A national story based out of Dayton, Ohio involved a young boy being abused by his father. The girlfriend and her sister looked the other way when the father abused him. Now all three of them are facing the consequences.

The three sexual predators who murdered Tokada Collins will be serving a lengthy bid in the iron college.

Takoda Collins was sexually and physically abused by his father and his girlfriend. The girlfriend's sister did not report the abuse. The three were criminally charged with murder, conspiracy and rape by force.

Collin's father was sentenced to 51-years to LIFE in the iron college. His girlfriend was sentenced to 22-27.5 years in the iron college. The sister who failed to report it was sentenced to 8 years in the iron college.

The three was indicted on the murder of Tokoda Collins. The incident happened in December 2019.

The 10 year old boy was killed by blunt force trauma combined with compressive asphyxia and submersion in water in a bathtub. The boy was also malnourished and sexually abused.

These monsters won't be getting out of the iron college anytime soon.

When he was taken to the Dayton Children's Hospital, he was unresponsive. The county coroner said he never seen such abuse in his life.

The 10-year old boy's death has sparked a Republican state legislator to draft a bill to hold child welfare agencies accountable.

The Montgomery County Child Services failed to take Takoda out of the home. They believed the father was stable which meant despite the concerns, the child had a decent home.

The child had clear signs of abuse but the Dayton schools couldn't notify the Child Services due to protocols. The agency couldn't return the child to his mother because she had issues while living in Wisconsin.

Takoda's parents failed him.

The failed U.S. House candidate is filing her papers for a potential 2022 run. After the thumping from Shontel Brown in the Democratic special House primary, the leftist Nina Turner has joined The Young Turks network to promote more bullshit. It's all a grift for her to run again. "Sista" Nina will be on the sidelines criticizing Biden and doing the bad faith politics that led the Democrats into defeat in 2016.

As she is getting a paycheck to be distraction to President Joe Biden's agenda, Turner has filed FEC paperwork for a possible 2020 rematch with Brown. 

Brown is expected to win the special election held to replace Marcia Fudge. 

With redistricting. Brown will likely have all of Cleveland and parts of Akron in the new congressional.

Brown beat Turner in August by 6 points. She carried more than 4,300 votes. Turner, a former Ohio state senator and Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign advisor refused to congratulate her opponent. She claimed that "dark money" destroyed her campaign.

No.

Shontel Brown won because she wants to be a lawmaker not a sideshow.

Turner ran a campaign like a circus. She had all the major endorsements. She had all the money. She touted polls showing she beaten Brown and the 10 others. But here's the reason why she lost....

The district is Black.

Turner was appealing to white leftists and cosplay socialists. She was churning "sloganing." She was promising things that didn't appeal to Black constituents in a majority-minority district.

Her rallies were for white people. Many of these supporters did not live in the Ohio 11th Congressional District. Remember her "Souls to the Polls" rally. The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections told Turner that voter intimidation was illegal. Many of the folks who appeared at the rally didn't even live there.

Turner also had a hand-me down campaign van. Some loser from Seattle drove the Nina Van across the district and it was roundly mocked. Also having Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) campaign for you was a mistake. 

They are literally trying to tank the American Jobs Plan, a bipartisan bill because they are not willing to settle with passing one of the two packages. Their presence has been a burden on President Joe Biden and Democrats.

Brown said that she's not trying to be an activist. She wants to be a lawmaker who wants to work on behalf of the constituents of the Ohio 11th Congressional District. She does not want to be in the spotlight like Turner. 

Turner needs to take that bowl of shit and eat it. 

Cause no one needs that bowl of shit representing Ohio.

It was bound to happen. The Chesapeake, Virginia based company is going to raise prices on some items at their stores. "Where Everything is a $1" is no longer the motto for Dollar Tree.

The company will be forced to raise prices on food, school supplies, cleaning supplies, toilet paper and helium for balloons.

The cost of clothes, cars, food and just about everything else has soared this year as the global economy emerges from the pandemic. 

Last month Dollar Tree said that rising shipping costs would take a bit of the $1.50 to $1.60 out of its per-share profits this year. That's a huge hit for any business, perhaps more so far one founded decades ago steadfastly calling itself "Only $1.00 Inc."

The AP also reported that the company will have some flexibility and likely more variety on its shelves. But a dollar this year will not buy you what it did in 2020.

"For decades, our customers have enjoyed the 'thrill-of-the-hunt' for value at one dollar - and we remain committed to that core proposition - but many are telling us that they also want a broader product assortment when they come to shop," said CEO Michael Witynski in a prepared statement.

Some locations have become Dollar Tree Plus.

