A Tale Of Two Cop Shootings!

A NYPD officer walks out the hospital thanking supporters. He escaped a death sentence.

There were incidents where law enforcement were shot by armed terrorists.

Let's start in New York City. Of course, Donald J. Trump, Mike Pence, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, mayor Bill de Blasio, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and the 27 members of the U.S. House of Representatives will do their usual thoughts and prayers nonsense.

Since the suspect was a Black male, expect the Russian-backed "Blue Lives Matter" crowd to find some excuse to blame de Blasio, Barack Obama, Black Lives Matter, Al Sharpton, fatherless homes, rap music, violent video games and progressive policies for the actions of this terrorist.

The Daily Mail is a right wing tabloid that labeled this terrorist as a "career criminal."

Dog whistle folks.

The terrorist carried out back-to-back assassination attempts on NYPD officers in The Bronx. The terrorist was taken into custody after he sustained injuries to his face and arm.

The terrorist attacked a Bronx station as well as unprovoked attack on a patrol unit plain clothes.
Terrorist was roughed up after he was taken down. He tried to assassinate NYPD officers. He was upset over an incident where he was hurt by them. He wanted revenge.
The terrorist approached the patrol van in the same part of the Bronx late Saturday and fired at two officers inside, wounding one before escaping on foot. He approached a locked police van with its emergency lights activated and asked for officers inside. He was asking Paul Stroffolino and Brian Hanlon for directions. Once they rolled their window down, the terrorist shot them. He struck Stroffolino in the neck, grazing him. It nearly missed a carotid artery.

Hanlon shot back at the terrorist but missed. Hanlon rushed Stroffolino to the hospital and he was treated for the injuries. It was said the two were friends since middle school and been partners on the beat for years.

The second attack happened at the precinct where he opened fire on Lt. Jose Gautreaux in the arm.

The law released an image of the terrorist. The NYPD were looking for the shooter.

When the shooter appeared to walk into precinct, he opened fire. Gautreaux fired back at the terrorist but missed. The terrorist rushed to a side room and fired at two people, including a civilian employee before retreating into the lobby and diving on the floor when he ran out of bullets.

The terrorist was given a knuckle style chili with onions from the NYPD.

Police commissioner Dermot Shea blamed the attacks on an anti-police atmosphere fueled by protesters. The deflection tactics continue to plague the New York Police Department.

The terrorist said that he was roughed up by the NYPD some years ago. He wanted to show them how pain feels.

That racist union president Patrick Lynch rushed to the cameras to attack Black Lives Matter and de Blasio for the actions of this terrorist.
Cop escaped a death sentence. NYPD officer was shot in the neck. The terrorist almost got him.
Top officials said that NYPD officers should not wear uniforms and logos in public to avoid being a target. Hmm... so no Blue Lives Matter merchandise or propaganda within the NYPD?

You're not born blue!

You were born like everyone else. You're bleed just like us. Just because you wear a badge doesn't mean you're no better than me or anyone else. You're a public servant who has a duty to serve the community. It's not my fault that you have bad cops within your ranks. It's not my fault if I don't show remorse for the lives of cops taken by gun violence. For all the unarmed people killed by police, I would say and I quote: "BAD COPS WILL GET GOOD COPS KILLED."

The officers were treated for their injuries and soon released. The terrorist was arraigned in court today. He is facing attempted murder, felonious assault, having a firearm under disability, fleeing the scene of an accident and assault on a police officer. In the state of New York, the terrorist could face 25 to LIFE in the iron college if convicted.

Trump saw the shooting situation on Fox News because:

He didn't bother to tweet out anything in regards to the shooting in Arkansas.

As expected, Trump, Pence, Gov. Asa Hutchinson, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Sen. John Boozman (R-AK) and the four U.S. Representatives will offer thoughts and prayers.
A terrorist opened fire on two Arkansas cops inside Walmart.
There were shots fired at Walmart in Forrest City, Arkansas. The city is about 75 miles from Little Rock and 60 miles from Memphis.

