Suga!

Megan Thee Stallion puts out the SUGA EP and launches a fight with her label for mishandling its release.
Megan Thee Stallion releases her third EP called "SUGA."

The rapper/model is facing controversy over its release. The album was allegedly stopped due to a restraining order filed by the label.

Megan Thee Stallion was blowing up 2019 with the hits "Hot Girl Summer" and "Cash Shit."

Now under a new moniker, "SUGA", Megan The Stallion wants to reclaim her place as an independent artist who has creative control of her music.

The EP was released on Friday and it features the newest single "B.I.T.C.H." and its homage to the Tupac Shakur single, "I Rather Be Ya NIGGA." with Richie Rich.
Megan Thee Stallion with DaBaby.
The single has the production of Helluva, J. White, Lil Ju, Jake One, Pop Wansel, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo (The Neptunes), Timbaland and Tommy Brown.

She has features from Kehlani and Gunna.

Peep the album here.

The album is released on Warner Music Group through 1501 Certified Entertainment and 300 Entertainment.

Here's some of the lyrics from SUGA.

The single, "Crying in the Car."

[Verse 1]
Money to make and we all gon' spend it
Takin' care of my team, they wit' me
Can't complain, can't do no trippin'
Sayin' a prayer and I know he hear me
People keep sayin' I should be the bigger person
Who's gonna worry 'bout me when I'm hurtin'?
Got one more time, keep talkin' that shit
And I'ma wild out and go hard on a bitch
I been stayin' up all night
My niggas in the street, I'm makin' sure they're alright
And if I tell 'em it's a issue, then it's on sight
I'm on point, let me show you what that aim like

[Pre-Chorus]
Shit ain't the same and you say I'm changin'
But I really think it's you
Mad at me 'cause I'm elevatin'
But what you wanted me to do?

[Chorus]
Please don't give up on me, Lord, Lord
Promise to keep goin' hard, hard
All of them nights that I cried in the car
All them tears turned into ice on my arms
Please don't give up on me, Lord, Lord
Promise to keep goin' hard, hard
All of them nights that I cried in the car
All them tears turned into ice on my arms

[Post-Chorus]
And that's why I keep goin' harder
And harder (Ayy)
And that's why I keep goin' harder
And harder (Ayy)

[Verse 2]
Nigga, why you wanna play with me?
And why your girl look like she got somethin' to say to me?
He a snake and you layin' in the snake pit
'Cause he the type of nigga fuck a bitch I'm cool with
I don't want to talk and I barely wanna listen
Niggas playin' tag and they all tryna get me
Gotta stay focused, gotta stay winnin'
Young bitch just tryna make these millions
You know ya really motivatin' me
I'm really happy that you mothafuckas hate me
All them hoes get quiet when I walk in
They don't bother me, I know them bitches ain't shit

[Pre-Chorus]
Shit ain't the same and you say I'm changin'
But I really think it's you
Mad at me 'cause I'm elevatin'
But what you wanted me to do?

[Chorus]
Please don't give up on me, Lord, Lord
Promise to keep goin' hard, hard
All of them nights that I cried in the car
All them tears turned into ice on my arms
Please don't give up on me, Lord, Lord
Promise to keep goin' hard, hard
All of them nights that I cried in the car
All them tears turned into ice on my arms

[Post-Chorus]
And that's why I keep goin' harder
And harder (Ayy)
And that's why I keep goin' harder
And harder (Ayy)

[Outro]
And that's why I keep goin' harder
And harder (Ayy)
And that's why I keep goin' harder
And harder (Ayy)

The rapper wants off her label. She believes that the label is cheating her out of her royalties.

Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, didn't only ask Houston's Harris County District Court to help greenlight the release of Suga. Simultaneously, in a lawsuit filed on March 2, she asked for at least $1 million and the termination of her contract with 1501, claiming that the label has engaged in fraud, breach of contract, negligent misrepresentation, and other violations of civil law. The legal battle brings to a head tensions that have been playing out in interviews and social media for months.
Hot Girl Summer was one of the biggest hits of 2019.
Represented by Richard Busch, the lawyer who helped Marvin Gaye’s family triumph over Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams in the "Blurred Lines" copyright dispute, Megan Thee Stallion essentially claims that Crawford duped her into signing an unfair deal at a time when she didn't know any better. Megan, now 25, was "young and naive" when she signed to 1501 in early 2018, according to court documents filed by her team, and Crawford and 1501 "took complete advantage of her and fraudulently induced her to enter into the contract." That contract, the documents allege, is "not only entirely unconscionable, but ridiculously so."

Megan filed her lawsuit on March 2, and very quickly won a battle in preliminary rulings. That day, a Harris County District Court judge approved her request for a temporary restraining order, which prevented 1501 from interfering with Suga's release. Two days later, another Harris County District Court judge gave her another boost, denying 1501's request to dissolve the temporary restraining order. Megan celebrated the latter victory on Instagram, writing, "I will stand up for myself and won't allow two men to bully me, I am NO ONES PROPERTY."

