President Joe Biden heads to CNN for a town hall discussion on how he is going to make the push for his coronavirus relief package. As of today, we're at 525,000 Americans dead from the coronavirus.
The Democratic-controlled Congress is hoping to get enough members to support the president's agenda.
With the impeachment trial over, the Senate will eventually begin confirming the president's nominees and work on the COVID-19 relief package. With the Senate evenly split, Biden will count on the 48 Democratic senators, two independents and Vice President Kamala Harris to get things done.
Anderson Cooper will moderate this town hall in Milwaukee.
The town hall will be an introduction to America. He will address the push to vaccinate every American to stop the coronavirus from spreading. He also wants to roll out his plan to send students back to school.
The town hall comes as the Biden administration is pushing for his $1.9 COVID-19 relief package to be passed quickly. The Senate has confirmed they'll be doing a budget reconciliation to get it through.
Biden is going to mount a campaign to pressure Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) to jump on board with the $15 minimum wage increase.
CNN prepares for the big show. Joe Biden will address Americans through is first town hall as the President of the United States.
He will also address the elephant in the room, Donald J. Trump. The junk food media is still dealing with him. Ever since the insurrection, Trump is still being mentioned on many platforms it's stealing the thunder from the new president.
Biden has stayed mum on the Trump impeachment and acquittal. He will address the former president in some fashion.
The successful wins of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan helped the Democrats rebuild the "Blue Wall." He also managed to pick off Arizona and Georgia and gave the states two Democratic senators.
Biden owes a lot to Blacks, Native Americans, Muslims, Hispanics, Latinos and women. He will also address systematic racism in the country.
Biden is going to make Vice President Kamala Harris visible in his administration.
CNN will likely win the night in key demographics. He and Harris will be doing interviews with not only CNN but ABC, CBS, NBC and MSNBC in the coming weeks.
Fox News, the far-right propaganda outlet is still struggling to build back it's faithful resistance. After the network called Arizona correctly for Biden, Trump had told his supporters to watch OANN and Newsmax.
Fox News continues to push baseless conspiracies about Biden and Harris. It has also tinkered with white nationalist propaganda with its primetime hosts running the same old tired playbook of culture war issues.
Tune in to the Biden townhall on CNN. It will be streaming on the app, your cable provider and it will play clips of it soon on YouTube.
The white woman who called the law on Christian Cooper will no longer face criminal charges..
The Manhattan district attorney's office dropped the misdemeanor charges stemming from falsely reporting an incident to the police. She made a baseless accusation about Cooper attacking her.
Her name is Amy Cooper. This will be the only time I mention her name.
The woman had her charges dropped on Tuesday.
"Given the issues at hand and [the suspect's] lack of criminal background, we offered to her, consistent with our position on many misdemeanor cases involving first arrest, an alternative, restorative justice resolution," Assistant District Attorney Joan Illuzzi told a Manhattan judge.
The program is designed to not only punish the defendant in question but to educate and promote community healing.
The suspect completed the restorative justice sessions to the prosecutor's satisfaction, the Manhattan District Attorney's office moved to dismiss the charge.
Christian Cooper said that the woman calling the law on him was an act of racism.
The judge then granted a motion to dismiss the charges. Christian Cooper declined to participate in the criminal justice process, but added the District Attorney's Office went forward with the proceedings because it determined the offense was not just against Cooper, but also "a threat to the community if allowed to go unchecked."
Last May, this woman was walking her dog in an area where birdwatchers were. Cooper had asked her to not have the dog in the area because it scared the birds. She and Cooper got into an argument. The woman then decided to call the law on him and made baseless accusations that he was attacking her and her dog.
While being recorded, she was strangling the dog with the leash.
She was fired out the cannon at her job and the rescue dog shelter distanced themselves from her.
She was the catalysis of the "racial unrest in the United States."
The deaths of Ahmaud Arbrey, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks and this incident have sparked unrest in the country.
