Virginia removed its statue of Robert E. Lee from the U.S. Capitol overnight. In the place of that traitor is a Black shero. A young woman who rose to challenge the status quo. A woman who helped pioneer a cause to bring racial equality to America's schools.

Gov. Ralph Northam announced the move came after a commission established earlier this year unanimously voted in July to take down and replace the statue. The likeness of the disgraceful traitor had represented Virginia in the National Statuary Hall Collection for 111 years alongside a likeness of George Washington, the first American president.

Washington was a slaveholder as well.

In a statement on Monday, Northam said that the Confederacy is “a symbol of Virginia’s racist and divisive history.”

“It’s past time we tell our story with images of perseverance, diversity and inclusion,” he said.

On Wednesday, the Virginia Commission for Historical Statues in the United States Capitol chose to replace that statue with teenage civil rights activist Barbara Rose Johns.

In 1951, Johns led students in a walkout in protest of the conditions of her high school.

Johns was attending majority Black Robert Russa Moton High School in Farmville, Virginia. 

We still have the same shit in American schools. Suburban schools have better while the city schools continue to have the worst. White flight, is the theory that racists leave the regions they believe are too colorized for areas with like-minded individuals. 

Barbara Rose Johns will be honored in the U.S. Capitol.

Johns led the precursor for the NAACP lawsuit against the school boards that discriminated.

It led to the Brown v. Board of Education decision which integrated schools.

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) and Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D-VA) and a representative from Northam’s office were there for the removal.

“I look forward to seeing a trailblazing young woman of color represent Virginia in the U.S. Capitol, where visitors will learn about Barbara Johns’ contribution to America and be empowered to create positive change in their communities just like she did,” Kaine said.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), the House Speaker called for the immediate removal of statues of Confederate figures, welcomed the change on Monday. She vows to remove symbols of hate and division from the grounds of the Capitol.

“The halls of Congress are the very heart of our democracy, and the statues within the Capitol should embody our highest ideals as Americans,” Pelosi said. “There is no room for celebrating the bigotry of the Confederacy in the Capitol or any other place of honor in our country.” 

Lee will end up in the Virginia Museum of HIstory and Culture in Richmond.

Well, compromise did come at a price for the Democrats and Republicans. They have reached a deal on the pandemic emergency aid. 

The Democrat-controlled House and Republican-controlled Senate agreed to a $900 billion bill that will send long-awaited aid to small businesses, extend unemployment benefits, provide funding for vaccine distribution, send a $600 stimulus check to Americans making less than $75,000, and several other forms of economic relief and pandemic response assistance.

Congress will try to vote on this package by the end of the night. It will be accompanied by the funding to keep the government running until September 2021.

Americans are going to quickly condemn this. For example, getting $600 is a drop in the bucket.

Many can’t pay rent or any medical bills with this amount. Republicans were not budget hawks throughout President Donald J. Trump’s term. They supported giving tax cuts to the wealthy leading to massive debt. 

Trump’s four years piled on more debt than his predecessor Barack Obama. Trump golfed far more than his predecessor in his two terms. 

The Republicans obsession with curbing the nation’s debt and trying to stifle the safety net will be the usual tactics when Joe Biden takes office. 

The president-elect will be spending the next four years trying to clean up the mess the Republicans made. The Republicans will try to rewrite history and pretend they had no role in the actions they committed during Obama’s two terms. Trump’s one term and Biden’s presidency. 

It’s very pathetic that the middle class gets only a mere $600 while the wealthy continue to enjoy those tax cuts.

Jupiter and Saturn will appear together tonight. Hopefully, if you have no rain or snow in your area you have the opportunity to see a great planetary show. The two giant gas planets will be within eyesight. The beginning of the Winter quarter starts at 1:00pm. 

The Great Conjunction last happened in 1623 but could not be seen from Earth. The last time this happened in 1623 and 1226.

So this is the Christmas Star. It’s a rarity that planets are aligned in the same position.

