Another young talent is lost to gun violence.

Up-and-coming rapper Lil Yase was shot and killed early Saturday in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay area.

The rapper grew up in Sunnyvale, California. Before his tragic death, he was wishing folks a safe Thanksgiving weekend.

The rapper (born Mark A. Alexander) shocked fans and devastated his family. The rapper had no immediate enemies in the rap community.











Sources close to Yase claimed that he was with his team late Friday night at a recording studio in Marin County, north of San Francisco.

He allegedly left by himself around 11:30 pm or midnight saying he’d be right back.

But by 1:00 am on Saturday morning, news broke of Yase’s death by a shooting. The law said that his body had been discovered somewhere in the East Bay -- which is almost an hour away from where was last seen alive.

Yase was devoted to his label and his music. His label 420 Productions posted the news on their social media page. They offered a brief video snippet of him.

“We appreciate all the love and support,” the caption said. “Yase love his fans, he worked every day for y’all. We have hundreds of songs coming for you.”

Yase started his career when he was 18 but gain traction around the time he turned 20.

Will Donald J. Trump mention anything about gun violence?

No. He'll be too busy golfing and complaining about the election results.

No. Hopefully, Joe Biden will address gun violence once he gets into office.

Yes. I believe the president has addressed gun violence in the Black community.

Yes. I think the president supports the rights to own firearms. However, gun   violence in the Black community is usually the fault of the Democrats.

Usually, I would offer a long version of the “What Happened To” series here on Journal de la Reyna but the recent Blogger interface has all but eliminated the way I do these tragic stories of gun violence towards people of color. 

Let’s get this straight, I am very frustrated with the way Google rolled out the Blogger interface. 

It’s been a tragic sign of the times during the COVID-19 pandemic. Google employees are hearing the frustration (but ain't doing a damn thing about it). Because they are working from home, it’s almost impossible for them to get Blogger to work in an effective way.

We have unrest in the nation. African Americans, Latinos and Native Americans had enough of the status quo in politics, religion, entertainment and law. The need to change started on May 25, 2020 when a cop placed his knee on the neck of an American citizen. He screamed, "I can't breathe...." and cried for his "mama."

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.

The need for police reform is needed in the wake of high profile police shootings of people of color. We need to also remind police that taking pictures and filming police doing their jobs is not a crime.

Why the fuck can a film crew from Cops and Live PD film police doing their jobs but not an average person?

Somehow, the police got the story twisted when it comes to “freedom of speech” and “interfering with a police encounter.”

When a person is filming a police officer, they are doing it as their right to see actions being conducted are legal. With police officers now being equipped with body cameras, the demands for bad cops to be held liable for their actions is now growing.

Too many cops get away with criminal activity. Being lauded by a police union and a “law and order” president and Republican Party, the police are finding it easy to convince voters that reform is a coded word for “defund the police.”

Bad cops consider Black Lives Matter a disease. They believe that BLM is there to incite riots and threaten harm on law enforcement. Bad cops will often use their personal social media to denounce the group, lawmakers who support the movement and toss around a racially offensive remark or two. 

Bad cops are going to get good cops killed. I am just saying this as a fact. 

Joe Bennett was filming an incident when cops arrested him for recording them.

So a white man filming a police encounter in Kentucky is roughed up and charged with menacing.

Joe Bennett of Jeffersontown, Kentucky was served a knuckle style chili after he filmed police officers doing their job. The cops were in the middle of an arrest outside a McDonald’s when two of them came towards his vehicle.

Mind you he was 50-feet away from the police and he wasn’t interfering with the arrest.

Bennett told the junk food media, he just was observing a normal pullover nothing more.

 

The cops didn’t realize they were being filmed three minutes into the encounter. 

Two officers approached Bennett. When one of the cops asked to see his ID, Bennett refused.

Bennett asks why he should provide his ID, the cop replies: “You’re filming a crime scene investigation … and you’re involved.”

After Bennett refused to provide an ID, the cop grabs his phone and hits Bennett in the side of his face. The livestream ends shortly after that.

Bennett was issued a citation for menacing and resisting an arresting officer. The cop claims that he pulled an “empty strike” on him. Bennett said he got a solid left side piece.

After filming police activity, a man was sucker punched by a cop. Do you believe he would have been killed by the cops?

Lt. Col. Steve Schmidt of the Jeffersontown Police told the junk food media that the “officers were in the area investigating and making arrests related to a check fraud scheme thwarted at the Citizens Union Bank across the street from the McDonald’s.”

Bennett was pointed out by a suspect as a driver involved in the alleged crime.