It exposed systematic racism in the United States. It also eliminated the cutesy names folks been given white instigators. They now call them Karens and Kevins. This is the new theme of white people calling the law or acting foolish around people of color.
These folks are losing their jobs and their reputations because of overreacting to minor issues.
Illinois Republican who voted to impeach the 45th President of the United States is being disowned by his far-right family members.
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) voted with his conscience. He said that the former president, Donald J. Trump incited a mob to disrupt the peaceful transition of power. Kinzinger said he should be held accountable.
Well his extended family believes that he betrayed Trump. They even said that he'll never get the respect of the far-right agitators who promoted and instigated the "Big Lie."
Guess who they wrote in their two page letter denouncing Kinzinger?
You guessed it.... Sean "Screwball" Hannity. The softball to the Donald J. Trump legacy and Republican Party is mentioned as well as that dying Rush Limbaugh, those assholes Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Greg Kelly and Bill O'Reilly got a shout out as well.
This two page letter written by Greg and Karen Otto shares a lot of conspiracy theories and their devoting to GOD! They said that Kinzinger sided with the "Devil's Army" which consists of the Democrats and the junk food media.
Adam,
Oh my, what a disappointment you are to us and to GOD! We were once so proud of your accomplishments! instead you go against your Christian principles and join the "Devil's Army" (Democrats and the fake news media). How do you call yourself a Christian when you join the "Devil's Army" believing in abortion! We thought you were "smart" enough to see how the left is brainwashing so many "so called good people" including yourself and the many other GOP members. You have even falling for their socialism ideals!
So, so sad!
Republican lawmaker gets death threats.
President Trump is not perfect, but neither are you or any of us for that matter! It is not for us to judge or be judged! But he is a Christian! (If God can forgive and use King David in the Bible, he can do the same with President Trump.) Franklin Graham, Robert Jefferies, to just name a few, of many pastors, who mentor President Trump, know that he is a believer! Obviously you did not hear President Trump's Christian Message to the American people (fake news media did not cover his message) where he actually gave the plan of salvation, instructing people how to repent and ask the Savior into their heart to be "born again!" (to believe in John 3:16) When was the last time you proclaimed your faith Adam? (Oh, we forgot you now belong to the "Devil's Army.") you won't convince us otherwise with your horrible, rude accusations of President Trump! (To embrace a party that believes in abortion and socialism is the ultimate sin). We should list even more grievances against you, but decided you are not worth more of our time to list them, We have said enough!
You should be very proud that you have lost the respect of Lou Dobbs, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Greg Kelly, etc. and most importantly in our book, Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh and us!
It is now embarassing to us that we are related to you. You have embarrassed the Kinzinger family name! We are not judging you. This letter is our opinion of you!
Oh, by the way, good luck in your fundraising endeavors. We are [supporting GOP members who back President Trump] and Christian supporters that feel the same way we do. Also very disappointed with the many other GOP [members] that sided with the Democrats. (We should demand our money back!)
The following Kinzinger family members have asked that their names be added to this letter:
Greg and Karen Otto
[Redacted]
P.S.
For your information, many more family members, feel the same as we do. They just didn't have the courage to sign our letter or write their own letter! Not us, we are thoroughly disgusted with you! And, oh by the way, we are calling for your removal from office! I have received numerous calls concerning your actions and egregious behavior towards our President of the United States, Donald J. Trump!
CC: Many conservative Republicans
*President Trump has done more for the American people in four years than you, the RINOs and the Democrats done in years!
Eleven members of his family signed a letter lambasting him for his vote last month to impeach the then-president, who they defended as a Christian.
Kinzinger, one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump last month, also voted this month to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) of her committee posts for espousing conspiracy theories.
He’s betting his career on disavowing Trumpism, pushing for an alternative path for the GOP. He recently launched a "Country 1st" political action committee, which seeks to put some money behind the political effort confronting a party largely still aligned with the former president.