FACTS ARE FACTS AND THE FACTS ARE PUBLIC ‼️ I’m extremely pleased that 1501 and Carl Crawford were denied the request to dissolve the Court order and try to stop my music from being released. I will proceed with the release of “SUGA”. On Friday March 6, To be clear, I will stand up for myself and won’t allow two men to bully me, I am NO ONES PROPERTY. Y’all are choosing to highlight the issue of music splits...talk about everything else. This has nothing to do with anyone else including JAY-Z, stop deflecting and trying to make this a publicity stunt, I want my rights, The facts are; 1. 1501 doesn’t want to approve my budget to put out my project that the court is allowing to be released. 2. 1501 tried to stop my release, I prevailed in court 3. 1501 tried to fight the decision today, the court denied 1501’s request🤷🏽‍♀️ respect my deceased mother, she’s not here, you don’t know her, you weren’t involved, Carl should speak for himself, All the facts are public record available at the courthouse in Houston.

But the case for terminating her contract with 1501 altogether could be more contentious. Her lawsuit alleges that the deal is so unfair it should be scrapped, that 1501 has broken the contract in ways that caused her "immediate and irreparable injury" and misrepresented its ability to promote her music. The label also falsely led her to believe T. Farris was Crawford's business partner when he was actually an outside consultant, according to the lawsuit. But the sort of fraud she’s accusing Crawford of committing when he signed her to 1501 is difficult to prove in court.

"The music and entertainment industries often include some level of puffery, of inflating of the truth," says Clark. He laid out a long list of qualifiers Megan would need to meet in order to prevail in court: "She's going to need to prove that those false statements went beyond normal overstatements, that 1501 knew those statements weren't true, that they were said in order to get her to sign with them, that she signed with them because of those statements, and she has since been injured by that relationship."

Megan's contract with 1501 is "extremely onerous," says Eng, but it will be "up to the judge and jury to decide whether it’s so onerous that it’s unconscionable." Owen Sloane, a music lawyer, says the lawsuit "sounds like a tactic to secure a renegotiation." In other words, the two sides might end up settling, as often happens in these sorts of cases, with Megan Thee Stallion getting at least some of the changes she wants made in her contact. The next hearing in the case is set for March 13.

Mick Mulvaney Out! Mark Meadows In!

Mick Mulvaney gets fired out the cannon.
Shake up at the White House. Again, the highest amount of turnover in modern history.

Donald J. Trump does not hire the best people to run the country. Matter of fact, the best people to run this country are often ridiculed by Trump. The junk food media usually keeps a tally of folks who depart from the White House. The far-white agitators often see folks stabbing Trump in the back. They believe that it's not enough to work with Trump. They want complete loyalty or they'll cast you as a part of the "deep state." The so-called "deep state" is conspiracy stroked by far-white agitators like Alex Jones, Sucker Tucker, Sean "Softball" Hannity and Laura Ingraham.

The deep state are operatives within Trump's inner circle devoted to destroying his legacy.

But of course, the only person capable of destroying his legacy is Trump.

White House Management and Office Director and interim White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney is out. Who replaces him?
Trump taps Mark Meadows to handle him.
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC), the outgoing Congressman and member of the "do nothing" Freedom Caucus.

Meadows, a loyal Trump ally has been tapped to replace Mulvaney in the coming weeks. He will be Trump's fourth chief of staff. The last ones before Mulvaney were Reince Priebus and John Kelly.

Meadows will probably give Trump freedom to express his thoughts. He will actually be a "yes man" until Trump forces him to do something unethical or unlawful.

On social media, Trump tweeted that he's tapped Meadows to hold the position.

It was an abrupt announcement of news that had been anticipated for weeks. It was the results of Trump's impeachment. He was impeached because of him soliciting a foreign entity to meddle in the U.S. Presidential Elections. Mulvaney admitted that Trump wanted foreign interference.

The Senate refused to subpoena Mulvaney and other witnesses involved in the scandal.

They voted to acquit Trump despite evidence proving he did advocate for Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden and Hunter Biden.

Mulvaney had a lot on his plate. He was the acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and continues to hold position as director of Office of Management and Budget.

He will soon be appointed a United States Special Envoy for Northern Ireland.

Dayton, Ohio shuts down the traffic cameras (for now).
The city of Dayton had pullback the speed and red light cameras for now. The city is still fighting against the state over those damn cameras. A longstanding issue in the city. Many believe that the traffic cameras being placed in predominantly Black areas contributes to a "shake down."

Nan Whaley, the city's mayor dismiss the notion and believe the cameras are there for the safety of citizens. The city pulled a mighty good revenue from these devices.

