The racial-motivated campaigns against Barack and Michelle Obama.
The rise of white extremism in the United States.
Donald Trump and his idiotic presidency.
Issues that face our community (i.e. food deserts, gerrymandering poverty, gun violence, gentrification, etc.)
The actions of inept leadership in Congress.
The actions of those in the entertainment industry.
You can't fix stupid stories.
You can't change a person's mind stories.
How to ignore trolls.
Americans are doing viral challenges. Yeah, those funny videos that show a person doing a stunt to generate click bait and junk food media coverage.
Well when it comes to food and the safety of the community, some folks are doing these challenges and it could land them in the iron college.
You can't fix stupid!
Reminder: You can't fix stupid. You keep electing stupid. The whole world is stupid. We watch stupid. We are living with stupid. We work with stupid. We continue to embrace stupid.
Again, why would you want to risk your reputation, your job, your health, your freedom, your finances and your life for click bait?
Rules are made for a reason. Rules are there for the safety of yourself and others
What the fuck is going on with these people?
She seems to like the challenge as well. This woman tried this shit last year. She could get five years for this.
I mean how dumb are they?
This 24-year old man was sentenced to 30 days in the county lockup after he was caught on camera licking Blue Bell Ice Cream containers at a local Walmart.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Department said that this idiot filmed himself licking a tub of Blue Bell Ice Cream in a Port Arthur, Texas Walmart. He licked the tub and then threw the tub back into the freezer.
Surveillance footage showed that Anderson did purchase the licked container. However, the store felt that regardless of the purchase, they had contaminated products and his actions led the company destroying all of the products.
Smirking in his mugshot, the fool was told to stay away from Walmart after his prank.
He was arrested on misdemeanor charges. He got deliberate tampering of food and medicine, criminal mischief, vandalism and trespassing. The charges would have put him in the iron college for up to at least one year. He took a plea deal and apologized for his actions.
He said that the actions were stupid.
"I knew it was going to go viral, but I didn't know it was going to go viral that fast," he told the junk food media.
The state prosecutor said his actions "caused public concerns about the safety and quality of consumer products offered for public consumption, impacted Blue Bell consumer confidence and cause the company financial loss. This type of action will not be tolerated."
The suspect was told to pay the fine, pay for Walmart's clean up and disposal of products, not be allowed to ever set foot in the Walmart stores in the area and pay Blue Bell Creamery for the damages.
Allegedly, he's a prankster who is very popular on social media. He was escorted off the Toyota Center property after he attempted to show out on the court.
TikTok is a very popular app. I am very cautious about getting it. I believe it's a spyware app that tracks your images. Those images could be used in propaganda. Your image could be used in fake accounts on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
The Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China are using resources to interfere in the U.S. Presidential Elections. TikTok is said to be a gateway for foreign influences.

I got one girl from Philly, I think her name Nicki
And I fuck with Nicki 'cause she not too picky
And she not too choosy, but sometimes she bougie
I play with her kitty until it get sticky
I'm movin' the bit just like an alien
Chop with a fifty, my Uzi Israeli
See, I turned to the boss, can't deal with no middleman
Anthony Davis, don't deal with the Pelicans (What?)
Straight out the mud, we got that work that turn you to the Grudge
Leave you slime like a snail, you get hit with these slugs
I say how I feel and I do what I want
And not just because it is what it was
I'm high like a bird, man, but don't got no Lugz
Know you heard what I said, got this shit out the mud
I'm not in these streets, I'm just close with the plug
I just saw his mother, I gave her a hug
[Verse 1]
Bitch, I'm 'bout the work, nigga, just hide that, supply that
Stuff a hundred rounds in the compact, content
I probably fucked the bitch from your hometown projects
Opened up her mouth, put my dick all inside that
She don't get high, but she geeked off the contact
That's why I'll never, ever, ever keep in contact (Yeah)
Just closed case, so a nigga can't find that, baby, where your mind at?
Come here, girl, sign that, matter fact, oh, never mind then
Front door, find that after the climax
And she screamin' my name every time we behind it
When I heard the door, get up, baby, where my nine at?
Water on my neck, 3D like it's IMAX (Water)
Diamonds turned a bird to a goddamn blind bat
Ass so fat that I got to hit beside that
Heard a nigga put his Lamb' trucks on finance (Finance)
Woah (No, no, no), y'all niggas insane
No, we're not the same, I'm more like a big body (Skrrt), you like a Range
These niggas, they frauds, they preppin' my game (Vroom)
Like, what's up with that? (No, for real)
I just bought the Maybach, yeah, and that shit all matte black, yeah
[Chorus]

Forty-five-hundred for some Margiela kick-offs
Got the yellow diamond Patek on my wrist, too pissed off
Laughin' to the bank, it's funny (Ha-ha)

Lil Uzi Vert (born Symere Woods) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He gained national recognition following the release of the commercial mixtape Luv Is Rage. It lead to him signing to Atlantic Records.
