A Texas woman is facing criminal charges after she threw her soup in the face of a restaurant manager. After complaining about the soup being too hot, the woman was verbally abusive and the manager tried to remedy the situation. The woman felt the need to toss a hot liquid into the face of this young woman.

The woman is sharing her story.

Janelle Broland told the junk food media that she is pressing charges. She said that the incident happened on Nov. 7 at Sol De Jalisco in Temple, Texas. The woman entered the restaurant with her husband complaining about the soup being hot and melting the plastic.

Broland apologized and tried to give the customer a refund or another product. That did not stop the customer from cussing her out and threatening her with physical violence.

Broland ask for her to calm down. It didn't settle down.

So before she could speak another word, the woman toss the soup directly in the face of Broland.

Broland said that she felt burning and stinging in her eyes. She said that the spices and tomato juice made her face swell up but she didn't suffer major burns. Thankfully, she was severely injured.

But customers and her staff saw this. As the woman and her husband proceed out the door, folks managed to get the license plate and Broland called the law. Now the woman and her husband are permanently banned from the locations that restaurant is located.

"The Marquez Family does not tolerate such behavior, and we simply want our establishment to be a place where people can chill out and enjoy live music, delicious Mexican food, and the best local drinks---as we have stated on our social media accounts continuously."

Police said the woman had left the premises before the cops arrived. Broland said her co-workers and some of the customers helped her. One customer poured water into her eyes and cleaned up her clothing.

Allen Teston, the deputy police chief of Temple Police said that this incident is going to be investigated and the suspect will face charges once the investigation is complete.

The suspect who isn't identified but will face felony charges. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

We are starting to return back into our homes. Holidays are approaching and that one family member who is asymptomatic could spread the coronavirus to unvaccinated members.

The coronavirus has symptoms ranging from mild to severe. Those with weak immune systems are most at risk of death.

Cases are spiking in the United States and of course, the death count has reached another grim milestone. We are approximately 800,000 Americans are dead from the coronavirus.

At present time, 783,452. This is going to change and by Thanksgiving, we will surpass the milestone. The government has undercounted the deaths due to unverified cases. 

Also Republican governors in 20 states are not following CDC guidelines. They refuse to release the number of people who died from the coronavirus. There are three strains of the COVID-19 and the most contagious is the delta strain.

We have seen about 80% of Americans getting their first shot.

Rising prices due to demand. Republicans are seizing on it.

We have seen a spike of coronavirus in 33 states. Mississippi, Florida and Texas refuse to report their numbers.

The former head of the Food and Drug Administration warned Sunday that there’s “no question” that there will be a surge in COVID-19 cases after Thanksgiving gatherings.

Dr. Scott Gottlieb, who sits on the board of Pfizer, said he anticipates the uptick in cases already seen in more than a dozen states to continue after the Nov. 25 holiday.

“We’re going to see a post-holiday spike, there’s no question about that. People are exhausted right now, but we need to remain vigilant just for a little bit longer,” Gottlieb said on “Face the Nation.”

Gottlieb said that particularly vulnerable to rising case numbers are regions that weren’t hit as hard by the latest Delta wave.

“If you’re in the southwest right now, you’re in the Great Lakes region, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, you’re in parts of New England or western Pennsylvania or northern New York, or certain mountain states like Colorado, things don’t look good,” he said.

“You haven’t experienced the Delta wave yet, and things are going to get worse before they get better,” he said.

Gottleieb said that believes that COVID-19 will start to become less of a threat thanks to the authorization of vaccines for younger ages and the possibility of new treatments.

“I think we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel in terms of declining prevalence on the back end of this Delta wave and also with the deployment of new technology that we have,” Gottlieb said.

“We now have orally available drugs that should be available in the first quarter. We have vaccines available to children. So, we see that point in time when this is going to still be a pervasive risk, COVID, but it’s not going to be the prevalent risk it is right now where it’s- where it’s- dominates our lives.

Of course, we have inflation. Due to Americans leaving the workforce, the demand for food, supplies and electronics have went up. Gasoline prices are up because other countries distributing oil are having trouble keeping workers due to pay or the coronavirus.