Dayton was one of the many jurisdictions that advocated for the use of red light cameras and speed cameras at many of its intersections.

The state of Ohio countered that the cameras were basically cash cows and didn't offer logical proof a violation was committed by traffic offenders. They had passed a state law requiring speed cameras near schools and used during periods when children are present. They also said that police officers should be located near an intersection to witness the violation.

The Dayton Police couldn't use the manpower to have officers watching intersections.

So they had to pull the cameras. They took it to court and won on the grounds of home rule legislation. Now Ohio came back with avengence. They wanted to make a law crystal clear, "if you're profiting off the cameras and not the safety, the cameras are invalid."

Last summer, the city of Dayton stopped using its fixed traffic cameras to record violations and issue citation notices.

The city has placed traffic cameras near school zones and have been actively enforcing those since.
Main Street at Hillcrest Avenue was the former location for a red light camera.
The speed detection cameras installed on North Gettysburg Avenue and North Main Street in Dayton were deactivated. The red light cameras are still active at South Smithville Road at Linden Avenue, James H. McGee Boulevard at West Third Street. The only speed camera still active is on South Keowee Street near downtown Dayton.

The city has still fought the state on this. The state had warned Dayton and other communities that if they continue with the traffic cameras, they'll lose necessary funding for roads and projects.

Ohio lawmakers had passed a law requiring that traffic cameras are to be used only when school speed limits are lowered during hours of education.

Dayton had pulled in over $2 million in revenue from traffic cameras.

Montgomery County cities like West Carrollton, Trotwood and Dayton had used those traffic cameras.

Butler County cities like Middletown, New Miami, Hamilton and Fairfield had used those traffic cameras.

Clark County cities like Springfield had used those traffic cameras.

So far, Trotwood and Dayton have continued to use those traffic cameras.

I Had Enough Of Bernie Sanders And His Supporters!

Bernie Sanders admarant supporters are a bunch of assholes. Nina Turner is a prime example of an asshole.
The time is now.

I had enough of the trolls trying to force Americans to embrace the cult of identity.

Guess what's trending on Twitter today, #IDontLikeJoeBiden and #hellnojoe.

The troll farm is still trying to divide Democrats.

What's worse to have?

A troll in the White House or another troll running for the nomination to beat that troll?

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is an angry man. He's angry that the Democratic Party is rallying around his rival instead of him. He's now calling them "the establishment" because of it.

Sanders who is an independent senator from Vermont who caucuses with the Democrats in the U.S. Senate. He is a progressive and democratic socialist. He has wonderful ideas but no plans on how to enact them. He has a complained about the records of his rivals but he has no record as a U.S. Representative and later Senator.
Sanders with Killer Mike. The hip-hop star and activist has been a controversial supporter of Sanders.
He's a career politician just like Biden.

He's calling himself not a part of the "status quo."

He is creating a rift within the party and it's starting to frustrate Democrats.

Last month he made this tweet.

Some see this remark as a slap in the face to the Democratic Party's diverse base of voters. He called folks who don't vote for him a part of the "establishment."

Okay, what if they did vote for him?

A lot of stuff to fill in folks.
Shaun King is a controversial figure. He supports Sanders and has been pushing propaganda. He was once a prominent figure in the Black Lives Matter movement. He no longer represents that aspect.
His main rival swept through Super Tuesday. It made Sanders path to the delegation victory more difficult. Sanders and his supporters are now blaming Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) as one of the factors to why he's trailing in the polls. Mind you that we're not into the next round of primaries and caucuses.

Joe Biden, the former Vice President of the United States pulled off a major victory on super Tuesday.

Biden was almost at political suicide. After the South Carolina Democratic primary, the Democrats started to unite around him. Former South Bend mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and former Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke helped Biden secure enough votes to sweep ten of the 14 states.

The former vice president managed to carry: Virginia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, Maine, Minnesota and Texas.

Now the Sanders' supporters (the so-called Bernie Bros) are sowing discourse in this primary by talking about Biden's record as a senator.

They're comparing apples to a box of nails. See Sanders doesn't have much accomplishments as a Senator and yet, the trolls are trying to justify a "lack of record" to a "proven record."

This week, the agitators were amped up.

Former Ohio state senator Nina Turner and Hilary Rosen go into a verbal spat over Martin Luther King, Jr. on CNN.

Shaun King, the Black Lives Matter activist gets into a feud with Rachel Maddow over allegations she made on MSNBC. She didn't and King continued to push the notion that MSNBC was conspiring with the DNC to hurt Sanders.

Michael Moore is being invited on television to talk nasty about Warren, Biden and Buttigieg.

David Sirota continues to peddle the notion that Russia had nothing to do with the 2016 election. He appeared on RT, a propaganda tool for the Russian government.

Cenk Uygur and The Young Turks are attacking the candidates on their record but refuse to address Sanders on his record.