Uzi has been teasing Eternal Atake since December 2018. As fans know, he first teased it during his homecoming Lil Uzi Vert & Friends show in Philadelphia. During the concert, he told the crowd that the album was finally completed. While he didn't share its release date, he seemed to hint that it would drop in the coming weeks.
Here's a classic single from Lil Uzi Vert. The single "Change My Phone" off the 1017 vs. The World mixtape with Gucci Mane.
Dayton loses another hospital. The Elizabeth Place Medical Hospital closes.
The Great American Comeback.
The Dayton hospital is closing. The hospital located on the campus of the St. Elizabeth's Hospital will cease operations by the end of the month. It will leave 60 people without jobs. The facility located on the Edwin C. Moses Boulevard corridor was operational for nearly 15 years.
Executives said that financial issues led to the closure of the 12-bed Medical Center at Elizabeth Place. It offered a variety of medical services from cardiology to neurology to radiology.
The hospital was not profitable said its top executives.
The former St. Elizabeth's Hospital closed early 2000 was brought back to life with the rise of Elizabeth Place. The medical center has significant presence in the building. It's not completely empty.
There are a handful of businesses and offices inside the old hospital. They will remain in the facility for the time being.
Wright State University once had its psychiatric program in the facility. The facility moved to the main campus in Fairborn, Ohio.
The closing of this facility comes fresh after Premiere Health Partners deciding to close up the Good Samaritan Hospital on the northwest side of Dayton. The closure of that hospital was controversial.
Many residents believe that decision greatly affected an already depressed area. The whole area around that hospital has seen a round of closings.
Fast food restaurants and name-brand businesses within a seven mile radius have left Dayton, Trotwood, Harrison Township and Clayton. The impact was also felt when Kroger closed its Northridge location. The tornado that impacted Dayton destroyed Grocerylane a longtime staple of Old North Dayton. The Foodtown, Burlington Stores and the Hara Arena left Trotwood.
Dayton is not doing so well. I mean it lost a lot of businesses. The tornado destroyed portions of the city. It's nearly a year and the government is still slow on the ball to get Dayton back to normal.
The loss of a hospital in a community hurts. It really hurts the residents who need emergency services.
This coronavirus is a global epidemic. Donald J. Trump and his allies have wasted so much time trying to cut regulations, they may have inadvertently allowed this disease enter our country.
Dayton hasn't had a confirmed case of the virus yet. But it will eventually make it here and folks will have no opportunity to find a hospital with good beds unless they're living in the suburbs outside of Dayton.
The jobs report is out. Why isn't Trump bragging about it?
Despite a handful of mass shootings, the coronavirus and the uncertainty of the global trade market, the U.S. Department of Labor releases its February jobs report. In a country of 335.6 million people, there were 273,000 jobs added to the economy. It will be adjusted in April. Trust me, there's not that many jobs in the United States. There's 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories.
You're telling me that all these jobs being issued in the country?
We have an active workforce at 63%.
So that means about 132 million people aren't working.
Nonfarm payrolls grew far more than expected in February as companies continue to hire leading into growing into the coronavirus scare.
The Labor Department said that the U.S. economy added these jobs during the month, while the unemployment rate was at 3.5%, matching its lowest level in more than 50 years. So that means when the U.S. population was at 248 million at the time, and populations were isolated to the manufacturing centers. The Midwest, Mountain West and Northeast have no strong population growth.
The February jobs report, which includes data collected before the coronavirus epidemic hit the U.S., also shows the unemployment rate fell from 3.6 percent to 3.5 percent. Wage growth ticked up slightly to 3 percent for the year, still a modest rate in a robust economy.
Markets barely blinked Friday morning, despite the healthy monthly figures, with traders continuing to focus on how the viral outbreak could hammer the economy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is set to open with a decline of around 700 points.
The BLS also revised up employment figures for the last two months, with January increasing from 225,000 to 273,000; and December going from 147,000 to 184,000. The economy needs to add around 100,000 jobs each month to keep pace with the working population.
Regardless of any coronavirus impact, declines are expected in the jobs number going forward. As the labor market tightens, there are fewer workers looking for a job.
Things that make you go hmmm....!