"The reality is this — this is the time to choose," Kinzinger said during an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" on Jan. 31. "Let's take a look at the last four years how far we have come in a bad way, how backward-looking we are, how much we peddle darkness and division. That's not the party I ever signed up for."
In the interview, he hinted at the letter, saying he'd received two certified letters "disowning me."
It's likely to be an uphill, lonely battle: During the impeachment vote, Kinzinger asked Democrats for more speaking time to make a bipartisan pitch for the impeachment of Trump, according to the Times, but was denied. Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming voted to impeach Trump and only narrowly held on to her leadership position in the House when her party mounted an effort to strip her of it.
Kinzinger, 42, serves as the U.S. Representative from the Illinois 16th Congressional District which includes the suburbs of Chicago and eastern portion of Rockford. He served in the Air Force Special Operations Command, Air Combat Command, Air Mobility Command and the Wisconsin Air National Guard. He is a Lt. Colonel. He was actively used to patrol the U.S.-Mexico border under command of Trump.
He is as far-right as they come but he's not Trumpian which is the cause of the uproar. He is married to Sofia Boza-Holman.
The Republican Party is having a civil war within itself. They used to support the Constitution and ran on the canard of the "rule of law."
Trump was not convicted by the Senate. It was widely expected the Republicans were not going to convict Trump. Nonetheless, Democrats were hoping to at least convince Republicans who were on the sidelines to support convicting him. They managed to get seven Republicans to support conviction.
Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA), Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE), Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) and Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) joined the Democrats in convicting Trump. Burr and Cassidy were surprising.
The Republicans have sent a signal to domestic extremists. They said that there actions aren't the fault of a high ranking leader.
Kinzinger served in the military. He fought for his dumbass family's rights.
Republicans only care about power and nothing more.
No conservatives, you don't get to say Blue Lives Matter.
You don't support police reform nor accountability. You support moving on. We're tired of moving on to the next tragedy. This shit needs to stop now. If we have to vote to replace these white nationalists, we will do everything in our power to do so.
The Republican Party talks a mean game about being the "party of law & order" but in reality, they want to enforce law on the oppressed.
Republicans cater to dirty cops, crooked politicians, crooked religious leaders, white nationalists, anti-government extremists, Karens and conspiracy nuts.
Republicans and conservatives prove to be shameless hypocrites. The amount of white privilege and phony outrage being cranked up by these politicians and agitators is pathetic. Do they not know what we're facing fight now?
The mob could have killed these lawmakers. It's a damn shame they're too embolden to their white nationalist base to realize that we're going to expect more!
It appears that Rush H. Limbaugh III's chemotherapy treatments aren't working. It seems like we're within days or weeks before we hear the news of this far-right agitator's passing. I don't wish death on people but the world might be a better place knowing this divisive character is out of the picture.
Since 1989, Limbaugh was the vanguard of talk radio. He is the No. 1 most listened to talk radio host.
He has an audience of 20 million listeners.
Now he's finding himself at a place where he can't be the "valiant resistance" to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
He announced on his radio show that he had Stage IV lung cancer. He said that he would take time off his radio show to get treatment. Since his return, he saw the election loss of Donald J. Trump.
Trump given Limbaugh and the ilk of far-right radio millions of listeners and promotion.
Producer James Golden, who is known by his pseudonym Bo Snerdley to millions of Limbaugh’s listeners, provided a brief update on Twitter.
Our prayers are with Rush as he continues to fight the illness he as been afflicted with. We are still praying for a remission. Today @KenMatthews will fill in for Rush. Thanks for all of your prayers, kind words and wishes for our Rush. God Bless you.
The 70-year-old Limbaugh learned he had advanced lung cancer in January 2020 and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Trump at the State of the Union address shortly afterwards. The talk pioneer has missed shows to undergo treatment on a regular basis, but he has returned to his golden EIB microphone whenever possible.
Back in December, Limbaugh opened up his final broadcast of 2020 by thanking his listeners and supporters for supporting him throughout his career and his health struggle.
