Black stoner Republican trashes Democrats and got Trump's praise.
Donald J. Trump retweets a wackadoodle Black conservative who is challenging Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
You may remember that Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL) had called Ocasio-Cortez (known as AOC) as a "fucking bitch."
Let me interpret the actual remarks for you:
YOHO: YOU FUCKING DIRTY BITCH! HOW DARE YOU? YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR COTTON-PICKING MIND, IF YOU THINK YOUR SOCIALIST VIEWS ARE GOING TO WORK HERE IN AMERICA!
Yoho never fully apologized for his remarks.
AOC had responded back.
"I walked back out and there were reporters in the front of the Capitol and in front of reporters Representative Yoho called me, and I quote, “a fucking ing bitch.” These were the words that Representative Yoho levied against a congresswoman. The congresswoman that not only represents New York's 14th Congressional District, but every congresswoman and every woman in this country."
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said that Republicans treatment of women is disgraceful. She said that folks like Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL) continue to embrace the status quo and dangerous rhetoric that makes it bad for women.
She added, "It is a culture of lack of impunity, of accepting of violence and violent language against women, and an entire structure of power that supports that. Because not only have I been spoken to disrespectfully, particularly by members of the Republican Party and elected officials in the Republican Party, not just here, but the President of the United States last year told me to go home to another country, with the implication that I don't even belong in America."
In regards to the condescending apology and smirks from Yoho, the lawmaker responded to that as well.
"I do not need Representative Yoho to apologize to me. Clearly he does not want to. Clearly when given the opportunity he will not and I will not stay up late at night waiting for an apology from a man who has no remorse over calling women and using abusive language towards women, but what I do have issue with is using women, our wives and daughters, as shields and excuses for poor behavior. Mr. Yoho mentioned that he has a wife and two daughters. I am two years younger than Mr. Yoho's youngest daughter. I am someone’s daughter too. My father, thankfully, is not alive to see how Mr. Yoho treated his daughter. My mother got to see Mr. Yoho’s disrespect on the floor of this House towards me on television and I am here because I have to show my parents that I am their daughter and that they did not raise me to accept abuse from men."
You hear nothing in regards to that remark from Trump or any Republican in the House of Representatives. All they see in their mind is a woman of color that doesn't know her place.
The far-right continues to attack AOC for being an outspoken politician. She is a controversial figure in her own right. She endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and fell for the Tara Reade bullshit like many of her fellow members of the Squad. They sort of lost favor with mainstream Democrats because of this.
AOC, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) have caused frustration within the Democratic Party.
Disgraceful Republican Ted Yoho is retiring from Congress. This white nationalist called AOC a fucking dirty bitch.
Their support for Sanders and his toxic campaign has made them very polarizing. AOC managed to fend off a tough primary challenger. Tlaib and Omar also face primary challengers who are willing to defeat them.
Of the Squad, Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) has been not as polarizing. She supported Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) in the primaries. But soon she endorsed Joe Biden. The remaining members of the Squad slowly came on board.
Yoho is a white nationalist. He is a part of the do-nothing "Freedom Caucus." He along with a dozen or so members of the worthless caucus are extremists with no accomplishments other than getting unnecessary airtime on Fox News and talk radio.
As the House prepare for a state funeral for John Lewis, the civil rights pioneer who served as a U.S. Congressman from Georgia, Trump decides to hop on social media to retweet this nobody.
This guy is named Antoine Tucker and he's challenging Ocasio-Cortez for New York's 14th Congressional District.
AOC is expected to retain her seat. However, Trump is hoping that this Black man will give her a run for the money.
Antoine Tucker is a sure fire Looney Coon.
Tucker is a far-right candidate. He is embracing the white nationalist QAnon conspiracy. He is challenging AOC. The candidate wants to defeat her "globalist" agenda.
He really has no real agenda. All this guy is (in my opinion) is noise.
"But the Democrats don't give a fuck. They don't give a fuck about helping Americans, they don't give a fuck about what race you are, they don't care about what LBGT whatever community you belong to, they care about power. All of this shit is about power. All of the media hysteria is about power. Control and power, control and power. Every day that an American dies, suffers, or finds themselves hungry, you thank the damn Democrats for it because that’s what the fuck they've been doing. Fucking up public trust, fucking up the economy, and blaming this shit on Trump. Like it's his fault when it's fuckin’ them. Be aware, man."
He is a foul-mouth, weed smoking, paranoid Black Republican. He is stoner conservative.
I don't like giving this noise airtime, but since we've talked about Yoho's disrespect towards a woman of color, we might as well address this human waste.
You are reminded that voting is important. If you like the way things are going under Donald J. Trump, by all means, vote for him.
If you lost your job, caught the coronavirus, lost a family member or friend to the coronavirus, got angered by police brutality, tired of partisan antics in Congress, fed up with the rising prices of food, energy, oil and necessities, fear having your child go to school with the risk of catching coronavirus and tired of a reality television president, please vote for Joe Bdien.
Trump was nominated in Cleveland. Now he will do his nomination in a virtual convention.