1. Donald J. Trump becomes the third U.S. President to be impeached while in office. He escapes being removed from office by the U.S. Senate. The Senate rejects witnesses and evidence. They quickly acquitted Trump. The trial offered extensive evidence. Republicans weren't convinced by the evidence and voted to acquit him. This acquittal assures Trump will ask for help from foreign entities yet again. 2. The Democrats have rallied around Joe Biden in the race to replace Trump. The only candidates that are running are Biden, Bernie Sanders and the remains of Tulsi Gabbard. The Super Tuesday primaries are over and Democrats feel comfortable with Biden. Even though, he's going in a weak frontrunner, Biden is starting to pick up momentum and Republicans are back to rehashing the Ukraine conspiracies. 3. The U.S. has nearly 400 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. The disease has spread across the states and many individuals are dying from it. Trump is blaming Barack Obama for his failure to get the ball rolling on prevention. Trump deregulations have finally taken a toll. 4. Brick and mortar stores are shuttering in suburbia. JCPenney, Macy's, Pier 1 Imports, Forever 21, Hallmark, Kmart, Sears, Walgreens, Walmart, Kroger are closing stores. Walmart and Kroger are no longer operating stores on a 24-hour format. They are closing stores at midnight and 1am to eliminate workers. 5. No one is seeing the results of the Job and Tax Cuts Act passed in 2017. The tax cuts are not showing massive success. So far, no change in the wage gap between the middle class and wealthy. 6. Folks are working one or more jobs to stay afloat. Conservatives are claiming that folks who are on the safety net are worthless and lazy. They don't realize that many Americans are working more than 40 hours and are often staying longer hours or working a second job to pay rent, mortgage or vehicle expenses. Insurance rates are up due to Trump rolling back regulations, eliminating the insurance mandate of the Affordable Care Act, and private insurance companies aren't paying for natural disasters and human based disasters. 7. Trump and his administration did subliminal cuts to food stamps, housing credits and disaster relief. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration in their attempts to cut the safety net from immigrants who have American born children and working class families who are struggling to find food in area affected by food deserts, blight and natural disasters. 8. The Supreme Court is hearing cases on women's health and abortion. It seems like the conservative majority is likely to restrict a woman's right to choose. Yet, they'll be happy to send individuals to the death chamber.
Nonetheless, Republicans will conclude that Trump's economy is great. Democrats will conclude that Trump's economy sucks. None of them will offer much other than the same old tired talking points about tax cuts, raising taxes on the rich and fixing roads and bridges. The same old shit but from a different face.
No one can wait forever for changes. Congress is made up of old, white and well off politicians.
The uncertainty of the economy. Trump's terrible deals affect the global market.
Any person of color who is a member of the House or Senate are vilified or ridiculed because the white establishment continues to deny a place for everyone at the table.
Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are old white millionaires.
They make up the status quo of politics. They will not work together and solve problems. Yeah, I hate Trump and all that he stands for. But damn it, we need to focus on getting at least things done. Pelosi and Schumer are pretty much done with Trump, McConnell and McCarthy.
He's impeached. That title will stay with him for the rest of his god awful legacy.
Bernie Sanders is going to drag the Democrats again. He is likely going to push this all the way to the convention. Biden, is going to be relentlessly dogged about his age, his touching of constituents, his gaffes and his record as a senator and vice president. Trump and Fox News will be distracting supporters with divisiveness. The same shit that helped Trump win. Democrats may have to fight dirty while presenting a viable message or alternative to the status quo.
Democrats are quickly caving to manufactured controversies inspired by talk radio, Fox News and the social media.
The possibility of Trump being reelected has cruised to 65% right now.
Those die-hard Trump supporters will say that his leadership is successful. All the while, they find that their average wages are stalling. Many of these Trump supporters probably lost their jobs. Some are probably losing their homes due to flooding, wildfires and foreclosure.
Food prices, energy prices, rent, city services and college education have risen.
Real Reason To Why Unemployment Rate Stays The Way It Is!
1. DEAD 2. BORN 3. IN PRISON 4. IN PRIMARY SCHOOL 5. IN MIDDLE SCHOOL 6. IN HIGH SCHOOL 7. IN COLLEGE NOT LOOKING 8. VOLUNTEER 9. DISABLED 10. STAY AT HOME PARENT 11. RETIRED 12. QUIT ON THEIR OWN 13. NOT HIRING QUALIFIED 14. NATURAL DISASTERS 15. ACTIVE MILITARY 16. NOT HIRING TOO QUALIFIED 17. LAID OFF 18. FIRED FROM THE JOB 19. DESTRUCTION TO FACILITY 20. OUTSOURCING 21. IMMIGRANTS TOO AFRAID OF BEING DETAINED BY I.C.E. 22. SHAMED BY SOCIAL MEDIA
Let me remind you, that Trump and Republicans believe rolling back regulations and austerity are the key factors to a strong economy and job market. The Republicans are not in control of the House of Representatives. The Democrats now control the House and will push for an agenda that Trump will likely oppose. Republicans in the Senate will continue to pass ridiculous laws that hurt the working class and middle class. They are already streamlining federal judges that could rollback years of progress.
Status quo lawmakers.
The inept Senate leadership of Mitch McConnell is slowly getting covered. He is leading our country into the abyss. The Senate is delaying legislation on sensible gun reform. McConnell and many Republicans are fearful of the NRA and white gun owners. They clearly are ignoring the rest of America being fed up with these constant mass shootings.
Trump and Republicans believe that trickle down economics (i.e. free market capitalism) is helping Americans. Really, it's making people work harder and we're not seeing the benefits of it. So far private equity firms are buying corporations and piling on debt. These corporations can't sustain the debt and are forced to declare bankruptcy and eventually liquidation. Many of our nation's largest companies and start-ups have equity firms investing in them. When the firms want their money, they're going to get their money.
