If one man died from oysters, why not another?

A man from Florida had suffered mild symptoms from eating raw oysters. However it turned worse and it lead to his death. He ended up having trouble breathing and was seriously losing oxygen in his bloodstream.

The Collin County coroner had declared Rodney Jackson brain dead after eating raw oysters with the deadly bacteria necrotizing fasciitis. It was literally eating away his organs and skin. It was basically eating him alive.

The disease would soon enter his brain and that's how he died.

Jackson lived in North Texas before moving to Pensacola. He was the director of business engagement at the Studer Community Institute. 

Another man from South Florida died from the same oysters that the restaurants got from Louisiana.

Jackson was a well-respected man in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He was a man who loved his passion of banking and continued to encourage Black and minority owned business owners to invest and bring success.

A motivator of Black business and innovation has passed away.

"Difference makers are hard to find, and people without agendas are even rarer to find," said Pastor James Hutchins, his former pastor of New Life Community Church in Frisco.

Jackson attended the church before moving to Florida.

Jackson a self-described "foodie" wanted to try raw oysters and thought it would be a taste of Florida.

"Rodney was about giving insight beyond spending. Losing the good ones always hurt more," Hutchins said of his former parishioner and friend.

The risk of eating raw seafood like oysters, clams and exotic fishes could pose deadly risks for disease, venom or food based allegories.

The CDC says the Vibrio bacteria doesn't make the oyster look, smell or taste any different. The agency added that 80,000 people get vibriosis in the U.S. and about 100 or more people die from it.

A South Florida man loses his life eating something that many never thought could be deadly.

He became infected with a flesh-eating disease after eating raw oysters. It's normal for people to eat oysters but if they're not properly cleaned and sanitized, they could carry bacteria that could be deadly.

Roger "Rocky" Pinckney. Jr., 44 also had a troubled life with drugs but it did not fully contributed to his death.

The many ate a full meal at the Rustic Inn Crabhouse in Fort Lauderdale. Pinckney, from Davie, started having abdominal pains and was hospitalized shortly after. The doctors determined that the bacteria, necrotizing fasciitis, was literally eating away his organs and skin. It was basically eating him alive.

The disease would soon enter his brain and that's how he died.

The cause of death was organ failure. However in the toxicology report, Pinckney had cannabis, cocaine, fentanyl, oxycodone and opiates in his body. He also tested positive for the Vibrio vulnificus, a bacteria found inside warm seawater.

The restaurant said that it passed Broward County's health inspections and never had anyone get sick after eating raw oysters.

"Over the course of 60 years, we have served a couple billion oysters, and we never had anyone get sick like this guy did," Rustic Inn Crabhouse manager Gary Oreal told The South Florida Sun Sentinel, noting that Pinckney worked there previously.

"We passed with flying colors, and we were allowed to continue to sell oysters. If there was a problem with the oyster bed we would know it because others would have gotten sick."

The restaurant showed that the Florida Department of Health did inspect the facility and said it passed.

His grief-stricken daughter said that it doesn't feel real.

"It still doesn't feel completely real," said Jaelyn Pinckney. "I don't know how an oyster can cause all of this." She said her dad was "the life of every single party" and there was "never a single moment of just being bored around him."

Legendary R&B singer confirms he is gay. The 1990s R&B/pop singer Tevin Campbell officially comes out as a gay man.

It was an open secret. He literally had been on the radar for years after his infamous police arrest inside a Los Angeles men's restroom.

Girls used to listen to his hits, "Tell Me What You Want To Do," "Can We Talk," "I'm Ready" and "Hush." Trust me, my sister and my cousin were huge fans of the R&B singer.

Campbell had opened up about his sexuality. 

“What makes me happiest right now is how far I’ve come in life,” he said on the podcast. “You know, there are a lot of child stars that don’t make it. But a lot of us do …  and the fact that I’ve embraced me.”

He admitted he was gay back in the 1990s but chose to keep it close to his family and a few friends.

“When I came out to my family and friends [at] about 19 or 20, that was it for me. And then I went on the road of discovering myself. I didn't know who I was,” Campbell shares.

"Being around people who were like me, LGBTQ+ people that were living normal lives and had partners. I had never seen that," he says. "That was a great time in my life."

There has been years of speculation about how Campbell chooses to identify and although he has chosen to keep his private life tight-lipped he posted a now-deleted tweet on Twitter to make things a bit more clear.

“Tevin is…,” he tweeted with a rainbow emoji, OUT previously reported.