Ignore the polls --- Joe Biden. We got work to do!
The former vice president is aware that in 100 days American voters will decide on whether he or Donald J. Trump is qualified to be President of the United States.
Right now, Trump is playing on the culture war. He has released this ad in many swing states to paint Biden as "soft on crime" and willing to defund the police. He used an old white lady on the phone and clips of Fox News agitators deliberately lying about Biden's stances. In the video, a mysterious guy kicks down the door and the phone drops to the floor. It is a dog whistle and deliberate attempt to win back suburban voters.
With Florida, California and Texas leading in the number of coronavirus cases and deaths, Trump listened to members of his White House team.
Trump has decided that hosting a Republican National Convention in North Carolina and Florida was dangerous. Now do I want to believe him when he said that "It's not the right time!"
Nah, Trump was upset over this. He wanted a large gathering and thousands of attendees at the Jacksonville event. At the last minute, Trump and RNC chief Ronna Romney McDaniel had decided to pull out of Charlotte, North Carolina after Gov. Roy Cooper, a Democrat told them that having a large rally with COVID-19 cases rising is dangerous. He said that they can have a convention only if it was scaled back and safe for all to attend.
Trump didn't like that idea and decided that he wasn't going to take this shit. So he said fuck North Carolina. He rather be in Florida with his rally. Florida's governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican was thrilled to have the convention. He along with Jacksonville's mayor, a Republican wanted to roll out the red carpet.
Three weeks later....
Uh oh! We see a huge spike in coronavirus cases in metro areas like Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Tallahassee, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale and Pensacola.
Florida, the third most populate state in the country is the second in coronavirus cases. DeSantis finally admits that he's fucked up with this pre-opening and now is requiring Floridians to wear mask in public.
He privately talked to Trump warning him that if he hosts the convention, it will be impossible to pull it off.
Trump is disappointed that his convention was cancelled.
So on Thursday, Trump formally announced he no longer going to host the convention in Jacksonville.
Scaled back events in Charlotte will go on for now.
Trump faced backlash from Republicans. Some of them felt that hosting the event would put lives at risk. Trump had held the infamous Tulsa rally last month and folks were infected with the coronavirus.
Oklahoma's Gov. Kevin Stitt, a Republican, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Herman Cain, twelve Secret Service agents and members of Trump campaign team tested positive for the coronavirus.
Republicans are in fear they could lose the White House and Senate. With Trump's bumbling on the pandemic and other domestic issues, it has put a dent in his chances of winning reelection.
I still have Trump at 49.7% chance of winning reelection.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) is sitting on information he got from Ukrainians who have ties to Russia. He is willing to release this nonsense despite it being unverified and unethical.
There's talk that Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) got information from pro-Russian operatives working in Ukraine and he's waiting until late summer to release it. Donald J. Trump, Republicans and Fox News are plotting to undermine Joe Biden as he continues to slowly rise in the polls.
Again, Biden and many of his team warn supporters to not get too comfortable with the polls. He said that he has work to do and he's not taking anything for granted.
His campaign advisor Symone Sanders had tweeted this.
This should be concerning for everyone. Regardless of political party. https://t.co/Yz3l72AIVn
In a letter to the FBI director Christopher Wray, the Democrats are calling out Johnson for being a "stooge." Johnson has become a vehicle for “laundering” a foreign influence campaign to damage Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, according to two people familiar with the demand.
Top Democratic leaders demanded the all-Congress briefing Monday, citing "specific" intelligence that a foreign influence operation targeted lawmakers to "launder and amplify disinformation in order to influence congressional activity."
Though the letter did not mention the Johnson investigation, it included a classified addendum that the two sources say identified the probe as one of the sources of their concern.
"We are gravely concerned, in particular, that Congress appears to be the target of a concerted foreign interference campaign, which seeks to launder and amplify disinformation in order to influence congressional activity, public debate, and the presidential election in November," Pelosi (D-CA) and Schumer (D-NY) wrote in their letter, which was also signed by the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), and the vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA).
All four Democratic signatories are members of the Gang of Eight, a group of eight lawmakers who are briefed on classified intelligence by the executive branch.
Asked about Democrats' contention, Johnson, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, told POLITICO: "They're simply wrong."
"And Schiff is the last person to talk," he added.
A Johnson aide added that the senator himself had sought an FBI briefing on these issues.
"Committee staff has already requested and received a staff briefing on this issue, and Chairman Johnson has requested an additional briefing at the member level," the spokesman said. "That briefing has not occurred in part because the agencies requested additional information from minority staff, which has not followed on these requests since mid-May."
The letter's authors did not publicly offer additional details about the nature of the counterintelligence threat they described. But lawmakers of both parties have warned for months that foreign powers like Russia are intent on interfering in the 2020 U.S. election process — including, Democrats say, through Johnson’s investigation, which targets Biden's son Hunter.