With Republicans trying to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, many of Trump's die hard supporters are going to get a culture shock when they find out their health coverage from their employer is terminated it because they are no longer forced to provide it. Or they'll keep hours lower to keep people from obtaining health insurance.
The Jobs and Tax Cut Act has added trillions of dollars of debt to the economy. The results of the tax cuts haven't produced the stability. It's still considered a very unpopular law.
Trump is destroying the economy, causing uncertainty in world and is bring chaos wherever he lands.
I won't say anything positive about him. Regardless of what happens, this is short-term success.
Kay Ivey didn't spare the life of Nathaniel Woods. The 44-year old man was convicted of killing three Birmingham, Alabama cops. Even though he didn't pull the trigger, he was still convicted of capital murder. Kim Kardashian-West couldn't stop the execution.
The governor of Alabama, Kay Ivey didn't commute or reprieve the condemnation of a man.
Not even the support of a celebrity agitator could stop a man from the DEATH card.
RIP Nathaniel Woods 🕊

The court has lifted the temporary stay of execution for #NathanielWoods. The governor will NOT save his life. My heart and prayers are with Nate and his family.

The nation is talking about the life of Nathaniel Woods. The State of Alabama has executed Woods an hour ago and folks are talking about how the criminal justice system for people of color is totally fucked up.
Kay Ivey is a hypocrite.
The Supreme Court of the United States didn't save his life.
Woods was convicted of killing three Birmingham cops in 2004.
Woods didn't even shoot the cops. Many states have a collability law where even if you're not involved in the shooting, you're participation in criminal activities makes you just as guilty.
Celebrities speak out. Even controversial figures like Tariq Nasheed, OJ Simpson, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Shaun King chim in.
BREAKING: Alabama executed Nathaniel Woods tonight—even though he didnt kill anyone & eye witnesses admit he had nothing to do w/the officers killed.
AL Gov Ivey—who claims she believes all life is sacred—refused to stop this innocent man’s execution😓https://t.co/VZyxxH4NhS

“He requested his final meal of sweet potatoes, spinach, chicken patty & leg quarter, cooked apples, fries, two oranges & orange flavored drink. However, he only took one bite of the chicken and left the rest of his meal untouched, the statement read.”
The State of Alabama executed Nathaniel Woods tonight for a crime involving white victims. A stunning 84% of Alabama executions in the modern era have been carried out for crimes involving white victims even though only 20% of the state's homicide victims are white.
In the case of Nathaniel Woods, the actions of the U.S. Supreme Court and the Governor of the State of Alabama are reprehensible, and have potentially contributed to an irreversible injustice. It makes a mockery of justice and constitutional guarantees to a fair trial.

Absolutely infuriating. This system is structurally designed against young black men. Nathaniel Woods, your soul will fuel us to continue the fight for real justice. https://t.co/PgHK7ruznx
.@GovernorKayIvey Please stay the execution of Nathaniel Woods immediately. He is about to be killed for a crime he didn't commit. His sentencing was not unanimous & the shooter has taken full responsibility. Justice must prevail. https://t.co/shBmLFLIXF
This #NathanielWoods lynching was yet another message to Black people that there is a race war against you, you have NO RIGHTS, the Constitution means NOTHING to the white supremacists, and the "I'm white & I say so" rule is the law of the land.
The controversial execution of Nathaniel Woods was carried out late Thursday in Alabama just minutes after the Supreme Court denied a temporary stay, issued only hours earlier.
The decision came after Ivey reviewed the letter requesting a reprieve from the death sentence, but said she would allow the execution to proceed.
"Governor Ivey does not presently intend to exercise her powers of commutation or reprieve in this case," general counsel William G. Parker Jr. wrote. "While Governor Ivey reserves the right to grant clemency at any time before an execution is carried out, she has determined, based on her review of the complete record, including the matters presented in your letter, that clemency for Mr. Woods at this hour is unwarranted."
Woods, 44, was killed by lethal injection at the William C. Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, Alabama.
"The fight is far from over. Nathaniel is an innocent man, and that will always be the truth. We are not giving up," the family said in a statement provided to ABC News.
Supporters were calling for Ivey to grant a reprieve. As of Thursday morning, Ivey offered no sign that she would intervene in Williams' case and it appeared the execution would go as planned.
But late Thursday, Supreme Court Judge Clarence Thomas issued a temporary stay in the minutes leading up to the execution of Woods, who was convicted of capital murder in the 2004 killings of three Birmingham, Alabama, police officers.
He already requested his final meal of sweet potatoes, spinach, chicken patty, chicken leg quarter, cooked apples, fries, two oranges and orange flavored drink, according to a statement from Alabama Department of Corrections. However, he only took one bite of the chicken and left the rest of his meal untouched, the statement read.
Woods also made calls earlier that day to his father, sister, daughter and mother, as well as friends. His imam was expected to be the only person present at the execution.