Shaun King, Cornel West, Nina Turner, Killer Mike, Cenk Uygur, Thom Hartmann, David Sirota, Michael Moore and Benjamin Dixon are toxic figures. Sanders being surrounded by these fools will not help him win over voters in states like Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Illinois and Pennsylvania.
Michael Moore is an insufferable human being.
If Sanders continues to fall behind in the delegate count, he will complain about the "establishment" trying to keep him from winning the nomination. He will not concede to the fact that Black voters aren't appealing to his campaign. He will not concede to the fact that younger voters didn't turn out in mass to support him. He will not concede that he burnt bridges when he took on Warren, Bloomberg, Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA). His campaign was built on divisiveness and its Trumpian.

Trump won on being the loudest voice in the room. He might win again on this notion. But damn it, I am not going to support Sanders if he continues to allow these fucking idiots speak on behalf of him.

Sanders himself proven to be a troll.

Sanders' surrogates are insufferable. They are not productive and they're agitators who have no credibility in this primary. They are driving a wedge between Democrats who want to protect the House and win back the Senate. Hell, I'll be more comfortable with the Democrats holding both chambers and Trump as president. If the Democrats do win the White House, the Republicans will oppose the agenda and cause chaos.

If Sanders becomes the nominee, I'll back him. I will campaign as hard as I could to make him our next president.

If Biden become the nominee, I'll back him. I will campaign as hard as I could to make him our next president.

Enough of the bullshit.

Let's rally together and the beat this motherfucker, Donald J. Trump.

How Stupid Can You Be? [NSFW]

You can't fix stupid!
Issues that matter to our blog.
  • Women of color.
  • Children of color.
  • Black men being killed by law enforcement.
  • The racial-motivated campaigns against Barack and Michelle Obama.
  • The rise of white extremism in the United States.
  • Donald Trump and his idiotic presidency.
  • Issues that face our community (i.e. food deserts, gerrymandering poverty, gun violence, gentrification, etc.)
  • The actions of inept leadership in Congress.
  • The actions of those in the entertainment industry.
  • You can't fix stupid stories.
  • You can't change a person's mind stories.
  • How to ignore trolls.
Americans are doing viral challenges. Yeah, those funny videos that show a person doing a stunt to generate click bait and junk food media coverage.

Well when it comes to food and the safety of the community, some folks are doing these challenges and it could land them in the iron college.

You can't fix stupid!

Reminder: You can't fix stupid. You keep electing stupid. The whole world is stupid. We watch stupid. We are living with stupid. We work with stupid. We continue to embrace stupid.

Again, why would you want to risk your reputation, your job, your health, your freedom, your finances and your life for click bait?

Rules are made for a reason. Rules are there for the safety of yourself and others

What the fuck is going on with these people?
She seems to like the challenge as well. This woman tried this shit last year. She could get five years for this.
I mean how dumb are they?

This 24-year old man was sentenced to 30 days in the county lockup after he was caught on camera licking Blue Bell Ice Cream containers at a local Walmart.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Department said that this idiot filmed himself licking a tub of Blue Bell Ice Cream in a Port Arthur, Texas Walmart. He licked the tub and then threw the tub back into the freezer.

Surveillance footage showed that Anderson did purchase the licked container. However, the store felt that regardless of the purchase, they had contaminated products and his actions led the company destroying all of the products.
Smirking in his mugshot, the fool was told to stay away from Walmart after his prank.
He was arrested on misdemeanor charges. He got deliberate tampering of food and medicine, criminal mischief, vandalism and trespassing. The charges would have put him in the iron college for up to at least one year. He took a plea deal and apologized for his actions.

He said that the actions were stupid.

"I knew it was going to go viral, but I didn't know it was going to go viral that fast," he told the junk food media.

The state prosecutor said his actions "caused public concerns about the safety and quality of consumer products offered for public consumption, impacted Blue Bell consumer confidence and cause the company financial loss. This type of action will not be tolerated."

The suspect was told to pay the fine, pay for Walmart's clean up and disposal of products, not be allowed to ever set foot in the Walmart stores in the area and pay Blue Bell Creamery for the damages.

Allegedly, he's a prankster who is very popular on social media. He was escorted off the Toyota Center property after he attempted to show out on the court.

TikTok is a very popular app. I am very cautious about getting it. I believe it's a spyware app that tracks your images. Those images could be used in propaganda. Your image could be used in fake accounts on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

The Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China are using resources to interfere in the U.S. Presidential Elections. TikTok is said to be a gateway for foreign influences.