"My point in all of this today is gratitude," he said. "My point in all of this is to say thanks and tell everybody involved how much I love you from the bottom of a sizable and growing and still-beating heart."
America's most controversial talk radio host may pass away soon.
Limbaugh said he was originally stunned by his diagnosis and added it had been as hard on those in his orbit as it was on him personally.
"I can't be self-absorbed about it, when that is the tendency when you are told that you've got a due date," he said, choking up. "You have an expiration date. A lot of people never get told that, so they don't face life this way."
In October of last year, the conservative icon told listeners who was "under a death sentence" because of the illness.
"It’s tough to realize that the days where I do not think I’m under a death sentence are over," Limbaugh said. "Now, we all are, is the point. We all know that we’re going to die at some point, but when you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it."
Limbaugh is considered one of the most influential media members of the past 50 years and has played a consequential role in conservative politics since his radio show began in 1988. The program has grown into the most listened-to radio show in the United States.
"The Rush Limbaugh Show" first aired in 1988 and has earned a variety of awards and honors. Limbaugh is a five-time winner of the National Association of Broadcasters' Marconi Award for "Excellence in Syndicated and Network Broadcasting," a No. 1 New York Times best-selling author and a member of the Radio Hall of Fame and National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
It's President's Day and I found it to be a slow posting day.
About 60% of the United States has a deadly weather event happening in real time. There is a major winter storm that spreads across the country that has the potential to shut power off to 150 million Americans.
We still have a global pandemic. The coronavirus pandemic has killed over 500,000 Americans and there's no sign of the pandemic ending. Even with the vaccines being rolled out, folks are being either delayed to get them or having reservations about the outcome.
The President of the United States, Joe Biden returns from Camp David to head to the White House. He spent the Valentine's Day weekend with his family at the resort in Maryland.
The president declared a natural disaster in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
I am pretty much bored right now.
What is there to cover on this holiday?
The peaceful transfer of power. Then president George W. Bush introduces Barack Obama with his father, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.
I mean we do honor the 45 men who had the opportunity to be the President of the United States.
From George Washington to Joe Biden, 45 men had an opportunity to live at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
The President of the United States is the biggest job for one person. Many who held the title had dealt with issues where a decision could impact the world.
So I am going to waste a moment of your time going through the list of presidents.
It's pretty much the only thing we got going right now while the winter storm is happening.

Justin Timberlake takes a moment to apologize to Janet Jackson and Brittney Spears.

I haven't forgotten the infamous SuperBowl XXXVIII halftime show where R&B/pop singer Justin Timberlake ripped the pastel off Janet Jackson's wardrobe causing a portion of her breast to stick out.
That was known as the "wardrobe malfunction."
Since the incident, Janet has not recovered from the incident. It is ranked one of the most memorable performance in American history. It led to then President George W. Bush and his cronies to fine CBS.
It led to the NFL to permanently vet the performers and force halftime shows go through routines so an event like that never happens again.
Pepsi immediately severed ties with Janet. ViacomCBS (then Viacom and CBS separate at the time) did a Colin Kaepernick on Janet. The companies enforced a blacklist of Janet's music and it led to a massive drop in her sales. The companies refused to play her music and her videos.
Timberlake and Jackson haven't spoken since.
It was alleged a feud between the two emerged when Timberlake escaped the situation unscathed. He went on to produce two hit albums which reached pop and R&B charts.
Timberlake had previously dated pop singer Brittney Spears. The two were an item for at least three years. The New York Times did a controversial documentary about her troubles in the spotlight and they referenced David Letterman and Timberlake as part of the problems Spears faced in her career.
The infamous wardrobe malfunction cost Janet Jackson dearly. Justin Timberlake managed to survive the scandal. Almost 20 years later, Timberlake finally acknowledged he let her down.
Timberlake who remained out of the drama to be father again finally addressed Jackson and Spears in a heartfelt letter.
