Aftab Pureval Faces VP's Half Brother In Cincy Mayor Race!

One more road to cross.

Ohio primary off year brings low turnout. We need to change the narrative to encourage more participation in the electoral process.

If we continue to ignore the polls, Republicans can use this as a way to advance voter restrictions, purging of voters and false claims of election fraud. This is how the Republicans play.

And again, y'all voted for this.

Democratic mayor of Cincinnati and his Republican challenger advances. However, the Republican didn't succeed where he wanted to.

Vice President JD Vance's half-brother Cory Bowman only managed to pull in 12% of the vote while Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval maintained a healthy 83% of the vote. Another Republican who ran as an independent Brian Patrick Frank only pulled in 5%.

The city of Cincinnati and state capital Columbus are the only communities in Ohio that are growing.

Cincinnati at its peak had nearly 500,000 in 1950. Now it sits at 314,000. It is an improvement from it's lowest decline of 284,000 in 2010.

The Natty has been seeing gentification and a movement around the Central Business District. The movement to impove the neighborhoods has Aftab's job approval above 50%.

Cincinnati also has done traffic calming measures in neighborhoods where accidents are common.

It added new bicycle lanes and improving infrastructure. They are working to extend the Cincinnati Connector and make a commuter rail service for the east.

Eventually, the possibility of extending Interstate 74 from it's current terminus. But that may take decades if not a porker Republican sticking something.

The groundbreaking for the new Brent Spence Bridge which carries Interstate 75 and Interstate 71 will be this year.

Cincinnati is working on making improvements for Interstate 75 and Interstate 275. The beltway on the east of Interstate 71 has SmartLane travel service that eases congestion around Indian Hill, Montgomery and Sharonville.

The Republicans are going to make the Ryan Hinton and Rodney Hinton, Jr. controversy an issue.

Vice President JD Vance and President Donald J. Trump will eventually come into the Cincinnati mayoral race. Cory Bowman (right) is Vance's half brother.

This month, the Cincinnati Police shot and killed Ryan after an investigation into a stolen Kia vehicle and a pursuit into a neighborhood. The body camera footage shows Hinton jumping out of a dumpster.

Once he jumped out of dumpster, an officer yelled gun and the other officer proceeded in firing on Hinton striking him twice. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Rodney was his father. He saw the body camera footage and snapped. Upon leaving the lawyer's office and the Hamilton County Prosecutor's office, the man came upon Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy Larry Henderson conducting traffic near the University of Cincinnati.

Hinton, Jr. accelerated his vehicle and deliberately hit Henderson pinning him to a tree.

Henderson suffered fatal injuries. Hinton has minor injuries. After the police arrived, the saw Hinton in a cold daze. They arrested him and charged him with aggravated murder. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Aftab offered condolences to Henderson and the family of Ryan Hinton. The Cincinnati Police Chief and Hamilton County Sheriff both offered condolences to the deputy and the suspect shot by police.