The probe centers on claims that a Democratic public-relations firm sought to leverage Hunter Biden's role on the board of a Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, to influence the State Department under the Obama administration. Johnson has asked several former State Department officials to testify, and he is eyeing subpoenas as soon as this week if they do not agree to appear for depositions voluntarily.
Johnson renewed his demand for transcribed interviews and documents from the former officials days after a Ukrainian lawmaker — Andriy Derkach, who has met with Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani to discuss investigating the Biden family — used a news conference to accuse the Bidens and Amos Hochstein, a former special envoy for international energy affairs at the State Department, of an elaborate conspiracy to steal hundreds of millions of dollars from Ukraine.
Republicans are willing to use foreign influence to win elections. Trump used Russia. He hinted he will do it again.
The last time senators were briefed on election security and foreign influence operations, Democratic lawmakers confronted Johnson behind closed doors about his investigation, arguing that it threatens the integrity of the 2020 election and relies on Russian disinformation to tar a political opponent.
They cited in particular Johnson's initial effort to subpoena Andrii Telizhenko, who has pushed unsubstantiated claims about coordination between the Ukrainian government and the Democratic National Committee in 2016. Johnson dropped plans to subpoena Telizhenko after the FBI's foreign influence task force briefed senators about him, focusing on concerns over his credibility.
Last week, Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI), the top Democrat on the Homeland Security Committee, renewed his request for defensive briefings from the FBI as Johnson’s investigation intensifies.
Some Senate Republicans, too, have previously signaled unease with Johnson's investigation. In December, Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), who was chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee at the time, privately told Johnson that his inquiry could aid Russia, according to two congressional sources familiar with the meeting. And Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC.) warned in February that any derogatory information coming out of Ukraine about any American should be vetted by intelligence agencies because "Russia is playing us all like a fiddle."
The Democratic leaders' letter was dated July 13 and addressed to FBI Director Wray, but they released it publicly Monday.
"Given the seriousness and specificity of these threats, as members of congressional leadership and the congressional intelligence committees we believe it is imperative that the FBI provide a classified defensive briefing to all Members of Congress and that the briefing draw on all-source intelligence information and analysis, consistent with due regard for the protection of sensitive intelligence sources and methods," they continued.
The FBI has acknowledged receiving the letter, but the bureau declined to comment further. In their letter, the Democratic leaders demanded the briefing "prior to the August recess at the earliest possible opportunity," and they want a schedule in place by the end of the day Monday.
Johnson is working on behalf of Donald J. Trump.
Rudy Giuliani is once again trying to meet with foreign operatives to get dirt on Biden. The federal probe into the actions of his former partners Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman has Giuliani, John "Deep State" Solomon and others in the crosshairs of the FBI.
They have deliberately tried to push fake stories about Biden for the last two years. The Ukraine-Hunter Biden story led to Trump getting impeached. The Tara Reade allegations led to her being investigated for perjury and fraud.

Here's the lyrics from Dark Place.
[Verse: Logic]
Yeah
Depression, anxiety got ahold of me
'Cause people say they want the older me
Well, I'm thirty, this the oldest me
Behold it's me, the piece of shit that's not good enough
Not black enough, not hood enough
Not rich enough, not poor enough
My heart has poured enough
I been beaten and battered, my confidence shattered
Been broken and tattered
I'm constantly second guessin' if my profession is worth it on my mental state
Writin' this from a dark place with humility and grace
Peace, love, and positivity was my nativity
But not when socials are in my vicinity
I'm not runnin' from the internet
My god, I was at its birth, I've been a vet
Goin' berserk like Peter down in InterTech, yo, ayy
It's deeper than the surface, I'm searchin' for purpose
I'm tired of searchin' for Logic on Google on purpose just to read that I'm worthless
I remember makin' music alone, just a pen and a microphone
But nowadays it's hard to get in the zone
Writin' rhymes was easy before the fame
Now I'm constantly overthinkin' every line, it's a shame
Rap used to fill me with joy, now it's nothin' but pain
I'm stuck in the game, tryna get back from where I came
I write this letter for the person who's listenin'
Fed up and tired of people dismissin' 'em, I'm with you
I been through what you been through
No amount of money can take away the feelin' of insecurity
Only through maturity can we overcome
Feel like I've been overrun, feel like it's over, I'm done
Whoever told you success gon' make you happy? You been lied to
All of my dreams came true but I bleed and cry too
Never been perfect, I failed every time I tried to
Feelin' hated and underappreciated
Every time I look in the mirror, I wonder, "Why you?"
Shit, I'd love to end this on some positive shit
Hit you with punchlines instead of some derogative shit
But it's okay to be sad sometimes and tired of shit, I guess
[Outro: Alan Watts]
And people say, "Well you're just out for money"
I say, "That's none of your business"
You see, a lot of people don't feel happy
Unless they have another thing beyond money, which is called status
And status, to a very large extent in our economy consists in
In having this thing and that thing and the other thing, and having a swimming pool
A, uh, Ferrari, uh, certain kind of clothes and uh, certain kind of house
And so on, and so on, and so on
And we think, uh, we need all that
Because we haven't asked ourselves whether that was what we really wanted
They all think they gotta have this, they gotta have that
And uh, they don't really want it
If they sat back and considered, "Do I need all that? Is this trip really necessary?"
