Dan Bongino Off The Fox!

Dan Bongino is officially a washed up celebrity.

After paying $790 billion to Dominion Voting Systems, Fox is looking to trim its resources.

It appears the far right troll Dan Bongino will no longer have place at Fox. He was fired out the cannon. Oh by the way, Bongino was dancing on the unceremonious firing of Tiffany Cross when she was let go.

I am still fuming at MSNBC for letting her go.

Bongino could not reach a deal with Fox on his contract.

“It’s not some big conspiracy,” Bongino said on his podcast. “There’s no acrimony. This wasn’t like some WWE brawl that happened. We just couldn’t come to terms on an extension.”

Bongino hosted the Saturday night show “Unfiltered” and said that while he was given the chance to do a last show this weekend, he decided against it.

The blunt-talking former New York police officer began doing commentary on Fox a decade ago, joining as a contributor in 2019 and beginning his Saturday night show in 2021.

His “Canceled in the USA” program on Fox Nation will also end, and the streaming service will no longer air his daily radio show. Bongino may still appear as a guest on Fox shows, the network said.

“We thank Dan for his contributions and wish him success in his future endeavors,” Fox said in a statement Thursday.

Bongino was on OANN, NRA TV, Newsmax, America's Real Voice and Fox. It has been nothing but disasters. He ran for office multiple times and never won. He was blocked in YouTube and banned on Twitter (before Musk took over).

All he is best known for is his brief time as former president Barack Obama's inner Secret Service agent. He probably was let go during the trip to Colombia. You know the incident where a handful of agents partied with hookers.

Bongino does not like being called out for his bullshit. He is known to block people on social media whenever he gets upset.

Dan Bongino, you are a washed up celebrity and a total asshole.

Blame Game: Ty Reik McCullough, Travis McCullough, Johnny Brown And Wilson Hill!

Three terrorists were nabbed in the Dedeville mass shooting.

Two teens and a two men are being held in custody after they committed one of the most deadliest mass shootings in Alabama history. The 16 year old and 17 year old are likely going to charged as adults and they could face LIFE in the iron college.  Had they been 18 or older, they were eligible for the DEATH card. Two 20 year old men will be eligible for LIFE or DEATH.

The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The brothers and the man were arrested after a Saturday mass shooting at a Dedeville Music Hall. it was a Sweet 16 party that became a large fight and thus firearms were drawn and six people were killed. Dozens of others were injured by gunfire.

The terrorists both attended Booker T. Washington Magnet High School. One was a player on the football team. The other did attend the school, but was expelled prior to the shootings.

On Wednesday afternoon, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) announced that a third suspect has been arrested. The third terrorist has been identified of Auburn. The men were arrested and formally charged with four counts of reckless murder.

All four suspects are being held without bond n the Tallapoosa County Jail pending bond hearings. Prosecutors will ask all be held without bond.

Under Alabama law, the crime of reckless murder is committed when a person recklessly engages in conduct which creates a grave risk of death to a person other than himself or herself and causes the death of another person.

Gov. Kay Ivey, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) and the U.S. Representatives from Alabama were notified of this mass shooting. They will do the usual "thoughts and prayers" and "our hearts goes out to" as well as the Republicans saying that "now it's not the time to talk" bullshit.

These people don't have mental illness. They are calculated and prepared. It happened to be a moment where they have the opportunity to take out lives. There's no sickness in the head. Most mass shooters legally obtain their assault rifles without little background checks. They have likely no criminal history and they are willing to use the assault weapon in the only thing it's good for: Killing numerous lives.

Two more terrorists caught.

Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem.

THE NICE GUY IS THE MOST DANGEROUS PERSON WITH A FIREARM. THOSE WHO ARE SPURN BY RELATIONSHIPS, THE WORKPLACE, SOCIETY IN GENERAL WILL SEEK REVENGE BY TAKING OUT LIVES. THEY WANT TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS OF MASSACRING THEIR FELLOW HUMAN BEING.

THE JUNK FOOD MEDIA AND POLITICIANS ADD FUEL TO THE FIRE BY AMPING UP POLARIZING RHETORIC.

An active shooter doesn't care about the politics, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, your finances, your family, your plans that day, your successes, your failures, and most importantly, your life.

The shooter is motivated within seconds to take out as many people as he/she can.

What to do to protect your life.