At news of the temporary stay, the son of civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr., who had joined a chorus of calls to halt the execution, praised the move.
A spokeswoman with the Alabama Department of Corrections told ABC News that the execution warrant did not run out until 11:59 p.m., meaning they had until then to carry out the execution once the court decided to lift the temporary stay.
On Tuesday, King sent a letter to Ivey, a Republican, reading, "I stand with hundreds of thousands of Americans across Alabama and the nation, pleading with you not to execute Nathaniel Woods."
In his letter, King, who was born in Alabama, told Ivey her state was "set to kill a man who is very likely innocent."
Three cops were killed in 2004 by a terrorist. Nathaniel Woods wasn't the terrorist who killed him. But he got sentenced to the death card.
King told Fox News Thursday, "If a person is innocent they should not be killed in this country. People have been killed and [hanged] for doing nothing. And in this context, if that is the prospect, we ought to at least go through the facts, go through the information, give the system the opportunity to work if it did not work."
As of Thursday afternoon, more than 91,000 people had signed a petition on the website Change.org to stop the execution of Woods, who would become the first person executed in Alabama this year and the 67th since the state reinstated the death penalty in 1976. Ivey noted two Alabama citizens had been executed since 1983 as being accomplices to capital murder.
Woods' alleged accomplice, Kerry Spencer, confessed to being the sole gunman who killed the officers with a high-powered weapon, but separate juries convicted him and Woods of four capital murder charges, including killing the officers in the course of committing another crime.
"The state offered the testimony of 39 witnesses at Woods’ capital murder trial, including Officer Michael Collins, 25 other law enforcement officers, and forensic experts," Ivey wrote in a lengthy statement announcing Woods' execution. "There is no evidence, and no argument has been made, that Nathaniel Woods tried to stop the gunman from committing these heinous crimes. In fact, he later bragged about his participation in these horrific murders. As such, the jury did not view Woods’ acts as those of an innocent bystander; they believed that he was a fully engaged participant."
Spencer's trial was held before Woods' case was heard by a jury, but his execution date has yet to be set.
During both trials, prosecutors presented the juries the theory that Woods and Spencer acted in tandem to lure the officers into the apartment to kill them.
On June 17, 2004, Birmingham police officers Carlos Owen, Harley Chisholm III and Charles Bennett were shot to death while executing a misdemeanor assault warrant for Woods at a suspected crack house in Birmingham. A fourth officer was also shot, but survived and testified against Woods.
A jury convicted Woods in December 2005, and in a nonunanimous verdict of 10-2 recommended a sentence of death.
Chisholm's sister has come out against the execution, saying in a statement to ABC News provided by Wood's family: "I am writing to express my sincere wishes for Governor Ivey to stop the execution of Nathaniel Woods. I am the sister of Harley Chisholm III. I do not think that Nathaniel is guilty of murder. I urge Governor Ivey to reconsider her decision not to intervene."
"There is no harm in allowing more time for the courts to investigate," the statement added. "I want the new evidence to be brought forward and evaluated by new attorneys. Please do not move forward with the hasty decision to execute Nathaniel. My conscience will not let me live with this if he dies. I beg you to have mercy on him."
Alabama State Attorney General Steve Marshall said in a statement Wednesday that Woods was "correctly found guilty and sentenced to death by a jury of his peers."
"The only injustice in the case of Nathaniel Woods is that which was inflicted on those four policemen that terrible day in 2004," Marshall said in the statement.
Woods appealed his conviction, arguing his lawyer gave him inadequate representation by misinforming him that he could not be convicted of capital murder as an accomplice and convincing him to reject a plea deal prosecutors offered him of 20 to 25 years in prison, according to court records.
"A jury of Mr. Woods’ peers convicted him of four counts of capital murder," Ivey wrote Thursday night. "In the past 15 years, his conviction has been reviewed at least nine times, and no court has found any reason to overturn the jury’s decision."
Woods' appeal was denied by the Alabama Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.
In his letter to Ivey, King stated that Woods "has never had a fair trial" and has not gotten the opportunity to present new evidence since his conviction bolstering his claim that Spencer acted alone and that there was never a plan to lure the officers into an ambush.
The case has also garnered the attention of celebrities like Kim Kardashian West, who has become an advocate for criminal justice reform. She tweeted Thursday, Woods "is scheduled to be executed in Alabama TONIGHT for murders he did NOT commit. Join the broad coalition- including members of the jury and relatives of the victims – in urging @GovernorKayIvey and @AGSteveMarshall to stay Nate’s execution."

In order for her to not be compared to the famed actress, the entertainer changed her name to Katy Perry and launched a successful pop career. Her most well known hits were "I Kiss A Girl," "Roar" and "California Gurls."
She is currently a host on American Idol on ABC. The reality music competition show rebooted and has Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie as the judges of the show.
She is known as a feminist, LGBTQ activist and supporter of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the eventual 2020 nominee for the Democratic Party.
An Olive Garden server was told to go home after a racist customer refused to pay for food.
