Roselynn Carter has passed away from natural causes. President Joe Biden along with former presidents and former first ladies react.
Roselyn Carter, the wife of the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter has passed away a few days after news confirmed she entered hospice care.
President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, former presidents Donald J. Trump, Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton along with former first ladies, Melania Trump, Michelle Obama, Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton react to the passing of Carter.
Clinton is the last surviving first lady of the 20th Century.
Carter (born Elanor Roselynn Smith) served as the First Lady of the United States from 1977 to 1981. She was the closest adviser to Jimmy Carter during his one term as U.S. president and their four decades thereafter as global humanitarians, has died at the age of 96.
The Carter Center said she died Sunday after living with dementia and suffering many months of declining health. The statement announcing her death said she “died peacefully, with family by her side” at 2:10 p.m. at her rural Georgia home of Plains.
“Rosalynn was my equal partner in everything I ever accomplished,” Carter said in the statement. “She gave me wise guidance and encouragement when I needed it. As long as Rosalynn was in the world, I always knew somebody loved and supported me.”
President Joe Biden called the Carters “an incredible family because they brought so much grace to the office.”
James Earl Carter, Jr. said that Roselynn was the woman he wanted to spend his life with.
“He had this great integrity, still does. And she did too,” Biden told reporters as he was boarding Air Force One to leave Norfolk, Virginia, on Sunday night. “God bless them.” Biden said he spoke to the family and was told that Jimmy Carter was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Later, the White House released a joint statement from the president and first lady Jill Biden saying that Carter inspired the nation. “She was a champion for equal rights and opportunities for women and girls; an advocate for mental health and wellness for every person; and a supporter of the often unseen and uncompensated caregivers of our children, aging loved ones, and people with disabilities,” the statement said.
Reaction from world leaders poured in throughout the day.
The Carters were married for more than 77 years, forging what they both described as a “full partnership.” Unlike many previous first ladies, Rosalynn sat in on Cabinet meetings, spoke out on controversial issues and represented her husband on foreign trips. Aides to President Carter sometimes referred to her — privately — as “co-president.”
“Rosalynn is my best friend ... the perfect extension of me, probably the most influential person in my life,” Jimmy Carter told aides during their White House years, which spanned from 1977-1981.
Jimmy Carter served one term as president. He dealt with economic woes, tension in the Middle East and a Republican Party obsessed with revenge.
The former president, now 99, remains at the couple’s home in Plains after entering hospice care himself in February.
Fiercely loyal and compassionate as well as politically astute, Rosalynn Carter prided herself on being an activist first lady, and no one doubted her behind-the-scenes influence. When her role in a highly publicized Cabinet shakeup became known, she was forced to declare publicly, “I am not running the government.”
Many presidential aides insisted that her political instincts were better than her husband’s — they often enlisted her support for a project before they discussed it with the president. Her iron will, contrasted with her outwardly shy demeanor and a soft Southern accent, inspired Washington reporters to call her “the Steel Magnolia.”
Both Carters said in their later years that Rosalynn had always been the more political of the two. After Jimmy Carter’s landslide defeat in 1980, it was she, not the former president, who contemplated an implausible comeback, and years later she confessed to missing their life in Washington.
Jimmy Carter trusted her so much that in 1977, only months into his term, he sent her on a mission to Latin America to tell dictators he meant what he said about denying military aid and other support to violators of human rights.
She also had strong feelings about the style of the Carter White House. The Carters did not serve hard liquor at public functions, though Rosalynn did permit U.S. wine. There were fewer evenings of ballroom dancing and more square dancing and picnics.
Throughout her husband’s political career, she chose mental health and problems of the elderly as her signature policy emphasis. When the news media didn’t cover those efforts as much as she believed was warranted, she criticized reporters for writing only about “sexy subjects.”
Carter is ranked 25th in presidential popularity.
As honorary chairwoman of the President’s Commission on Mental Health, she once testified before a Senate subcommittee, becoming the first first lady since Eleanor Roosevelt to address a congressional panel. She was back in Washington in 2007 to push Congress for improved mental health coverage, saying, “We’ve been working on this for so long, it finally seems to be in reach.”
She said she developed her interest in mental health during her husband’s campaigns for Georgia governor.
“I used to come home and say to Jimmy, ‘Why are people telling me their problems?’ And he said, ‘Because you may be the only person they’ll ever see who may be close to someone who can help them,’” she explained.
After Ronald Reagan won the 1980 election, Rosalynn Carter seemed more visibly devastated than her husband. She initially had little interest in returning to the small town of Plains, Georgia, where they both were born, married and spent most of their lives.
“I was hesitant, not at all sure that I could be happy here after the dazzle of the White House and the years of stimulating political battles,” she wrote in her 1984 autobiography, “First Lady from Plains.” But “we slowly rediscovered the satisfaction of a life we had left long before.”
After leaving Washington, Jimmy and Rosalynn co-founded The Carter Center in Atlanta to continue their work. She chaired the center’s annual symposium on mental health issues and raised funds for efforts to aid the mentally ill and homeless. She also wrote “Helping Yourself Help Others,” about the challenges of caring for elderly or ailing relatives, and a sequel, “Helping Someone With Mental Illness.”
Frequently, the Carters left home on humanitarian missions, building houses with Habitat for Humanity and promoting public health and democracy across the developing world.
“I get tired,” she said of her travels. “But something so wonderful always happens. To go to a village where they have Guinea worm and go back a year or two later and there’s no Guinea worm, I mean the people dance and sing — it’s so wonderful.”
In 2018, George H.W. Bush passed away. His son, George W. Bush, Donald J. Trump, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and future president Joe Biden attended his funeral. This would be the last public gathering for Jimmy and Roselynn Carter.