The next time Jupiter and Saturn will be aligned will be March 15, 2080. I was born in 1980, so if I manage to make it to 2080, I will be 99-100 years old. I doubt I’ll live that long to see that happen.

The next time it could happen again is in 2400.

Jupiter is the largest of the Kuiper Belt planets. It is the fifth planet from the Sun and one of the largest in the Solar System. It has possibly 90 moons and is a ring planet. It rotates around the sun for at least 12 years.

Saturn is the second largest of the Kuiper Belt planets. It is the sixth planet from the Sun and most notable planet with rings. Besides Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune have rings. But Saturn is the most notable for its rings. It possibly 85 moons. It rotates around the sun every 30 years.

Hey, if you’re a homebody and need some social distancing fun, go outside and see the planets and stars. Of course, if it’s cold outside, please wear a jacket, a mask and gloves.

Comedian/actor/artist Jim Carrey will be stepping down from the role of President-elect Joe Biden. But fear not, we have a replacement.

The Canadian-American actor best known for his roles in Ace Ventura, The Mask, In Living Color and most recently Sonic The Hedgehog made the announcement on his social media.

Actor Alec Baldwin played President Donald J. Trump for almost the entire four years. Baldwin can retire the role of Trump once he is out of office.

Comedian/actress Maya Rudolph will continue to play the role of Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

The worst American video game in history is Atari’s E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. It was confirmed the remaining games were buried in a landfill in New Mexico. The game was considered a major flop. The designer Howard Scott Warshaw was condemned and Atari went bankrupt afterwards.

It appears that the most highly anticipated video game of the year flopped. The year 2020 sucks. Stay tuned for The Yearly Wrap-Up. 

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt. It takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. The player assumes the personality of V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat. It’s rated M for mature audiences.

The game was released on PlayStation 4, Stadia, Windows and Xbox One on December 10, 2020. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are slated for 2021 (possibly scrapped).

The game was widely criticized for bugs, particularly in the console versions which were also criticized for performance issues; Sony removed it from the PlayStation Store on December 17 until “further notice.”

Actor Keanu Reeves gave his blessing to the video game. He appears in the series as a character in the game.

The waitress is inside the table. CyberPunk 2077 had very bad bugs.

Sony’s decision to pull the game from its lineup hurt the brand badly. Not only did the pull come at a bad time, fans have said the game is terrible.

The rollout was delayed many times.

The game was proposed in 2012 and worked on for many years before the release. But somehow the product didn’t live up to the expectations. 

Folks are wanting refunds.

CD Projekt Red, based out of Poland was hoping to capitalize off the successes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Their success of The Witcher was one of the leading factors to bringing fans to CyberPunk 2077. 

But it was bugs in the game that drove it to failure. Some complained that saving the stages would crash the game. There were scenes that didn’t match up to the events. Characters were out of place in the video game and it had bad resolution which made the game seem pretty cheesy.

The entertainment industry took a big hit because of COVID-19. I am guessing that the company was hoping to rush this game before restrictions were imposed.

Megyn Kelly is a white nationalist who runs her mouth way too much. This was the woman who said that Santa Claus and Jesus were white and thought dressing up in Blackface was cool.

She interviewed Tara Reade, the woman who claimed Joe Biden sexually assaulted her without checking her credentials.  Kelly along with Andrea Tantaros and Gretchen Carlson managed to take down Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes. Now that she's gone from Fox News and NBC, she launched her podcast The Megyn Kelly Show and she says "nothing is off the table."

Like many washed up entertainers, they launch podcasts to stay relevant. They practically steal from folks who are on the come up. Kelly is a washed up journalist who is upset over New York state's COVID-19 emergency declarations. She is also upset that her elite private school is turning the page on racism.

So instead of fighting for change, she does white flight. Like often, white flight is a common when racist white people move from the urban areas to cities or states where there's no large minority populations.

This ostrich is a racist.

