Trump And ABC News Settles!

Mr. White Privilege wins his defamation lawsuit against ABC News.

Winners and losers of 2024.

A federal court awarded E. Jean Caroll nearly $150 million in punitive damages for a sexual assault by President-elect Donald J. Trump. He is trying to appeal the decision.

Trump is the second president since Grover Cleveland to return to power.

Trump has ran for president four times. In 2000 as a Reform Party candidate, 2016 as a Republican candidate, 2020 as an incumbent president and 2024 as a Republican candidate and former president.

He finally won the popular vote. He beat Vice President Kamala Harris by 0.5% in the popular vote.  He never won the popular vote in 2016 and 2020.

Trump is the least Christian or even Jewish president.

Trump is an adulterer, sexual predator, habitual liar, an insurrectionist, a convicted felon and a senile man in cognitive decline.

He will be the 47th President of the United States and J.D. Vance will be the 50th Vice President of the United States. They will enter the White House with low job approval.

George Stephanopoulos is the ABC News Chief Political Correspondent. He is a co- Good Morning America and This Week. He and Martha Raddatz host the ABC Sunday news program which interviews politicians and entertainers.

Crisis Mace. The South Carolina lawmaker doesn't like the AI meme.

One in particular was the insufferable Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC). The crisis actress herself boycotted ABC News after Stephanopoulos grilled her on her support of Trump.

Mace, a constant crisis actress was actually a victim of sexual assault.

Stephanopoulos grilled her about backing a man who was found liable for rape.

Stephanopoulos repeated that claim ten times during his spat with Mace, despite the fact that a jury actually determined Trump was liable for "sexual abuse," which has a distinct definition under New York law.

After the federal jury found Trump liable for sexual abuse, but not rape, Judge Lewis Kaplan wrote in a later ruling that just because Carroll failed to prove rape "within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape.’"

Trump took issue with the word rape and sued ABC News and Stephanopoulos for defamation. Well it was settled and ABC News agreed to paying Trump.

Of course, his punitive damages will be offset to Carroll or the state of New York.

He owes the New York Attorney General over $478 million in his fraud trial.

Fox which also owes Dominion nearly $800 million for defamation and is still facing a lawsuit from Smartmatic reported it giddily.

The settlement was publicly filed on Saturday, revealing that the two parties have come to an agreement and avoided a costly trial. According to the settlement, ABC News will pay $15 million as a charitable contribution to a "Presidential foundation and museum to be established by or for Plaintiff, as Presidents of the United States of America have established in the past." Additionally, the network will pay $1 million in Trump's attorney fees.

Stephanopoulos and ABC News also had to issue statements of "regret" as an editor's note at the bottom of a March 10, 2024, online article, about comments made earlier this year that prompted Trump to file the defamation lawsuit. The note reads, "ABC News and George Stephanopoulos regret statements regarding President Donald J. Trump made during an interview by George Stephanopoulos with Rep. Nancy Mace on ABC’s This Week on March 10, 2024."
