Another fucking mass shooting in the United States. It happened in San Jose, California. The notifications were issued. President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Gavin Newsom, Mayor Sam Liccardo, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) and the 54 members of California's Congressional Delegation were notified.

The San Jose Police, Santa Clara County Sheriff, FBI and Homeland Security are investigating a mass shooting and a possibility bomb plot at a light rail transit station yard.

This happened at the Valley Transit Authority light rail yard and it was located near the Santa Clara County Sheriff Department. I love how the junk food media says the law rushed into action.

The terrorist massacred 10 people and injured approximately 50 workers. It was within less than five minutes. It happened at 6:30am and it happened at the most vulnerable moments. It appears it happened during a union meeting. 

The California State Police along with state officials address the public about the mass shooting.

So I am going on the assumption that the worker was being fired out the cannon and he decided to take his revenge on his manager, his union representatives and his co-workers.

The San Jose Fire and Rescue had a report on a fire at the home that maybe tied to the terrorist.

The city of San Jose has a population of 1.23 million residents.

It appears to be another fucking workplace mass shooting. A disgruntled employee takes out multiple lives before the law either took his out or he went out like a punk.

The usual bullshit of sympathy includes: "Thoughts and Prayers," "Our Hearts Going Out To," "Trying To Wrap Our Heads Around," "We Offer Our Condolences" and "There's Nothing We Can Do About It."

Of course, we lower flags, honor them at candlelight vigils, names buildings, roads, parks, bus stations, stadiums and communities after them. 

But you know what..... They will never come back!

The National Rifle Association, white nationalist Republicans and some white nationalist Democrats continue to use the farce that we cannot impede on the Second Amendment.

They continue to push this bullshit about stopping "bad guys" with more guns. Yet, who was the bad guy? 

The "nice guy" who either lost his job, had a bad relationship with a spouse or partner, felt the politics of Washington, DC is too extreme, had a strange obsession with firearms or hoarding weapons, 

"This is a horrific day for our city and it is a tragic day for the VTA family and our heart pains for the families and the co-workers because we know so many are feeling deeply this loss of their loved ones and their fiends," Liccardo told reporters at the scene.

Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith said her deputies and San Jose police officers arrived quickly after the initial 9-1-1 calls.

No one expects these things to happen. They happened almost everyday.

“When the shots were still being fired our teams, with San Jose PD, are entering the building while shots were still going off. We attempted rescues," Smith said. "We have some very brave officers and deputies."

Citing an "active shooter," deputies told the public at 7:12 a.m. PT to steer clear of the neighborhood, about 50 miles south of downtown San Francisco.

Even hours after the shooter died, a bomb squad was clearing the area in case the gunman left explosives behind.

“We received information that there are explosive devices that are located inside the building,” Davis told reporters at the scene. “ We’re trying to clear out every room, every crevice of that building.”

The dead suspect is believed to be the only shooter involved, according to officials.

"Public safety is assured at this point," Davis said.

Davis called the shooting scene a VTA "control center" which is a "hub that stores multiple VTA trains and a maintenance yard as well."

The shooting happened "on the VTA light rail yard but it did not happen in the operations control center," VTA Board Chairman Glenn Hendricks said.

Hendricks added he was proud of transit workers who stayed on the job and kept moving commuters even in the face of Wednesday's mass shooting.

"A horrible tragedy has happened today," Hendricks said. “I could not be more proud of the VTA organization. As I drove here, I saw VTA buses out on the road."

The area is also in the center of regional law enforcement operations, as the rail yard is within a half-mile of San Jose Police Department, Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office and District Attorney headquarters.

The shooting comes amid a yearlong rise in nationwide gun violence and record firearm sales.

Karine Jean-Pierre, White House principal deputy press secretary, said the federal government is keeping in close contact with law enforcement in San Jose.

Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre's opportunity to take questions from the White House press pool involved the mass shooting in San Jose.