The posh Dalton School in Manhattan is mired in controversy after an eight-piece memo of staff and faculty’s anti-racist “demands” was leaked, proposing sweeping changes to staffing, training and curriculum at the elite preparatory school.

The Upper East Side School cost $54,180 in tuition. In-person classes remained cancelled since March -- even as other schools in New York City schools remained open.

The far-right agitator said she pulled her two sons from the elite school after a letter was sent around to faculty there that claimed “white districts across the country [are] full of future killer cops.”

The memo signed by 129 facility and staff members listed extensive proposals including the hiring of 12 dedicated diversity officers, giving half of all donations to New York’s public schools, and the elimination of AP classes if Black students’ scores don’t equal those of white students.

The agitator revealed on her podcast she is leaving New York City as she claims it was taken over by “woke” leftism.

In a Monday episode of her podcast, “The Megyn Kelly Show,” the former Fox News and NBC News host said that she had pulled her two sons out of their school and planned to move her daughter out of another city school as well, citing the schools’ responses to the May police killing of George Floyd, which sparked months of racial justice protests across the country. 

“After years of resisting it, we’re going to leave the city,” she began. “The schools have always been far-left, which doesn’t align with my own ideology, but I didn’t really care, most of my friends are liberals, it’s fine. I come from a Democrat family, I’m not offended at all by the ideology, and I lean center-left on some things."

“But they’ve gone around the bend," she continued. "I mean, they have gone off the deep end." 

Kelly specifically cited a letter that was circulated at her sons’ school within the diversity group, which Kelly said she and other white parents had joined to be “allies” and “stay attuned to what we can do.” 

The letter was written by Orleans Public Education Network Executive Director Nahliah Webber, who argued that “there’s a killer cop sitting in every school where White children learn” and that “White school districts across the country [are] full of future killer cops.” 

“They hear the litany of bad statistics and stereotypes about ‘scary’ Black people in their classes and on the news,” Webber wrote in a June blog post. “They gleefully soak in their White-washed history that downplays the holocaust of Indigenous, Native peoples and Africans in the Americas. They happily believe their all-White spaces exist as a matter of personal effort and willingly use violence against Black bodies to keep those spaces White."

“Yet whenever we talk about what’s wrong with the systems that train and socialize young minds to become violent and depraved adults who, say choose to choke people out as part of their jobs, all we ever hear is that Black children, Black families, Black communities, Black-NESS are 'behind' and stuck in gaps,” Webber continued. 

The education activist then questioned, “Where are the government-sponsored reports looking into how White mothers are raising culturally deprived children who think Black death is okay?”

Kelly, who said that the blog post was then distributed among the school’s faculty, condemned Webber’s analysis, questioning, “Which boy in my kid’s school is the future killer cop? Is it my boy? Which boy is it? Because I don’t happen to believe that they’re in there.”

Kelly’s independently produced podcast currently holds third place in Apple’s news commentary rankings after officially launching in September. 

Upon announcing its launch, Kelly said that the show would have “no safe spaces here.”

“There will be spaces that challenge you, make you think, help you understand, stimulate your intellect and help build resiliency," she said in a statement to The Hill at the time. "The vast majority of Americans are tougher than people think — they can handle sharp, compelling discussions about tough issues.”

Jeremih barely survived the coronavirus. He was one of the lucky ones who survived the severe stages of the COVID-19.

The 33-year old singer/rapper/actor Jeremy Felton was placed under a ventilator in the intensive care for nearly two months.

He was at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. His representatives said that his condition was “rare for a young man his age without underlying conditions.”

Jeremih thanks his doctors, his fans, Chance the Rapper, 50 Cent and Sean “Puffy” Combs (known as Diddy) for their blessings.

“I will forever be grateful. I would also like to thank my family and friends for all their prayers and well wishes. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude,” he said. “I would also like to thank all my fans and people around the world who prayed for me. I’m getting stronger everyday, and look forward to spending time with my sons.”