1. Run - If you hear sounds like firecrackers, popping sounds or suspicious activities around a large gathering (i.e. malls, stores, clubs, public gatherings), if you can flee, run away from the shooter. Do not run in a straight path of the sight. Move around and zig-zag if possible to keep yourself out the line of fire. It's best to not film a shooter commiting the act. If you are willing to risk your life for a viral video, more power to you but its best to stay out of the line of fire by running away.

2. Hide - If you are involved in an active shooting, you must barricade yourself in a room and keep doors locked, lights off, phones on silent. Do not go into restrooms, lockers and kitchens. Those are most likely places where shooters often go. If you can barricade a room to prevent a shooter from getting in, it eliminate the opportunity for the shooter to get through. Make sure you keep your voice low when you're involved in mass shooting. Call 9-1-1 if you can.

3. Fight - If you are willing to risk your life or willing to film the incident, you have no choice but to fight. Make sure you grab something that is powerful enough to disarm a shooter. Do not confront a shooter in the midst of sight. Make yourself not visible if you're trying to fight. Do not think being a "good guy with a gun" is going to stop a bad guy. The cops don't see good guys trying to stop bad guys. They see active shooters and they will shoot anyone who is armed regardless of the matter. If you're ready to fight, be prepared to die. It's best to not be easily seen if you're trying to stop a shooter. If you're a conceal carry and attempt to disarm an active shooter, you are willing to sacrifice your life to save lives. You are willing to go hero, you could die a hero or an idiot.

According to the far rightWhite shooters are mentally ill. Black shooters are unrepentant criminals. Gay shooters are active groomers. Muslim shooters are terrorists. Hispanics and Asians shooters are illegal immigrants. Almost all mass shooters are registered Democrats because they have liked one thing common to the left. Of course, they often share disinformation by using the "Sam Hyde" meme as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white. They say a white person should "protect" from protesters and use of firearms are justified. They say if a shooter is active military or a veteran who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified.

The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox and they force it into national news. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms. The far right and Republicans exploit gun violence in the Black community for culture wars and racism.

Republicans solutions are more guns, blame others for America's social ills and defect from accepting reality.

“There is a tremendous amount of work to do. We’re going to be careful with everything we say and everything we do. We’re going to stay focused on the victims and their families,” said Sgt. Jeremy Burkett of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency on Wednesday.

The dance studio is closed indefinitely.

Burkett has not disclosed where any of the arrests were made. He also would not say how many guns were fired or how many shots were fired.

Killed in the shooting were Philstavious Dowdell, 18, Shaunkivia Nicole “Keke” Smith, 17, Marsiah Emmanuel “Siah” Collins, 19, and Corbin Dahmontrey Holston, 23.

Another 32 people were injured, some of them critically, when gunfire erupted at approximately 10:34 p.m. Saturday at Mahogany’s Masterpiece dance studio on North Broadnax Street in downtown Dadeville, one block from the courthouse.

The party was for Dowdell’s sister, Alexis Dowdell, who said her brother died protecting her.

Dowdell said she dove to the floor near the DJ as the dozens of revelers ran. She “didn’t know where to run,” in part because shots seemed to come from multiple directions.

When there was a break in gunfire, she bolted for the front door. But someone pushed her. It was her brother, trying to protect her.

The investigation is ongoing by multiple law enforcement agencies.

District Attorney Mike Segrest said the suspects will have an Aniah’s Law bond hearing within 72 hours, and then a preliminary hearing in the coming weeks. The case could then go to a grand jury.

You're not safe in the school, the concert, the bank, the hospital, the church, the casino, the bus station, the subway, the light rail train, the buses, the malls, the local big box store, the political rally, the protest rally, ringing a doorbell, turning around in a driveway, apologizing for accidently (or purposely) trespassing, the women's center for reproductive surgeries, the mosque, the synagogue, the state buildings, the workplace, the gas station, the family picnic, the food truck rally, the funerals, the birthday parties, the graduations, the wedding, the televised events, the sporting events and many more events that have some terrorist with a firearm. Domestic violence, suicide, racism, culture war inspired, politically motivated and international operatives inspired are types of gun violence.

With Republicans in charge of the House of Representatives, the only thing they'll offer to every mass shooting is "thoughts and prayers", "our hearts going out to", "the good guy with a gun", and their most common phrase "now it's not the time to politicize these tragedies."

