Trump renigs on the DACA deal after conservative outrage. |
The DACA agreement also includes no funding for the Great American Border Wall. The deal will give Dreamers an opportunity to rebound and give Trump needed border security but no funding for the Great Border Wall of America.
"The wall will come later."
This outraged conservatives.
The working with "sworn enemies" Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is infuriating many of Trump's ardent supporters.
Most conservatives are riled up over Trump ignoring Republican proposals.
When it comes to promises made by Trump, he is held to the same standard as his predecessors.
This time it's more volatile.
Some of Trump's allies are turning on him.
Reagan led with Amnesty, 1986. Bush43 led with Amnesty '06, Obama led with Amnesty '13. All failed so...Trump leads with DACA Amnesty 2017.— Steve King (@SteveKingIA) September 14, 2017
Tune in to @FoxBusiness at 9:15AM CT. I'll talk to @Varneyco re: @POTUS' dinner w/ Pelosi & Schumer on DACA & weigh in on the #borderwall.— Louie Gohmert (@replouiegohmert) September 14, 2017
Politicians are supposed to keep their word. R's failed on Healthcare, broke their word They have failed! @POTUS needs to keep his promises https://t.co/NldKWcFrRB— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) September 14, 2017

And if @POTUS doesn't keep that promise, and goes for amnesty, it will be the political equivalent or "read my lips, no new taxes" https://t.co/WxBSHYMxv6— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) September 14, 2017
If reports true 100%. I blame R's. They caused this. They wanted him to fail and now pushed him into arms of political suicide--IF TRUE. https://t.co/WTqe6jzfa9— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) September 14, 2017

I think "doing the jobs Americans wont do" is the only open borders bromide we havent heard from Trump this week.— Daniel Horowitz (@RMConservative) September 14, 2017

If we're not getting a wall, I'd prefer President Pence. https://t.co/g1mMhmm8ng— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) September 14, 2017
Looks like Bannon got it wrong. That shadowy force trying to nullify the 2016 election ... is @realDonaldTrump.— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) September 14, 2017
Trump tries to walk back the deal.
No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 14, 2017
The WALL, which is already under construction in the form of new renovation of old and existing fences and walls, will continue to be built.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 14, 2017
Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!.....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 14, 2017
...They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own - brought in by parents at young age. Plus BIG border security— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 14, 2017
The base is livid over this decision to work on immigration reform. It has turned Trump inside out. He is concerned that he may have damaged his brand.
It's pretty unfortunate.
Trump's first attempt to work with the Democrats and still nothing gets done. Republicans oppose almost everything that he does.
What Barack Obama was facing Trump now faces.