Two cops were shot.

The terrorist opened fire inside a Walmart.

The officers, Lt. Eric Varner and Detective Eugene Watlington returned fire killing the terrorist.

The shooting happened on Sunday in the mid-morning.

As you know, Walmart has face pressure over the sale of firearms inside their stores.

St. Francis County Sheriff Bobby May said the terrorist was acting strangely and threatening customers. The store called the law.

When the cops arrived, the terrorist would soon pull out a handgun and open fire on them.

The cops returned fire, shooting and killing the terrorist at the scene.

The officers suffered injures and were transported to Memphis area hospitals. They will recover from their injuries.
Two Arkansas cops avoided a death sentence.
There were many incidents involving Walmart. John Crawford III was shot and killed inside a Dayton area Walmart store after a white shopper made a prank call about an armed gunman. The law quickly came into the store and opened fire on him. He was carrying a BB gun. He didn't fire his weapon at cops.

There was a mass shooting inside an El Paso area Walmart. The white terrorist opened fire on shoppers and security. He managed to kill 22 people. He is facing state and federal charges.

There were three people killed in a Duncan, Oklahoma Walmart. A terrorist killed his estranged wife and her boyfriend before he killed himself.

The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The status quo of the gun culture. Now is not the time to talk about gun violence!

If there were more security guards and more civilians (aka the good guy) with a gun.......

They learn how to use firearms from watching (or listening) to gangsta rap.

They watch violent movies.
Terrorist was apparently mentally ill. He opened fire on two Forrest City, Arkansas cops
They don't have fathers or mothers in their lives and it results in them committing criminal acts.

Blah, blah, blah....

Moments of silence, street memorials, naming of public places, saying "Your heart goes out to...," lowering of flags and hashtags are platitudes. They are a huge waste of time. It's a man-made crisis created by a lazy ass government. They are enabling this. Donald J. Trump, Congress and the National Rifle Association are a bunch of lily-livered cowards. They are numb to gun violence.

The "good guy" with a firearm is the most dangerous person to have a firearm. Matter of fact, the NICE GUYS are often the ones who are spurned by society. Bad relationships, losing your job, jealousy over promotions, family feuds and racism are typical NICE GUY issues.

NICE GUYS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS INDIVIDUALS WITH A FIREARM.

THE NICE GUY GETS SPURNED BY SOCIETY. THEY TAKE REVENGE ON SOCIETY.

RESTRAINING ORDERS ARE JUST A PIECE OF PAPER. THEY WILL NOT (I REPEAT) STOP A "MAD" MAN FROM OBTAINING A FIREARM.

Don't you just want to scream!?

Scream in the faces of these damn lawmakers whenever they offer their "thoughts and prayers" to every fucking mass shooting in the United States. They will offer their condolences and say a word vomit how they sympathize with the deceased. Some here will tell us that "now isn't the time to talk." Others will say that "the NRA has too much influence on gun laws."

We will talk about this for a few days and then we're off to another controversy. The next controversy would either be something done by Trump, a politician, an entertainer or we will experience another mass shooting. The next mass shooting will be even worse than the last one.

I repeat myself over and over again! I use the same old copy and paste. I hear the same trolls saying that there's nothing we can do. I keep hearing "concern" trolls telling us that it's their own fault for their own deaths. I hear the same old talking points about "good guys with guns" and "god's given rights."

I am getting really tired of dealing with mass shootings.

Does Donald Trump support police?

Yes.
No.

Every poll I put out comes with the same stupid ass trolls picking something that doesn't resonate with the general consensus. We're getting tired of this.

Every time these folks offer "thoughts and prayers," "their condolences," "their hearts going out to," and "their apologies," they are not sincere. For every naming of a road, park, bench, building and holiday, it won't matter to the community. For every time they lower flags, offer moments of silence and candlelight vigils, we just offer "feel good-isms."

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.