Bennett hired a lawyer and said that this incident is a reminder of why police need accountability.

“[Doing] proper police work, they should have approached me gently. I wasn’t going anywhere, I wasn’t in my vehicle. I wasn’t going gto flee. They certainly shouldn’t have hit me first and asked questions later,” Bennett said.

Jeffersontown, Kentucky is a home-rule city and enclave in the unified Louisville-Jefferson County area. The city of Louisville was the scene of the March 2020 incident involving Breonna Taylor. The young EMT was shot and killed by the Louisville Metro Police after a botched raid.

The cops weren’t charged in her death. 

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, a protege of Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) sided with the cops in their decision not to prosecute them for murder. 

Taylor’s boyfriend Kenneth Walker fired a shot at the cops and they returned fire. He was arrested for attempted murder but the charges were dropped. In the phone call released to the junk food media, it showed that Walker, a legal owner, was calling 9-1-1 on a report he shot at intruders and they fired at his home hitting Breonna.

Republicans are fucking shameless hypocrites. Under President Donald J. Trump, the deficits exploded. Republicans were all on board with Trump when it came to relentless government spending. Trump raised the deficit to $1.6 billion in four short years.

Republicans often claim that the Democratic Party is the party that causes deficits. But that’s not true at all.

With Trump heading out, Joe Biden comes in. 

Now Republicans are all of sudden concerned about the deficit. They want the incoming Biden administration to crack down on spending. 

As expected, the Republicans in the senate will oppose legislation from the House if it doesn’t include spending cuts.

The Hill reports that the Republicans are now re-embracing their inner deficit hawkish nature.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the debt has surpassed the size of the American economy. 

The Republicans will try to sabotage the economy to generate support for recapturing the House of Representatives and main more gains in the Senate.

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) said that it’s pretty fucking pathetic the Republicans now all of sudden want to worry about the deficits and debt. 

“They are always concerned about the debt when we’re spending money to help people, they never care when we’re cutting billionaires and corporations. I’ve been around Washington long enough to know that Republicans’ interest in the debt is intermittent.”

The Republicans have made it clear: No spending for you!

After the four years of Trump’s spending and reckless actions, Republicans have the audacity to say they are concerned about how much debt is piled.

The two races in Georgia can determine if the Republicans remain in control of the U.S. Senate.

Trump, Vice President Mike Pence have signalled they’re going to campaign for Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) and Sen. David Perdue (R-GA). The two are facing run-offs against Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. 

Right now, the Republicans have a 9 point lead against the two Democrats. 

Turnout is going to be key. Trump lost Georgia by 1.2 points which proved to be a crucial factor in Biden’s victory.

Republicans shouldn’t be rewarded control of the Senate. They failed to pass coronavirus relief. 

They were too busy trying to pack the courts with white nationalists. They quickly confirmed Amy Coney Barrett despite their hypocritical stance on letting the people decide.

A Houston-area woman dies after her dumbass girlfriend decided to play chicken with a passenger train. This woman just recently gave birth to her child. 

The dumbass was allegedly trying to beat an Amtrak train. 

Rhonda Clay will never see the joys of being a mother. Her dumbass girlfriend’s decision to cross the railroad tracks with the crossing arms down was a deadly example of….

The driver Brittinie Green survived the crash and it expected to face manslaughter. In the state of Texas, manslaughter could range from five years to LIFE in the iron college. Right off the bat, she will be legally responsible for the death of Clay. She will lose her driver’s license for life. Amtrak will sue her for damages to their passenger train. The crew could sue her for emotional distress. The railroad company that owns the track will sue for damages to their crossing arm, the cleanup and the potential lawsuit they’ll face from folks who suffered from emotional distress.

The tragedy happened around 5pm on Wednesday. Green was driving a green BMW X3 northbound on Sheldon Road in northeast Harris County.

Texas woman's decision to beat a train killed her girlfriend.

Clay’s family is devastated by the news of her death. They are extremely upset that Green decided to take a dumb ass risk by “trying to beat a train.”

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said that Green maneuvered the vehicle into the southbound lane to get past two other cars that had come to a stop in front of the tracks.

The railroad crossing arms were down to warn drivers that a train is approaching but like most dumbass Green ignored the warnings to stop. So this isn’t the first time. 

The train was on route from New Orleans to Los Angeles. The train crew and 45 passengers were not hurt in this.

The vehicle exploded and Clay was thrown out. She died the moment the train slammed into the vehicle. 

Green was taken to a local hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries. 

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The outgoing president Donald J. Trump continues to not hold any public events. He is continuing his golf outings. And he is also losing the battle in the federal courts to overturn the results of the election.

