Bernie Sanders Wants To Battle Again!

We're in this to win.
The second go around for the Vermont senator.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is going to join the race. This would be his second time entering the race.

The 77-year old Vermont senator lost to Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic nomination. This time around, I believe Sanders will face a competitive field.

With that being said, he's the fourth Senator to announce a bid to run for president. The other lawmakers in this race include, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI).

Rep. John Delaney (D-MD), Gov. Jay Inslee of Washington, Julian Castro and Pete Buttigieg are also in this race as well.

Bernard Sanders is an American politician serving as the junior U.S. Senator of Vermont. He is an independent who caucuses with the Democrats. He and Sen. Angus King (I-ME) are the two only members of the Senate who are independents.

A Brooklyn born son, Bernie Sanders was active in the civil rights movement. He was an active protester of the Congress of Racial Equality and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.

He was elected as the mayor of Burlington, the state's largest city. He served as a U.S. Representative in 1991 until 2007. He won the U.S. Senate election when Jim Jeffords, the former Republican, turned independent retired in 2006 and Sanders has been the senator ever since.

Sanders is a self-described democratic socialist, progressive and labor rights activist.

He believes that the United States continues to lead in economic inequality. He wants to advocate universal and single payer healthcare, paid parental leave, tuition free tertiary education and a reduction in military spending and wars.

Sanders is about to make his announcement "imminently."

Senior advisor Josh Orton shot back rumors by saying that it's no decision imminent.

Sanders will be a top-tier candidate this time around. He is no longer the underdog in this race. He already has name recognition.

He could do better with Black and Hispanic voters.

Being popular does come with a price. The right will find ways to take that popularity down. Trust me, it did no good for Barack Obama.

Sanders is looking to launch a presidential exploratory committee.

Sanders has move the Democratic Party to its progressive side. The party managed to win the House of Representatives. It helped raise the profiles of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Sharice Davids (D-KS), Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rep. Rashida Tliab (D-MI) and Ro Khanna (D-CA).

Terrorists Tried To Massacre Town Of Islamberg, New York!

White terrorist plot foiled.
Four men were motivated by hate.

Pam Geller, Steve Emerson, Sara Carter, Bridgett Gabriel and Robert Spencer are creating a new breed of white extremists. Their reckless remarks have caused a problems towards Muslims and people of color.

Four men were busted by the feds after they attempted to massacre a village located in the lower tier of New York.

Three men and a juvenile were inspired by the rhetoric of the far-white.

They were armed to the teeth when it came to firearms. They were planning on taking out as many Muslim citizens.

The juvenile was talking smack around his classmates. The classmates tipped off the Greece Village Police Department.
Rural hamlet of Islamberg is home to a majority Black Muslim population.
The feds determined that the four were inspired by anti-Islamic agitators who kept pushing the "radical Islam" narrative.

Three of the suspects were in the Boy Scouts together and two were Eagle Scouts. In a statement released Wednesday morning, Stephen Hoitt, Scout executive/CEO of Seneca Waterways Council, Boy Scouts of America said, “We were shocked and disturbed to learn about the allegations against these individuals. Upon learning of these reports we took immediate action to prohibit these individuals from any future participation in the Boy Scouts of America.”

Speaking earlier in the day, Cuomo said he is directing New York State Police to increase its patrolling in the Islamberg area and to assist in the investigation.

"This foiled terror attack is repugnant to everything we stand for in New York," he said in a statement. "While there are those in Washington who continue to fan the flames of division and Islamophobia, such hate has no home in our state. In New York, we stand with the Muslim community and we will hold those behind this thwarted plot responsible to the full extent of the law."

Government Shutdown Ends For Now!

Trump concedes. He signs legislation to reopen the government in the short term.
So we're going to open up the government. Congress has reached a temporary deal to keep the government open until February 15. During that time, Congress must hash out a deal that continues funding the government for the rest of the year plus add the incentive to give Donald J. Trump his goddamn border wall.

This afternoon the imbecile conceded that the government shutdown was a dumb idea.

He spoke from the Rose Garden on Friday to offer his take on the government shutdown.