In 2015, Jimmy Carter’s doctors discovered four small tumors on his brain. The Carters feared he had weeks to live. He was treated with a drug to boost his immune system, and later announced that doctors found no remaining signs of cancer. But when they first received the news, she said she didn’t know what she was going to do.
“I depend on him when I have questions, when I’m writing speeches, anything, I consult with him,” she said.
She helped Carter recover several years later when he had hip replacement surgery at age 94 and had to learn to walk again. And she was with him earlier this year when he decided after a series of hospital stays that he would forgo further medical interventions and begin end-of-life care.
Jimmy Carter is the longest-lived U.S. president. Rosalynn Carter was the second longest-lived of the nation’s first ladies, trailing only Bess Truman, who died at age 97.
Eleanor Rosalynn Smith was born in Plains on Aug. 18, 1927, the eldest of four children. Her father died when she was young, so she took on much of the responsibility of caring for her siblings when her mother went to work part time.
She also contributed to the family income by working after school in a beauty parlor. “We were very poor and worked hard,” she once said, but she kept up her studies, graduating from high school as class valedictorian.
She soon fell in love with the brother of one of her best friends. Jimmy and Rosalynn had known each other all their lives — it was Jimmy’s mother, nurse Lillian Carter, who delivered baby Rosalynn — but he left for the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, when she was still in high school.
President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden knew the Carters back when he was a Delaware senator. The Bidens will pay tribute to Carter this week.
After a blind date, Jimmy told his mother: “That’s the girl I want to marry.” They wed in 1946, shortly after his graduation from Annapolis and Rosalynn’s graduation from Georgia Southwestern College.
Their sons were born where Jimmy Carter was stationed: John William (Jack) in Portsmouth, Virginia, in 1947; James Earl III (Chip) in Honolulu in 1950; and Donnel Jeffery (Jeff) in New London, Connecticut, in 1952. Amy was born in Plains in 1967. By then, Carter was a state senator.
Navy life had provided Rosalynn her first chance to see the world. When Carter’s father, James Earl Sr., died in 1953, Jimmy Carter decided, without consulting his wife, to move the family back to Plains, where he took over the family farm. She joined him there in the day-to-day operations, keeping the books and weighing fertilizer trucks.
“We developed a partnership when we were working in the farm supply business,” Rosalynn Carter recalled with pride in a 2021 interview with The Associated Press. “I knew more on paper about the business than he did. He would take my advice about things.”
At the height of the Carters’ political power, Lillian Carter said of her daughter-in-law: “She can do anything in the world with Jimmy, and she’s the only one. He listens to her.”
X is losing more ad revenue. This is the IDF literally spreading disinformation in its invasion and seizure of the al Shifa Hospital.
Formerly known as Twitter, X has seen is value decline rapidly. The company under Elon Musk has really went downhill and it allowed other platforms to surpass it.
Meta's Threads has over 290 million users but no where close to the engagement of X.
TikTok is the No. 1 social media platform right now. It has turned the tide to the status quo. The videos being shared are really waning America's support for Israel.
Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, President Joe Biden, King Charles III, Washed Up 45, Fox, CNN, Republicans, Democrats, Israel, Meta, Google and Mark Zuckerberg better change course on the status quo or pay the price.
X has been the leading platform for disinformation and it has state sponsors like Russia, Israel, China and the U.S. involved in pushing agendas.
Now X is paying the price for Musk and his "absolutist" agenda.
Advertisers are fleeing social media platform X over concerns about their ads showing up next to pro-Nazi content and hate speech on the site in general, with billionaire owner Elon Musk inflaming tensions with his own posts endorsing an antisemitic conspiracy theory.
IBM, NBCUniversal and its parent company Comcast said this week that they stopped advertising on X after a report said their ads were appearing alongside material praising Nazis — a fresh setback as the platform formerly known as Twitter tries to win back big brands and their ad dollars, X’s main source of revenue.
The liberal advocacy group Media Matters said in a report Thursday that ads from Apple and Oracle also were placed next to antisemitic material on X. On Friday it said it also found ads from Amazon, NBA Mexico, NBCUniversal and others next to white nationalist hashtags.
“IBM has zero tolerance for hate speech and discrimination and we have immediately suspended all advertising on X while we investigate this entirely unacceptable situation,” the company said in a statement.
Spokespeople for Comcast and NBCUniversal confirmed on Saturday that the companies had “paused” their advertising on X but did not provide additional details on the decision. Media Matters said it found ads for NBCUniversal’s Bravo network and its brand agency Catalyst next to antisemitic or white nationalist content.
Apple, Oracle and Amazon did not immediately respond to requests seeking comment.
The European Union’s executive branch said separately Friday it was pausing advertising on X and other social media platforms, in part because of a surge in hate speech. Later in the day, Disney, Lionsgate and Paramount Global also said they were suspending or pausing advertising on X.
Musk sparked outcry this week with his own tweets responding to a user who accused Jews of hating white people and professing indifference to antisemitism. “You have said the actual truth,” Musk tweeted in a reply Wednesday.
Musk has faced accusations of tolerating antisemitic messages on the platform since purchasing it last year, and the content on X has gained increased scrutiny since the war between Israel and Hamas began.
“We condemn this abhorrent promotion of Antisemitic and racist hate in the strongest terms, which runs against our core values as Americans,” White House spokesperson Andrew Bates said Friday in response to Musk’s tweet.
X CEO Linda Yaccarino said X’s “point of view has always been very clear that discrimination by everyone should STOP across the board.”
“I think that’s something we can and should all agree on,” she tweeted Thursday.
Yaccarino, a former NBCUniversal executive, was hired by Musk to rebuild ties with advertisers who fled after he took over, concerned that his easing of content restrictions was allowing hateful and toxic speech to flourish and that would harm their brands.