"We will continue to stay in close contact with them and offer any assistance as needed," she said. "We still don't know all of the details ... but what's clear, as the president has said, is that we are suffering from an epidemic of gun violence in this country, both in mass shootings and in the lives that are being taken in daily gun violence that doesn't make national headlines."

Woman decided to climb into an animal enclosure and fed spider monkeys some Flaming Hot Cheetos.

If you want to be a thrill seeker, you might want to get life insurance.

A Texas woman was filmed trying to feed spider monkeys after climbing into an exhibit at the El Paso Zoo.

The video shows the legal clerk known now as Lucy Rae sitting on a rock appearing to throw food at two monkeys. The smiling woman later climbs out of the exhibit. The food was Flaming Hot Cheetos, a spicy corn snack that could upset the primates stomachs. Also the woman could have brought potential COVID-19 infection to the primates.

After footage surfaced on social media, the woman's law firm released a statement saying that she had been fired.

"We learned this morning that the individual who was filmed trespassing in the spider monkey enclosure of the El Paso Zoo was an employee of Lovett Law Firm," the company said Monday. "She has been terminated."

The firm, which did not name the woman, called her behavior "irresponsible and reckless."

"We support the El Paso Zoo and our thoughts go out to the spider monkeys, Libby and Sunday, and hope that they will recover from this very traumatic experience," the statement continued.

She became the butt of ridicule for her stupidity.

The El Paso Zoo and police department did not immediately return a request for comment on Tuesday.

Zoo officials told the El Paso Times that they cannot let the woman's dangerous stunt go unpunished and they plan on pressing charges against her.

"This young lady decided to hop a fence, climb through some bushes, drop down into a four-feet deep moat, walk across the moat and then try to feed the spider monkeys," director Joe Montisano said. "It was stupid."

He said the woman is lucky the situation ended the way it did.

"These are primates. They are strong; they have canine teeth. They can scratch. We don't interact with them on the daily," Montisano told the newspaper. "And we don't interact with them without a barrier in between us." 

Those animals could bite your hand off. The zoo would have to kill them if they attack a human inside the enclosure. Then of course, the victim would have life altering injuries if the primates would react in a violent nature.

Now the zoo is planning on taking steps to prevent intruders from coming into the enclosures.

Montisano said that because of the woman's actions, the zoo might have to get a higher fence around the spider monkey enclosure, which will make it harder for guests to see them.

Spider monkeys are territorial and vicious when cornered. The male can land a bite that take chunks of skin. They also have fangs that penetrate the bone. They are omnivores and often eat fruits, nuts, small birds, insects and lizards.

Some have been raised domestically. But regardless of domesticated or wild, these animals are vicious when they bite.

The world is stupid. Everything for click bait.

Many people pay the price for stupidity.

Karen Abbott, the governor of Texas signed off a law that allows unlicensed gun owners to carry firearms in public. It's a dog whistle appeal to white nationalists who want to leave states in the Midwest and Northeast. With the state of Texas population's growing, the white nationalists are fearing a Brown invasion.

So in order to protect their "way of life" the white nationalist Republicans will sign off legislation that go against the very things they were voted out for.

A Texas woman was shot by an off-duty cop in Copperas Cove on Sunday after a road rage incident. 

Lecresha Murray said that the argument happened after she made a U-turn in front of the officer's car because she started feeling sick and all of this led to the shooting.

"I did a U-turn in the middle of the street because I was going to go to the hospital," Murray said. "I started feeling sick."

The police responded around 12:45pm Sunday after calls came in for reports of gunfire.

A shooting in a residential neighborhood involved a motorist and an off-duty cop.

When the cops arrived, they discovered the off-duty cop was involved in the shooting. 

The off-duty cop was not injured during the incident, but Murray was taken to local hospital for treatments of a gunshot wound towards her leg.

During the argument, the man pulled out a gun and shot her.

"When I turned around to run back to my truck and get out of there, I just heard pop pop pop pop and all I could do was bend over and duck," she said.

She said the man did not identify himself as a member of law enforcement. He did after the shooting.