[Chorus]
I got one girl from Philly, I think her name Nicki
And I fuck with Nicki 'cause she not too picky
And she not too choosy, but sometimes she bougie
I play with her kitty until it get sticky
I'm movin' the bit just like an alien
Chop with a fifty, my Uzi Israeli
See, I turned to the boss, can't deal with no middleman
Anthony Davis, don't deal with the Pelicans (What?)
Straight out the mud, we got that work that turn you to the Grudge
Leave you slime like a snail, you get hit with these slugs
I say how I feel and I do what I want
And not just because it is what it was
I'm high like a bird, man, but don't got no Lugz
Know you heard what I said, got this shit out the mud
I'm not in these streets, I'm just close with the plug
I just saw his mother, I gave her a hug

[Verse 1]
Bitch, I'm 'bout the work, nigga, just hide that, supply that
Stuff a hundred rounds in the compact, content
I probably fucked the bitch from your hometown projects
Opened up her mouth, put my dick all inside that
She don't get high, but she geeked off the contact
That's why I'll never, ever, ever keep in contact (Yeah)
Just closed case, so a nigga can't find that, baby, where your mind at?
Come here, girl, sign that, matter fact, oh, never mind then
Front door, find that after the climax
And she screamin' my name every time we behind it
When I heard the door, get up, baby, where my nine at?
Water on my neck, 3D like it's IMAX (Water)
Diamonds turned a bird to a goddamn blind bat
Ass so fat that I got to hit beside that
Heard a nigga put his Lamb' trucks on finance (Finance)
Woah (No, no, no), y'all niggas insane
No, we're not the same, I'm more like a big body (Skrrt), you like a Range
These niggas, they frauds, they preppin' my game (Vroom)
Like, what's up with that? (No, for real)
I just bought the Maybach, yeah, and that shit all matte black, yeah

[Chorus]
I got one girl from Philly, I think her name Nicki
And I fuck with Nicki 'cause she not too picky
And she not too choosy, but sometimes she bougie

[Verse 2]
Yeah, ever since Clifford, yeah, Uzi been the big dog

Every outfit, yeah, I gotta get the pic' off

Ran this shit back like a motherfuckin' kickoff
(I just ran this shit back like a motherfuckin' kickoff)
Forty-five-hundred for some Margiela kick-offs
Got the yellow diamond Patek on my wrist, too pissed off
Laughin' to the bank, it's funny (Ha-ha)
Go get you some, go get your own money
Hold on, I got you with some long money

Lil Uzi Vert (born Symere Woods) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He gained national recognition following the release of the commercial mixtape Luv Is Rage. It lead to him signing to Atlantic Records.

Uzi has been teasing Eternal Atake since December 2018. As fans know, he first teased it during his homecoming Lil Uzi Vert & Friends show in Philadelphia. During the concert, he told the crowd that the album was finally completed. While he didn't share its release date, he seemed to hint that it would drop in the coming weeks.

Here's a classic single from Lil Uzi Vert. The single "Change My Phone" off the 1017 vs. The World mixtape with Gucci Mane.

The Medical Center At Elizabeth Place In Dayton Closes!

Dayton loses another hospital. The Elizabeth Place Medical Hospital closes.
The Great American Comeback.

The Dayton hospital is closing. The hospital located on the campus of the St. Elizabeth's Hospital will cease operations by the end of the month. It will leave 60 people without jobs. The facility located on the Edwin C. Moses Boulevard corridor was operational for nearly 15 years.

Executives said that financial issues led to the closure of the 12-bed Medical Center at Elizabeth Place. It offered a variety of medical services from cardiology to neurology to radiology.

The hospital was not profitable said its top executives.

The former St. Elizabeth's Hospital closed early 2000 was brought back to life with the rise of Elizabeth Place. The medical center has significant presence in the building. It's not completely empty.

There are a handful of businesses and offices inside the old hospital. They will remain in the facility for the time being.

Wright State University once had its psychiatric program in the facility. The facility moved to the main campus in Fairborn, Ohio.

The closing of this facility comes fresh after Premiere Health Partners deciding to close up the Good Samaritan Hospital on the northwest side of Dayton. The closure of that hospital was controversial.

Many residents believe that decision greatly affected an already depressed area. The whole area around that hospital has seen a round of closings.

Fast food restaurants and name-brand businesses within a seven mile radius have left Dayton, Trotwood, Harrison Township and Clayton. The impact was also felt when Kroger closed its Northridge location. The tornado that impacted Dayton destroyed Grocerylane a longtime staple of Old North Dayton. The Foodtown, Burlington Stores and the Hara Arena left Trotwood.

Dayton is not doing so well. I mean it lost a lot of businesses. The tornado destroyed portions of the city. It's nearly a year and the government is still slow on the ball to get Dayton back to normal.

The loss of a hospital in a community hurts. It really hurts the residents who need emergency services.

This coronavirus is a global epidemic. Donald J. Trump and his allies have wasted so much time trying to cut regulations, they may have inadvertently allowed this disease enter our country.