Given that he’s out of luck trying to halt the certifications in Georgia, Pennsylvania and likely Michigan, the president tweets a baseless conspiracy about President-elect Joe Biden.

Biden can only enter the White House as President if he can prove that his ridiculous “80,000,000 votes” were not fraudulently or illegally obtained. When you see what happened in Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia & Milwaukee, massive voter fraud, he’s got a big unsolvable problem!

On one note, Trump ain’t calling him “Sleepy Joe” anymore. 

Still the president shows no signs of conceding to Biden. Yesterday, Trump went bonkers on folks when he made a call to the U.S. troops overseas. He was sitting at a small table and a photographer captured how uncomfortable the table was for the president.

He was angry at a reporter who asked him about his plans post-election.

The reporter Jeff Mason was pressing him on the claims of the election being “rigged.”

“Don’t talk to me that way,” Trump raged. “You’re just a lightweight.”

“Don’t talk to me that way,” he continued on. “I’m the President of the United States. Don’t ever talk to the president that way.”

Mason only asked what he will do if the Electoral College certifies Biden on December 14.

“Well if they do, they made a mistake, because this election was a fraud,” Trump said.

Folks were shocked to see the president at a small table and not at the Resolute Desk, a desk that was made from the timbers of a Royal Navy ship called the HMS Resolute. It was one of the historical facts of the presidency. It projects pure power. So for Trump to use that tiny table, it shows that he’s a lame duck and a bitter loser. 

The desk was so small it has his legs barely fitting beneath it. It also sparked rumors of Trump being seated. Some believe he was wearing an adult diaper because he butt was sticking out and looked weird. 

A hashtag trended yesterday saying #DiaperDon and it was spreaded by progressives and some of Trump’s harshest critics. Of course, he still complaining about cities like Detroit and Philadelphia robbed him of his victory.

Biden did poorly in big cities (Politico), except those of Detroit (more votes than people!), Philadelphia, Atlanta and Milwaukee, which he had to win. Not surprisingly, they are all located in the most important swing states, and are long known for being politically corrupt!

While at his Trump National Golf Course in Virginia, the president got a little heated when he shot his golf ball into the pond. In words mentioned, Trump uttered, “I hate this fucking hole.”

Before he shot his ball into the water, he grumbled, “Oh, shit.” 

Yeah, he is frustrated and disappointed that his presidency will be coming to an end soon.

Many of his supporters want him to run again in 2024. Almost immediately, he will try to suck the air out the room. He’s already doing it right now by sabotaging the BIden transition.

He already told Republicans to make sure he’s a “one-term” president.

Trump has done little since he’s lost the election. He was expected to host a large gathering at Mar-a-Largo but that was scrapped for the White House. 

He says he might campaign for Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) and Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) in a last ditch effort to motivate voters to turnout in order to keep the Senate in Republican control.

Trump has all but abandoned his usual calls to Fox News. He openly mocked the far-right network after it called Arizona for Biden. 

Trump and his allies will continue to push baseless conspiracies about the election. Twitter and Facebook warned Trump that he will be punished once he leaves the White House. 

Trump had special access to Twitter. As the president, Twitter must maintain a special operation for U.S. leaders for the public to know. Once Trump is out of office, he loses his privilege to say whatever the hell he wants without being suspended or blocked on social media.

Trump cannot block Americans as the president. As a private citizen he can do whatever he wants. But he can too be banned from Twitter and Facebook if he continues to push baseless claims or incite violence.

Do American even care about getting COVID-19?

I do and I can tell you that no amount of bargains is going to have me out and about.

Folks are mad rushing to the department stores, malls and grocery stores for those wacky deals on this Black Friday. The day after Thanksgiving is usually the most important day for a retailer.

Because if a retail fails to obtain a profitable weekend, it’s usually curtains. I'm talking to you Kmart and Sears. 

With over 300,000 Americans dead from the coronavirus and over 15.5 million people infected, the CDC had stated that it would be wiser to do your holiday shopping online. But you know folks who are tired of listening to doctors, scientists, government officials and company policies will ignore that.

They’ll be some going to these crowd buildings and buy, buy, buy the latest.

The pandemic has taken the fun out of watching millions of Americans literally kill one another for the latest “it” item.

Even though the Sony folks are rolling out the Playstation 5 game system, it’s not like the long massive lines of the previous years.

Here's things to remember about the coronavirus. Revised.