“It was a casual thing for me,” Campbell says responding to the chatter that came after his post that he was officially coming out. “I love my fans, but what they think about my sexuality is of no importance to me.”

Brian Stelter Out At CNN!

Longtime CNN host Brian Stelter is out.

Softball Hannity will rejoice. His longtime nemesis is leaving CNN. Brian Stelter is leaving CNN and Reliable Sources is cancelled. The media analysis and agitator is the latest clearing house under CNN CEO Chris Licht and Warner Bros. Discovery.

This is one of the biggest shocks in the junk food media.

The company announced Thursday that it is ending the media analysis show that has aired in various iterations for 30 years. Its last episode will be this Sunday.

"As a result Brian Stelter will leave the company," a CNN spokesperson told CNN Business. "We appreciate his contributions to the network and wish him well as he embarks on new endeavors."

Amy Entelis, CNN's executive vice president of talent and content development praised Stelter's accomplishments.

"Stelter came to CNN from the New York Times as the nation's top media reporter. He departs CNN an impeccable broadcaster," she said in a statement. "We are proud of what Brian and his team accomplished over the years, and we're confident their impact and influence will long outlive the show."

Softball Hannity is spinning out of control after hearing the news of Brian Stelter leaving CNN.

Stelter added that he was grateful for his nine years at CNN and "proud of what we accomplished on Reliable Sources and so thankful for the viewers who tuned in every week for our examination of the media, truth and the stories that shape our world."

"It was a rare privilege to lead a weekly show focused on the press at a time when it has never been more consequential," he said in a statement to CNN Business. "I'll have more to say on Sunday."

In addition to serving as an on-air personality, he also served as a media writer for CNN.com. Since being hired from the New York Times in 2013 Stelter covered the media business, including pop culture, cable news and politics. Stelter also hosted a podcast and frequently wrote and oversaw a daily "Reliable Sources" newsletter with his fellow media reporter, Oliver Darcy.

CNN's media coverage will not end with Stelter's departure. The CNN digital media team and Reliable Sources newsletter will continue with Darcy leading the newsletter.

Damn shame the Fox folks won't rid themselves of that annoying media agitator. 

Fox, one of the frequent mentions of Stelter will be celebrating. They will see him gone but not forgotten. I doubt we haven't heard the last of him. I mean Newsnation and MSNBC are in need of someone who can call the media out for bullshit.

A$AP Rocky faces a court trial for a shooting.

A$AP Rocky may never see his son grow up if he gets convicted of a gun crime in California. He and Rihanna, the billionaire media mogul and pop singer became parents this year.

Rakim Athelaston Mayers plead not guilty in Los Angeles Superior Court for a 2021 shooting in Hollywood. Rocky faces two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm with allegations of personally using a firearm, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

The shooting occurred on Nov. 6, 2021, following an argument between two acquaintances in the area of Selma and Argyle avenues.

The argument escalated and resulted in the rapper firing a semi-automatic handgun at his former friend, who sustained a minor injury, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Mayers ran from the scene with two other people following the shooting.

He was arrested earlier this year at LAX after vacationing in Barbados with singer Rihanna. The two stars have a child together. Rihanna is a Barbadian-American entertainer and a "national hero" on the island.

“Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood,” District Attorney George Gascón said in a news release. “My office conducted a thorough review of the evidence in this case and determined that the addition of a special firearm allegation was warranted.”

The rapper is set to be arraigned Wednesday. The case remains under investigation by the LAPD’s elite Robbery Homicide division.

In 2019, Mayers was found guilty of assault in Sweden and received a conditional sentence, meaning he did not serve any additional jail time.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Jayceon Taylor was once a part of the Aftermath Entertainment family. He was the fifth member of The Unit. It all went south when he decided to turn on Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, the two men who helped bring him into the mainstream. 

Game was a part of G-Unit. He was added to the group when 50 Cent was blowing up. Jimmy Iovine, then CEO of Interscope and Dr. Dre thought it would help build the brand and give Game an opportunity to shine.

Game shortly proved to be difficult to work with. When 50 was going after rappers who he felt were siding with Ja Rule, Game decided to stay neutral and felt it worth it to work with them. Then Game claimed that 50 didn't have much of an impact on his album. Three of the six songs had 50 Cent and two of the songs without him were written with his input. That led to 50 publicly stating that he was firing Game out the cannon with G-Unit and Aftermath Entertainment. 

Em, Kendrick Lamar and Anderson .Paak are the only artists on Aftermath.

Eminem who also is the founder of Shady Records also has his artists Westside Boogie and Grip signed to the label.