Another tragedy in American.

Use the hashtag #ignorethenoise whenever you deal with folks who embrace this.

The ban of semiautomatic rifles and bump stock assortments has always been a a problem.

Republicans refuse to support the ban of these type of weapons.

Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence, monkeypox and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how gun reform is taking away your rights to own firearms.

I don't want to hear that protesting against police killing people of color is hate on cops in general. I don't want to hear talk about the coronavirus being a myth.

When you hear folks say "gun rights," what they really mean is that its white privilege. This good guy with a gun nonsense has to end. The cops didn't do nothing when children were shot inside a school. A security guard was shot dead trying to protect shoppers. A cop accidentally shot his own. The good guy who tried to stop a bad guy is outgunned and a part of the rule #3.

Remember #3 means: The "good guy with a gun" better be prepared to die if they want to stop a shooter.

Alexis Dowell loses brother to gun violence.
I don't want to hear folks say masks and vaccine mandates impede their freedoms. It prevents a deadly outbreak from spreading. If you want to die from the coronavirus, that's on you. We lost over 1 million people from the coronavirus.

I don't want to hear the shit about guns saving lives. Cause a bullet does not have eyes and it's always likely gonna hit a target. These folks seem to not get it. These incidents are a tragic part of American history. Thoughts and prayers and your heart going out to the victims is not enough. It quite frankly is an insult. I am also tired of scapegoating Black on Black crime, Chicago, Baltimore and Democratic mayors for the nation's obsession to be numb to gun violence. You pretty much enable this nonsense by deflecting.

President Joe Biden is trying to curb gun violence. However, he has no support from Republicans. Most Democrats and America are for gun control measures. However one Democrat and one independent who caucuses with the Democrats in the Senate refuse to change the filibuster rules and its holding us back.

The National Rifle Association is always pushing against it. They will not relinquish from the narrative that guns are not saving lives. The Republicans aided by a fickle junk food media are openly encouraging anarchy and disruption in a desperate attempt for the Republicans to win back Congress and the White House. These agitators are calling for Biden to curb crime but will not help him. They want more guns on the street. It makes no sense.

So in closing, expect more.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM IN THE UNITED STATES.

Mistaken Car Leads To A Shooting!

Peyton Washington shot in road rage.
What happened to Peyton Washington?

A teen is shot after she encountered a man who had a road rage after she ended up grabbing the door of his vehicle. The teen thought the man was in her car. The man exited his car and fired on two of the teens.

The Texas authorities are quick to arrest this shooter.

Days after Ralph Yarl was shot after ringing a doorbell in Kansas City. Days after Kaylin Gillis was murdered after turning into the wrong driveway in rural New York.

Will Gov. Greg Abbott pardon this guy?

The teen was seriously injured but will survive.

Payton Washington, 18, was shot in the leg and the back in the gunfire that erupted around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday in an H-E-B parking lot in Elgin, her father, Kelan Washington, said.

Payton Washington, a cheerleader at Woodlands Elite Cheer Co., was heading home from practice with three friends when they were shot at, allegedly by a 25-year-old suspect, who has since been arrested.

Kelan Washington said one girl was grazed by a bullet and treated and released at the scene, but Payton suffered more serious injuries. She was transported via helicopter to a hospital in critical condition, Elgin police said.

Payton’s father said doctors removed her spleen and she’s now stable in the ICU at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas in Austin.

“Payton’s accomplished everything she has with only one lung [from] when she was born. She’s as tough as they come,” he said.

The shooting unfolded as four cheerleaders with Woodlands Elite Cheer Co. stopped at an H-E-B parking lot, where some of the members had parked their cars, on their commute home from practice, Lynn Shearer, owner of Woodland’s Elite Cheer Co., told NBC affiliate KXAN of Austin.

Kelan Washington said the H-E-B was a "designated carpool site." He said Payton had been going to Woodlands Elite in Houston for almost 10 years and was very familiar with the commute from Houston to her home in Round Rock, about 170 miles away.

At the H-E-B, one of the girls accidentally tried to get into the wrong car, Shearer said.

That’s when, she said, a “guy got out and they saw that he had a gun. And so they tried to speed off, and he shot his gun, like five times or so into the car.”

Payton's father verified Shearer's account about the mistaken car.