We have mass shootings in the United States everyday. We are the only country in the world that continues to do nothing about this. Donald J. Trump, Congress, the National Rifle Association and agitators in the junk food media have moved on from dealing with this. They're too busy sniping over partisan blame games. With Trump being impeached while in office, he's unlikely to focus on gun violence.

Trump and lawmakers elected to federal office made politics extremely toxic. It's not just the fault of our dear leader and lawmakers, but relentless agitators on the 24/7 cable news channels. They are profiting off division and divisiveness. The internet is also a problem. It's is a breeding ground for potential mass shooters. Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media outlets have been "ground zero" for disinformation, partisan threats and social activism. Incels and social outcasts find their outlets on sites that inspire them to cause harm to their fellow human beings.

It never happens in your community.......! Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. A mass shooting will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how "guns save lives." They don't. The only thing that survives a gun shooting is the gun.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.

THERE IS NO GOD.

Susan Rice: Snoop Dogg Better Back The F**k Off!

Former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice claps at Snoop Dogg.
Former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice claps at Big Snoop and 50 Cent for their relentless attacks on Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey.

CBS News also warned the entertainers that their trolling will result in legal ramifications.

Last week, Gayle King interviewed retired WNBA legend Lisa Leslie on her days knowing Kobe Bryant. In a segment of the interview, King brought up the rape allegations in which Leslie dodged.

It became viral when Big Snoop went to social media to slam King and Oprah Winfrey for attacking Black men and never holding standards to white entertainers like Harvey Weinstein.

The retired NBA star and his daughter Gianna were among nine people killed in a tragic helicopter crash back in January. The private funeral and public celebration will happen on February 24th. It will be a symbolic honor to Bryant and his daughter's jersey numbers.

The former Obama advisor said on social media, she ain't got time for ignorance.

"Respect the family and back off, bitch, before we come get you," Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., said in a video flagged by journalist Yashar Ali.

Big Snoop dissed Gayle King after her interview with Lisa Leslie.
Rice, 55, took exception to the threat and responded with a warning on Twitter.

"This is despicable," she wrote. "Gayle King is one of the most principled, fair and tough journalists alive. Snoop, back the **** off. You come for @GayleKing, you come against an army. You will lose, and it won' t be pretty."

Bryant was accused in 2003 of sexually assaulting a Colorado hotel employee. The charges were later dropped after the employee declined to cooperate with prosecutors. She would eventually settle with Bryant outside of court, and Bryant acknowledged in an apology that the woman did not feel that their encounter was consensual.

Gabrielle Union Sues Simon Cowell!

Gabrielle Union along with DeAndre Arnold and his mother appear at the Academy Awards.

The feud between Gabrielle Union and Simon Cowell took an uglier turn.

Union has decided to sue Cowell because of his unruly behavior on and off set. The 47-year old actress and activist has said that Cowell would often show up to the set with a cigarette in his mouth.

She was allergic to the smoke and the folks running the show ignored her concerns.

Cowell is a known chain-smoker. He often bragged about smoking up to 80 cigarettes a day. He tried to quit the habit but it turned out to be harder than expected.

"If I tried to cut out cigarettes completely, I would have a real problem: too boring," he said.

In California, there is a state law that prohibits employers from "smoking in indoor workplaces, including restaurants, bars and enclosed workplaces." The bill also prohibits smoking in daycare facilities, including private residences. That makes Union's case against Cowell even stronger.
Cowell denies ever having a bad relationship with Union.
Union appeared at the Oscars with the young boy who was told to cut his dreadlocks.

DeAndre Arnold, the high school student who was put in the freezer because he refused to cut his hair showed up with Union and her friends at the 92nd Academy Awards.

Union was booted off America's Got Talent in 2019 after complaining about the toxic work environment. Sources said that Union received multiple complaints about her hairstyles being "too black" for "AGT" before she was fired out the cannon. Her departure has Syro Entertainment and NBC Universal opening up an investigation into her claims.