“When it comes to this platform — X has also been extremely clear about our efforts to combat antisemitism and discrimination. There’s no place for it anywhere in the world — it’s ugly and wrong. Full stop,” Yaccarino said.
The accounts that Media Matters found posting antisemitic material will no longer be monetizable and the specific posts will be labeled “sensitive media,” according to a statement from X. Still, Musk decried Media Matters as “an evil organization.”
The head of the Anti-Defamation League also hit back at Musk’s tweets this week, in the latest clash between the prominent Jewish civil-rights organization and the billionaire businessman.
“At a time when antisemitism is exploding in America and surging around the world, it is indisputably dangerous to use one’s influence to validate and promote antisemitic theories,” ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said on X.
Musk also tweeted this week that he was “deeply offended by ADL’s messaging and any other groups who push de facto anti-white racism or anti-Asian racism or racism of any kind.”
Greenblatt is an Islamophobic Zionist who works on behalf of Israel. His role at the ADL missed the mark. He literally is trying to stifle Pro-Palestinian protests.
The group has previously accused Musk of allowing antisemitism and hate speech to spread on the platform and amplifying the messages of neo-Nazis and white supremacists who want to ban the ADL.
Bird brain billionaire Elon Musk.
The European Commission, meanwhile, said it’s putting all of its social media ad efforts on hold because of an “alarming increase in disinformation and hate speech” on platforms in recent weeks.
The commission, the 27-nation EU’s executive arm, said it is advising its services to “refrain from advertising at this stage on social media platforms where such content is present,” adding that the freeze doesn’t affect its official accounts on X.
The EU has taken a tough stance with new rules to clean up social media platforms, and last month it made a formal request to X for information about its handling of hate speech, misinformation and violent terrorist content related to the Israel-Hamas war.
X isn’t alone in dealing with problematic content since the conflict.
On Thursday, TikTok removed the hashtag #lettertoamerica after users on the app posted sympathetic videos about Osama bin Laden’s 2002 letter justifying the terrorist attacks against Americans on 9/11 and criticizing U.S. support for Israel. The Guardian news outlet, which published the transcript of the letter that was being shared, took it down and replaced it with a statement that directed readers to a news article from 2002 that it said provided more context.
The videos garnered widespread attention among X users critical of TikTok, which is owned by Beijing-based ByteDance. TikTok said the letter was not a trend on its platform and blamed an X post by journalist Yashar Ali and media coverage for drawing more engagement to the hashtag.
The short-form video app has faced criticism from Republicans and others who say the platform has been failing to protect Jewish users from harassment and pushing pro-Palestinian content to viewers.
TikTok has aggressively pushed back, saying it’s been taking down antisemitic content and doesn’t manipulate its algorithm to take sides.
Now the Israeli propagandists are calling protesters racist for showing a watermelon.
Israel is dividing Democrats. The issue has driven wedges between the progressive and moderate wing of the party. The Israeli and Russian governments see this as an opportunity to make a "killing" off it.
Now the propaganda has shifted from antisemitism to racism all in protest of inhumane acts by a foreign country.
Now we are dehumanizing Pro Palestinian protesters as secretly racist because they used a watermelon next to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies of New York, the first Black top lead within the Democratic Party. Jeffries is a pro Israeli lawmaker who refuses to call for a ceasefire and voted along with most members to fund Israel in its genocide of the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
Watermelon is a symbol of Palestinians' public expression in protests and artworks representing the struggle against the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.
Pro Biden influencers are falling for Israeli propaganda or they are getting paid for spreading it. I don't know whether it's one or the other.
Wondering why you’ve seen watermelons across the country in movements for Palestinian liberation?
Here’s a thread about the long history of watermelon as a Palestinian protest symbol👇
African-Americans & watermelon dates back to slavery around 19th century. Palestine started using watermelon 🍉 as symbol of freedom starting in 1967. Instead of doubling down, can we course correct & NOT put a black man’s next to a slice of watermelon knowing its historic nature pic.twitter.com/33sG9NNarQ
If using a watermelon on a sign is racist, then what do you call spending $100 million to defeat Congress members critical of Israel, who happen to be all NON-WHITE?https://t.co/IQ7xI9YbaK
Two things can be true: The watermelon is a symbol of Palestinian freedom going back to the six-day war when Israel banned the Palestinian flag.
It’s also true that the DSA hasn’t used the symbol of a watermelon in any other protest imaging to date. It’s not coincidence. pic.twitter.com/Oi419oOaJD
The use of the watermelon imagery is anti-Black racism. Period.
"River to the sea" is a call for genocide of Jews. Period.
Questioning Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state is antisemitism. Period.

Google is free!
The use of a watermelon in Palestine-related content is because the flag of Palestine was banned by Israel so people took to carrying watermelons — which is the same colors as the Palestinian flag — in protest against the censorship of their national identity. https://t.co/ziCcwhdPyx
The Democratic Socialist of America is aligned group with progressive lawmakers within the Democratic Party. The Democrats are losing support among the progressive base.
Young voters, Arab Americans, Jewish and Black voters have soured on President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party. The hardline stance on Israel has become a red line within the party.
Jeffries being in support of Israel also led to protests outside his office.
The 22 members who voted with Republicans to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) are facing backlash for showing their true colors. Their Islamophobia and ill-gotten gains from AIPAC have now invited protests as well.
Folks can Google watermelon and Palestine.
AIPAC and the ADL, two front groups working on behalf of the state of Israel are working to find primary challengers for members of the Squad. Most of these members are people of color.
What do you call an organization whose only purpose to act as an agent of a foreign nation trying to defeat lawmakers of color?
The tactics are not working. Israel will be held accountable for its actions.
I am calling out President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA), Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY), Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and all the AIPAC endorsed members of the Democratic Party.