“He raised his hands and then brandished his weapon and then just started shooting at the girls,” Kelan Washington said, noting the shooter didn't say anything before firing.

He expressed shock that the shooter resorted to opening fire.

"You watched her walk up to your door on accident — it's a girl in a cheer outfit," he said.

Elgin police said in a statement, "Information suggests that an altercation occurred in the parking lot of HEB, and multiple shots were fired into a vehicle." Two of the girls in the car were struck by gunfire.

A suspect, Pedro Tello Rodriguez Jr., 25, was taken into custody and charged with deadly conduct. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Kelan Washington said the other girls are doing “fine” in the wake of the shooting and are supporting his daughter.

“They’re family. Those girls are Payton’s sisters basically in spirit and in team camaraderie,” he said. “Of course they’re very concerned about their sister, they’re very concerned about their leader. Payton was the leader of this cheer squad in Houston.”

The suspect faces reckless endangerment, improper discharge of a firearm and attempted murder. These charges could land the suspect in the iron college for LIFE.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Going Into A Driveway Leads To Deadly Shooting!

Young woman was murdered after her friends went into the wrong driveway.

What happened to Kaylin Gillis?

A young woman is shot and killed by a man after a mistaken driveway encounter. The New York authorities have arrested this man and are holding him on involuntary manslaughter. This incident comes days after Ralph Yarl was shot in the head and arm after ringing the doorbell of the wrong house. Days after Payton Washington was shot after she grabbed on a car door of a motorist.

Kaylin Gillis was shot and killed in Hebron, New York after the car she was in turned onto the wrong driveway. 65-year-old Kevin D. Monahan was arrested after a standoff and was taken into custody at the Washington County Correctional Facility in Fort Edward, where he was charged with second-degree murder. He faces 25 years to LIFE in the iron college.

She was 20 years old.

Gillis and her friends were driving in the rural town of Hebron, New York looking for a friend's house in the evening. The vehicle was being driven by her boyfriend, and was traveling with another vehicle that had also pulled into the same driveway. After turning into the wrong driveway, the group began to back the vehicle out of the driveway. The homeowner, Kevin D. Monahan, exited his home and fired two shots at the vehicle. The group then drove towards the neighboring town of Salem, New York and called emergency services, as there was limited cellphone reception where the shooting took place.

Blake Walsh, 19, of Cambridge, New York, said exclusively Tuesday night in a phone call that he and three passengers — two friends and his girlfriend, Kaylin Gillis, 20 — had been looking for the party when two rounds were fired in their direction.

Walsh, who was driving a Ford Explorer, said Gillis was fatally shot as they left a driveway in Hebron, about 50 miles north of Albany.

Walsh said the four friends were traveling with another vehicle that also pulled into the wrong driveway. The group realized they were at the wrong home and were leaving.

“We thought we were at the right address,” Walsh said. “We didn’t have any cell service to figure it out. As soon as we figured it out that we were at the wrong location, we started to leave, and that’s when everything happened.”

Walsh said what occurred next was a blur.

“My friend said, ‘They’re shooting — go!’ I tried to step on the gas as fast as I could, and that’s when the fatal shot came through,” Walsh said.

“I want to believe it was instant. I’m hoping it was. I’m praying it was,” he said through tears.

Authorities said the suspect fired twice after the group mistakenly turned into the driveway of his home. Monahan is alleged to have fired as the group was leaving, Washington County Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy told reporters Monday.

Murphy said the group “clearly” posed no threat.

One of the bullets struck Gillis, who was pronounced dead several miles away after the group called 911, authorities said. Walsh said she was struck in the neck. They had to drive 5 miles because of the lack of cell service, he said.

“It did not feel like that," Walsh said. "It felt like 30 seconds. The adrenaline was rushing so bad.”

Monahan was arraigned Sunday on charges of second-degree murder and pleaded not guilty, said his lawyer, Kurt Mausert.

Mausert said Monahan did not intend to hurt anyone when he fired.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Secret Service Nab Tiniest White House Breacher!

Breach of the White House grounds are taken seriously. A small child slipped through and the Secret Service caught him. His parents won't face charges.

President Joe Biden was at The White House and the U.S. Secret Service did not comment on the intruder. However, there will be no charges for this intruder. The intruder was a toddler who managed to slip through the narrow fencing surrounding The White House.