Residents gathered around to hear the shooting and that's when the cop identified himself.

"We were not going to have in this neighborhood because this neighborhood is quiet and cohesive and we were not going to have this mess," one resident said to the junk food media anonymously.

Murray's daughter called 9-1-1.

One resident told her children to hide in the closet, but many others stood in their front yards yelling to the man with the gun to put it away.

"If the guy with the gun tried to run, he wasn't going [anywhere] because the whole neighborhood would have tackled him because we were all out here," a neighbor said.

Murray was treated for her injuries and released from the hospital.

The cop is in the freezer pending an investigation into whether the use of force was justified. The Texas Department of Safety's Texas Rangers are investigating the matter.

Actor, singer, dancer and playwright Billy Porter announced he is living with HIV. He confirms he's lived with the virus for over 14 years. He said that he's not stopping.

The 51-year old actor is a Tony Award winning actor who is best known for his role as drag queen Lola in the musical play "Kinky Boots." He is known for "cracking open" his feminine side to confront the toxic masculinity.

He has won an Emmy for his role in the FX drama "Pose" and is considered one of the most influential people in the world. Time Magazine named him that in 2020.

The actor shared his health status while being interviewed with The Hollywood Reporter. He found out he tested positive for HIV in June 2007. He said that it was a difficult experience to hear that news. He also suffers from type-2 diabetes and filed for bankruptcy the following year. He said that he had to leave his New York home to live in Long Island during the pandemic fearing that having a pre-existing health condition.

For the first time since his diagnosis in 2007, the Pose star spoke publicly about his experience with the illness, and what it means for him to play an HIV-positive character on mainstream television. While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he said, "Well, I'm living so that I can tell the story. There's a whole generation that was here, and I stand on their shoulders."

When Porter found out he had HIV, it was long before his Tony-winning stint on Broadway's Kinky Boots. In fact, it was during a particularly difficult time in his life, shortly after finding out he had type 2 diabetes and signing bankruptcy papers. "The shame of that time compounded with the shame that had already [accumulated] in my life silenced me, and I have lived with that shame in silence for 14 years," he said. "HIV-positive, where I come from, growing up in the Pentecostal church with a very religious family, is God's punishment."

For a long time, Porter kept his diagnosis a secret from many people, including his mother. "I was trying to have a life and a career, and I wasn't certain I could if the wrong people knew," he explained. "It would just be another way for people to discriminate against me in an already discriminatory profession."

With Pose, the actor found a unique opportunity in portraying Pray Tell, a character struggling with his own HIV-positive diagnosis. He described the role as "an opportunity to work through the shame [of HIV] and where I have gotten to in this moment. And the brilliance of Pray Tell and this opportunity was that I was able to say everything that I wanted to say through a surrogate." Porter earned an Emmy for this performance in 2019.

After deep self-reflection over the past year in quarantine, Porter decided it was finally time to tell his mom. He and his sister had planned to get vaccinated, pay her a visit, and tell her during the trip. But instead, on the last day of filming Pose, Porter chose to call his mom and tell her over the phone. He recalls her telling him, "You've been carrying this around for 14 years? Don't ever do this again. I'm your mother, I love you no matter what. And I know I didn't understand how to do that early on, but it's been decades now."

Porter realized that part of why he kept his diagnosis to himself was his own embarrassment. "It wasn't a fear that [my status] was going to come out or that somebody was going to expose me; it was just the shame that it had happened in the first place. And as a Black person, particularly a Black man on this planet, you have to be perfect or you will get killed. But look at me. Yes, I am the statistic, but I've transcended it. This is what HIV-positive looks like now."

Porter has been happily married to husband Adam Smith for three years. They're even trying to start a family, the star revealed. At this point in his life, on his journey of healing, he felt it was the right time to share his story with the world, on his own terms.

"I'm the healthiest I've been in my entire life," Porter said. "So it's time to let all that go and tell a different story. There's no more stigma—let's be done with that."

George Floyd's family meet with Biden to discuss how they can get the lazy senators to pass the George Floyd Policing bill.