The choice is yours. You want to stand in silence to this foreign country committing a war crimes and an outright genocide! Okay, good luck in 2024.
The fascists within the Republican Party will vote. They are motivated by revenge and are willing to destroy democracy to do it. The possibility of a Democratic Party collapse is looking seismic. We are repeating the mistakes of the past.
AIPAC enjoys the support of Jeffries.
Not listening and dehumanizing protest against injustice is what Republicans and conservatives do. They always call anti-status quo protests, anti-American and the such.
The party must disassociate itself from Israel before it's too late.
The party can support Israel but also call for accountability and warn of sanctions.
The world wants to sanction Israel and put these criminals on trial. The U.S. which has a permanent seat at the United Nations keeps vetoing the decisions. It must end the veto and issue a decree to punish Israel. Or at least force the UN to reform veto powers given to the U.S., Russia, France, Great Britain and China.
So if you want to scream over a flyer with a watermelon instead of a fucking genocide happening right before your eyes, you pretty much described yourself as the racist here!
The junk food media is spinning propaganda for the state of Israel. They are trying to gather themselves and reestablish the narrative that Israel is fighting against terrorism and not committing war crimes.
Joe Biden could be the last U.S. president in history to back Israel.
Once 2024 comes and the world sees the destruction and displacement of millions, the Israeli government will become pariahs. But guess who else will be a pariah?
The United States of America.
Biden is facing pressure to address Israel for its war crimes. Most Americans support an immediate ceasefire. The president and Congress will not support it. They are actually believing that Israel has the right to defend itself and having the remaining hostages are released, the military strikes will cease.
Biden has a 51% chance of winning reelection. His chances are falling because of his stance on Israel, the economy, his age and fatigue of the status quo. Ukraine is literally being ignored now and the possibility of Russian aggression will strengthen.
TikTok has surpassed Facebook and X in engagement and it has Congress renewing their calls to ban it. Of course, the hypocrisy never stops.
Some on TikTok are proving to be quite effective in pressuring world leaders to call out Israel. Now the American government once again is trying to censor, punish and criminalize free speech when it comes to Israel. TikTok has became No. 1. On top of that, folks are starting to show empathy. TikTok and YouTube have removed videos in regards to bin Laden by request of the U.S. and Israel.
Osama bin Laden, the former leader of al Qaeda is back in the news. In May 2011, former president Barack Obama ordered a covert mission to assassinate bin Laden in Pakistan.
It was a successful strike and world leaders praised the decision.
I did at first and still believe his death as well as Ayman al-Zawahiri's death crippled the extremist group. Their legacy will remain in the minds of individuals who believe injustices towards Muslims will become a rally call.
So the bin Laden Letter to America is trending.
Those on social media are reading the bin Laden letter and are taking notice to why the U.S. was attacked on Sept. 11, 2001. Bin Laden dismisses the claims he is attacking their freedoms and the Jewish religion. He said that the U.S. meddling in Middle Eastern and Muslim affairs sparked this. He said that Israel and the occupation of Palestinians have inflamed tensions.
Bin Laden wrote:
Palestine, which has sunk under military occupation for more than 80 years. The British handed over Palestine, with your help and your support, to the Jews, who have occupied it for more than 50 years; years overflowing with oppression, tyranny, crimes, killing, expulsion, destruction and devastation. The creation and continuation of Israel is one of the greatest crimes, and you are the leaders of its criminals. And of course there is no need to explain and prove the degree of American support for Israel. The creation of Israel is a crime which must be erased. Each and every person whose hands have become polluted in the contribution towards this crime must pay its price, and pay for it heavily.
It brings us both laughter and tears to see that you have not yet tired of repeating your fabricated lies that the Jews have a historical right to Palestine, as it was promised to them in the Torah. Anyone who disputes with them on this alleged fact is accused of anti-semitism. This is one of the most fallacious, widely-circulated fabrications in history. The people of Palestine are pure Arabs and original Semites. It is the Muslims who are the inheritors of Moses (peace be upon him) and the inheritors of the real Torah that has not been changed. Muslims believe in all of the Prophets, including Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all. If the followers of Moses have been promised a right to Palestine in the Torah, then the Muslims are the most worthy nation of this.
When the Muslims conquered Palestine and drove out the Romans, Palestine and Jerusalem returned to Islaam, the religion of all the Prophets peace be upon them. Therefore, the call to a historical right to Palestine cannot be raised against the Islamic Ummah that believes in all the Prophets of Allah (peace and blessings be upon them) - and we make no distinction between them.
The blood pouring out of Palestine must be equally revenged. You must know that the Palestinians do not cry alone; their women are not widowed alone; their sons are not orphaned alone.
He said that American influence on policies have brought poverty, war and economic disruption. Al Qaeda vowed to cripple the government and financial markets.
TikTok being pressured to remove content that criticizes Israel.
Al Qaeda said the U.S. will waste all its resources trying to stop them. They also noted that American Muslims and those who live in Europe, Australia and Africa will come to their aid and join them. They said the U.S. will be so paranoid of a terrorist attack, they will destroy the very freedoms they're trying to protect.
He called on Americans to abandon the perversion of sins.
He said that electing leaders who use fear and manipulation to paint Muslims as terrorists cry victim when the finger is pointed at them.
A lot of grievances and of course, he response is to basically send others to do something he never would have done.
Bin Laden did not fly the jets, operated the motorboats, drove the cars or beheaded the hostages. Yet, his influence on Muslims made him as guilty as those who did the acts.
Nonetheless, his letter to America was a clear example to why Israel and its occupation of people contributed to the attacks on the West.
The Israeli troll farm is doing its best to equate criticism of its policies and government to Judaism and those who speak against it are anti-semitic.