Dayton hasn't had a confirmed case of the virus yet. But it will eventually make it here and folks will have no opportunity to find a hospital with good beds unless they're living in the suburbs outside of Dayton.

Achoo!

The jobs report is out. Why isn't Trump bragging about it?
Despite a handful of mass shootings, the coronavirus and the uncertainty of the global trade market, the U.S. Department of Labor releases its February jobs report. In a country of 335.6 million people, there were 273,000 jobs added to the economy. It will be adjusted in April. Trust me, there's not that many jobs in the United States. There's 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories.

You're telling me that all these jobs being issued in the country?

We have an active workforce at 63%.

So that means about 132 million people aren't working.

Nonfarm payrolls grew far more than expected in February as companies continue to hire leading into growing into the coronavirus scare.

The Labor Department said that the U.S. economy added these jobs during the month, while the unemployment rate was at 3.5%, matching its lowest level in more than 50 years. So that means when the U.S. population was at 248 million at the time, and populations were isolated to the manufacturing centers. The Midwest, Mountain West and Northeast have no strong population growth.

The February jobs report, which includes data collected before the coronavirus epidemic hit the U.S., also shows the unemployment rate fell from 3.6 percent to 3.5 percent. Wage growth ticked up slightly to 3 percent for the year, still a modest rate in a robust economy.

Markets barely blinked Friday morning, despite the healthy monthly figures, with traders continuing to focus on how the viral outbreak could hammer the economy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is set to open with a decline of around 700 points.

The BLS also revised up employment figures for the last two months, with January increasing from 225,000 to 273,000; and December going from 147,000 to 184,000. The economy needs to add around 100,000 jobs each month to keep pace with the working population.

Regardless of any coronavirus impact, declines are expected in the jobs number going forward. As the labor market tightens, there are fewer workers looking for a job.

Things that make you go hmmm....!

1. Donald J. Trump becomes the third U.S. President to be impeached while in office. He escapes being removed from office by the U.S. Senate. The Senate rejects witnesses and evidence. They quickly acquitted Trump. The trial offered extensive evidence. Republicans weren't convinced by the evidence and voted to acquit him. This acquittal assures Trump will ask for help from foreign entities yet again.

2. The Democrats have rallied around Joe Biden in the race to replace Trump. The only candidates that are running are Biden, Bernie Sanders and the remains of Tulsi Gabbard. The Super Tuesday primaries are over and Democrats feel comfortable with Biden. Even though, he's going in a weak frontrunner, Biden is starting to pick up momentum and Republicans are back to rehashing the Ukraine conspiracies.

3. The U.S. has nearly 400 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. The disease has spread across the states and many individuals are dying from it. Trump is blaming Barack Obama for his failure to get the ball rolling on prevention. Trump deregulations have finally taken a toll.

4. Brick and mortar stores are shuttering in suburbia. JCPenney, Macy's, Pier 1 Imports, Forever 21, Hallmark, Kmart, Sears, Walgreens, Walmart, Kroger are closing stores. Walmart and Kroger are no longer operating stores on a 24-hour format. They are closing stores at midnight and 1am to eliminate workers.

5. No one is seeing the results of the Job and Tax Cuts Act passed in 2017. The tax cuts are not showing massive success. So far, no change in the wage gap between the middle class and wealthy.

6. Folks are working one or more jobs to stay afloat. Conservatives are claiming that folks who are on the safety net are worthless and lazy. They don't realize that many Americans are working more than 40 hours and are often staying longer hours or working a second job to pay rent, mortgage or vehicle expenses. Insurance rates are up due to Trump rolling back regulations, eliminating the insurance mandate of the Affordable Care Act, and private insurance companies aren't paying for natural disasters and human based disasters.

7. Trump and his administration did subliminal cuts to food stamps, housing credits and disaster relief. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration in their attempts to cut the safety net from immigrants who have American born children and working class families who are struggling to find food in area affected by food deserts, blight and natural disasters.

8. The Supreme Court is hearing cases on women's health and abortion. It seems like the conservative majority is likely to restrict a woman's right to choose. Yet, they'll be happy to send individuals to the death chamber.

Nonetheless, Republicans will conclude that Trump's economy is great. Democrats will conclude that Trump's economy sucks. None of them will offer much other than the same old tired talking points about tax cuts, raising taxes on the rich and fixing roads and bridges. The same old shit but from a different face.

No one can wait forever for changes. Congress is made up of old, white and well off politicians.
The uncertainty of the economy. Trump's terrible deals affect the global market.
Any person of color who is a member of the House or Senate are vilified or ridiculed because the white establishment continues to deny a place for everyone at the table.

Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are old white millionaires.

They make up the status quo of politics. They will not work together and solve problems. Yeah, I hate Trump and all that he stands for. But damn it, we need to focus on getting at least things done. Pelosi and Schumer are pretty much done with Trump, McConnell and McCarthy.