Nick Cannon: Eminem Is A Product Of Institutional Racism!

Nick Cannon calls Eminem a product of racism.
Nick Cannon still begging for Eminem to respond to the latest round of attacks. The media mogul decided to go ramp up his attacks against the "Rap God."

He says that Eminem is a product of institutional racism.

Celebrity agitator DJ Vlad has been on this kick of bringing on folks who have angst against Eminem.

Who often appear on DJ Vlad include Nick Cannon, Benzino and Lord Jamar. These three have been the most vocal critics of Eminem. These three were also the most harshly dissed by Eminem.

Vlad asked Cannon why did he use the verse of Eminem's old rap dissing black women.

In the hook of Cannon's "Canceled: Invitation," the rapper used "Foolish Pride" with the hook, "Black girls are bitches, Black girls are dumb."

Cannon said that the song was "racist."

Cannon said that he did it on purpose as a social experiment to see if anyone would react to the hook.

He said that he was annoyed by Em's fans defending him. Especially since he's dissing Black women.

Someone remind Nick Cannon, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Benzino and any other high moral entertainer that they can purchase a mirror at the local Dollar Tree. Take a look at it, you see yourself. Folks, these hypocrites are no different than Eminem.

Cannon did "Gigalo" with R. Kelly.

Cannon made an album called, "White People Party Music" in which he dressed up as a white guy trying to encourage people to buy his album.
Eminem isn't even wasting his time going after Nick Cannon.
This feud was over like nearly 10 years ago. It started when his ex-wife, pop singer Mariah Carey dissed Eminem on a song. Em returned fire with "Bombs over Baghdad." Nick Cannon responded with a not so subtle remark about Em's skills as an emcee. The Rap God returned fire with "The Warning" and aimed at both. The feud lasted for a few years and it ended quietly. Nick and Mariah splitted and the media mogul went on to remarry and have another child.

It comes as no surprise that in the age of Donald J. Trump, Black entertainers are starting to make noise about how white executives are exploiting their music. They sign contracts to these major labels and make millions. Now that they're no longer selling music, they're struggling. So they'll end up doing reality television, podcast and other irrelevant talents.

They're mad that Eminem continues to stay relevant. Eminem's last album KAMIKAZE and Music To Be Murdered By were surprise albums. Folks didn't expect Eminem to release albums.

But since, folks continue to demonize his talents, he wants to keep the music flowing.

Nick Cannon is not wrong about white entertainers stealing Black culture. However, going at Eminem is a cop-out. You're an annoying entertainer. I never liked you when you were on Nickelodeon. You remind me of a "minstrel" who wants attention.

Don't come at the crown, if you're not ready to be king!

You come off as a fool.

Nick Cannon and Benzino belong in the clearance bin of your local music store.

Trump Fires Them Out The Cannon!

The orange covers his red face.
Donald J. Trump decided to fire Gordon Sondland, Michael Atkinson, Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, his brother, Yevgeny out the cannon. He also has Mick Mulvaney in his sights.

Fresh off his acquittal from the impeachment trial, Trump has decided to go war against those he perceived as threats to his god awful presidency.

It was the "Friday Night Massacre" says the junk food media.

Trump had Vindman escorted out of the White House. Vindman was removed from the National Security Post.

Sondland who was the ambassador to the European Union was fired out the cannon as well.

Last year, Sondland and Vindman testified under oath before Congress, proving the whistleblower's claims that Trump engaged in disturbing behavior by extorting Ukraine. The General Accounting Office substantiated that claim, stating that Trump's withholding of hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid was illegal.

Some called the retaliation was "criminal."
The White House decided to fire officials who went under oath to testify that Trump did wrong.
Many believe that Trump is acting like Richard Nixon. He's building up a political enemies list and is threatening government officials who dare to call him out on his antics.