In an interview on Shade45 with Sway Calloway, Jeremih said that he will spend the rest of his recovery at his mom’s home. He said that he will return to making music as soon as possible.

Raymond Scott, 58 is known as Benzino. He is a former rapper and reality television agitator who is best known for his feud with Eminem. He is the former co-owner of The Source Magazine, the self-acclaimed Bible of Hip-Hop. He is a pretty much a washed up entertainer who still wants to be “real” with the streets.

Benzino is a known hothead who blows up at everyone whenever he is called out for his immature behavior.

Since we’re talking about Eminem’s Music To Be Murdered By - Side B, we might as well talk about the guy who just won’t let this beef go. Back in 2002, Benzino launched a rap battle against Em in an attempt to generate sales for his album. He called Eminem, a “culture vulture,” “Elvis” and “not real hip-hop.” 

Em went into the studio and hit him hard. The Sauce and The Nail in the Coffin blew Benzino out the water. Since the disses, Benzino has failed in achieving hip-hop greatness. He’s been rapping since the early 1980s and no one still remembers him. He tried every version of hip-hop and never got much radio or television play.

He also tried to show the ladies he’s a buff. He posed naked for a D’Angelo style music video.

More on that later.

When we hear about him, he’s known as Ray Scott. The father, the American renter and the plaintiff in a courtroom. He made the news when he verbally and racially insulted a Brookhaven, Georgia police officer who was Asian American.

Scott’s behavior was caught on Real World Police’s YouTube page. The video went viral and it gave the world an impression of him.

He’s nothing more than a Karen. A Black guy screaming racism when he clearly knew he was in the wrong. Just like this incident we’re talking about now. He literally shouted “Black Lives Matter” at three officers to say he was being a victim of racial discrimination.

He verbally berated an apartment manager after he was told he was being evicted from his Atlanta condo.

According to HipHopDX, the rapper has skipped the rent since March. The apartment served him his eviction notice. He apparently went into the office twice that day and berated the manager and called her a cracka.

Scott said that the COVID-19 pandemic has made times hard for him to pay the rent and he felt that he deserved a break from paying because of it.

The Brookhaven Police responded to the complaint of an unruly person on the property and talked to him and the property manager.

The Black cop went hard on Scott. He approached the manager who was sobbing in her office. 

He said that she shouldn’t let it get to him. He said that he’s in desperation mode, he knows he is in an eviction process. The cop said he’s not a celebrity and it's not worth getting upset over.

Benzino makes a D'Angelo themed video in a desperate bid to win over fans.

The manager told the cop she didn’t know he was a celebrity. She said he was an unruly renter.

The incident happened in July.

Benzino responded to the video by saying that it’s “fake news.” He said that the video didn’t show what happened before the police came. He claims that the woman was being racist toward him and blamed Eminem supporters for leaking the video.

Benzino said he’s not evicted and he’s living well. He said that the people on the internet are weirdos and Eminem’s newest album is trash.

Now in September before the October eviction video release, Benzino made a music video called The Bigger PIcture. He posed naked oiled up. 

The video was roundly mocked because he’s a short rapper with no neck. The rapper stands at 5’3” in tennis shoes. He claims he’s 5’9’’ but if you look at the video with Bobby V, he stands about the same height as the R&B singer. Bobby V has a notorious history of being caught spending his rent money on transgender escorts.

I know times are rough and we’re all facing a crisis. Benzino is spending his money trying to stay relevant. He has money to make a music video butt naked. That COVID-19 relief money paid for the music video. So far it’s racked up only 82,000 views since its release.

A rapper named Sada Baby made a video called Whole Lotta Choppas around the same time Benzino made his video. It has 15 million views and sparked a TikTok challenge.

Sada Baby is another target who might face the wrath of Eminem.

Benzino also has an allegation of attacking a man and damaging his vehicle after he got upset that Althea Heart was dating him. He has a court date in Gwinnett County. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