He's impeached. That title will stay with him for the rest of his god awful legacy.

Bernie Sanders is going to drag the Democrats again. He is likely going to push this all the way to the convention. Biden, is going to be relentlessly dogged about his age, his touching of constituents, his gaffes and his record as a senator and vice president. Trump and Fox News will be distracting supporters with divisiveness. The same shit that helped Trump win. Democrats may have to fight dirty while presenting a viable message or alternative to the status quo.

Democrats are quickly caving to manufactured controversies inspired by talk radio, Fox News and the social media.

The possibility of Trump being reelected has cruised to 65% right now.

Those die-hard Trump supporters will say that his leadership is successful. All the while, they find that their average wages are stalling. Many of these Trump supporters probably lost their jobs. Some are probably losing their homes due to flooding, wildfires and foreclosure.

Food prices, energy prices, rent, city services and college education have risen.

Let me remind you, that Trump and Republicans believe rolling back regulations and austerity are the key factors to a strong economy and job market. The Republicans are not in control of the House of Representatives. The Democrats now control the House and will push for an agenda that Trump will likely oppose. Republicans in the Senate will continue to pass ridiculous laws that hurt the working class and middle class. They are already streamlining federal judges that could rollback years of progress.
Status quo lawmakers.
The inept Senate leadership of Mitch McConnell is slowly getting covered. He is leading our country into the abyss. The Senate is delaying legislation on sensible gun reform. McConnell and many Republicans are fearful of the NRA and white gun owners. They clearly are ignoring the rest of America being fed up with these constant mass shootings.

Trump and Republicans believe that trickle down economics (i.e. free market capitalism) is helping Americans. Really, it's making people work harder and we're not seeing the benefits of it. So far private equity firms are buying corporations and piling on debt. These corporations can't sustain the debt and are forced to declare bankruptcy and eventually liquidation. Many of our nation's largest companies and start-ups have equity firms investing in them. When the firms want their money, they're going to get their money.

With Republicans trying to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, many of Trump's die hard supporters are going to get a culture shock when they find out their health coverage from their employer is terminated it because they are no longer forced to provide it. Or they'll keep hours lower to keep people from obtaining health insurance.

The Jobs and Tax Cut Act has added trillions of dollars of debt to the economy. The results of the tax cuts haven't produced the stability. It's still considered a very unpopular law.

Trump is destroying the economy, causing uncertainty in world and is bring chaos wherever he lands.

I won't say anything positive about him. Regardless of what happens, this is short-term success.

Don't believe the hype.

Nathaniel Woods Passed Away!

Kay Ivey didn't spare the life of Nathaniel Woods. The 44-year old man was convicted of killing three Birmingham, Alabama cops. Even though he didn't pull the trigger, he was still convicted of capital murder. Kim Kardashian-West couldn't stop the execution.
The governor of Alabama, Kay Ivey didn't commute or reprieve the condemnation of a man.

Not even the support of a celebrity agitator could stop a man from the DEATH card.

The nation is talking about the life of Nathaniel Woods. The State of Alabama has executed Woods an hour ago and folks are talking about how the criminal justice system for people of color is totally fucked up.
Kay Ivey is a hypocrite.
The Supreme Court of the United States didn't save his life.

Woods was convicted of killing three Birmingham cops in 2004.

Woods didn't even shoot the cops. Many states have a collability law where even if you're not involved in the shooting, you're participation in criminal activities makes you just as guilty.

Celebrities speak out. Even controversial figures like Tariq Nasheed, OJ Simpson, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Shaun King chim in.

The controversial execution of Nathaniel Woods was carried out late Thursday in Alabama just minutes after the Supreme Court denied a temporary stay, issued only hours earlier.

The decision came after Ivey reviewed the letter requesting a reprieve from the death sentence, but said she would allow the execution to proceed.

"Governor Ivey does not presently intend to exercise her powers of commutation or reprieve in this case," general counsel William G. Parker Jr. wrote. "While Governor Ivey reserves the right to grant clemency at any time before an execution is carried out, she has determined, based on her review of the complete record, including the matters presented in your letter, that clemency for Mr. Woods at this hour is unwarranted."

Woods, 44, was killed by lethal injection at the William C. Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, Alabama.

"The fight is far from over. Nathaniel is an innocent man, and that will always be the truth. We are not giving up," the family said in a statement provided to ABC News.

Supporters were calling for Ivey to grant a reprieve. As of Thursday morning, Ivey offered no sign that she would intervene in Williams' case and it appeared the execution would go as planned.

But late Thursday, Supreme Court Judge Clarence Thomas issued a temporary stay in the minutes leading up to the execution of Woods, who was convicted of capital murder in the 2004 killings of three Birmingham, Alabama, police officers.