Its one sided offense in Gaza has sparked worldwide protest and condemnation to world leaders who support it. Biden, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and European Union president Ursula von der Leyen are being called partners in crime.
Israel's leaders Benjamin Netanyahu and Isaac Herzog are laying the groundwork for forcible removal of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
Right now, the U.S. is behind the scenes talking to Israel and the Hamas leaders to issue a ceasefire. But the damage is done.
Biden took a one sided stance to the conflict and literally believed every propaganda push by Israel.
His failure to pressure Israel and call for restraint will be an indicator to whether he will keep his Arab American Muslim and Jewish support.
Young voters will not forget this and trust me, Biden and Washed Up 45 will be in for a rude awakening if they continue to back Israel.
Israel says al Shifa Hospital harbored terrorist tunnels. They provided a 3D video but no confirmed evidence.
Here's a question for you?
How come Israel is the only trusted source when it comes to reporting the situation in Gaza?
I mean literally, Israel has pushed state run propaganda in regards to its operation (genocide) in the occupied Gaza and West Bank.
The October 7th resistance by Hamas has shown the world that Israel in fact was the aggressor and it was pretty smart for the resistance to turn the tide.
The Hamas operation called, Al-Aqsa Flood was a response to the occupation, the targeting of civilians in Jenin, the Saudi Arabia-Israeli brokered peace deal, the U.S. moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the years long blockade, the defecation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the razor wire wall and the failure to give back the land stolen from them since the Nakba.
For years, many believed the propaganda that Israel pushed out. From clai s about Hamas being a terrorist group to the lies that Israel having being the victim in these flare ups.
These flare ups were decades of Israeli government decisions to literally eradicate the Palestinian state.
The U.S. taxpayer is paying for Israel's troll farm, influence campaign and its military.
Not once, the city of Tel Aviv been struck by a Hamas rocket. But the images shown by the junk food media show Gaza City in ruins. It gives the impression by folks like Justin Bieber and Jamie Lee Curtis that Israel was under attack.
The 13,000 civilians killed by the Israeli air strikes have also come into question.
Have they killed the hostages as well?
Cause if you had hostages, obviously they are held in places where they are being fed, treated and used as a bargain chip.
So the hospitals were struck by Israeli Defence Force. In their propaganda videos, their head leader, Daniel Hagari spent time showing props with the claims Hamas did it.
Hagari has not shown the tunnels under the hospital. Mind you the IDF showed the 3D animation claiming that Hamas built an underground network of tunnels.
The Gaza Strip has a population of 2.43 million. The unemployment there is 89%.
The average age of its population is 14 years old.
The average rate of pay is less than $4.
So how the hell can Hamas make a network of sophisticated military tunnels?
I mean Israeli intelligence is shared with the U.S., European Union and Great Britain. I get the feeling that the United States was duped into wars. Egypt had sanction the removal of tunnels and eased restrictions getting aid in.
Hamas could have dug underground tunnels into Tel Aviv. Yet, they never accomplished this. The underground tunnels were used to smuggle goods, money and resources.
Since the blockade, Israel had used deadly force anytime a group provided aid to the Gaza Strip.
The hospitals and schools are part of an agreement partnering nations and the UN. Most who work at the facilities are volunteers and International relief workers.
Israel's propaganda is so bad right now.
They are paying people to push pro Israeli propaganda.
Now the QAnon Soy Shaman wants to run for Congress.
About 80% of these rioters are not sorry about storming the U.S. Capitol. They took plea deals to prevent lengthy bids in the iron college. They used their white privilege and crocodile tears to convince a federal judge that they were "sorry" for their actions.
Soon as they got out of the iron college for taking less than year or even a day in, it's back to being the unrepentant assholes who were indoctrinated by Washed Up 45.
Brandon Straka, the founder of the far right group, #WalkAway was the first of many unrepentant assholes to dismiss his guilt. He tearfully plead guilty for his actions and told the judge he would show repentance.
He so far is trying to make a profit off it. He is hoping that Washed Up 45 returning to power would give him a pardon and commute of his sentence.
He is an openly gay far right extremist who paraded himself in prison garb at CPAC. He ended up posing with the most insufferable herself, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
The Dallas area realtor, Jenna Ryan flew on a private flight and participated in the unlawful entry. She was going to get two years for that. But she plead guilty and awaited a sentence. The judge found out her social media and saw through her phony apology. Ryan ended up getting 60 days. Since her release, Ryan continues to promote conspiracy theories and denounced her sentence.
Now here comes Jacob Chansley, the QAnon Shaman, Q Shaman or the Yellowstone Wolf.
Chansley is the alt-right conspiracy theorist and activist who participated in the January 6 attack on the United States Capitol, for which he was convicted of felony charges of obstructing an official proceeding.
Chansley pleaded guilty to a single count of obstructing an official proceeding on September 3, 2021, and agreed to accept the prosecution's recommended sentence of 41 to 51 months in prison as part of the settlement. Earlier, his lawyer said Chansley broke away from QAnon and asked that it no longer be used in terms for him. Judge Lamberth turned down a request for release (Chansley wanted to visit his grandfather while Watkins wanted to provide him with shelter and care for his mental health) on the grounds that there was no convincing evidence that there would not be any risk of escape.
Chansley was sentenced to 41 months in prison on November 17. He served his sentence at Federal Correctional Institution - Safford in Safford, Arizona, with an original release date of May 25, 2024. On March 30, 2023, attorney Albert Watkins announced Chansley had just been released from prison 14 months early and moved to a halfway house. In November 2021, Chansley told the court, "Men of honor admit when they're wrong. Not just publicly but to themselves. I was wrong for entering the Capitol. I have no excuse. No excuse whatsoever. The behavior is indefensible."
