Two Dimes For Lo-letha Hall's Killer!

Shit got real when the judge said 20 to LIFE.

William Brock is likely going to die while in the iron college. He is 83 years old. If he does get an appeal or a reduced sentence, it will still be a long time before he gets out.

Midway Wrap Up in May.

The sentencing was delayed after his lawyer got ill.

In 2024, Brock shot Lo-letha Hall's after he was duped by a scammer. She went to pick up a package and Brock pulled out his revolver and held her at gunpoint.

Instead of calling 9-1-1, not answering the door, hanging up the phone on the scammer, he decided to take actions into his own hands. He held her at gunpoint, tried to steal her phone and when she tried to flee, he shot her in the leg. After a confrontation, she shoved him. He ends up getting back up and shooting her multiple times and then calls 9-1-1.

The incident happened in South Charleston, Ohio, a village outside of Springfield.

The Clark County prosecutor saw through Brock's story. The prosecutor saw Brock as a reckless individual who felt that he could get away with murder if he claims self-defense and a real fear of his life.

It was unnecessary use of force and flat out kidnapping.

Basically murder.

And there is no amount of fear in Brock to justified his actions.

Why couldn't you let my mom leave? You took it upon yourself to kill an innocent person.

Me and LaReyna covered this for nearly two years. This finally brings justice to that beautiful woman who didn't deserve this death.

I cannot sympathize with Brock. His lawyers tried to appeal to the U.S. Department of Justice and Attorney General Pam Bondi to push Ohio governor Mike DeWine to intervene. Brock was hoping for a commuted sentence or a pardon.

According to Clark County Common Pleas Court records, Brock was sentenced to 21 years to life in prison for the fatal shooting of Hall.

In January, Brock was found guilty by a jury on all counts, including murder, felonious assault and kidnapping. One week after the conviction, Brock's attorney filed a motion for an acquittal and a new trial.

In court last month, Brock said he was scared for his life when he pulled a gun on Hall.

"After the first shot, she backed up a little more, and (I) don't know what triggered it, but I shot at her shoulder," he said. "Then, we got closure to the vehicle. There was a little scuffle over the door. She got a hold of the door, slammed it into my head and that's what injured me."

He testified that he doesn't remember what happened for a few seconds after that incident.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, an initial investigation reveals that a scam caller contacted Brock concerning an incarcerated relative. The caller allegedly informed him that his nephew was incarcerated and a significant amount of money was needed to post bail. The call turned to threats and a demand for money.

A following investigation confirmed that Brock received scam calls to his house and that the same caller contacted an Uber driver through the app to pick up a package at Brock’s house.

The sheriff’s office said Hall was not aware that Brock had been called and threatened. When she arrived to pick up a package, she made contact with him.

Lo-letha, we got justice.

Hall reportedly suffered from medical conditions and was unarmed. Deputies say she made no threats or assaults toward Brock and no demands other than to ask for the package that she was sent to pick up.

According to the sheriff’s office, Brock held Hall at gunpoint, making demands for the identity of the person he spoke to on the phone. He allegedly took her cellphone to prevent calls and refused to let her leave.

Hall attempted to re-enter her vehicle to leave and was reportedly shot by Brock in the process. Brock was injured in a subsequent fight at the door of Hall’s vehicle. Brock shot Hall two more times, according to the sheriff’s office.

He then called 911 for help. The sheriff’s office says when he called 911, he told the operator that he shot someone on his property who was attempting a robbery.

Deputies and medics found Hall on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. She was flown to a hospital in Dayton, where she later died from her injuries during surgery.

One year after Hall's death, her estate filed a wrongful death lawsuit. The lawsuit demanded more than $25,000 in damages for the harm caused by Brock and five John Does who were involved in Hall’s death.

Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-semitic or in support of terrorism. You want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists.