He already requested his final meal of sweet potatoes, spinach, chicken patty, chicken leg quarter, cooked apples, fries, two oranges and orange flavored drink, according to a statement from Alabama Department of Corrections. However, he only took one bite of the chicken and left the rest of his meal untouched, the statement read.

Woods also made calls earlier that day to his father, sister, daughter and mother, as well as friends. His imam was expected to be the only person present at the execution.

At news of the temporary stay, the son of civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr., who had joined a chorus of calls to halt the execution, praised the move.

A spokeswoman with the Alabama Department of Corrections told ABC News that the execution warrant did not run out until 11:59 p.m., meaning they had until then to carry out the execution once the court decided to lift the temporary stay.

On Tuesday, King sent a letter to Ivey, a Republican, reading, "I stand with hundreds of thousands of Americans across Alabama and the nation, pleading with you not to execute Nathaniel Woods."

In his letter, King, who was born in Alabama, told Ivey her state was "set to kill a man who is very likely innocent."
Three cops were killed in 2004 by a terrorist. Nathaniel Woods wasn't the terrorist who killed him. But he got sentenced to the death card.
King told Fox News Thursday, "If a person is innocent they should not be killed in this country. People have been killed and [hanged] for doing nothing. And in this context, if that is the prospect, we ought to at least go through the facts, go through the information, give the system the opportunity to work if it did not work."

As of Thursday afternoon, more than 91,000 people had signed a petition on the website Change.org to stop the execution of Woods, who would become the first person executed in Alabama this year and the 67th since the state reinstated the death penalty in 1976. Ivey noted two Alabama citizens had been executed since 1983 as being accomplices to capital murder.

Woods' alleged accomplice, Kerry Spencer, confessed to being the sole gunman who killed the officers with a high-powered weapon, but separate juries convicted him and Woods of four capital murder charges, including killing the officers in the course of committing another crime.

"The state offered the testimony of 39 witnesses at Woods’ capital murder trial, including Officer Michael Collins, 25 other law enforcement officers, and forensic experts," Ivey wrote in a lengthy statement announcing Woods' execution. "There is no evidence, and no argument has been made, that Nathaniel Woods tried to stop the gunman from committing these heinous crimes. In fact, he later bragged about his participation in these horrific murders. As such, the jury did not view Woods’ acts as those of an innocent bystander; they believed that he was a fully engaged participant."

Spencer's trial was held before Woods' case was heard by a jury, but his execution date has yet to be set.

During both trials, prosecutors presented the juries the theory that Woods and Spencer acted in tandem to lure the officers into the apartment to kill them.

On June 17, 2004, Birmingham police officers Carlos Owen, Harley Chisholm III and Charles Bennett were shot to death while executing a misdemeanor assault warrant for Woods at a suspected crack house in Birmingham. A fourth officer was also shot, but survived and testified against Woods.

A jury convicted Woods in December 2005, and in a nonunanimous verdict of 10-2 recommended a sentence of death.

Chisholm's sister has come out against the execution, saying in a statement to ABC News provided by Wood's family: "I am writing to express my sincere wishes for Governor Ivey to stop the execution of Nathaniel Woods. I am the sister of Harley Chisholm III. I do not think that Nathaniel is guilty of murder. I urge Governor Ivey to reconsider her decision not to intervene."

"There is no harm in allowing more time for the courts to investigate," the statement added. "I want the new evidence to be brought forward and evaluated by new attorneys. Please do not move forward with the hasty decision to execute Nathaniel. My conscience will not let me live with this if he dies. I beg you to have mercy on him."

Alabama State Attorney General Steve Marshall said in a statement Wednesday that Woods was "correctly found guilty and sentenced to death by a jury of his peers."

"The only injustice in the case of Nathaniel Woods is that which was inflicted on those four policemen that terrible day in 2004," Marshall said in the statement.

Woods appealed his conviction, arguing his lawyer gave him inadequate representation by misinforming him that he could not be convicted of capital murder as an accomplice and convincing him to reject a plea deal prosecutors offered him of 20 to 25 years in prison, according to court records.

"A jury of Mr. Woods’ peers convicted him of four counts of capital murder," Ivey wrote Thursday night. "In the past 15 years, his conviction has been reviewed at least nine times, and no court has found any reason to overturn the jury’s decision."

Woods' appeal was denied by the Alabama Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.

In his letter to Ivey, King stated that Woods "has never had a fair trial" and has not gotten the opportunity to present new evidence since his conviction bolstering his claim that Spencer acted alone and that there was never a plan to lure the officers into an ambush.

The case has also garnered the attention of celebrities like Kim Kardashian West, who has become an advocate for criminal justice reform. She tweeted Thursday, Woods "is scheduled to be executed in Alabama TONIGHT for murders he did NOT commit. Join the broad coalition- including members of the jury and relatives of the victims – in urging @GovernorKayIvey and @AGSteveMarshall to stay Nate’s execution."