They would come to the conclusion that it wasn't, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha
Logic is married to Brittney Noell Hall and has one son.
White nationalist Republican Ted Yoho called AOC a fucking bitch.
Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL) is one of the many members of the "do-nothing" Freedom Caucus. He is represents the 3rd Congressional District of Florida. It surrounds suburbs of Jacksonville and the city of Gainesville. Yoho is a white nationalist lawmaker who made appearances on Fox News and Sean "Softball" Hannity's right wing carnival. He is not running for reelection in 2020.
He is openly feuding with Bernie Broette, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
Ocasio-Cortez, a controversial figure herself is the youngest member of the House of Representatives. She is often vilified by the far-right for being in support of democratic-socialism.
She also made enemies with the left. Some of the Democrats believe her and The Squad burned bridges.
Ocasio-Cortez (known as AOC) represents the 14th Congressional District of New York. Her district covers New York City. The district covers the eastern portion of The Bronx and a partial northern portion of Queens.
First things first, before we deal with these two, I want to acknowledge the vote on removing Confederate statues and controversial figures from the grounds of the U.S. Capitol.
The House managed to pass the resolution handily with most 232 Democrats, 72 Republicans and Rep. Justin Amash (L-MI). Amash is an independent who is considered a Libertarian. He left the Republican Party last year. Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) was one of the Republicans who voted with Democrats to remove statues. He was a Democrat when first elected. Even Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), the Minority Whip and former white nationalist supported removal.
The 126 Republicans who voted against the resolution or not vote at all explain why it's hard for them to win Black and Latino voters. They claim to be the party that freed the slaves but they're the party that protects the slave owners legacies.
Yoho was one of the many Republicans who voted against the statues to be removed.
Please, don't listen to Black conservatives or Fox News when it comes to African Americans and history.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a controversial figure.
The Republican Party doesn't support civil rights, women's rights and LGBTQ rights. They only want to preserve the last remnants of white supremacy.
Now onto Yoho and AOC.
Yes, I am getting tired of the Squad. That's no secret. I believe these women of color have a voice at the table in the Democratic Party. But as like most in the Squad, they're gullible to lies and distortions.
Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) have faced harsh criticism during the Democratic primaries. They openly supported Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for president.
Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) supported Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
The three have attacked members of the Democratic Party and believed that bullshit story from Alexandra Tara Reade Moulton McCabe. Omar pissed me off by taking the side of a woman who can't even provide documents of her time working with Biden. A woman who some claimed swindled them out of money. A woman who is mentally ill and a great actress on television.
Omar and Tlaib are facing tougher primary challengers. AOC managed to fend off her primary challenger.
AOC is concerned about the treatment of protesters being attacked by federal agents. She is also concerned about income inequality and police brutality. She made remarks on why people steal and commit criminal acts.
She believes that the coronavirus restrictions are leading to unemployment, poverty and an economic depression in the New York City. She said that crime is going up because of human nature to resistance. She clearly made a point that seemed pretty reasonable to most.
I never spoke to Rep. Yoho before he decided to accost me on the steps of the nation’s Capitol yesterday.
Believe it or not, I usually get along fine w/ my GOP colleagues. We know how to check our legislative sparring at the committee door.
To Republicans, it's just another word vomit and they're not willing to support democratic-socialism.
It riled up Yoho, a hardline Trump supporter and white nationalist.
Yoho is allegedly calling a woman of color a fucking dirty bitch. He said that she's out of her freaking mind. Let me paraphrase this for those who ain't familiar.
YOHO: YOU FUCKING DIRTY BITCH! HOW DARE YOU? YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR COTTON-PICKING MIND, IF YOU THINK YOUR SOCIALIST VIEWS ARE GOING TO WORK HERE IN AMERICA!
Ocasio-Cortez was clearly offended and the House is working on a censure against Yoho.
Yoho at first denied ever calling her a bitch but he soon changed tune and sarcastically apologized for his improper wording.
AOC didn't buy the apology. She said that Yoho's remarks show the immaturity of Republicans when it comes to real issues everyone is facing.
Heather Childers got sacked after showing up to work with symptoms of COVID-19.
Fox News has fired Fox & Friends First host Heather Childers after she showed up to work sick and put workers at risk of COVID-19. That's why you're seeing Brian Kilmeade, Steve Doocy and Ainsley Earhardt doing their show remotely from their respective homes. Earhardt is allegedly doing her shows from the home of Sean "Softball" Hannity.
CNN's Brian Stelter got wind of the cannon firing and posted it in his Reliable Sources newsletter.
Childers who was Fox & Friends First host since 2012 was asked to stay home after being noticeably sick on and off camera on March 18, despite her insistence that she did not have COVID-19. She returned back to work the next day, still looking visibly ill.
Since she was sent home, the network voided her contract and fired her out the cannon.