Republicans are seizing on the inflation and government mandates as their key to winning back Congress. Despite their failure to take control of the pandemic when they had Washed Up 45 in charge, the Republicans still biter over their election defeat would rather let the country fall into chaos. They rather allow Americans be upset with culture wars instead of their failure to provide alternatives to President Joe Biden's Build Back Better agenda.

Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.

But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war. 

With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

We came so far only to have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

The Republicans are so devoted to destroying Biden and the country for what....to regain power.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19. 

If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!

Project Veritas is in some deep shit right now! The U.S. Justice Department is investigating a claim that the right wing provocateurs stole the diary of Ashley Biden and published salacious allegations against her father, President Joe Biden. The diary was stolen from Biden and she did report it missing.

The feds got involved when a right wing website started publishing an article detailing it during the final days of the election.

The feds believed that the ACORN pimp was peddling Russian disinformation. 

A federal judge ordered the Department of Justice to stop extracting data from the phones of the Project Veritas founder days after his home was raided by the FBI as part of an investigation into the missing diary.

The order, which came on Thursday from District Court Judge Analisa Torres from the Southern District of New York, granted the request from ACORN Pimp's legal team made Wednesday for an independent "special master" to be appointed to oversee the review of his devices.

"We are gratified that the Department of Justice has been ordered to stop extracting and reviewing confidential and privileged information obtained in their raids of our reporters, including legal, donor, and confidential source communications," ACORN Pimp's attorney Harmeet Dhillon told Fox News. "The First Amendment won a temporary victory today, but Project Veritas has a long way to go to hold the DOJ and FBI accountable for their actions."

According to the order, the DOJ must confirm to the court by Friday that it has paused its review of ACORN Pimp's phones. 

Appearing on "White Nationalist Tonight," Dhillon said the federal government seizing any of Project Veritas' donor information, communications with its lawyers as well as sources from within the Biden administration are "multiple First Amendment issues."

"We went to the court and asked the court to order a special master to review this information and not let the Southern District of New York prosecutors and the FBI look at it without somebody separating out this information," Dhillon told Fox's Tuckems. "The government would not agree to do that voluntarily but we went to court and today a federal judge did order the government to stop looking at these phones. So ultimately, we're going to get some answers as to what was reviewed and what they did with it."

"The DOJ has specific regulations about this. There's also a federal statute called the Privacy Protection Act that protects journalists and their information from exactly this type of thuggish behavior that the DOJ has done in this case. And they have blown federal law, they blown the Constitution, they blown due process and civil rights and now they're so easily communicating in some level for sure with the New York Times," Dhillon added. 

President Joe Biden's youngest daughter Ashley in the crosshairs of a right wing hit job.

Dhillon was alluding to the Times' reporting on the FBI raids of the ACORN Pimp and two Project Veritas associates as well as the publishing of confidential communications between the guerilla news organization and its attorneys. 

The Project Veritas founder then explained that "tipsters" approached his group late last year alleging to have Ashley Biden's diary containing "explosive allegations" about her father, then the Democratic nominee, and that the diary was allegedly abandoned in a room that she had stayed at and that they stayed after. 

The "tipsters," who O'Keefe said he had never met prior, were apparently negotiating with media outlets to sell Biden's diary and that ultimately, Project Veritas did not publish the book's contents because his group was not able to independently verify its authenticity.

It been a week since the election for Buffalo's mayor. It appears that Byron Brown will serve his fifth term as the mayor of the western New York community. His victory was squarely done by a smart and effective write-in campaign which sought to place his rival, Democratic nominee India Walton as a leftist who could affect down ticket votes.

She has not congratulated her opponent. Matter of fact, she doubled down by slamming the mayor for being in the pockets of Republicans.

The Republicans had no nominee in the race. So she is complaining that Republicans voted for Brown and Walton said he had "dark money" and labeled Brown "corrupt."

Every dirty trick in the book was tried against us, from draining our resources in legal fees, to playing flagrant lies on a loop, to Republican poll inspectors pre-stamping ballots.

Just like Nina Turner, Walton can't see that her loss mostly contributed to her.

What doomed India Walton?