Over in Evansville, Indiana, a woman who worked for Olive Garden was embarrassed by the actions of a customer and her manager. She was told to not serve a white customer because of her attire.
Amira Donahue and an unidentified server both claimed that they were targeted with racial discrimination on Saturday.
The incident spawned over a white woman asking for a water at the restaurant.
The woman asked for a server who wasn't Black and the manager complied.
The former Olive Garden employee shares her story with the junk food media. Amira Donahue said that woman berated her and another Black server for no reason.
Donahue shared that the woman's fury was directed at her.
"She stood in the middle of the restaurant and started screaming at me in front of all the customers," Donahue recalled. "The lady also made comments about me to another co-worker saying that I am not family-friendly and that I should go work at a strip club instead of an Olive Garden."
"(She asked) am I even Black, am I from here, am I from America, just like offhand comments like that and referring me to the 'other one.'"
Olive Garden's spokesman Hunter Robinson said that the company does not tolerate discrimination of any type and added that senior leadership would be investigating the incident. They confirmed that the manager was immediately fired out the cannon. The restaurant is hoping to find the customer and have her banned from eating at any of their facilities.
NAACP Evansville spoke on the matter.
Reverend Gerald Arnold stressed that they had not received a formal complaint but added that they were too investigating the matter.
Donahue said that the company and her management should have handle this matter quickly.
"I would never expect it to be so apparent in public like it's 2020, not 1920 and I feel like it should take more than social media to get a problem like this out there," Donahue said.
Elizabeth Warren ends her bid for president. Refuses to endorse Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden.
It's down to two. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and former vice president Joe Biden.
The controversial Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren has formally ended her bid for president.
A very disappointed senator said that she believes gender played a huge role in the race for nomination.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) found that the path to the nomination ended when she took a hard loss in her home state. The state went to Biden causing a major blow to both her and Sanders.
Warren also took aim at both candidates. She said she will not endorse either candidate in this race.
"Not today. I need some space around this, and I want to take a little time to think a little more. I've been spending a lot of time right now on the question of suspending and also making sure that this works as best we can for our staff, for our team, for our volunteers. We don't have to decide [who to endorse at this] minute," said Warren.
She told her supporters to take a deep breath and think about who they want to give their support to.
Warren was a better debater but it didn't help with votes.
Warren returned back to her Cambridge home to address the junk food media.
She claimed that gender played a role in the race.
"Gender in this race, you know that is the big question for everyone. If you say, yeah, there was sexism in this race, everyone says, whiner. And if you say, no, there was no sexism, about the bazillion women think, what planet do you live on? I promise you this, I'll have a lot more to say on that subject later on," Warren said. "I take those pinkie promises seriously."
On a woman becoming the President of the United States, she said that it's going to be hard to get to that threshold.
"The hardest part of this is all those little girls who are going to have to wait four more years. That's going to be hard. I stood in that voting booth and I looked down and saw my name on the ballot. And I though, wow, kiddo, you're not in Oklahoma anymore. That it really was a moment of thinking about how my mother and dad, if they were still here, would feel about this," she said. "It was a long time standing in that booth. I miss my mommy and daddy."
Warren holding back tears told her staff on Thursday that the path to winning is hard. She thanked her staff for all their hard work.
Warren was a strong frontrunner. She broke through a lot of barriers in the race.
"I know that when we set out, this was not the call you ever wanted to hear. It is not the call I ever wanted to make. But I refuse to let disappointment blind me --- or you --- to what we've accomplished. We didn't reach our goal, but what we have done together ---what you have done ---has made a lasting difference we wanted to make, but it matters --- and the changes will have ripples for years to come."
Okay, here's where she's wrong.
She interrupted candidates.
She was condescending. She is stubborn on details of her proposals and she lacked the knowledge to work with Republicans. She is strongly a progressive. She only votes 8% with Donald J. Trump. Sanders votes only 4% with Trump. The very fact she can't support anything regardless is not going to win her support from Republicans and some Democrats.
Sen. Doug Jones (D-AL), Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) were not going to endorse her or Sanders. Jones faces a tough challenge in the general and he felt their brand of progressive policies will sink his already hard bid.
She is a populist who has little to no accomplishments as a lawmaker. Like Sanders, Warren can be insufferable in the Senate. Hillary Clinton said that Trump pulls a "con job" on many Americans by saying he's a successful businessman, entertainer and president. She believes that the cult-like behavior of Warren and Sanders supporters will be a negative on the party as whole if they would unite at the convention in Milwaukee.
You can't promise the house if you ain't got the keys to get in.
Warren and Sanders' feud hurts the progressive cause.
She attacked billionaires. The progressive billionaires like Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg, Tom Steyer, Warren Buffett and Richard Branson would have endorsed her ideas. They don't like being attacked for being billionaires. They would have endorsed her and Sanders only if they would have took the focus on the middle class and how everyone could benefit from their policies. Folks don't care about rich people. Most Americans believe billionaires deserve to be taxed more, but they shouldn't be vilified for being billionaires. She kind of turns off potential entrepreneurs and dreamers.