— Heather Childers (@HeatherChilders) May 10, 2020
The State of New York where Fox News is headquartered had an emergency decree from Gov. Andrew Cuomo on March 7. He ordered that non-essential employees to stay home or workers who appeared to be sick to not head to work.
Childers would ignore the state order and placed thousands of her coworkers at risk of catching it.
Coughed & sneezed last week on air & mentioned during a segment w a doctor the next day I went to see a dr to make sure I didn’t have a temperature or cough of type described as concern. Wanted coworkers safe. Dr said everything was normal. Haven’t been back since Hope to be soon
No. Last day I was on I mentioned I had gone to a dr to make sure I had no fever or cough of concern after coughing & sneezing on air. Never went to work feeling sick. I sent those results showing no temp or cough. Was then told Covid19 test would most helpful. Negative π
I’d love to go back to work @realDonaldTrump but the antibody tests only show positive if you have had the virus. I’ve had TWO negative COVID19 tests results & no symptoms. Including a doctor testing temp, oxygen, all vitals 3 weeks ago today. All normal. Can I go back to work?
Even though she denies ever having the coronavirus, Childers is now angry over the way Fox News treated her. She even begged Donald J. Trump to talk to Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch to help her get her job back to no avail.
Trump a frequent watcher of Fox News, has been criticized by Americans who feel that the conservative cable channel made him downplay the seriousness of the coronavirus.
Trump now is asking for Americans to wear masks, nearly five months after it was told now its time to wear facial protection.
Tonight, Trump will do another Fox News interview with Softball Hannity. After Sunday's interview with Chris Wallace, Trump has vowed to never do interviews with hosts he believe are hostile towards him.
We have over 200,000 Americans dead from the coronavirus. We have over 5 million cases in the United States alone. Many countries are banning Americans from traveling into their localities. We have a global trade war with China thanks to Trump's impulsive reactions. We have uncertainty with the economy, unemployment and civil unrest. Things have gotten so bad, I wouldn't be surprised if we're on the brink of a civil war.
Charles Evers, a pioneer of civil rights passed away.
Another legendary member in the fight for civil rights passed away.
Charles Evers passed away at the age of 97 in Brandon, Mississippi.
James Charles Evers was an American civil rights activist, businessman, disc jockey and politician.
Evers was known for his role in the civil rights movement along with his brother Medgar Evans.
His family confirms he had passed away of natural causes. Charles was considered one of the pioneers of the civil rights movement in the United States. He became the NAACP's state voter registration chairman in 1954, and after his brother's death, Charles took over leadership roles and began voter registration drives in honor of his brother.
In 1969, Evers made history when he became mayor of Fayette, Mississippi. He was known as the first African American to be a mayor of a Mississippi city.
Charles Evers with Martin Luther King, Jr.
Throughout a career that also included being a businessman and radio host, Charles was described by Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) as a man who "was never afraid to challenge the accepted norms or fly in the face of political correctness."
"As an elected official he navigated the circuitous route from Freedom Democrat to Independent to Republican, even serving as a Trump elector in 2016. He used his powerful personality and platform to change Mississippi for the better," said Wicker.
Evers was born in Decatur, Mississippi in 1922. He was the eldest of four children. He grew up in the poor Mississippi with his sisters and brother. Charles attended segregated schools, which were underfunded and poorly maintained.
He is a graduate of Alcorn State University.
Trump has Charles Evers at the White House.
He served in the World War II and fell in love with a Philippine woman while stationed overseas. He could not marry her and bring her to his native Mississippi because of the state's constitutional ban on interracial marriage.
He had participated in criminal activity during his younger years. He was a bootlegger, pimp and numbers runner before he changed his life.
He was a disc jockey for the radio station WHOC in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He served a year as a reserve officer in the Korean War before he retired from active duty.
Charles was no angel. He admitted it. It was the shooting of his brother Medgar that changed him.
His brother was killed by Byron De La Beckwith in the Freedom Summer. He devoted his life to honoring his brother and those who fought for civil rights.
Later in life, he served as a mayor in the city of Fayette. He would be mayor from 1969 to 1981 and a second run from 1985 to 1989. He was then a Democrat during the 1960s.
He would end up becoming an independent in the 1970s. When Ronald Reagan would announce his run for president, Charles would become a Republican and endorsed the former California governor and actor.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend Charles Evers. Charles was a trail blazer in politics and a fearless leader, alongside his brother Medgar, for Civil Rights. pic.twitter.com/rL4bLbCY1D
Reagan had changed Blacks in the South. Despite the Democratic Party maintaining a strong support with African Americans, Republicans managed to seal up over 10% of the vote.
Reagan and Donald J. Trump were the only Republicans to manage to capture more than 10% of the Black vote.
Charles was a conservative Republican by death. He didn't brag about being a conservative. He just used his principles as a man of honor and not a showboat like Candace Owens, Jesse Lee Peterson, Terrence K. Williams and Kevin Jackson.
Although, a Black Republican, James Charles Evers had dedicated his life to helping African Americans.
Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC is being watched by the city government for non-compliance.
Washington, DC's mayor Muriel Bowser has enforced a mandatory facial mask order for the entire federal district. She said that anyone in the area caught without facial protection could face a hefty fine.
There are 38 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico actively enforcing facial protection.
Donald J. Trump also has stated that Americans should wear facial masks in public after months of ignoring the calls to do so.
Bowser hit the roof when she peeped out social media this week. She found out that The Trump International Hotel was not enforcing the mask rule.
You want to know how..... Well, Trump decided to hold a fundraiser and video footage shows that many attending this fundraiser weren't wearing mask and failed to social distance. The Republican candidate for the open house seat in North Carolina Madison Cawthorn posted on social media his meeting with Trump and Mark Meadows, the former lawmaker who resigned to become the White House Chief of Staff.
Cawthorn, 24 became one of the youngest candidates running for the U.S. House of Representatives.
If elected, Cawthorn will become the youngest member to serve the House beating Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) by five years. Cawthorn will turn 25 later this year. His surprise victory rattled Republicans who endorsed his rival.
Cawthorn is paralyzed from the waist down after a serious car accident. He wrote about his survival.
Who also attended the rally without facial protection?
Trump's lawyer and loyalist Rudy Giuliani, Kayleigh McEnany, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Ronna Romney McDaniel were there without facial protection.
Trump and Republicans are deliberately ignoring social distancing and facial mask requirements.
A social media post showed up online saying there's a scheduled party for the hotel on Saturday. It said that its a "NO MASKS ALLOWED" party in the disclaimer. It was cancelled after a strong backlash.
That social media post has made the District of Columbia's Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration is now investigation whether Trump International is actively ignoring the rules.
Bowser said that companies that violate the district's rules could lose their liquor license and be shut down for failure to comply.
Cases of COVID-19 have risen in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Bowser, Gov. Larry Hogan of Maryland and Gov. Ralph Northam of Virginia have said their areas seen spikes.
The D.C. mayor has no power to enforce mask-wearing at federal properties, like the White House.
Trump has been trying his hardest to distance himself from the coronavirus pandemic. He's been actively trying to paint his rival Democratic candidate Joe Biden as weak and ineffective.
Muriel Bowser ain't playing. Residents in the city must wear mask. That includes Donald J. Trump.
It's pretty hard to do so when you're overseeing a country that has a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases, civil unrest thanks to police brutality against people of color, civil unrest thanks to federal agents being sent to communities to arrest individuals and global uncertainty with the economy.
Trump continues to call the coronavirus, the "China Virus" and "Kung Flu" as a pejorative towards China and Asian Pacific union.
We are United in our effort to defeat the Invisible China Virus, and many people say that it is Patriotic to wear a face mask when you can’t socially distance. There is nobody more Patriotic than me, your favorite President! pic.twitter.com/iQOd1whktN
His expelling of Chinese diplomats from the embassies is only ratcheting up tension.
Here's the map.
Here's things to remember about the coronavirus.
1. Wash your hands frequently. Wash for at least 20 seconds (two Happy Birthday songs).
2. Do not touch your face (mouth, nose and eyes)
3. Cough into your elbow instead of your hands.
4. Keep a safe distance (at least 6 to 10 feet) from individuals. Businesses are now issuing social distancing and will have the right to refuse service if you're not adhering to the guidelines.
5. If you're sick, please stay home. You could spread the disease to others and trust me, you could face legal ramifications if you're sick and you deliberately showing up to work.
6. There is no treatment or cure for the COVID-19.
7. Follow state and federal laws regarding this. Some states have relaxed regulations but that doesn't mean you're fully able to return to normal life. You have to stay vigilant and remind yourself that you can still catch this despite social distancing and safe sanitation practices.
8. Do not hoard items like toilet paper, milk, eggs, bread, gloves, hand sanitizer, etc.
9. Use social media like Facebook Messenger, Meet, Zoom, Google Duo, Skype or social media to connect.
10. COVID-19 can live on surfaces for more than 72 hours. Including steel, plastic and cardboard.
11. A pandemic has no timeline. The coronavirus is new and scientists are trying to figure out how to combat this.
12. COVID-19 doesn't care about borders. The coronavirus spreads from human to human contact. We have no confirmation on how it made it to the United States. Don't believe what Donald J. Trump says about it coming from China. It was detected in China, then Italy and our first confirmed case was in January 2020 in the United States. We probably had thousands of people affected in 2019 and we just didn't know it.
13. If you deliberately infect other individuals, food and first responders, you will be charged with crime. So if people are trying to cough on you, sneeze on you, lick food products, lick toilet seats and refuse to wear masks where its required, they could face criminal charges. This is a controversial issue because some believe the mask isn't protecting them and some don't care about you or your family's health.
14. If you have signs of bluish lips or face, inability to wake or stay awake, new confusion, persistent pain in the chest, trouble breathing or blood in cough, call 9-1-1. There are mobile testing sites in your community but always check with a doctor first before getting a test at a public center. Most doctors will not take you openly without facial protection and confirmed symptoms.