Inflation in the U.S. reached 4.2% in July, the highest in three decades. And this week in an appearance before Congress, Fed Chair Jerome Powell said that price increases have worsened amid snarled supply chains and rising labor costs.

Republicans continue to believe that Americans should get back to work in the middle of a deadly pandemic. Over 720,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus. The need for workers is dire for companies like Dollar Tree. They don't pay them enough for a shopper to berate them over a bar of soap costing $1.25 instead of its promised $1.

After her VERZUZ battle with fellow R&B singer, the entertainer shares her new projects and recovery from COVID-19

Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas (known professionally as Ashanti) is working on a comeback. She was being interviewed by Tamron Hall about her future plans. The American singer said that she is re-recording her debut album and re-releasing it. She said that she bought her masters.

The self-titled debut album went 3x platinum and was one of the biggest successes on Murder, Inc. Records and Def Jam Recordings.

"It's so surreal," the singer said. "I have an amazing legal team... The fact that I'll be able to rerecord my first album and put everything together and..." Then, Hall jumped in. "Wait, that's the big announcement! I was going to build up to that!... She's recording the album now as an independent artist!"

Ashanti spoke about those early days before her career as a New York City youth with big dreams. "I used to live in the basement of my house — I wanted to feel like I had my own apartment," she said. "So I used to be downstairs in my own section, and I would put on the Cartoon Network on mute and I would just write. And it sounds so crazy, but I would be...having cartoons on, playing the beat, and then just writing. It made me feel comfortable. It allowed me to kind of get into my zone."

While at the Murder, Inc studio, Ashanti remembers, "I would be the only female and there would be guys in there rolling dice and doing things that guys do and throwing money on the table and there was a lot of stuff in the air," she recalled. American R&B and gospel singer Kelly Price comes forward telling the world she is still alive.

The 49-year old entertainer had tested positive for COVID-19 and was reportedly missing after family members visited her suburban Atlanta home to find she wasn't there.

Price decided to break her silence. 

She also told fans to take the coronavirus seriously.

"At some point, they lost me. I woke up some days later, a couple days later, and the first thing I remember is the team of doctors standing around me and asking me if I knew what year it was."

When asked to clarify what she meant by "they lost me," Price said. "I died."

Basically what she is telling the public, that the delta variant almost killed her. She was placed on a ventilator and went into a coma.

Price wouldn't reveal if she had been vaccinated when she tested positive for COVID-19. 

She did say that she is following the doctor's advise by staying quarantined. She posted on social media that she has splitting headaches and hopes that she will recover from the coronavirus.

Price admits she is on oxygen while dealing with the coronavirus. 

The controversy surrounding the entertainer was launched by her sister Shanrae Price. She had to notify the Cobb County Sheriff's office that Kelly had not contacted her in over a month. The last video Price posted was her in a mask saying that she tested positive for the coronavirus.

With everyone in the junk food media obsessed with the tragic death of Gabby Petito, many women of color and others are being ignored. It took five days before I even knew about Kelly Price being missing.

The singer's attorney Monica Ewing told the junk food media that she was alive. She is recuperating.

Black Twitter did not buy that shit. We still don't. 

But it's a reminder that getting vaccinated does prevent you from being in a hospital or the morgue.

Rapper Scarface almost died from the coronavirus in 2020. He and Slim Thug tested positive for the coronavirus and both said they almost died from it.

Of course, there's folks who are fully vaccinated but end up getting the coronavirus. As with vaccines, nothing is 100%. The vaccines are capable of preventing the coronavirus. At best, it's a 94% prevention rate which means 1 out of 500 could be infected even if they're vaccinated.

President Joe Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.

But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war. 

With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

We came so far only to have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

The Republicans are so devoted to destroying Biden and the country for what....to regain power.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19. 

If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!

Man, I miss Barack and Michelle Obama.

Former president Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are expected to breaking ground at Jackson Park in Chicago. The former president will have his library and museum built in the South Side neighborhoods. The controversial project is going being build despite outcry from conservatives and those who feel like gentrification could snuff out Black neighborhoods.

As of August 2021, the former president's library is being built. 

Recalling Obama's 2008 victory, the former president had acknowledged that Chicago is where he got his political career started. He said that from the ground up he built a candidacy for the people. He said that the library will bring hope to the South Side neighborhoods.

Obama's former vice president, now current president Joe Biden had to tape a video message congratulating his old boss on this achievement.

Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot and Illinois mayor J.B. Pritzker are attending the event.

Obama remarked that the event was scaled down due to the pandemic. 

The former president as well as former president George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter have talked to Biden and offered advice on how to maneuver through the polls, the partisan bullshit from Congress and having a backbone of steel.