U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division officers, who are responsible for security at the White House, walked across the North Lawn to retrieve the tot and reunite him with his parents on Pennsylvania Avenue. Access to the complex was briefly restricted while officers conducted the reunification. Officers briefly questioned the parents before allowing them to continue on their way.

It may be the first successful intrusion onto the complex since the White House fence was doubled in height to roughly 13 feet (3.96-meters) in recent years after a series of security breaches. While taller, the new fence has an additional inch of space between pickets, for a total of 5½ inches (12.7 centimeters) between posts.

Older children have sometimes become stuck in the iconic barrier, which has also been the scene of demonstrations, with protesters chaining themselves to the fence.

The Secret Service did not immediately have comment on the incident.

All breaches are taken seriously. The Secret Service does not allow anything to penetrate the bubble. They swore an oath to protect the President, Vice President, former presidents, presidential candidates and American currencies with their lives.

The last known assassination attempt was Ronald Reagan. He was shot early in his first term by a crazed man obsessed with Jodie Foster. The man was released after spending years in a federal medical hospital.

There have been numerous breaches at the White House. One of the most recent ones that grabbed news attention was Washed Up 45 being quickly escorted out during a COVID briefing. An intruder managed to get on the grounds and was shot.

The 1/6 Candy Man Is A Pedophile!

The company you keep.

The feds are watching Ali Alexander, the founding member of the Stop The Steal Rally which led to the mob of Washed Up 45 supporters rioting at the U.S. Capitol. Alexander is caught up in a sex scandal.

It also intensifies a feud with the insufferable lawmaker from Georgia. Laura Loomer, Nick Fuentes and Alexander are threatening to expose Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

Greene has called for a federal investigation into Alexander and Fuentes.

Well it is the allegations of grooming from members of the far right.

Alexander is accused of enticing boys to send him pictures of them doing sexual acts.

Alexander issued a non apology claiming that it was never intentional. He said he has fought his "same sex attractions" and referred the actions to being careless.

“While my audience is familiar with me battling [same-sex attraction], others aren’t as familiar. I apologize for any inappropriate messages sent over the years,” Alexander wrote. “Forgive me. While having repented before God and confess at Church, I want my supporters and those involved to hear my apology today. When I’ve flirted or others have flirted with me, I’ve flexed my credentials or dropped corny pick up lines. Other times, I’ve been careless and should’ve qualified those coming up to me’s [sic] identities during flirtatious banter at the start.”

He continued, “Nothing unlawful has occurred. Seeing false claims alongside real messages is a deceptive technique. Some have retracted and other individuals say were deceptively edited which is why I waited. All of this is designed by a Literal Predator [editor’s note: Alexander’s capitalization] to take advantage of admitted sins and hurt my allies.”

Milo Yiannopoulos returns. He goes after Ali Alexander and Laura Loomer, two former allies to his extremist movement.

It also marks a feud between Alexander and Milo Yiannopoulos, a British far right extremist who allied with Alexander during the early years of Washed Up 45's 2016 campaign. Yiannopoulos was forced out of Ye's 2024 presidential campaign. He along with Laura Loomer have vowed to expose the alt-right influencers and those who follow them.

The Daily Beast has gotten screenshots and text messages from a far right figure who got involved in politics at an early age. He befriended Alexander. The far right extremist promised he would get connected with prominent extremists like Yiannopoulos, Laura Loomer, Jacob Wohl, Cassandra Fairbanks-MacDonald and Nick Fuentes.

The extremist was 15 at the time and was basking in the glow of "famous" celebrities.

When he turned 17, that's when Alexander turned to his lust for young bodies.

He started promising alcohol, money and get togethers at America First events. He would ask the far right extremists to make his rocket shoot off.

The non apology doesn't refer to any specific claims outlined in the Daily Beast's reporting.

Greene posted on Twitter to condemn Alexander, also claiming that Fuentes was "in on it", and calling for an FBI investigation. Alexander subsequently laid blame for the accusations on Representative Greene, claiming she had paid Yiannopoulos to make allegations against him in an attempt to intimidate him out of reporting evidence she had committed a crime.

Fox Settles With Dominion For $790 Million!

A lot of dollars being paid out. Fox agreed to pay Dominion for years of lies.

Some on air personalities will be getting a paycut.

