Arianna Huffington is a Greek-American socialite, blogger, and business woman. She along with the late Andrew Breitbart, Kenneth Lerer and Jonah Peretti founded the news agitation blog The Huffington Post. She created the blog in 2005 and to this day it's by far one of the most successful blogs in America. It is one of the most popular progressive blogs. It competes with the conservative news agitation website The Drudge Report.
The Huffington Post is part by AOL Media. It's a subsidiary of Verizon Media Group.
Reports that Huffington is to step down as CEO of the Huffington Post are buzzing around the social media. She announced that she will start Thrive Global and focus on health and wellness.
Huffington denies internal conflict was a reason for her departure.
Huffington was born Ariadne-Anna Stasinopoulou. She had once being married to former lawmaker by the name of Michael Huffington, a staunch Republican who would come out as bisexual.
Huffington was a big time conservative during the 1990s. She even was tempted to run for governor of California after Gray Davis faced a recall. She would throw her support to actor Arnold Schwarzenegger who successfully became the governor of the state.
During the George W. Bush administration, the media mogul decided to switch it up. She has become a fierce critics of Republicans and recent stalwart Donald Trump.
She wrote her letter of resignation today.

Huffington said that she's been thinking about transitioning for a long time. She denies that Verizon pushed her out. Verizon is reportedly buying Yahoo! and the creative direction. A source suggested to Recode that shifting power dynamics as a result of the dealt prompted the departure.
Did you know that Arianna Huffington played a role on The Cleveland Show. She played Arianna the Bear, the wife of Tim the Bear, one of Cleveland's friends. Seth MacFarlane and Mike Henry created a spin-off to Family Guy that focused on Cleveland Brown, the long striving Black friend of Peter Griffin.