In a statement posted to his Instagram account on Friday, the singer issued an apology to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson for "missteps" that he says contributed to "a system that condones misogyny and racism."
"I've seen the messages, tags, comments and concerns and I want to respond," he wrote. "I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right."
Timberlake did not in his statement offer specific examples of the actions he regrets, but his comments come at a time of renewed conversations relating to two separate tabloid-powered periods in his career involving Spears and Jackson.
Spears, who is in the midst of a high-profile legal battle relating to her conservatorship, found vocal supporters in the wake of the airing of "Framing Britney Spears," a documentary examining the singer's career and the often shameful scrutiny she has faced in the media. Timberlake's part in seeming to contribute to that -- and, ultimately, the effect that coverage may have had on her mental health -- is addressed in the film.
Spears and Timberlake famously dated for several years at what was arguably the height of their teen-era careers.
Jackson, meanwhile, has been something of a staple subject of conversation around Super Bowl time in recent years, with most recalling the unfair ire that was directed the superstar's way following the controversial "wardrobe malfunction" halftime show. (In the incident, you'll recall, Timberlake ripped off Jackson's bodice, revealing her right breast, during their performance.)
This year, Jackson's supporters, who feel she suffered consequences to her career that Timberlake did not, used #JanetJacksonAppreciationDay to show their love. Jackson acknowledged the movement with a few retweets on Twitter.
"I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed," Timberlake said. "I also feel compelled to respond, in part, because everyone involved deserves better and most importantly, because this is a larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be a part of and grow from."
Timberlake also used his statement to address the "flawed" music industry that he said "sets men, especially white men, up for success."
"It's designed this way. As a man in a privileged position I have to be vocal about this," he said. "Because of my ignorance, I didn't recognize it for all that it was while it was happening in my own life but I do not want to ever benefit from others being pulled down ever again."
Timberlake is now married to actress Jessica Biel.
"I have not been perfect in navigating all of this throughout my career," Timberlake added. "I know this apology is a first step and doesn't absolve the past. I want to take accountability for my missteps in all of this as well as be part of a world that uplifts and supports."
He added: "I care deeply about the wellbeing of the people I love and have loved. I can do better and will do better."
White nationalist Lindsey Graham tries to deflect his role in the insurrection by blaming Vice President Kamala Harris.

Fresh off his vote to not convict former president Donald J. Trump, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) decides to make the assertion that Republicans want revenge and they're willing to invent criminal charges against Democrats.
So on GOP Sundays, the South Carolina senator made the bold announcement that if Republicans do win back the House and the U.S. Senate, they will impeach and remove Vice President Kamala Harris.
On what charges the senator is accusing the vice president of doing?
According to Graham and the far-right, Harris admits that ending cash bail for suspects is an impeachable offense.
During an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," Graham harshly criticized the trial record, calling it a "joke," before pivoting to Harris, a former US senator for California who has been in her new position for less than a month.
Graham, who was one of the 43 Republican senators that voted to acquit the former president, on Saturday said "the case presented to the Senate by the House Managers was based on hearsay after hearsay combined with media reports."
Graham admits that Trump grab 'em by the.....
"We've opened Pandora's box to future presidents," Graham expressed on Fox News. "If you use this model, I don't know how Kamala Harris doesn't get impeached if the Republicans take over the House because she actually bailed out rioters and one of the rioters went back to the streets and broke somebody's head open. We've opened Pandora's box here and I'm sad for the country."
Graham is making an unsubstantiated connection between Harris's support of the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a nonprofit organization that assists low-income individuals who need money for bail, and the rioting that occurred in the state after the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis last year.
After Harris asked her Twitter followers "to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota," Trump and Republicans like Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas tried to conflate peaceful demonstrators fighting for racial justice with those who were actually rioting in the streets.
According to The Washington Post, few of the protesters actually needed assistance from the Minnesota Freedom Fund, and roughly 92 percent of the people charged during the protests weren't required to post bail.