It appears he retracted his statement of guilt. He is now considering a run for Congress and is working on a book to explain why he felt it was a moment in history.
Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) is retiring and it is a seat that Republicans feel confident they'll keep in their column regardless.
He isn't the only extremist running. Trent Franks is climbing out of his hole after a sex scandal. Blake Masters is also running after changing his mind on running for Senate.
Unrepeatable assholes who will cause more chaos. The next round of insufferable lawmakers.
His former girlfriend and once signed act exposes his dirty secrets. Maybe she may be the key to getting him busted for the Tupac Shakur murder.
Combs is accused in a lawsuit Thursday of subjecting R&B singer Cassie to a yearslong relationship that included beatings and rape.
Cassie, whose legal name is Casandra Ventura, alleged in the suit filed against the producer and music mogul in New York federal court that Combs brought her into his “ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle” not long after she met him and signed to his label when she was 19 and he was 37 in 2005.
Attorney Ben Brafman said Combs “vehemently denies” the allegations.
Ventura, now 37 herself, said Combs, now 54, began the pattern of abuse began as soon as their relationship did.
The suit alleges that, “prone to uncontrollable rage,” he subjected her to “savage” beatings in which he punched, kicked and stomped her. It alleges he plied her with drugs, and forced her to have sex with other men while he masturbated and filmed them.
The suit says that as she was trying to end the relationship in 2018, Combs forced her into her Los Angeles home and raped her.
“After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” Ventura said in a statement.
The Associated Press does not typically name people who say they have been sexually abused unless they come forward publicly as Ventura has.
Brafman called the allegations “lies.”
“For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail,” he said in a statement. “Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”
Ventura’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor responded in a statement that Combs offered her “eight figures to silence her and prevent her the filing of this lawsuit. She rejected his efforts and decided to give a voice to all woman who suffer in silence.”
Combs is among the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the past three decades.
Cassie said appearances were decieving.
Known as Diddy, Combs had began his career as an A&R manager for Uptown Records.
He got them Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Heavy D and The Boyz, Father MC and Notorious B.I.G. to the roster. He was fired from the label.
So instead of pouting, Combs launched Bad Boy Records and took Biggie, Total, Father MC and Craig Mac with him. It proved to be a big success and launched the careers of numerous acts like Mase, The Lox, Faith Evans, French Montana, Machine Gun Kelly, 112, Carl Thomas and others.
He and Ventura began dating in 2007 and had an on-and-off relationship for more than a decade.
She became known for the Ryan Leslie-produced hit single “Me & U,” which secured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart in 2006. The song was the lead single of her only studio album, which was self-titled.
As an actor, she has appeared in several television and films projects including Fox’s “Empire,” “Step Up 2:The Streets” and “Spenser Confidential.”
This year, he released his fifth studio album “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” which earned two Grammy nominations this month.
I'mThe lawsuit cites a speech Combs gave while receiving a lifetime achievement honor at the BET Awards in 2022, in which he thanked Ventura for “holding me down in the dark times, love.”
The suit says, “The truth, however, is that Cassie — Ms. Casandra Ventura — was held down by Mr. Combs and endured over a decade of his violent behavior and disturbed demands.”
It was a hoax. Snoop Dogg was promoting a smokeless fireplace.
Big Snoop gives up his love.
Okay, it was shocking that Snoop Dogg announced he was no longer smoking weed anymore.
Calvin Broadus came into the rap game in 1992 when he was a featured guest on Dr. Dre's The Chronic album. When he released his debut album Doggystyle, it went three times platinum. It sealed his name in music history.
On Thursday night, Snoop shared a serious selfie on Instagram and asked for followers and fans to respect his privacy.
His strange behavior initially sparked worry among fans who were shocked he was cutting the habit.
But others have tried to encourage him through the change, and wish nothing but the best for his health.
One fan commented: "1 hour at a time big bro," as others shared their stories of sobriety.
The news may come as a shock to some - the rapper has long been open about his love of weed, and even claimed to have smoked in the White House. He has launched several business ventures related to marijuana, including a pot-focused media company called “Merry Jane,” and a line of cannabis products.
He has also invested in in Casa Verde Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in marijuana start-ups.
Snoop Dogg released 19 albums, five collaboration albums and 25 mixtapes.
Snoop Dogg is the owner of Doggystyle Records, Death Row Records and Mount Westmore.
Big Snoop announced he will release his 20th album on Death Row and Aftermath Entertainment. It will be the first Death Row return of Dr. Dre who co owned the label with Marion "Big Suge" Knight.
Snoop Dogg worked with numerous acts through hip-hop, R&B, pop, rock, country, reggae and gospel.
A small Long Island newspaper expose doomed the freshman lawmaker. When it reached the New York Times and Washington Post, he became a laughing stock. His lies about his religion, his upbringing and his social life have became fodder. He was a huge headache for Republicans and was considered the most vulnerable Republican in 2024 election.
So instead of running for another term, Rep. George Santos (R-NY) announced he will no longer seek reelection. Santos is the first openly gay Republican to be elected to the House of Representatives. He is also one of the most corrupt members so far this term.
He joins Eric Massa, Allen West, Katie Hill and Trey Radel as disgraced lawmakers.
A House Ethics report released shows how much of manipulated liar Santos was.
Santos has 67 federal charges on him and he is still under investigation for crimes before he became a lawmaker. Brazil still has a warrant for him after the check fraud scandal.
He also is under federal watch after his name showed up in a credit card skimming criminal investigation in Orlando.
Drag out.