1. Wash your hands frequently. Wash for at least 20 seconds (two Happy Birthday songs).

2. Do not touch your face (mouth, nose and eyes)

3. Cough into your elbow instead of your hands.

4. Keep a safe distance (at least 6 to 10 feet) from individuals. Businesses are now issuing social distancing and will have the right to refuse service if you're not adhering to the guidelines.

5. If you're sick, please stay home. You could spread the disease to others and trust me, you could face legal ramifications if you're sick and you deliberately showing up to work.

6. There is no treatment or cure for the COVID-19.

7. Follow state and federal laws regarding this. Some states have relaxed regulations but that doesn't mean you're fully able to return to normal life. You have to stay vigilant and remind yourself that you can still catch this despite social distancing and safe sanitation practices.

8. Do not hoard items like toilet paper, milk, eggs, bread, gloves, hand sanitizer, etc.

9. Use social media like Facebook Messenger, Meet, Zoom, Google Duo, Skype or social media to connect.

10. COVID-19 can live on surfaces for more than 72 hours. Including steel, plastic and cardboard.

11. A pandemic has no timeline. The coronavirus is new and scientists are trying to figure out how to combat this.

12. COVID-19 doesn't care about borders. The coronavirus spreads from human to human contact. We have no confirmation on how it made it to the United States. Don't believe what Donald J. Trump says about it coming from China. It was detected in China, then Italy and our first confirmed case was in January 2020 in the United States. We probably had thousands of people affected in 2019 and we just didn't know it.

13. If you deliberately infect other individuals, food and first responders, you will be charged with crime. So if people are trying to cough on you, sneeze on you, lick food products, lick toilet seats and refuse to wear masks where its required, they could face criminal charges. This is a controversial issue because some believe the mask isn't protecting them and some don't care about you or your family's health.

14. If you have signs of bluish lips or face, inability to wake or stay awake, new confusion, persistent pain in the chest, trouble breathing or blood in cough, call 9-1-1. There are mobile testing sites in your community but always check with a doctor first before getting a test at a public center. Most doctors will not take you openly without facial protection and confirmed symptoms.

Americans who refuse to wear a mask are going to kill us all.

15. Not all symptoms of COVID-19 are confirmed or denied. New issues keep showing up. So don't believe everything you've heard. The most common symptoms are noted above. Also please note that asymptomatic individuals are folks who have no symptoms but are spreading. Those are folks who look normal but have it and not showing signs yet.

16. Retail is now mandating workers and shoppers to wear facial protection. If you are continuing to not follow company policies when it comes to wearing facial protection, you can be banned from their establishment. Walmart, Kroger, Target, Whole Foods, Best Buy and other companies are now requiring facial protection in their businesses.

17. Have patience with those in the healthcare industry, service industry and law enforcement. They are operating at limited staff. Those who work at restaurants, casinos, media companies, landscaping, construction and first responders are working to serve and help you. But note, that they are putting themselves at risk as well of catching the coronavirus. Respect those who have to work in this. There are companies working on producing a vaccine. They will produce a vaccine that is safe and effective before usage. See 19.

18. Some hand sanitizers are considered dangerous to your health. Methanol-based hand sanitizer could be toxic to those with weaken immune systems or allergies. The Food and Drug Administration have warned of methanol contamination. Some products made in Mexico and China may be dangerous. There are some people ingesting hand sanitizer. See 19.

19. Please do not ingest or inject sanitizer, bleach or hydroxychloroquine into your body. There is no cure for the coronavirus. Scientists are working on creating a safe vaccine to treat the coronavirus.

20. Hold your state and federal lawmakers accountable for not taking the threat seriously. Donald J. Trump deliberately ignored the threat. In a series of audiotapes produced by the Washington Post's Bob Woodward, Trump was warned about the threat from the jump. He downplayed it because he didn't want to lose the trade deal and force Americans to take precautions. Now six months since declaring the pandemic we have over 250,000 dead and over 9 million infected. Republican lawmakers are trying to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and end the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act because of their stupid principles. It's important that you get go out and vote.

21. THE MASK DOESN'T IMPALE BREATHING! YOU CAN FUCKING BREATHE THROUGH A MASK! THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF A MASK BEING A THREAT TO THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF THOSE WEARING THEM PROPERLY. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR THE MASK ABOVE YOUR NOSE AND COVER COMPLETELY YOUR CHIN. 

22. YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID! MISINFORMATION IS PROBABLY THE MOST DANGEROUS THING TO DEAL WITH WHEN IT COMES TO A PANDEMIC.

According to the CDC, there is still not enough information on antibodies for COVID-19 and whether they can prevent someone from getting reinfected. It still recommends that people with a positive antibody test follow recommendations for protecting themselves and others.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!