Warren played two sides of the fence. She never stood up for other female candidates. Like Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and the #MeToo Movement. Warren didn't embrace her stance. She didn't defend Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), who faced an onslaught of hate and gender attacks. Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) didn't face gender attacks or personal attacks on her. It's pretty much a cop out. Her claims that Sanders said a woman can't be president is unvetted.
Yes, the Bernie Bros. Calling her a "snake" and demanding she drop out the race because they claim it splitted the vote, is pathetic. Everyone has a right to be in the race.
Klobuchar, Pete Buttigieg and Beto O'Rourke decided to support Biden over Sanders. They concluded their campaigns before Super Tuesday. If they stayed in the race, they would not have won. Warren failed to work with the rivals in case they would have dropped out.
Warren and Biden spent a whole lot of money in this race. Besides Bloomberg, Warren put millions in the race and ended up either in a distant fourth or fifth place in many of the early contests.
Even though her debate performances were well received, the senator had no particular ideas or anything that could appeal to moderates and conservative Democrats. She wanted the progressive base.
Sanders is facing the same problem as well. He can't build a coalition if he's attacking the folks he's gonna need to win with.
Donald J. Trump relentless mocked her for claiming she's a Native American. The Pocahontas remarks were brutal towards her. Conservatives have accused Warren of racism for making the claim.
Warren let Trump dictate the message about her and it stuck. Same with Biden. Biden should have been more busy taking on the lies about his son and Ukraine. Now that he's back in the race, the Republicans are upping the ante and they are willing to use foreign influence to stop him from winning.
Warren felt that her campaign could have won Minnesota, Utah and Massachusetts. Warren took a hard one when her home state choose Biden over her.
Now it's just three in this race. Yes, three. I know it's a two man race. But the only woman left in this race is still going despite her only picking up one delegate and pretty much wasting our time.
Proof positive Hillary Clinton was right.
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) is the only woman running in this race with a measly delegates.
Gabbard has no clear path to winning. Gabbard continues to appear on Fox News.
Clinton while not mentioning her by name said that one of the candidates in this race is deliberately trying to harm Democrats. The Russian Federation and Republicans are banking on this candidate to siphon off votes in order to help Trump win.
Gabbard took offense to it. She called Clinton, the queen of the warmongers and threw a lawsuit at her.
Gabbard and Sanders both have allegations of embracing Russian influences to win. Trump is also a proud supporter of foreign meddling. He was impeached for demanding a foreign country investigate a political rival for personal gains.
Former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg announces he's dropping out the race and is planning on endorsing Joe Biden. He said that he will continue to push advertising to help Democrats beat Trump.
Bloomberg, who came in the race late was self-financing his election. He was focusing on the Super Tuesday states instead of the traditional Iowa Caucuses, New Hampshire Primary, Nevada Caucuses and South Carolina Primary.
Former Vice President Joe Biden took hard losses in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada. However, his main rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) found his path to the delegation shrink after taking brutal hits in states that normally run towards him. Sanders' remarks about "the establishment" and his supporters turned off voters.
Bloomberg saw his popularly sharply decline. He entered his first debate unprepared. He didn't expect Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to come out with allegations of sexual harassment, his tax returns and his "buying his way to the White House" attacks.
He didn't prepare for the debate and it hurt him badly.
Bloomberg didn't come with the heat. He didn't defend his record as New York City mayor. They accused of him of being a racist and sexist. Bloomberg was accused of enforcing the "stop-and-frisk" policies. The New York Police Department were ordered to stop the practice by a federal court.
Bloomberg did fume about it.
Bloomberg did not hit back on the Obama embrace. Bloomberg endorsed Barack Obama in 2012.
He didn't even call out Warren for being a former Republican. He did at least call out Sanders for not acknowledging to supporters the Russian Federation is deliberately interfering in the primaries.
Bloomberg did not get an opportunity to call out Warren for her fake Native American status. He got hammered of being wealthy.
The failure to take on Warren, Sanders and Biden kind of hurt his chances with voters. Even though, I voted early for Bloomberg, I am still proud to do so. I don't care whether he's a billionaire or not, I rather see the defeat of Trump and Republicans. It doesn't matter how it's done.
"Today, I'm sorry we didn't win but it's still the best day of my life and tomorrow's going to be even better," said Bloomberg in New York City.
Bloomberg thanked his staff, supporters and the Democratic candidates running for the nomination.
The goal is to stop Donald Trump. I will do everything to help Democrats win this election.
"You devoted your days and nights doing the most important job in America -- defeating Donald Trump," he told the crowd.
"No campaign has ever achieved as much as you did in such a short period of time." He said that he got 2 million votes after knocking on doors and canvassing out.
Bloomberg only claimed victory in the U.S. territory of American Samoa.
The data-centric Bloomberg said there was no path to victory any more.