Em still maintains a relationship with 50, Obie Trice, D12, Stat Quo, Royce Da 5'9'', Yelawolf, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I tha Kxng and Lloyd Banks. 

Game on the other hand, lost all of that when he decided to go rogue.

Eminem always credits Dr. Dre for bringing him into the mainstream.

The Black Slim Shady did not live up to the expectations he teased for five months. I mean it was 10 minutes of name drops, typical stan nonsense and things that doomed Machine Gun Kelly, Ja Rule, Nick Cannon and Raymond Scott (formerly Benzino).

It was straight up trash.

And I love listening to The Game but this was not his best nor it will help him earn a buck to pay that woman he owes in court. The rapper owes over $10 million to a woman in sexual assault case where he failed to show up to hearings and publically trashed her while the court was deciding whether he deserved a fair trial.

The album Drillmatic - Mind vs. Heart did not even chart on the Billboard Top 200 albums.

Curtain Call 2, the greatest hits of Eminem plus a few new singles did way better than Game's album.

On top of that, Hallie Jade Mathers, a podcast host and the daughter of Em slammed the rapper without even mentioning his name. She said why do rappers even mention her name?

I hope that Em leaves it alone. Cause I have a feeling that Game is going to need a new career after the E goes into the studio and releases his diss.

Game is somewhere between B-list or C-list. He literally isn't even on a major label any more.

Hit-Boy, the executive producer of the album even distanced himself from the diss. He said that Game wanted to "pay homage to the rapper." He didn't expect the rapper to go ballistic.

Even trolls are going after him worse than me. I mean he listed Em as his No. 4 in his top 10. 

Again, I declared Eminem the winner of this rap beef. 

The Game spent stan hours trying to bait Em. He constantly name drops Dr. Dre and every other rapper he could muster in his 10 minute verse. It's not bright using name drops for shock value.

If Game would stay focused on addressing Em without the cliches or Dre references, he could have muster a worthy diss. 

I am serious, Machine Gun Kelly did Rap Devil and that was fire. Even though he was defeated by Em, MGK gave the Detroit legend a worthy diss.

Ohio's state capital has surpassed 1 million residents. It is now the second largest city in the Midwest.

For a city that has no major football team, no major baseball team, no major basketball team, no rapid transit line and no commuter rail, something about Columbus, Ohio has the goods. Folks are moving to the city and its been a benefit.

Located in central Ohio, Columbus is the state capital and largest city in Ohio.

The metropolitan area which includes Chillicothe, Lancaster, Marysville, Newark and Delaware has a population of 2.9 million residents.

Where cities like Youngstown, Toledo, Cleveland, Canton, Dayton and Akron saw decreases in population, Columbus and Cincinnati have experienced a surge in population.

Columbus in its 2020 census has 907,000 residents, a surge since 789,000 in 2010. 

Cincinnati has 310,000 residents. It saw an uptick from 294,000 in 2010. 

Interstate 70, one of the transcontinental highways in the United States goes through Columbus. It serves 450,000 vehicles daily. Interstate 71 is a regional highway which connects Columbus to Cleveland, Cincinnati and Louisville. Interstate 270 which is a beltway that serves Columbus and its suburbs. Interstate 670 is a connector that heads into downtown Columbus and the John Glenn International Airport. Ohio State Route 315 is a freeway that links Columbus to Ohio State University and Worthington, an affluent suburb in the region. U.S. Highway 33 is a northwestern freeway that heads to Honda Marysville and the U.S. Vehicle Testing site. Ohio State Route 161 is a freeway on the eastern side of Columbus. Andrew Ginther is pleased about his city booming. I mean the Cbus is a great place for living right now.

With Columbus being a major populated area, the congressional district is now split unevenly to favor Republicans. About 60% of the city is represented by Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH), the chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus. The rest is represented by Rep. Karen Balderson (R-OH) and Rep. Karen Carey (R-OH).

Columbus is considered one of the best places to live.

She tried to taint Brown as corrupt, a "corporate" Democrat and claimed that "dark money" caused her to lose. She had the backing of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), Killer Mike and Jeffrey Shaun King, the white leftist who pretends to be Black. They ended up tanking her.

On top of that, Turner was appealing to white leftists. She was running in a Black majority district appealing to white voters. 

When she lost the race, she said she will announce her next moves soon. Well two months after keeping us in suspense, Turner announced she will join TYT Network to host a show. She ended up hosting a show for four months before announcing she would challenge Brown again for the newly redrawn district. 

Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH) is expected to serve a full term.

