Former Biden press secretary goes after him and declares independence. |
When I say I am going independent. I mean it.
I will not endorse or support any candidate that goes against Black interests.
If any candidate attacks women's rights, supports Israel, border walls, stripping the safety net, punishing protesters, attacking the LGBTQ community and continues to promote endless platitudes, they ain't getting my vote.
Jean-Pierre served as the second press secretary under former president Joe Biden.
Previously, she served as the deputy press secretary to her predecessor Jen Psaki from 2021 to 2022 and as the chief of staff for U.S. Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris during the 2020 presidential campaign.
Prior to her work with Harris during the 2020 election and with the Biden–Harris administration, Jean-Pierre was the senior advisor and national spokeswoman for the progressive advocacy group MoveOn.org. She was also previously a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC and a lecturer in international and public affairs at Columbia University.
She was married to former CNN correspondent Suzanne Malveaux. She has one adopted daughter.
Her sudden departure from the Democratic Party also marred with the frustration she faced as the voice of Biden.
She continuously denied the genocide that Israel has committed on the Gaza Strip.
She has supported the Biden Administration's attempts to block any attempts to place sanctions, punish, criminalize and abolish Israel.
Like most Democrats, they were disappointed that Harris lost. But because to this day, Jean-Pierre still spits the same talking points like Biden and Harris when it comes to Israel. Even Harris came out in support of the release of that American man who served in the IDF being captured by the resistance group Hamas.
Jean-Pierre revealed that she is the author of a book — Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines — set to be released this October.
“Until January 20, I was responsible for speaking on behalf of the President of the United States,” said Jean-Pierre in a statement. “At noon on that day, I became a private citizen who, like all Americans and many of our allies around the world, had to contend with what was to come next for our country. I determined that the danger we face as a country requires freeing ourselves of boxes. We need to be willing to exercise the ability to think creatively and plan strategically.”
Do not buy the book. Do not support enablers of genocide.
She had an opportunity to tell Biden to stop giving aid to Israel. Apparently the former president who has Stage IV cancer was unwilling to stop it because of his Catholic beliefs of the Holy Land. He openly admitted when he was then vice president under Barack Obama he was a Zionist.
So this is my conclusion.
Israel had influnce on picking the running mates of presidential candidates.
- Dan Quayle, former vice president and Indiana congressman.
- Al Gore, former vice president and U.S. senator from Tennessee.
- Dick Cheney, former vice president, former White House advisor and Wyoming congressman.
- Joe Biden, former president, former vice president and former U.S. senator from Delaware.
- Mike Pence, former vice president, former Indiana governor, former Indiana congressman and talk show host.
- Kamala Harris, former vice president, former U.S. senator from California and former California attorney General.
- JD Vance, current vice president, former Ohio senator, media personality and writer.
All the vice presidents were staunch supporters of Israel.
The losing candidates running mates were also pro Israel. Those still living are noted in the list.
- John Edwards, former U.S. senator from North Carolina.
- Sarah Palin, former Alaska governor.
- Paul Ryan, former Wisconsin congressman and House Speaker.
- Tim Kaine, current U.S. Senator from Virginia.
- Tim Walz, current Minnesota governor.
Jean-Pierre’s book announcement comes amid revelations out of Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s Original Sin, in which former Biden officials opened up about their concerns over the former president’s decline and the lengths they went to cover for the president.
Do not buy Tapper and Thompson's book. Tapper supports Israel and has called protesters antisemitic. He openly cheered for immigrants to be deported for antisemitism. He has hosted Israeli operatives like Jonathan Greenblatt of the ADL to spew vicious remarks about peaceful protesters who want to hold our lawmakers accountable for enabling Israel.
Tapper also betrayed Biden. He was always granted access to the former president and this only adds fuel to the fire about Biden's cognitive decline.
Note: President Donald J. Trump also is facing the same talking points about cognitive decline.
Jean-Pierre frequently defended Biden against questions about his age, mental acuity, and fitness to serve as president. Jean-Pierre responded to concerns about Biden's age by saying that "80 is the new 40", described videos seemingly showing Biden making gaffes as "cheap fakes", and dismissed reporting about Biden's age being a challenge for his reelection campaign as "fallacious".
After Biden performed poorly in a June 2024 presidential debate, journalists from the White House press corps sharply criticized Jean-Pierre's credibility in addressing concerns about Biden's health. Reporters described Jean-Pierre as lacking transparency and being evasive on the issue, and negatively compared her skill in handling such questions with her predecessor, Jen Psaki. Jean-Pierre acknowledged making mistakes in handling questions about Biden's health.
Current White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is defending a senile bigot and is being put to task on Trump's incoherent rants and policies.