She was too polarizing. At first a low primary turnout led to her surprise victory over Brown. But her leaving Buffalo to campaign in Cleveland for failed candidate Nina Turner and her attacks on Brown as being a Republican were turn offs. Brown is a Democrat but won as an independent. He paraded his accomplishments and said that he is working on reforming the Buffalo Police in real time. He said that Walton wants to strip police of their resources. Walton relied on faulty polling and stupid factories like The Young Turks to assure her that she was a shoe in for victory. She didn't get the backing of Gov. Kathy Hochul or the New York Democratic Party. 

I'm working to build communities.

Walton kind of burned bridges with the party.

It appears Walton wanted to be a friend to extremists on the left. The white leftists who wanted gentrification politics with sloganning kind of doomed her. The folks who troll online and call Democrats who aren't progressive enough, corporate Dems. The very same folks who claim that Medicare for All, Defund the Police and the New Green Deal are popular ideas for the Democratic Party.

Her endorsements from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Jeffrey Shaun King and Nina Turner were toxic.

Walton made the mistake of underestimating the community. The Black vote played pivotal in carrying Brown across the finish line. He didn't really had much to fear from Walton.

Walton made mistakes early in her campaign. She went outside her city to campaign for Turner. She said that she wants to cut the police budget by $8 million. She owed parking tickets and had her own vehicle impounded because of failure. She attacked the council members and made incendiary comments on social media. She called a councilmember a white tiny dick jackass.

Walton's "Nina Turner" remarks have doomed her. She is the light version of saying "half-a-bowl" of shit.

Now Walton is continuing her sore loser parade by calling for Brown to be removed from the DNC.

Like that's gonna happen! He won an election. She didn't!

The long awaited album from the group Silk Sonic. The album composed of R&B singer Bruno Mars and hip-hop artist Anderson .Paak. 

The album was released on Aftermath Entertainment and Atlantic Records. The album release took almost a year before its official release.

The two have met in 2017 and decided to get together in the studio with no intent, besides the mutual appreciation and affection. The two were hoping to put an album out last year but the pandemic kind of messed that up.

The album has nine singles and its has production from D'Mile, Bruno Mars, The Stereotypes and Anderson .Paak.

Silk Sonic returning to soul and funk.

The album has features from Thundercat, Bootsy Collins and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.

An Evening with Silk Sonic was met with critical acclaim from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from professional publications, the album received an average score of 86, based on seven reviews, indicating "universal acclaim".

Jon Pareles of The New York Times said that Mars and Paak "flaunt skill, effort and scholarship" and called it a "a Fabergé egg of an album: a lavish, impeccable bauble, a purely ornamental not-quite-period piece. The former White House advisor can't use executive privilege. The white nationalist is finally indicted on contempt of Congress which means he will be arrested soon.

A federal grand jury charged the white nationalist with two counts of obstruction. The Department of Justice handed the white nationalist his serving on Friday. The white nationalist failure to appear under oath to the House Select Committee to Investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol and not offer any requested documents will place him at the will of the court.

No arraignment date has been set but it will be soon when the white nationalist will be sent to federal time out.

The House voted 229-202 to hold the white nationalist in contempt in October.

Rep. Karen Meijer (R-MI), Rep. Karen Upton (R-MI), Rep. Karen Katko (R-NY), Rep. Karen Mace (R-SC), Rep. Karen Gonzalez (R-OH), Rep. Karen Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Rep. Karen Herrera Beutler (R-WA), Rep. Karen Cheney (R-WY) and Rep. Karen Kinzinger (R-IL) voted with the Democrats in holding that sloppy piece of shit in contempt of Congress.

"Since my first day in office, I have promise Justice Department employees that together we would show the American people by word and deed that the Department adheres to the rule of law, follows the facts and the law, and pursues equal justice under the law," said Attorney General Merrick Garland in the release. "Today's charges reflect the Department's steadfast commitment to these principles."

U.S. District Attorney for the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves said the indictment towards the white nationalist will merit warnings to those who refuse to adhere to federal subpoenas.

"As detailed in the indictment on Sept. 23, 2001, the Select Committee issued a subpoena to Mr. Bannon," Graves said. "The subpoena required him to appear and produce documents to the Select Committee, and to appear for a deposition before the Select Committee."