Some compare this to the Saturday Night Massacre. A term colloquial to Nixon/

On October 20, 1973, Richard Nixon ordered Elliot Richardson to fire Watergate prosecutor Archibald Cox. Richardson resigned in protest. Nixon told William Ruckelshaus to fire him. He resigned in protest as well. Nixon told Robert Bork to handle the matter. Bork reluctantly did so and sealed his future as the guy who couldn't become an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.

Trump's amps up attacks on the Democrats and calls for the U.S. Justice Department to investigate Hunter Biden.

He even got upset over a photograph of him wearing makeup that gives him an orange glow.

Trump feels like he's emboldened to take on the eventual Democratic nominee. He feels like he can get away with anything.

Orson Bean Passed Away!

Entertainer Orson Bean died in a car accident.
Entertainer Orson Bean passed away. He died after being struck by multiple vehicles in Los Angeles.

The 91-year old was crossing the busy Venice Boulevard in front of the Pacific Resident Theatre when he was clipped by a vehicle and fell.

A second driver then struck him in what the law said was the fatal blow. Both drivers remained at the scene. Bean was crossing the street to get to the theater where his wife of 27 years, Alley Mills was performing.

The Los Angeles County Boys confirms that Bean was pronounced dead at the scene of this "traffic-related" tragedy.

Born Dallas Frederick Burrows, the entertainer was an American film, television, and stage actor, a comedian, writer and producer. He appeared frequently on televised game shows like "To Tell The Truth."

He was a favorite of "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson". He appeared on the show over 200 times.

He is known for playing Mr. Bevis in suspense show, "The Twilight Zone." In the episode, Bevis is met by a guardian angel who helps him get his life back together.

The actor was survived by his wife and four children. He was married three times. His first marriage to Jacqueline de Sibour (Rain Winslow) and had a daughter. He married Carolyn Maxwell soon after and had three children from her. His last marriage was to actress Alley Mills.

He was the father-in-law to the late far-white agitator Andrew Breitbart.

On Broadway, Bean was in the original cast of "Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?" in the 1950s, and received a Tony Award nomination in 1961 for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for "Subways Are for Sleeping."

His last movie part was in "The Equalizer 2" in 2018.

Alicia Keys Gave Us A Lyft!

Alicia Keys does Lyft on the side.
This girl is on fire......!

Entertainer Alicia Keys decided to play a prank on unsuspecting Lyft riders. The host of the 67th Grammy Awards got behind the wheel of her vehicle and drove around Los Angeles doing a taping for I'm guessing "Undercover Boss."

The singer surprised riders by playing songs off her albums, dropping hints of Grammy Awards and singing some of her songs with riders.

Wearing a red and black flannel shirt with a hat covering her hair and big sunglasses concealing her face, the "Girl On Fire" singer quoted her most famous song lyrics when speaking with her passengers. She told most of them that she had moved to Los Angeles from New York about a year ago.

Some didn't expect Alicia Keys to be at the wheel. They thought it was just an average Lyft driver.

The entertainer is releasing her newest album ALICIA. The album will be released in March.

Keys (born Alicia Augello-Dean) is a American musician, singer, composer and radio host. She is a classically-trained pianist. She started composing songs at the age of 12 and was signed to a major label at 15 years old. She released her first album on Arista/J Records called Songs in A Minor and became a breakout entertainer.

She is married to rap producer Swizz Beatz (born Kasseem Dean). She has two children from Swizz Beatz and is step mother to his three other children.

Dug In!

Debate night.
Who heads to the stage?

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)
Former South Bend mayor Pete Buttigieg
Billionaire investor Tom Steyer
Billionaire investor Andrew Yang
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)
Former vice president Joe Biden

There will be a Friday night debate on ABC. The Democratic Party of New Hampshire and ABC will host the debate post Iowa Caucus. The controversy surrounding the Iowa Caucus has been circulating around the junk food media.

Many of the agitators are talking about how the Democratic Party of Iowa failed to check on an app and it forced the possibility of an unlikely winner.

Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) have declared victory in the Iowa Caucus. However, there is no certified winner as of yet.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is the other candidate who came out ahead in this race. However, it's not the strongest showing for the Massachusetts senator.