The House Ethics Committee released its Investigative Subcommittee's report, accusing Santos of fraud similar to those he had already been criminally charged with, such as diverting campaign funds for personal use, as well as money raised for RedStone Strategies that donors were told would be used on campaigns. The subcommittee listed some of those personal purposes, including over $4,000 to Hermés, plastic surgery and Botox, payments of personal credit card bills and other debts, travel to Atlantic City and Las Vegas that had no campaign purpose, and a small amount on OnlyFans subscriptions. In a news release accompanying the report, the committee said:
The ISC’s investigation revealed a complex web of unlawful activity involving Representative Santos's campaign, personal, and business finances. Representative Santos sought to fraudulently exploit every aspect of his House candidacy for his own personal financial profit. He blatantly stole from his campaign. He deceived donors into providing what they thought were contributions to his campaign but were in fact payments for his personal benefit. He reported fictitious loans to his political committees to induce donors and party committees to make further contributions to his campaign—and then diverted more campaign money to himself as purported "repayments" of those fictitious loans. He used his connections to high value donors and other political campaigns to obtain additional funds for himself through fraudulent or otherwise questionable business dealings. And he sustained all of this through a constant series of lies to his constituents, donors, and staff about his background and experience. The ISC determined there was substantial evidence that Representative Santos violated federal criminal laws, some of which are the subject of the pending charges filed against him in court.
Insufferable Lauren Boebert and insufferable Matt Gaetz with insufferable Santos.
Santos subsequently announced he would not run for reelection, although he would remain in Congress for the rest of his term. He called the report "a disgusting politicized smear that shows the depths of how low our federal government has sunk."
The House Ethics Committee report Thursday said it has amassed “overwhelming evidence” of lawbreaking by Santos that has been sent to the Justice Department, concluding flatly that he “cannot be trusted” after a monthslong investigation into his conduct.
Santos said he would not be seeking reelection to a second term. He gave no indication, however, that he would step aside before his term ends, vowing to pursue his “conservative values in my remaining time in Congress.”
But a renewed effort to expel him from the House was quickly launched. The House could vote on his expulsion as soon as it returns from the Thanksgiving holiday later this month.
The Justice Department declined to comment about the ethics report, as did the Brooklyn U.S. attorney’s office, which is handling the case against Santos.
Earlier this week, a former fundraiser for Santos pleaded guilty to a federal wire fraud charge, admitting he impersonated a high-ranking congressional aide while raising campaign cash for the embattled New York Republican.
Santos easily survived a vote earlier this month to expel him from the House as most Republicans and 31 Democrats opted to withhold punishment while both his criminal trial and the Ethics Committee investigation continued. But the committee’s report could prove to be a game-changer.
Insufferable Marjorie Taylor Greene with insufferable Santos.
Rep. Susan Wild, for example, the ranking Democrat on the Ethics Committee, said she was no longer obligated to maintain neutrality because the committee’s work is now complete.
“I intend to vote yes on any privileged expulsion resolution that is brought forward,” Wild said.
Rep. Jeff Jackson of North Carolina, one of the Democratic lawmakers who voted against expelling Santos earlier this month, said Santos has now received due process.
“This report is fully damning,” he tweeted on X. “I will vote to expel him.”
And Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., who also voted no on the latest expulsion vote, said it’s not enough for Santos to say he won’t seek reelection.
“He should immediately resign or be expelled so his constituents can be represented by someone who isn’t a fraud,” Malliotakis said.
Expulsion, the sternest form of punishment, has occurred just five times in the history of the House — three times during the Civil War for disloyalty to the Union and twice after convictions on federal charges, most recently in 2002. Two-thirds of the House would have to vote to expel Santos for the resolution to pass.
If Santos were to be expelled, it would narrow the GOP’s already thin majority in the House, which now stands at 221-213. But many of his Republican colleagues from New York support booting Santos from the House as they seek to distance themselves from his actions.
While Santos now says he won’t seek reelection, his campaign was already woefully short on resources and candidates from both parties were scrambling at the chance to challenge him. Campaign records show he had about $28,000 on hand at the end of the fundraising quarter ending Sept. 30, an incredibly small sum for an incumbent.
Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) calls protesters, terrorist sympathizers. You wondering why it is getting harder and harder to support the Democratic Party. They are on the brink of catastrophic failure in 2024.
Members of the progressive groups IfNotNow, Jewish Voice for Peace Action and the Democratic Socialists of America gathered with others outside the headquarters for a vigil calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war, which has raged for more than a month.
Apparently, these pro-#Hamas demonstrators want #Republicans to prevail in the next Congressional election. (2/2)
IfNotNow shows protesters linking arms and singing in front of the building. In a second video posted later that night, two protesters are seen being pushed down the stairs by police officers. Additional footage shows police shoving protesters, who continue chanting “Let Gaza live!” and “Cease-fire now!”
“Tonight, hundreds of peaceful anti-war activists came to the DNC to call for an end to bombs and violence in order to save Palestinian and Israeli lives. They were met with brutal assaults by the police,” Beth Miller, political director of Jewish Voice for Peace Action, said in a statement obtained by HuffPost. “The Democrats need to decide: will they stand on the side of peace and justice, or will they continue to support war and genocide?”
Now cops are violently attacking hundreds of people calling for a ceasefire outside of DNC Headquarters, as we chant "Let Gaza Live!"
We want to be crystal clear to the Democratic Party: you cannot continue to ignore those you claim to represent.
We will not be moved. We are still here, arms linked, peacefully standing our ground at the entrance.
80% of Dem voters want a ceasefire. How many children have to die before Dem politicians listen to the people they represent? pic.twitter.com/DpleelR9X0
We marched to DNC headquarters w/@JVPaction & @DemSocialists because we know: each day without a ceasefire is an unspeakable tragedy.
So many lives have already been lost. So many more will die, every day, until Democratic politicians LISTEN to the people of this country. pic.twitter.com/VrqxwjDTwP
The protest outside DNC headquarters reflects similar events held across the country urging lawmakers to press for a cease-fire. It follows a large March for Israel rally Tuesday in Washington against antisemitism, NBC News reported.