Her second time was worse. There was no national media coverage. Biden would end up endorsing Brown this time and the voters clearly decided that Turner was not their choice to represent Cleveland.

Now Turner is back for a third time to host another show on TYT before she decides on running for president in 2024 on the Green Party ticket.

Shontel Brown has loyalty which the Democrats back. When Turner ran for Ohio Secretary of State, guess who backed her failed bid?

Brown has backed every Ohio Democrat who ran for office. Turner has no loyalty and seems more like the noise that I've said to ignore.

Coonservative Defends White Nationalism On Fox!

Clueless Lt. Gov of North Carolina says racism doesn't exist.

Your daily reminder of the Democratic Party. This talking point from Republicans and far right extremists is the Democratic Party is the party of racism. This argument is often used by many agitators in the junk food media who refuse to understand that conservatism is actually racist. They often are trying to shield white nationalism by recruiting a person of color who literally defends hate. 

Larry Elder is the most infamous Black defender of white supremacy. Then down the road comes the rest. Candace Owens, Brandon Tatum, Katrina Pierson, Ben Carson, Rep. Coonron Donalds (R-FL), Rep. Coongess Owens (R-UT), Sen. Coontim Scott (R-SC) and so many others are so fixated on revisionism.

The first Black president is Barack H. Obama, II. 

He just turned 61 year old on August 4.

The Democrats have nominated twice, the first African American to be their nominee for President of the United States. He and Michelle Obama have faced daily attacks from Republicans ever since he announced his intention to run for president in 2007.

His former allies became far right extremists. One is a Texas lawmaker who used to be the White House doctor. The other was one of his former Secret Service agents.

Another reminder...... The Vice President of the United States is a Black woman.

Kamala D. Harris is the first woman of color to be Vice President of the United States.

The Republican Party has never elected a person of color to ever be their nominee for president. Unfortunately, they never will.

Enter Coon Robinson, the Lt. Governor of North Carolina. 

Robinson spoke at CPAC Texas and is hoping to generate buzz for a potential future 2024 candidacy.

Robinson appeared on the most useless media agitator's program to complain about how Democrats and progressives are trying to silence him.

"The Democratic Party has not changed their ideology toward Black people. It has always been an ideology of control. And when they cannot control you, when they cannot control your thought, they will hate you and they will try to destroy you. It's been done to me in several venues since I started on this venture, and it's nothing new."

He later added his thoughts on how his viral video of him speaking to a predominately white church sparked controversy.

Black coonservative goes to white nationalist to express his hatred of Blacks.

"When I made comments at a White church, they went viral and the news media jumped all over me and questioned me and threatened me and all kinds of stuff. But those comments I made in that Black church — the mass media refuses to air those. Why? Because I was speaking to Black people, and Black people agreed overwhelmingly. And that ideology, they cannot tolerate. They don't want to see Black people push against their narratives. In that situation, that's what happened."

Again, I am not trying to silence these extremists. That's the first thing I read in the word vomit. I am encouraging more of the noise. Because the more noise, the more motivation to oppose it.

They are entitled to be condescending bigots.

Conservatism is dosed in the fuel of hate of someone's race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, political and economic standings. They don't represent progress! Conservatives represent a shallow reality of American bigotry.

You can go into this narrative of me being hateful towards Black conservatives. I don't care anymore! I have no patience for this anymore!

If you think White conservatives are seriously disturbed individuals, you maybe right. But unfortunately, Black conservatives are just as bad. These individuals are progress in reverse when it comes to Civil Rights for all Americans. They believe that this country is on a slow path to destruction due to the policies of the "Democrat" Party and liberalism.

These Black extremists will hide behind the Civil Rights Movement to promote their hatred of Blacks, Hispanics, LGBT, Muslims, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former president Barack Obama and Black America in general.

Cheney Goes Down!

Cheney defeated by far-right extremist.

Rep. Karen Cheney (R-WY), the most high profile Republican to vote to impeach Washed Up 45 concedes to a former ally in the Wyoming Republican primary.

Cheney, the daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney is one of the most far right members of the House of Representatives. Yet, her vote to hold that pathetic man accountable doomed her and the nine others.

She like the other nine were facing challenges from the right. Only two of the 10 managed to survive a Washed Up 45 backed opponent.

In her concession speech, she slammed the former president and adhered to the GOP's former standard bearers Abraham Lincoln a d Ulysses Grant as political heroes.

She said she still remains a Republican but stressed she is not a member of a cult.

Cheney was trailing going in and was expected to take a loss. Her opponent, former campaign for U.S. Senate aide Karen Hageman challenged her in the primary and got the former president's backing.