Former vice president Joe Biden let Donald J. Trump, Republicans and the Democratic rivals pummel him. His disappointing results in the Iowa Caucus has Democratic operatives worried. Trump muddied up the waters and seriously damaged Biden. The far-white agitators have been obsessed with Biden and his son Hunter.

Trust me, the New Hampshire primary is make or break for Biden.

Who won tonight's debate?

Amy Klobuchar
Tom Steyer
Andrew Yang
Joe Biden
Elizabeth Warren
Pete Buttigieg
Bernie Sanders
The Candidates Who Aren't On Stage

Also this could end the careers of the remaining candidates running for the Democratic nomination.

Michael Bloomberg didn't qualify to be apart of the debate. But since he's rising in the polls, he's likely to make it to the next debate and it's already got Sanders and Warren upset. They feel that he's buying his way into the White House.

So far, Bloomberg has flooded the crucial states of Ohio, Florida, Michigan and Wisconsin. He is also flooding North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Texas and Kansas with commercials.

Bloomberg, Deval Patrick, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) are not going to be on stage.

This is make or break for the candidates. The New Hampshire Primary is next week and candidates need all the energy to succeed. If they fail at winning, it's time to wrap it up.

Donald J. Trump has a 65% chance of winning reelection.

Walmart Is Eliminating The 24-Hour Service!

The "Great American Comeback" folks.

About 1,000 Walmart stores in the United States and Canada have eliminated the 24-hour service. It comes at a time where you're working an evening shift and happened to get off at midnight. You want to go shopping at night to beat the lines during the day. Some folks work 12 hour shifts so it's nearly impossible for some to go to grocery stores during the afternoon or evening.

When you head to your local Walmart and found it closed at midnight or 1am. You, like, "I was just there only a week ago!" They tell you, "these are the new rules. You can visit the other store miles away."

The world's largest retailer said the company will start closing stores during the overnight hours in 2020. They started the gradual shutdowns in 2019 at least 100 stores. This will likely continue throughout the year and some areas will be affected.

Walmart claims that the change will assure associates are working when and where customers need them the most. They believe that customers shop between 9am to 9pm. So that means, folks are in bed.

But what about the folks who get off work at late hours?

Or the folks who like to shop when the lines aren't long and the customer with a dispute ain't holding the line up arguing over a price?

Where will they go?

Stores in the Dayton area include: Englewood, Moraine/Kettering, Dayton (Miami Township) and Dayton (Butler Township).

Stores in the Cincinnati area include: Milford, Cincinnati (Delhi Township), Cincinnati (Colerain Township), Forest Park, Evendale, Hamilton/Fairfield, Hamilton, Middletown, Oxford, Lebanon and Fort Wright, Kentucky.

It could be an unofficial layoff of employees. Great timing for the jobs report that comes out today.

Walmart, Kroger and other businesses are cutting back late hours due to low traffic and changing demographics.

Some believe the abrupt closing of Walmart and Kroger locations in minority areas is akin towards segregation and racism.

Many trolls believe that theft is the reasons why companies go out of business. Many trolls believe that folks who steal or use food stamps are driving prices of food and necessities up. Many trolls believe that raising the minimum wage is going to hurt corporations and small businesses.

Of course, the trolls don't work at Walmart or Kroger. They shop there and offer constant grievances towards employees, security and other shoppers because they perceive them as below their standards of human beings.

Walmart is quietly saying that online shopping and Amazon is hurting them as well. You remember that Walmart had a big bloodshed of their Superstores, Sam's Clubs and Walmart Neighborhood Store locations.

Once a Walmart leaves an area, you'll see a lot of businesses close around it. The locations are soon replaced with charter schools, UHauls, flea markets and often become a graffiti paradise.

Candy Hearts!

Trump brags that he was acquitted of high crimes and misdemeanors.
In a country of 335.4 million people, the United States seems to be chugging along with job growth.