This was a 35-day government shutdown, the longest in American history. About 1 million or more government workers were affected by this.

Trump told the nation that a plan has been reached to reopen the government. He said that a bipartisan group of lawmakers will talk about the wall --- a request that offsets $5.7 billion.

Trump had said on the campaign trail that Mexico will pay for the wall. So far, it seems like it's going to come out of Americans pockets.

Democrats are cautiously optimistic that Trump will abandon the wall seeing that this won't poll well.

Trump and Republicans take the blunt of responsibility for the government shutdown.

The right hasn't been so kind to Trump. They pretty much trashed on Trump for "caving in" to Democrats and the hunk food media.




Trump slams his critics and say that he didn't cave to the Democrats.


Anyway, Trump warned Congress that he will shutdown the government again if he doesn't get the border wall. 

"Let me be very clear. We really have no choice but to build a powerful wall or steel barrier."

The imbecile hasn't ruled out throwing down an emergency order to advocate funds to the border wall.

Democrats have insisted throughout the shutdown that the Trump should sign a measure to reopen the government before they proceed to a debate on border wall funding. After weeks of resistance, Trump agreed to just that on Friday, paving the way for congressional Democrats and Republicans to approve a stop-gap funding bill.

The action on Capitol Hill comes after weeks of negotiations largely going nowhere. And it is not yet clear what kind of a deal can be struck between Democrats and Republicans in the weeks to come over border security.

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer suggested at a news conference on Friday that the Trump's decision to accept a stop-gap funding measure amounted to a validation of the position taken by Democrats during the shutdown fight.

"[Trump] has agreed to our request to open the government and then debate border security," Schumer said.

Schumer suggested he is optimistic that a resolution over border security can be reached once the government is reopened.

"We in Congress will roll up our sleeves and try to find some agreement on border security," Schumer said.

Democrats have maintained throughout the shutdown fight that they support border security measures, but not new funding for a border wall, a signature promise of Trump's campaign for the White House.

"We don't agree on some of the specifics of border security. Democrats are firmly against the wall," Schumer said on Friday.

"But we agree on many things such as the need for drug inspection technology, humanitarian aide, strengthening security at our ports of entry. And that bodes well for finding an eventual agreement," he added.

Roger Stone Served In Russian Probe!

The feds did a no knock on Roger Stone.
It seems like it's his time in the barrel.

The feds arrested longtime Donald J. Trump ally and far right agent provocateur Roger Stone.

Friday morning, the FBI raided on Stone's luxury apartment. They arrested Stone without a bullet fired. He is indicted on 24 charges which include lying to federal officials and withholding evidence.

It mostly falls upon his known contacts with Wikileaks and his acknowledgement of Julian Assange using Russian influence to meddle in the 2016 presidential election.

Stone has maintained innocence and blames his former allies for the mess.

Stone sought stolen emails in coordination with Trump and his campaign.

The federal court placed a $250,000 get out free card.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

For years, Stone was dubbed the Republican trickster who managed to sink political opponents and their careers.

The Robert Mueller investigation has gotten many former Trump allies in some deep shit. Trump has said this a "witch hunt."

And it seems like Stone was the biggest witch on broomstick.

Another white terrorist massacres five people. Do we need a border wall?
Thoughts and prayers, thoughts and prayers. Thoughts and prayers ain't going to help bring people back and it certainly won't heal the wounds. This is why I wish Andrew Gillum was the governor. His victory could have helped. Oh well, we're stuck with Ron DeSantis, a lazy former U.S. Representative who is now Florida's current governor.

Rick Scott, the former governor is now the U.S. Senator. The two conspired to restrict Blacks and Latinos from voting in Democratic leaning counties. They hurt the state with divisiveness. They were rewarded.

I've often said that we will expect more mass shootings in the year. Of course, would I lie to you?

White terrorist massacres five inside the Sun Trust Bank in Sebring, Florida. The Sebring police chief confirmed the fatalities at a Wednesday evening press conference.

“This has been a tragic day for our community. We’ve suffered a significant loss at the hands of a senseless criminal doing a senseless crime,” Sebring Police Chief Karl Hoglund said.