As President Joe Biden continues to push for the Senate to pass the George Floyd Policing Bill, state Republicans are passing white nationalist laws. They are passing abortion bills, bans on mask mandates while in a pandemic, bans on critical race theory, bans on transgender children playing sports, bans on social media platforms banning controversial agitators, ending the safety net for millions of struggling Americans who lost their jobs in a pandemic, and issuing recounts on ballots, limiting voter participation, making voter suppression laws, preparing for partisan redistricting and riling up extremists with conspiracy theories about Americans who oppose their agenda.

The president met with Floyd's family and urged them to keep pressure on lawmakers who continue to stand in the way of progress.

They place Floyd in handcuffs.

George Floyd was murdered by a former Minneapolis Police officer on this day. He was detained for allegedly passing off a bad bill at a local grocery store. He was being detained and later arrested for the encounter. During the encounter, the dirty cop would place his knee on the neck of Floyd and let him slowly die in front of a dozen people. If it wasn't for a 17-year old girl filming the man pleading for life and watching him die, we would have not launched a movement for progressive change.

Floyd's death has shook the world. People were outraged over the incident. The calls for justice were heard and the need for change was necessary. Washed Up 45 ignored the call and paid the price. The Republican Party continues to ignore the call by pushing forward distractions and slandering the name of George Floyd.

Four dirty cops face criminal charges. The one who put his knee on Floyd's neck is served.

They refuse to acknowledge systematic racism in the United States. That insurrection on January 6, 2021 has shown the world how the police treated white criminals from Black and Brown criminals.

The anniversary of George Floyd’s death was supposed to be a milestone moment, a time to mark passage of legislation to “root out systemic racism” in the criminal justice system, in the words of President Joe Biden. Instead, Floyd’s family visited Washington on Tuesday to mourn with Biden and prod Congress to act as they commemorate the loss of their brother, father and son one year ago.

“Today is the day that he set the world in a rage,” Floyd’s brother Philonise said, addressing reporters at the Capitol alongside family members, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other lawmakers. “We need to be working together to make sure that people do not live in fear in America any more,” he said.

Later, family members spent an hour with Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House.

“It was a remembrance of what happened to my brother,” Philonese Floyd said. He said of the meeting with Biden, “It was great, he’s a genuine guy.”

Biden told them “he just wants the bill to be meaningful and that it holds George’s legacy intact,” said George Floyd’s nephew Brandon Williams.

A sister, Bridgett Floyd, stayed away, aiming to come only when there is a bill to be signed into law.

“That’s when I will make my way to D.C.,” she said from Minnesota.

George Floyd’s death sparked a global reckoning over racism and growing calls for police reform, but a legislative response has been elusive. Still, congressional negotiators remain optimistic about the prospects for a bill and they’ve displayed a steady solidarity that’s unusual for such talks, striking a consistently optimistic tone and never publicly sniping at each other.

“We hope to bring comfort to your family by passing the final bill very soon,” Pelosi said.

It’s a high-profile legislative fight where Biden has notably taken a back seat, preferring to leave the work of crafting a compromise to lawmakers on Capitol Hill, in contrast to his fevered advocacy, both public and private, for his infrastructure bill and the COVID-19 relief package.

“We have been respecting the space needed for negotiators to have these discussions,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said.

She and congressional negotiators declined to offer a new deadline for reaching an agreement. California Rep. Karen Bass, the top House Democratic bargainer, said talks would continue “until we get the job done” while the top Republican bargainer, South Carolina Sen. Karen Scott, said separately that negotiations “have a long way to go still but it’s starting to take form.”

The Democratic-controlled House approved a sweeping bill in March that would make it easier for individual police officers to be sued and charged with crimes. It would also ban chokeholds, limit no-knock warrants and create a national database of officers with histories of complaints and disciplinary problems.

That bill has gone nowhere in the Senate, where the 50 Democrats will need support from at least 10 Republicans to overcome a bill-killing filibuster. GOP lawmakers have preferred more modest changes.