Pro Palestine protesters are calling for President Joe Biden to issue a ceasefire.
He has so far ignored it and is literally gambling his political chances come election time,
Democrats have managed to hold onto Virginia state politics, held Kentucky's governorship, codify choice in Ohio and elected Democrats in Jacksonville and an independent who aligned with the party in Colorado Springs.
Brad Sherman calls protesters terrorists.
But they ended up losing Louisiana, having numerous state and local officials switch to become Republicans, have Dean Phillips challenge Biden, Joe Manchin retire, censured Rashida Tlaib and continue funding Israel and Ukraine.
Republicans continue to feud with one another. They are threatening Mr. Nobody, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) after he voted to keep government open. The party is still disorganized. They wasted more time chasing conspiracy theories instead of governing.
The conflict has sparked a movement. A movement to end U.S. funding war.
The Israeli government has shown how formidable they are in pushing propaganda in the United States. I mean they literally are spending millions to engage in spreading propaganda through Facebook, YouTube, X and TikTok.
TikTok is on the verge of surpassing Facebook in engagement. The videos shown on the platform have made Americans more sympathetic to the Palestinians.
Now Congress and the Israelis want to ban it.
Again, they want to punish companies and individuals who dare speak against the inhumane actions of a rogue state.
Sherman, being a Jewish lawmaker from California claims to support Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ rights, immigrant rights, women rights, Ukraine, democracy and Biden's agenda.
But when it comes to Palestinians, he is against it. He clearly stated that Israel has the right to defend itself.
In February, Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) announced she was no longer interested in Congress. She said it was "too much drama."
“It’s been my honor representing Hoosiers in the Indiana State Senate and U.S. Congress and I appreciate the strong support on the ground. 2024 will mark seven years of holding elected office and over a decade in Republican politics,” Spartz, 44, said in a statement.
“I won a lot of tough battles for the people and will work hard to win a few more in the next two years. However, being a working mom is tough and I need to spend more time with my two high school girls back home, so I will not run for any office in 2024,” she added.
She also felt that her party abandoned allies.
Spartz is an Ukrainian American lawmaker. She was very supportive of President Joe Biden allowing military aid to the Ukrainian and Israeli governments.
On keeping the government open, Spartz voted against it.
She voiced frustration with Mr. Nobody, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).
Republicans opposed the stopgap measures that are put forward. Spartz was one of 93 members along with two Democratic members opposing the measure.
Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) is an asshole. He has always been and will continue to be regardless. The Oklahoman senator threatens a Teamster during a hearing. The senator stood up like he was about to square off.
Mullin confronts Sean O’Brien, the president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, to “stand your butt up” and settle longstanding differences right there in the room.
Independent senator, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, the insufferable chairman of the Senate panel that was holding the hearing, yelled at Mullin to sit down after he challenged O’Brien to a fight. Mullin had stood up from his seat at the dais and appeared to start taking his ring off.
“This is the time, this is the place,” Mullin told O’Brien after reading a series of critical tweets O’Brien had sent about him in the past. “If you want to run your mouth, we can be two consenting adults. We can finish it here.”
The two men never came face to face in the hearing room. But they hurled insults at each other for around six minutes as Sanders repeatedly banged his gavel and tried to cut them off. Sanders, a longtime union ally, pleaded with them to focus on the economic issues that were the focus of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee hearing, which Sanders was holding to review how unions help working families.
“You are a United States senator!” Sanders yelled at Mullin at one point.
Mullin, a frequent critic of union leadership, has sparred before with the union head. Earlier this year, O’Brien posted repeatedly about Mullin on X, formerly known as Twitter, calling him a “moron” and “full of s---” after Mullin criticized O’Brien at a hearing for what Mullin said were intimidation tactics.
In another social media post, which Mullin read aloud at Tuesday’s hearing, O’Brien appeared to challenge Mullin to a fight. “You know where to find me. Anyplace, Anytime cowboy,” O’Brien had posted.
The exchange escalated from there, with Mullin telling O’Brien that “this is the place” and asking if he wanted to do it right now.
“I’d love to do it right now,” O’Brien said.
Mullin replied: “Well, stand your butt up then.”
“You stand your butt up,” O’Brien shot back.
When Mullin got up from his chair, appearing ready for a fight, Sanders yelled at him to sit down, banged his gavel several times and told both of them to stop talking.
“This is a hearing, and God knows the American people have enough contempt for Congress, let’s not make it worse,” Sanders said.
As Mullin persisted, O’Brien retorted: “You challenged me to a cage match, acting like a twelve year old schoolyard bully.”
The two traded angry insults for several more minutes — each called the other a “thug” — with Mullin at one point suggesting they fight for charity at an event next spring, repeating an offer he made earlier this year on social media.
O’Brien declined, instead suggesting they meet for coffee and work out their differences. Mullin accepted, but the two kept shouting at each other until the next senator, Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, started her questioning by talking over them.
Teamster president Sean O'Brien called Mullin out for his theatrics,
After the hearing, Sanders called the exchange “absurd.”
“We were there to be talking about, and did talk about, the crisis facing working families in this country, the growing gap between the very rich and everybody else and the role that unions are playing in improving the standard of living of the American people,” Sanders said. “We’re not there to talk about cage fighting.”
Asked later about the skirmish, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell demurred. “It’s very difficult to control the behavior of everybody who is in the building,” McConnell said. “I don’t view that as my responsibility.”
Republican Sen. Kevin Cramer of North Dakota said that references were made to the back-and-forth in a GOP conference meeting after the hearing. But he said that no one should take it too seriously.
“It’s a dynamic place,” Cramer said of the Senate. “We don’t wear the white wigs anymore.”