Sebring police officers and Highlands County deputies responded to the scene after the call came in and established a perimeter around the bank. Our news helicopter flying over the scene saw a massive law enforcement presence as police tried to negotiate with the man barricaded inside.

Police were unsuccessful at first but say the man eventually surrendered after the Highlands County SWAT team went into the bank and continued to negotiate.

The man walked into the bank and commits a senseless murder. The law apprehended the white terrorist without a bullet being fired.

The phony condolences and sympathy from politicians and social media won't bring back the lives of those lost in this senseless tragedy.

The suspect was identified by the Harris County boys and Sebring Police. The incident marks another black eye in Florida. A state with weak gun control laws and a bunch of incels who are at given notice ready to attack on the lives of others.

Donald J. Trump, Mike Pence, Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) and the Florida Representatives all express their condolences and sympathy. Phony sympathy.

With the government shutdown in effect, you're not going to see the ball rolling on gun control.

The Republicans and the National Rifle Association will say if we have more firearms in the bank, none of this would have happened.

The Law Caught The Rapist Responsible For Impregnating A Disabled Woman!

Caretaker raped a woman in vegetative state who gave birth.
With the recent incident of a Native American elder being verbally abused by a group of Kentucky Catholic boys, we haven't forgotten about the sexual assault of a Native American woman in a Phoenix care facility.

There was an arrest. A woman in a vegetative state gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The care facility contacted the police and told the law they weren't aware of the 29-year old woman being pregnant.

The Phoenix Police and Maricopa County boys announced that there was an arrest in the sexual assault of the victim.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of raping a quadriplegic woman. The suspect was taken into custody and now faces one charge of sexual assault and one count of vulnerable adult abuse.

DNA evidence determined he was the baby's father.

The suspect is a licensed practical nurse and directly responsible for caring for the victim at the Hacienda Healthcare Facility. The facility is on a Native American tribal land.

The San Carlos Apache Tribe confirmed that the victim is a part of the group. They took custody of the child and pledge full care for the child.

Police chief Jeri Williams was livid about the arrest of this man.

"From the minute we first became aware of the crime, we have virtually worked non stop seven days a week to resolve this case."

The care facility was shocked. The woman was only 112-pounds and no one knew she was pregnant.

The family said that the woman has severe brain damage, seizure disorder, and psycho-motor retardation. The victim could not speak. She only had only some ability to move her limbs, head and neck.

The family will likely sue the facility and the individual for this.

The state inspectors are planning on stripping the facility of his accreditation. The state investigators and Phoenix Police are looking to charge others for this.

Hacienda Healthcare's CEO William Timmons resigned in December after the care facility drafted new rules to protect patients. There will no longer be one caretaker in the facility. There will be two staffers in presence. There will be more checks on visitors.

Former workers blew the whistle. They said that Timmons was a heartless individual. A former worker at the facility said staff were told to not report problems. They said there was a climate of fear among colleagues.

Timmons would get the final sign off on every final report and recommendation as he was the direct supervisor and staff feared him.

The state regulators will likely remove developmentally disabled patients from the long-term care facility. This was years in the making.
The facility might be closed because of this.
Two doctors responsible for the care of the woman were fired out the cannon. The doctor overseeing the care of the woman (the one who missed the pregnancy) was placed in the freezer. Another doctor who cared for the victim resigned.

Thanh Nguyen was placed in the freezer. He was revealed as one of the doctors who failed to check the victim's health. Also Philip Gear was placed in the freezer (likely the one who resigned).

Gear was responsible for checking if the victim was experiencing signs of pregnancy or discomfort.

Two physicians resigned. One was placed in the freezer.

The care facility released a statement during the controversy.

"Once again, we offer an apology and send our deepest sympathy to the client and her family. Hacienda intends to do everything possible to restore its credibility in the eyes of our patients, family, the community and our agency partners at every level.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

BREAKING: SOTU Not Happening!

Trump won't hold the State of the Union. 
With a government shutdown and both sides not willing to negotiate a budget proposal, the federal workers will go without a paycheck for the second time.

Americans are growing really impatient with Donald J. Trump and Congress. The government shutdown is the longest in American history.