"I am clear eyed about our overriding objective, and that is victory in November. Not victory for me or our campaign but for our country."
Bloomberg had said that the time is now to get behind a candidate who can defeat Trump.
Bloomberg called Biden "my friend and a great American" to a strong applause.
"This really is the best, most creative, most hard-working campaign team ever assembled," said Bloomberg. "And I have to say, there is no doubt in my mind we would've beaten Donald Trump in November. And you know who else knows that? Donald Trump. He's been scared stiff of us for good reason. Because every time he hit us, we hit back twice as hard. And unlike his jabs, our punches packed the truth."
Bloomberg immediately backed Biden and slammed Sanders and Warren as candidates who will not appeal to the coalition of Americans.
I'll explain that in the next posting.
Bloomberg who entered the race was hoping to be the alternative to Biden, Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). He quickly started putting advertising on television and radio.
From this point, I'm going to support Joe Biden from this point on. I have my fears that Biden will likely lose to Donald J. Trump. If he doesn't get a rabid base of supporters and agitators willing to "never apologize" for calling out Trump and Republicans, he'll gain traction.
Trust me, calling Trump and mentally ill man or a retard will not hurt Democrats. It'll rile up Republicans.
"I've known Joe for a very long time. I know his decency, his honesty, and his commitment to the issues that are so important to our country -- including gun safety, health care, climate change and good jobs."
"Today I am glad to endorse [Joe Biden] -- and I will work to make him the next President of the Untied States."
The surprise victory of former vice president Joe Biden on Super Tuesday.
The victories in eight of the fourteen Super Tuesday contests showed that he wasn't buried in the grave yet. He now is leading in the delegates against rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Many Democrats were turned off to Sanders and Warren's populist message.
It also hurted Sanders when he called the Democratic Party leaders (the ones who have to back his campaign if he becomes the nominee), the "establishment." He also faced criticism of how he treated candidates running against him. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-CA), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Michael Bloomberg, Pete Buttigieg and Beto O'Rourke have complained about the Bernie Bros.
Biden did not spend a lot of money in many of these states. Matter of fact, he beaten Sanders and Warren in states they've campaigning heavily in.
In the states of Minnesota, Massachusetts, Maine, and Texas, Biden put less than $100,000 in campaign fundraising and did not put a lot of ads on the television.
As the polls closed on Super Tuesday and results came in, it became clear that Biden had swept the Southern states, winning the primaries in Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas, as well as Minnesota and Massachusetts, and had ended the night with the most delegates.
Sanders came out on top in Colorado, Utah and his home state of Vermont, NBC News projected.
Sanders started his first airing of commercials in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Pennsylvania.
But it's a little too late?
In the next posting I will address Bernie Sanders and his supporters. I have gotten tired of the Bernie Bros. I am getting tired of Shaun King, Thom Hartmann, Cenk Uygur, Michael Moore, David Sirota, Nina Turner and Ryan Knight pushing bullshit this election year. They're the reasons to why Sanders is losing this.
Rep. Betty McCollum (D-MN) doesn't care what AIPAC thinks of her. She says the group is endorsing the genocide of the Palestinian people at the hands of Israel.
Rep. Betty McCollum (D-MN) has coming out swinging against AIPAC.
The progressive lawmaker joins Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) in taking on the largest lobby in the United States.
She said that AIPAC is "weaponizing anti-semitism and hate to silence dissent."
The lawmaker made it clear that AIPAC is toxic to the Democratic Party.
"By weaponizing anti-semitism and hate to silence dissent AIPAC is taunting Democrats and mocking our core values. I hope Democrats understand what is at stake and take a stand, because working to advance peace, human rights and justice is not sinister, it is righteous."
She said that the attacks on her, Omar and Tlaib is disgraceful.
She said AIPAC called the lawmakers a greater threat than the Islamic State.
In a memo, AIPAC said directly: "It's critical that we protect our Israeli allies especially as they face threats from Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS and -- maybe more sinister -- right here in the U.S. Congress."
In an interview with Middle East Eye, McCollum said AIPAC's attacks on Israel's Democratic critics in Congress proves that the organization is not "inclusive or non-partisan" as it claims to be.
"I choose not to attend. Why would I go to an organization that thinks I'm a terrorist, thinks I'm worse than ISIS... I am not going to look the other way and not acknowledge speech that is hateful which was directed towards me," said McCollum.
Rep. Betty McCollum (D-MN) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
She says that Donald J. Trump's peace deal is unfair to the Palestinian people. It pretty much allowing Israel control the land it already occupied and doesn't give the West Bank and Gaza Strip any say.
McCollum was one of the many lawmakers who refuse to support the resolution condemning the BDS movement. The Global Boycott Divestment and Sanction movement is a Palestinian inspired group that is pressuring global leaders to boycott Israel.
Joe Biden, Michael Bloomberg and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) support the American Israeli Political Affairs Committee, a pro-Israel lobbying group that advocates apartheid in the Middle Eastern country.
Warren decided to not attend the AIPAC 2020 conference.