Mind you that the amount of jobs that were added are spread across the 50 states, District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories. The country hasn't really seen much change in the job growth.

This mild January has helped the U.S. gain some necessary jobs. The nonfarm payrolls rising for the month were 225,000. That means the unemployment rate rose to 3.6%.

Here were the main metrics from the Department of Labor’s January jobs report, compared to consensus expectations compiled by Bloomberg:

Change in nonfarm payrolls: +225,000 vs. +165,000 expected and +147,000 in December

Unemployment rate: 3.6% vs. 3.5% expected and 3.5% in December

Average hourly earnings month on month: +0.2% vs. +0.3% expected and +0.1% in December

Average hourly earnings year on year: +3.1% vs. +3.0% expected and +3.0% in December

The January jobs report also included upward revisions to each of November’s and December’s non-farm payrolls figures. November’s payrolls were upwardly revised by 5,000 to 261,000, while December’s were upwardly revised by 2,000 to 147,000. These changes raised the three-month average for job gains to 211,000.

Beneath the headline results, the labor force participation rate rose to 63.4%, or the highest level since 2013, from 63.2% in December. A higher labor force participation rate indicates a greater proportion of the working-age population is working or actively seeking employment.

Meanwhile, the broad U-6 measure of unemployment, which includes workers no longer seeking jobs and part-time workers who would rather have full-time work, rose slightly to 6.9%, from the 6.7% rate from December.

In keeping with recent trends, most of January’s payroll gains came from the private service-providing sector, with education and health services leading advances with 72,000 new payrolls in January. This was more than triple the 22,000 gains in those industries from December, and 29% higher than gains in these industries from January last year.

Retail trade, however, was a weaker spot in the services sector in the January jobs report, reflecting some payback after surging December hiring in these industries around the holidays. Retail trade lost 8,300 payrolls in January.

Within the goods-producing sector, manufacturing industries lost more jobs than expected, shedding 12,000 in January versus the 12,000 anticipated. December’s manufacturing job losses, however, were revised and to just 5,000, from the 12,000 previously reported.

Wage growth, which had slowed in December, picked back up in January, rising by 0.2% over December. Year on year, average hourly earnings rose 3.1%, beating expectations and accelerating relative to December’s pace of wage growth, but coming in below last year’s peak of 3.5%.

Ahead of the January jobs report, a number of other employment indicators presaged ongoing momentum in the labor market.

Weekly new unemployment claims declined in January after rising in December. For the week of the January payrolls survey, or the week of the 12th, claims were lower by 12,000 relative to December.
The Democrats had enough.
Meanwhile, the employment component of the Institute of Supply Management’s manufacturing purchasing managers’ index climbed in January. The non-manufacturing PMI, while lower in January relative to December, held above the neutral level of 50 to indicate expansion.

And on Wednesday, ADP/Moody’s monthly report showed private payrolls climbed by the most since May 2015 in January, driven by employment gains in the services sector. Private sector payrolls rose by 291,000 in January, or well above the 199,000 from December, according to the ADP/Moody’s report.

Things that make you go hmmm....!

1. Donald J. Trump becomes the third U.S. President to be impeached while in office. He escapes being removed from office by the U.S. Senate. The Senate rejects witnesses and evidence. They quickly acquitted Trump. The trial offered extensive evidence. Republicans weren't convinced by the evidence and voted to acquit him. This acquittal assures Trump will ask for help from foreign entities yet again.

2. The Democrats have no clear frontrunner in the race to replace Trump. The Iowa Caucus is a hot mess and many of the Democrats are really angry over the process and are calling for Tom Perez to do something or get out the way.

3. The U.S. is on the verge of a war with Iran. The Iranian government has vowed to hit the U.S. and Israel for the killing of their general Qasem Soleimani. They are plotting cyber attacks and want the U.N. to broker deals regarding talks about peace.