Today, Trump announced the State of the Union Address is cancelled. He blames Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for the cancellation. He claims that Pelosi is afraid of the truth.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders put forth Trump's statement.
Pelosi countered the request.
Pelosi said that she it's pretty stupid to have government workers not get paid to cover this event. There's going to be government workers that chaperone lawmakers, the President of the United States, the Vice President of the United States and Supreme Court Justices into the House of Representatives chamber. The chamber will be watched by the U.S. Capitol Police, the U.S. Secret Service, the Washington, DC Metro Police and Metro Transit Police and U.S. Marshals.

Of the latter, many are federal workers. They won't get paid for it.

Pelosi invited him on January 3rd to deliver the speech. Congress never passed a resolution to invite Trump to speak.

Trump insisted Wednesday that "there's no security concerns" and it would be "very sad for our country if the State of the Union weren't delivered on time."

Trump signaled he might do a rally instead. However, he would find it hard to get people to work for free to cover the expenses.

We're 33 days into the government shutdown and Americans are still not grasping to the impact of this dysfunction.

Trump made the situation worse. He called the Democratic Party a bunch of radicals.

When asked about why Pelosi won't grant him a platform, Trump complains.

"I'm not surprised. It's really a shame what's happening with the Democrats. They've become radicalized. They don't want to see crime stopped....And it really is a shame what's happening with the Democrats. This will go for a while. Ultimately the American people will have their way because they want to see no crime. We're all working very hard. We'll have to respond to it. We'll respond to it in a timely manner."

He insulted Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY). He called the Minority Leader a "puppet" to Pelosi.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) once again refused to take up a House bill passed by the Democrats to open up the government. This is the fourth bill that failed to bring the government shutdown to an end.

Pelosi said that the government should be opened before Trump makes his State of the Union Address.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) cries about how Pelosi ruined Trump's opportunity to speak to the world. "The judgement of history will not be kind (to Democrats)."

Trump and Republicans take the blunt of the responsibility for the government shutdown. This has dropped Trump job approval into the mid-30s and Congress into the lower 10s.

Trump could come to Congress on January 29th. It's up to lawmakers, namely Pelosi to make it possible for him to speak to the public. The House and Senate must pass a concurrent resolution giving him authority to address a Joint Session of Congress.

Pelosi stands firm. Trump has to end the government shutdown in order for her to obligate his request.

Blood Bank: Mass Shooting In Florida!

Another mass shooting in Florida.
Damn, I wish Andrew Gillum would have won. Gillum had a platform on how to deal with gun violence. The Democrat won the popular vote but lost to this racist who said that he'll support that imbecile's border wall.

And yes, that racist won.

The Highland County boys said multiple people were shot in a "hostage situation" in a Florida bank.

The city of Sebring is located in central Florida about 46 miles from Tampa and 55 miles from Orlando. The city police confirm that victims were inside the bank.

The injured aren't confirmed. It could be either the terrorist, customers or bank employees. They can't confirm if there were causalities

CNN and its affiliates report that there's a heavy police presence, ambulances and a SWAT vehicle in the vicinity. Medical personal entered the bank after the glass entrance was destroyed.

The incident happened at noon and they said that a terrorist entered the bank. The county boys and Sebring Police responded to the scene within five minutes.

Initial negotiations to try to get the barricaded subject to exit the bank were not successful, so SWAT entered the bank and continued negotiations. The suspect eventually surrendered to the law.

The main road near the bank is completely shut down. U.S. Highway 27 is closed and people are being diverted to areas. A school was placed on lockdown.

The community has about 15,000 residents.

Okay, time after time, we've said here on Journal De Reyna. I've said that we're becoming numb to gun violence. It's one too many times. An inept government won't solve these problems.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.

With a Democratic-controlled House of Representatives, a Republican-controlled U.S. Senate and Trump as the President of the United States, we're not going to get anything done.

We're in a middle of a government shutdown. I wouldn't be surprised that terrorist is a government worker who was pushed to the edge. He has no money to feed himself or his family.

While the Democrats and Republicans are whining about how to fund the government, millions of Americans are suffering.