15. Not all symptoms of COVID-19 are confirmed or denied. New issues keep showing up. So don't believe everything you've heard. The most common symptoms are noted above. Also please note that asymptomatic individuals are folks who have no symptoms but are spreading. Those are folks who look normal but have it and not showing signs yet.
According to the CDC, there is still not enough information on antibodies for COVID-19 and whether they can prevent someone from getting reinfected. It still recommends that people with a positive antibody test follow recommendations for protecting themselves and others.
The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.
Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19.
Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!

Coin shortage in the U.S. is a sign the economy is tanking.
The U.S. Mint is reducing its coin production which is resulting in a coin shortage across the country.
The Federal Reserve has confirmed the shortage in a brief statement.
It has said that business and bank closures associated with the COVID-19 pandemic have significantly disrupted the supply chain and normal circulation patterns for U.S. coins. While there is an adequate overall amount of coins in the economy, the slowed pace of circulation has reduced available inventories in some areas of the country.
The Federal Reserve is working with the U.S. Mint and others in the industry on solutions. As a first step, a temporary cap was imposed on the orders depository institutions place for coins with the Federal Reserve to ensure that the current supply is fairly distributed. In addition, a U.S. Coin Task Force was formed to identify, implement, and promote actions to address disruptions to coin circulation.
As the economy recovers and businesses reopen, more coins will flow back into retail and banking channels and eventually into the Federal Reserve, which should allow for the rebuilding of coin inventories.
With the U.S. leading in the world's cases of COVID-19, our economy is suffering badly. No amount of Trumpism will bring back the jobs that were lost due to this pandemic. We have over 200,000 Americans who have died from the coronavirus. We have over 5 million confirmed cases and most of the U.S. has now enacted facial mask wearing in the public. Trump finally is calling for Americans to wear facial protection. Still he doesn't wear them and have said some of the dumbest shit.
Trump has returned to the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefings. The last time he done these things he told Americans if it was possible to inject disinfectants and bleach into your body to stop COVID-19.
And of course, he's still blaming Barack Obama for the crisis. He still claiming that "radical Democrats" are allowing American cities to go under. He still thinks Joe Biden is "Sleepy Joe" and call him a lightweight.
Trump has now ordered federal agents to Chicago to stop criminal activity. Instead of working on gun control laws, Trump will put American lives at risk. Those federal agents could be killed by domestic terrorist who are affiliated with street gangs. He is trying to rebrand himself as the "law and order" president instead of the "Keep America Great" leader.
The Chinese government is going to find ways to attack the U.S. after it expelled diplomats from embassies. The trade deal is going to collapse and we're going to experience another volatile stock market.
Canada, Mexico, the European Union, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Australia and the United Kingdom has formally banned Americans from travel to their countries. Due to the coronavirus and Americans not taking formal steps to curb the virus, these countries are keeping the U.S. from spreading it.
African Americans are leading in the deaths of the coronavirus, unemployment and unfair justice by systematic racism.
Biden and Obama have decided to formally hit back at Trump and Republicans. Biden is trying to figure out a way to campaign without the large crowds. So he's working with Obama's old campaign team to "fight the smears" and reach out to moderates and disgruntled Republicans.
The attorneys who came outside their home to intimidate peaceful protesters are getting criminally charged. The two came out to protesters armed and threatened violence on them.
Now the St. Louis city prosecutor is going to criminally charge the two for unlawful use of weapons.
But Gov. Mike Parson, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO), Donald J. Trump and Fox News are trying to intervene. They are calling for an investigation into the actions of the St. Louis prosecutor and her actions.
Lawyers, Patricia and Mark McCloskey claim they were defending their home. However, the protesters weren't heading to their home, they were heading to mayor Lyda Krewson's home.
They overreacted and intimidate non-confrontational protesters wielding firearms.
Kim Gardner, who filed the charges against the two did not order the couple to surrender or be arrested. Instead she gave them an option, take diversion classes or face time in the city lockup.
Well it seems like the two aren't willing to take diversion. They are going full throttle.
Gardner, an African American prosecutor is getting death threats and direct attacks from Fox News and the McCloskeys.
The McCloskeys appeared on Fox News to rant about how they're being targeted for protecting their home.
Kim Gardner is not intimidated by the Republican governor Mike Parson.
"It's a totally upside-down world. The prosecutor apparently thinks her job isn't to keep us safe from criminals, but to keep the criminals safe from us ... W'e not going to apologize for doing what's right," said Mark McCloskey.
First things first, they aren't criminals. They are protesters. They didn't commit any criminal act towards that couple nor they endorsed criminality. They went onto private road to protest a mayor's decision to ignore police reform. These two white privileged jackasses wanted to bring the noise.
They have the audacity to criticize a Black woman who is pretty much on her game.
In a statement released on Monday, Gardner gave the two idiots an olive branch.
"It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner at those participating in nonviolent protests. I believe this would serve as a fair resolution to this matter."
