Yet, he is the one who was bound to start a civil war within the United States. He is a total idiot. His supporters tried to overthrow democracy on Jan. 6, 2021. He did not do anything for three hours. He put his vice president in danger. His supporters made nearly $1 billion in damages.
He was forced to do a video to call for his supporters to stop rioting at the U.S. Capitol even though he didn't want to. He spent a majority of his pathetic post presidency blaming everyone for his loss. On top of that, he refused to allow the peaceful transfer of power to his successor, Joe Biden.
Washed Up 45 made a bold statement when he was in Davenport, Iowa. His visit to the Quad Cities was his first as a presidential candidate for the umpteenth time. As a former president, he has a record..... a broken record. He would say the election was stolen, criticize "woke", everything was great before COVID, blame China or President Joe Biden for COVID, say Hillary Clinton should be locked up, say the FBI is part of the "deep state", the prosecutors in New York, Georgia and federal government are racist and his potential rivals ridiculous nicknames. He would rehash the "We will make America great again" and state he alone can do things previous presidents failed to do.
Russia's war with Ukraine is not popular among Republicans. They believe the U.S. and NATO should end all military funding to the embattled Ukraine. Even Washed Up 45 would be willing to allow Russia take control of regions they illegally seized in the one year war.
Washed Up 45 said on Monday that there had never been "a more dangerous time" for the world, after arguing that Biden had "driven Russia right into the arms of China." He promised to prevent a new global war, drawing cheers from his enthusiastic followers.
"Standing before you today, I am the only candidate who can make this promise: I will prevent World War III," the former president said, sparking extended applause from the crowd. "Because I really believe you're going to have World War III."
"With this administration, we could end up in World War III, because they don't speak right," said Washed Up 45. "They act tough when they should act nice, they act nice when they should act tough. Honestly, they don't know what the hell they're doing. We're going to end up in a world war over this stuff."
"It will be a nuclear war," he continued. "So, this is not like a second world war, where we have army tanks and rifles and we go after each other. This is a level that will possibly end the world. And we have people that don't know what they're doing."
His first impeachment was due to his refusal to grant military aid to Ukraine. He wanted Volodymyr Zelenskyy to issue a statement declaring Biden and his son Hunter were under criminal investigation. It was based on misinformation from Fox, Rudy Giuliani, John Solomon and Sara Carter.
Washed Up 45 also told the crowd that his victory in 2024 would lead to an abrupt ending of the Russia-Ukraine war, which has stretched on for more than a year with no signs that a peace deal is likely to be negotiated.
The former president has previously boasted that a talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin is all it would take for him to quickly end the war.
"Shortly after I win the presidency, I will have the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine settled," he said on Monday. "It will take 24 hours, if it's not done before then."
Trump and his campaign have recently been ramping up apocalyptic rhetoric, repeatedly telling supporters that he is leading a "final battle" to "save our country."
A Trump campaign email last week urged supporters to donate to a "final battle fund," warning that the country was under attack by "the deep state" and would be irreparably "lost" if the election was won by "the Left" instead.