While Biden set the anniversary of Floyd’s death as the initial deadline for legislation to reach his desk, the issue of police reform is a particularly politically thorny one. Congressional negotiators have struggled to find a compromise that can make it through an evenly divided Senate.

Ben Crump, the Floyd family’s lawyer, called on Biden to “reiterate that we need to get it passed.”

White House advisers say Biden and his team have been in frequent touch with Capitol Hill negotiators over the legislation, but they believe this is an issue in which a high-profile public campaign by the president may do more harm than good.

But some activists say they’d like to see the president be more outspoken in advocating for the bill.

“President Biden has left it to members of Congress, and it’s in their hands right now. But the president will need to step up to make sure we get it across the finish line,” said Judith Browne Dianis, executive director of the Advancement Project, a racial justice organization.

Still, it’s up to Congress, said Wade Henderson, interim president and CEO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, in a statement to the AP.

“It’s absolutely vital that members of Congress put partisan politics aside and pass meaningful reform to hold police officers responsible who act outside of their oath to protect and defend,” he said.

Floyd died on May 25, 2020 after that former Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck for more than nine minutes, while Floyd repeatedly said he couldn’t breathe. His death sparked months of nationwide protests focused on racism and a renewed debate over police reform in the U.S. Chauvin was convicted last month on multiple charges stemming from Floyd’s death.

Congressional negotiators’ chief stumbling block has been “qualified immunity,” which generally shields individual officers from civil lawsuits. Democrats have wanted to eliminate that protection while South Carolina Sen. Karen Scott, the lead Republican bargainer, has proposed retaining that immunity for officers but allowing lawsuits against police departments.

While progressives and many criminal justice reform advocates are insistent that the bill eliminate protections for individual officers, some Democrats, most notably House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC) and Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) have said they could see a compromise on the issue. Senate Minority Leader Karen McConnell (R-KY)., has said he wouldn’t support any bill that ends qualified immunity.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the House Democrats passed their version of the bill in early 2021. It's been stalled in the Senate by the white nationalists in the Republican Party and two Democrats who want bipartisanship. Sen. Karen Sinema (D-AZ) and Sen. Karen Manchin (D-WV) have felt the pressure and may eventually support the elimination of the filibuster.

No matter what we tell them, they believe the election was "stolen" from Washed Up 45.

To this day, I still drive around this state and see campaign signs from Washed Up 45 and Mr. Karen Pence. The signs are still in people's lawns or hanging on trees. It's like the election never ended.

About a majority of Republican voters seriously believe the 2020 U.S. election was rigged to favor Joe Biden. The election was faced with a whole lot of misinformation from the former president and his white nationalist allies.

A majority of Republicans still believe Washed Up 45 won the 2020 U.S. presidential election and blame his loss to Joe Biden on illegal voting, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

Still bitching about his loss. 

The May 17-19 national poll found that 53% of Republicans believe the former president, their party's nominee, is the “true president” now, compared to 3% of Democrats and 25% of all Americans.

About one-quarter of adults believe the Nov. 3 election was tainted by illegal voting, including 56% of Republicans, according to the poll. The figures were roughly the same in a poll that ran from Nov. 13-17 which found that 28% of all Americans and 59% of Republicans felt that way.

A Democrat, Biden won by more than seven million votes. Dozens of courts rejected Washed Up 45’s challenges to the results, but he and his supporters have persisted in pushing baseless conspiracy theories on conservative news outlets.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll showed that 61% of Republicans believe the election was "stolen" from the former president. Only about 29% of Republicans believe he should share some of the blame for his supporters' Jan. 6 deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Still, 67% of overall respondents say they trust election officials in their town to do their job honestly, including 58% of Republicans, according to the poll.

The November and May polls were both conducted online, in English, throughout the United States. The May poll gathered responses from 2,007 adults, including 909 Democrats and 754 Republicans. The poll has a credibility interval, a measure of precision, of about 4 percentage points.