The St. Louis Police obtained a search warrant and seized the two guns brandished by the couple.
Soon Republicans began their attack on the Black prosecutor.
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) wants Kim Gardner investigated.
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) sent a letter to the U.S. Justice Department saying that Gardner's investigation was an abuse of power.
Gardner dismissed the critics. She said that Trump and his allies are planning a coordinated attack to distract Americans from the issue of criminality from the McCloskeys.
"[This is] a modern-day night night. [Hawley's letter offers] a dog whistle of racist rhetoric and cronyism politics."
The McCloskeys are terrible lawyers. They seem to be one the scale of tort and frivolous.
They have a history of filing lawsuits including against their own property managers, claimed that they acted appropriately after "a mob" smashed their way through the private development gate.
The gate was fine and they didn't rush through. They didn't go onto the property of the McCloskeys.
Missouri governor Mike Parson threatened to commute the armed couple's sentence.
I am tired of white privilege. If this was a Black couple and they waved firearms around people, they'd be in city lockup right now. So don't give me that bullshit about protection.
We have seen how protection works in white America.
If the McCloskeys fail to agree to the terms of Gardner's plea deal, the two could face up to five years in the iron college if convicted in Missouri.
Parson is threatening to commute and pardon the two if they are convicted.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Two white men are facing a possible federal sandwich for trying to lynch a Black man.
Early in July, a Black civil rights activist was threatened by a group of white people at an Indiana lake. The video shows two white men attack a Black man.
The two terrorist who I won't mention by name are being charged with various criminal charges, including confinement and battery against Vauhxx Booker of Bloomington.
One of the men is charged with criminal confinement, battery resulting in injury and intimidation, all felonies. The other man is charged with aiding or causing criminal confinement, felony battery in injury, intimidation and two misdemeanor counts of battery.
Booker is a member of the Monroe County Human Rights Commission, post on social media the encounter.
Booker and his friends were visiting a public beach at Lake Monroe outside Bloomington. A large group of white people said they were on private property and began following them.
Some of the men became belligerent. When Booker went to some of the sober white people, the confrontation escalated.
A group of white men were seen holding Booker to a tree as his friends plead with them to release him. In the video, one man shouts at the camera, "You happy about this, you nappy-headed bitch? You and your five white friends?"
Indiana activist shares his encounter at a lake. He said he is blessed he didn't become George Floyd or any other person of color being killed.
As Booker's friends leave, one of the men follows, shouting, "Those Black boys want to start it all."
Attorneys for one of the men in the video claimed Monday that Booker was the instigator.
"Mr. Booker needs to tell the truth about punching people and apologize to the people he has harmed and to all the real victims of racism because he has diminished them," said four attorneys representing one of these white terrorist. "Also, those who were there with Mr. Booker and know the truth should also come out and tell the truth. Mr. Booker was the instigator and agitator. There was no problem until Mr. Booker returned for no legitimate reason. He was the aggressor and became threatening. Mr. Booker was first to throw punches. Mr. Booker was then restrained. Not beaten. Restrained. For his own safety and the safety of others. He then started race-baiting. Then stuck around after his alleged "near lynching" to video his attackers."
Booker said that the group wanted to "get a noose" and shouted "white power" although it wasn't heard in the video. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources which operates the park have said that no arrest were made at the time of the incident.
Booker said that his lawyers are in touch with the Monroe County prosecutor and Indiana State Police which made the arrest on the two.
Booker told the Indianapolis Star that a DNR law enforcement supervisor kept talking about the property owner's rights.
"This officer was clearly elevating property rights above my life," Booker said. "That's something we're seeing on a macro level throughout society where Black lives aren't as important as property."
Booker counts his blessings that strangers and his friends came to help him.
The U.S. Justice Department and Indiana Bureau of Investigation are looking at hate crime charges.
The FBI is also probing the two men and those with them.
Gov. Eric Holcomb condemned the attack and said that incidents like this give the state a negative perception that cannot be tolerated.
Bloomington mayor Greg Hamilton knows Booker and said that incident is a black eye on his city.
He said that the city has a lot a work to do.
Bloomington, Indiana.
"I don't know what would have happened in the woods of Lake Monroe if there hadn't been other individuals there and if there hadn't been a video taken," Hamilton said to Yahoo News. "It's incredibly important that we as a country, and then me and my community, that we make clear that has no place in our community, and we want to root it out."
The suspects could face up to 20 years in the iron college. If they have a federal sandwich they could get up to 40 years in federal time out.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Bloomington is 52 miles from Indianapolis. The city's population is 93,000 residents. It is the home of Indiana University. It is part of the NAFTA corridor. Interstate 69 is being built through Indiana.
The highway travels Northeast to Southwest through Central Indiana. It will eventually connect to Kentucky. The highway's two phases include the Bloomington/Martindale to Indianapolis corridor and the Evansville/Henderson, Kentucky corridor which will include a toll bridge across the Ohio River. The highway will eventually connect from Canada to Mexico through eight states.