Hageman called Cheney a traitor to the Republican Party because she impeached the former president and also participated as a co-chair to the Jan. 6 Investigation.

Outside of Jackson, Wyoming on her ranch, Cheney thanked her supporters, her friends and family. She said that she called the opponent to concede "honorably."

She said that the primaries of her prior were over 70 points. This time around she lost by 40 points.

She said the opponent "peddles the former president's election fraud lies and enable his attacks on the democratic system."

Republicans in Wyoming disapproved of Cheney's stance against the former president and it showed tonight in her defeat. 

Cheney vows to do everything in her power to prevent the former president from entering the White House. 

Now as she is required to finish her term, expect more testimonies from the Jan. 6 Committee. She, Rep. Karen Kinzinger (R-IL) and the eight Democrats will continue to find information and witnesses to the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Hageman is an avowed white nationalist and election denier. She will likely win the U.S. Representative going into 2023.

On Monday he has tested positive for COVID-19, is experiencing mild symptoms and will quarantine at home.

In a statement, Austin, 69, said his is fully vaccinated and has received two boosters. He said he'll quarantine for the next five days in accordance with CDC guidelines and "will retain all authorities and plan to maintain my normal work schedule virtually from home."

Austin said his last in-person contact with President Joe Biden was on July 29.

In January, Austin also contracted COVID and had received a booster in October.

"Now, as in January, my doctor told me that my fully vaccinated status, including two booster shots, is why my symptoms are less severe than would otherwise be the case," Austin said. "I will continue to consult closely with my doctor in the coming days."

Just because the United States has eased up on the coronavirus mandates and regulations doesn't mean that the pandemic is over. We have lost over 1 million Americans to the coronavirus. If things were normal, this would have been less than 100 deaths if Washed Up 45 would have taken the threat seriously. We are also dealing with the possibility of a monkeypox outbreak. The U.S. has over 54,000 cases so far and it has been an ongoing epidemic.

Hell, he would have easily won his bid for a second term had he took the pandemic seriously.

Now it's tasked to President Joe Biden. He continues to push for vaccinations and following the CDC rules when testing positive for the coronavirus. We have lost over 1 million American lives to the coronavirus.

The funding for the coronavirus pandemic prevention is running out of funds. The Congress is not willing to push for more funding given that Republicans in the House and Senate as well as the two white nationalists in the Democratic caucus refusing to spend more money on preventions. They're willing to spend a lifetime to help Ukraine but never a dime for the needy here in the United States.

Biden thought Americans would take this shit seriously. Alas, they ain't willing to do it.

The pandemic is part of the culture wars. This war is costing lives. Thousands of Americans have tested positive each day of the week. Over 1,000 to 5,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus a day.

These folks not willing to get vaccinated, nor willing to take appropriate steps to prevent infection are the causalities of this culture war.

Folks like myself don't empathize with them. I refuse to. I am tired of dealing with people who think their only way to feel good about themselves is to "own the libs" or stop "wokism."

Of course, there's folks who are fully vaccinated but end up getting the coronavirus. As with vaccines, nothing is 100%. The vaccines are capable of preventing the coronavirus.

At best, it's a 94% prevention rate which means 1 out of 500 could be infected even if they're vaccinated.

Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.

We came so far only have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

The Republicans are so devoted to destroying Biden and the country for what....to regain power.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19. 

If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!

Capri Sun Recalls Drinks!

Back to school and a popular beverage is on recall.

Back to school time and parents probably packed their children a Capri Sun drink in their lunch. It appears that the German based juice company announced a recall on its Wild Cherry brand because it contains the possibility of cleaning solution. HeinzKraft licenses the product.

Kraft Heinz said in a statement that a cleaning solution used to treat food processing equipment was "inadvertently introduced into a production line at one of our factories." The issue was discovered after it received "several consumer complaints" about the products' taste.

The company didn't disclose how many total pouches have been recalled. However, each case has four cartons that have 10 pouches each totaling in about 230,000 individual pouches possibly being affected.

Here's how to know if your Capri Sun has been recalled: Look for a "Best When Used By" date of June 25, 2023 on each 6.6-ounce pouch. Meanwhile, Kraft (KHC) said it's "actively working" with retailers to remove the "potentially impacted product from circulation."

Customers that have the product can return them to the store. Kraft said people shouldn't drink them.

Earlier this week, about 13,000 pounds of frozen pizza made by Home Run Inn Frozen Foods was recalled because of potential metal contamination.

The pizza's meat topping "may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal," the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service said in a statement Sunday.