"According to the indictment, Mr. Bannon refused to appear to give testimony as required by subpoena and refused to produce documents in compliance with a subpoena," Graves said.

The charges carry up to year in federal time out and hefty fines from $1,000 to $10,000. 

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The trial of the three men who indicted on the murder of Ahmaud Arbery is on right now. You can watch some of the trial on YouTube or here on Journal de la Reyna. 

The defense lawyer for one of the three white men on trial had took aim at Rev. Al Sharpton and stated that the court didn't need all these Black pastors.

Kevin Gough represents the three men who were charged with murder and other crimes in Arbery’s Feb. 23, 2020, killing. The 25-year-old Black man was chased and fatally shot after the defendants spotted him running in their neighborhood outside the Georgia port city of Brunswick.

Gough told Superior Court Judge Timothy Walmsley that he was concerned Sharpton’s presence in court Wednesday was an attempt to intimidate the disproportionately white jury hearing the case. The jury was not in the courtroom when he made the remarks.

“Obviously there’s only so many pastors they can have,” Gough said. “And if their pastor’s Al Sharpton right now that’s fine, but then that’s it. We don’t want any more Black pastors coming in here ... sitting with the victim’s family, trying to influence the jurors in this case.”

Jason Sheffield, one of the suspect’s lawyers, told the judge he didn’t notice any distractions caused by Sharpton, who sat in the back row of the courtroom gallery wearing a mask.

Gough said he didn’t realize Sharpton had been there until after court had adjourned for the day.

“You weren’t even aware of it until later?” the judge said. “I’m not sure what we’re doing.”

Sharpton held a prayer vigil and news conference outside the Glynn County courthouse Wednesday afternoon to show support for Arbery’s family. Afterward he joined Arbery’s parents and their lawyers to listen to portions of the trial testimony.

The family of Ahmaud Arbery condemned the remarks of the attorney.

Sharpton said in a statement that Gough’s remarks showed “arrogant insensitivity.”

“I respect the defense attorney doing his job,” Sharpton said, “but this is beyond defending your client, it is insulting the family of the victim.”

Jury selection ended last week with prosecutors objecting to the final jury of 11 whites and one Black juror. The judge agreed there appeared to be “intentional discrimination” in the exclusion of Black potential jurors, but said Georgia law limited his authority to intervene.

One juror, a white woman, was dismissed before the trial began for medical reasons. Fifteen total panelists are hearing the trial — 12 jurors plus three alternates. The judge has not given the races of the alternate jurors, and they were not asked to state their race in open court.

Since you're invested in gaslighting and gotcha moments, I want you to know that the Biden infrastructure package will greatly benefit Black, Hispanic and Asian American construction contactors and distributors. The package allows grants to minority owned businesses and will address racial inequalities through transportation like the interstate highways which separated Black communities. I will keep reminding you that Jim Clyburn was the guy who helped Biden win the nomination. It was Biden's pick of Kamala Harris that helped him win over Black women. It was Biden who learned from Clyburn, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton on how to message to people of color. 

I want to assure you that your great-grandparents referred to Black athletes as Negros. Your racist descendants called us NIGGERS. Black enablers of white supremacy often would run tail when there's trouble.

The former president had called the African Union nations and Haiti, "shitholes." The former president referred the Charlottesville controversy in these words, "there were very fine people, on both sides."

And on top of that, Biden picked a Black woman as his vice president. Biden's former boss was a Black man who ended up being a two term president. 

This controversy is "much to do about nothing."

Just in case you've forgotten, Biden got Congress to pass his the infrastructure bill which will help the Black community. It includes comprehension to the racial divides of the Interstate Highway System.

The removal of lead pipes in urban and rural centers. The grants to Black own contractors and distributors is in the bill.

Biden signed an Executive Order on that seeks to begin the necessary work to address and eliminate the racial disparities in U.S. education and, as a result, provide economic opportunity.  The administration has directed a working group made up of senior officers across government agencies to study and to implement best practices that will improve education and ultimately financial outcomes for Black Americans.  

The Order is titled the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Black Americans, and it’s a comprehensive plan that addresses issues from educational access for 3 and 4-year-olds to Black students at HBCUs as well as those attending other post-secondary, trade and vocational schools.