4. Brick and mortar stores are shuttering in suburbia. JCPenney, Macy's, Pier 1 Imports, Forever 21, Hallmark, Kmart, Sears, Walgreens, Walmart, Kroger are closing stores in 2020.

5. No one is seeing the results of the Job and Tax Cuts Act passed in 2017. The tax cuts are not showing massive success. So far, no change in the wage gap between the middle class and wealthy.

6. Folks are working one or more jobs to stay afloat. Conservatives are claiming that folks who are on the safety net are worthless and lazy. They don't realize that many Americans are working more than 40 hours and are often staying longer hours or working a second job to pay rent, mortgage or vehicle expenses. Insurance rates are up due to Trump rolling back regulations, eliminating the insurance mandate of the Affordable Care Act, and private insurance companies aren't paying for natural disasters and human based disasters.

7. Trump and his administration did subliminal cuts to food stamps, housing credits and disaster relief. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration in their attempts to cut the safety net from immigrants who have American born children and working class families who are struggling to find food in area affected by food deserts, blight and natural disasters.

Nonetheless, Republicans will conclude that Trump's economy is great. Democrats will conclude that Trump's economy sucks. None of them will offer much other than the same old tired talking points about tax cuts, raising taxes on the rich and fixing roads and bridges. The same old shit but from a different face.

No one can wait forever for changes. Congress is made up of old, white and well off politicians.

Any person of color who is a member of the House or Senate are vilified or ridiculed because the white establishment continues to deny a place for everyone at the table.

Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are old white millionaires.

They make up the status quo of politics. They will not work together and solve problems. Yeah, I hate Trump and all that he stands for. But damn it, we need to focus on getting at least things done. Pelosi and Schumer are pretty much done with Trump, McConnell and McCarthy.

He's impeached. That title will stay with him for the rest of his god awful legacy.

Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar and Michael Bloomberg are going to be beaten by Trump. They have no clear frontrunner and no candidate is presenting a viable message or alternative to the status quo. They are quickly caving to manufactured controversies inspired by talk radio, Fox News and the social media.

The possibility of Trump being reelected has cruised to 65% right now.

Those die-hard Trump supporters will say that his leadership is successful. All the while, they find that their average wages are stalling. Many of these Trump supporters probably lost their jobs. Some are probably losing their homes due to flooding, wildfires and foreclosure.

Food prices, energy prices, rent, city services and college education have risen.

Let me remind you, that Trump and Republicans believe rolling back regulations and austerity are the key factors to a strong economy and job market. The Republicans are not in control of the House of Representatives. The Democrats now control the House and will push for an agenda that Trump will likely oppose. Republicans in the Senate will continue to pass ridiculous laws that hurt the working class and middle class. They are already streamlining federal judges that could rollback years of progress.

The inept Senate leadership of Mitch McConnell is slowly getting covered. He is leading our country into the abyss. The Senate is delaying legislation on sensible gun reform. McConnell and many Republicans are fearful of the NRA and white gun owners. They clearly are ignoring the rest of America being fed up with these constant mass shootings.

Trump and Republicans believe that trickle down economics (i.e. free market capitalism) is helping Americans. Really, it's making people work harder and we're not seeing the benefits of it. So far private equity firms are buying corporations and piling on debt. These corporations can't sustain the debt and are forced to declare bankruptcy and eventually liquidation. Many of our nation's largest companies and start-ups have equity firms investing in them. When the firms want their money, they're going to get their money.

With Republicans trying to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, many of Trump's die hard supporters are going to get a culture shock when they find out their health coverage from their employer is terminated it because they are no longer forced to provide it. Or they'll keep hours lower to keep people from obtaining health insurance.

The Jobs and Tax Cut Act has added trillions of dollars of debt to the economy. The results of the tax cuts haven't produced the stability. It's still considered a very unpopular law.

Trump is destroying the economy, causing uncertainty in world and is bring chaos wherever he lands.

I won't say anything positive about him. Regardless of what happens, this is short-term success.

Don't believe the hype.
