGE majority. The Democrats go down in flames after this election. Republicans have the White House, Congress and many state legislatures.
And they have the wind in their sails. Trump can sign off the repeal of Obamacare, swing the court back when he gets his nominees for the Supreme Court confirmed. Trump's inept behavior spells trouble for those who believe in progress. The Republicans have insulted and dog whistle through the eight years of President Barack Obama's term. We are reminded that White supremacy is still relevant.
It's unfortunate that we live in the society where Jada Pinkett Smith, Jesse Williams and Colin Kaepernick are attacked for being engaged. From #OscarsSoWhite to taking a knee to police brutality, Black entertainers and athletes have expressed frustration with the justice system.
When cops get away with murder, it makes the irrational target them. So many in law enforcement were lost in the wake of gun violence. And the police are overworked as well. They have to defend their honor from the corruption within their departments. They allowed Michael Slager, Ray Tensing and many other cops walk. Even with video evidence, it's nearly impossible to indict an officer.
Mass shootings continue to plague the United States. The most deadliest shooting in history was the Pulse Nightclub shooting. Omar Mateen, a former security guard went into a gay bar and massacred many people before the law him. The law involuntarily massacred the innocent in their attempt to stop Mateen. Then of course, the mass shootings in Washington state mall where Arcan Cetin massacred four people before the law caught him without a bullet being fired.
The shootings of law enforcement in Dallas and Baton Rouge brought attention to police officers being targeted in the wake of other officers murdering people of color.
Things must change. We must change things for the better and hope for a better future of all humans beings.
We lost so many this year. The biggest shocks were the deaths of Prince, David Bowie, Muhammad Ali, Natalie Cole, Glenn Frey, Maurice White, Denise "Vanity" Matthews, Gwen Ifill, Frank Sinatra, Jr., George Michael, Patty Duke, Joanie "Chyna" Laurer, Florence Henderson, Bankroll Fresh, Shawty Lo, Phife Dawg, John Glenn, Nancy Reagan, Antonin Scalia, Doug Banks, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Harper Lee, Rob Ford, Doug Banks, Afeni Shakur, Billy Paul, Kimbo Slice, Gordie Howe, Ricky Harris, Christina Grimmie, Miss Cleo, Janet Waldo, Elie Wiesel, Fidel Castro, Gene Wilder, Lou Pearlman, Jerry Heller, Thomas Mikal Ford, Arnold Palmer, Ron Glass, Henry Judah Heimlich, Janet Reno, Sharon Jones, and many others this year.
Not to mention the man who created the red Solo cup, Robert Leo Hulseman passed away this year.
I didn't have time to name everyone else who died this year but I want them to know that they all will be missed.

You know I wanted to keep this short and simple because you have to proof-read and reedit this stuff constantly. Hell I know I am not perfect. I don't have to prove to anyone that I'm not.

The 47 year old actress/singer/model/media mogul got the net buzzing with a candid shot of her and the 6 God.
Jennifer Lopez who recently broke up with her longtime boyfriend Casper Smart was spotted with Drake making out.
Drake is 30 years old. He has dated notable celebrities. His list includes the likes of Rihanna, Serena Williams, Tyra Banks, Taylor Swift and Tika Sumpter. And to have J-Lo on the list means that he's truly a god when it comes to women.
The two are admitting that they're together but "they aren't serious just yet."
Lopez was previously married to Latin pop singer Marc Anthony and has two children with him.