Dominion Voting Systems agreed to a settlement with far right cable outlet, Fox News. It settles a dispute between the network's constantly promoting conspiracy theories and misinformation. The Fox Corp. agreed to pay $787.5 million to the company in its defamation lawsuit. The company will not have any of its controversial personalities take the stand.

I think that Suzzane Scott, Maria Bartiromo, Sean "Softball" Hannity, Jeanine Pirro and Tucker Carlson will probably take a hit in their paycheck.

As the jury was being selected, Fox had made a final offer which Dominion took.

It ends a two year legal drama which led to Dominion losing contracts, facing death threats and continuing to fend off allegations of "stealing" from Washed up 45.

Rupert Murdoch, his son Lachlan and numerous personalities were expect to testify under oath in a six week trial that clearly didn't look good for Fox.

“Fox has admitted to telling lies,” John Poulos, Dominion’s CEO, said at a news conference after the trial ended.

Justin Nelson, lead attorney for Dominion, told NBC News he hopes the settlement will restore faith in elections.

This alone can’t do it, right? But this shows that there is accountability, that we showed that if you are caught lying, you will be held responsible,” he said.

Absent from the settlement details shared with the public was an apology or any admission that the network had indeed defamed Dominion when it allowed baseless conspiracies to proliferate on air about the company's voting machines "rigging" 2020 presidential election against Washed Up 45. A statement from Fox about the agreement recognized the court's previous ruling that the claims Dominion had challenged in its defamation lawsuit were indeed without merit.

"We acknowledge the Court’s rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false," the Fox statement said. “This settlement reflects Fox’s continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards. We are hopeful that our decision to resolve this dispute with Dominion amicably, instead of the acrimony of a divisive trial, allows the country to move forward from these issues.”

When pressed, a spokesperson for Dominion said “an apology is about accountability, and today Dominion held Fox accountable.”

Should Fox cut Softball Hannity?

Stephen Shackelford Jr., the attorney who had been expected to give opening statements for Dominion on Tuesday, said “money is accountability."

Rumors of settlement talks had been buzzing for days, particularly after the court said late Sunday it would delay the conclusion of jury selection and opening arguments to Tuesday morning.

"The parties have resolved their case," Delaware Superior Court Judge Eric Davis said Tuesday afternoon, informing the jurors of the settlement. "That means your service is done and I’m going to excuse you. Sorry about making you wait."

Dominion sued Fox in 2021, demanding $1.6 billion in damages. It said the network defamed it when it broadcast baseless claims that it was tied to the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez, that it paid kickbacks to politicians and that its machines “rigged” the 2020 presidential election by flipping millions of votes for Washed Up 45 to Joe Biden.

The settlement came after a bruising week for Fox. During pretrial conference hearings, Davis sanctioned the network for withholding evidence, and admonished it for not being straightforward with him. He said he would allow Dominion to conduct an additional deposition with Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch at Fox’s expense. Davis also ruled that Fox lawyers could not use newsworthiness as a legal defense, limiting their possible trial strategies.

On Tuesday, Davis also appointed a special master to investigate whether Fox had adequately complied with court-ordered discovery. That probe was ended by the settlement, too.

Few defamation suits make it this far, but outside legal experts say the case — and the extraordinary claims and evidence fueling it — was unique.

The settlement is a strong outcome for Dominion, those experts said, which won't have to wait years for a potential jury-awarded payout stuck in the appeals process.

Not all settlement terms are disclosed, but experts say they believe Fox's payout to be among the biggest.

"This number is not small," said RonNell Andersen Jones, a professor at the University of Utah College of Law who specializes in the First Amendment. “It might be the biggest of its kind in history."

Juries are always a risk, especially in a politically divisive case, she added.

"While going to a jury based on 'presumed damages' and malice often results in tremendous damages, it’s still a crapshoot," Anthony Michael Glassman, a longtime media lawyer who has represented both news outlets and the subjects of stories, said in an email.

A hefty settlement without a trial "is the right way to go," he added.

Cop Walk In Jayland Walker Shooting! 👮‍♂️

Ohio says 40 shots were justified in killing Jayland Walker.

The grand jury said that eight Akron Police officers used justified force in the fatal shooting of Jayland Walker. The Ohio Attorney General, Dave Yost made a press conference on Monday confirming that despite the 40 shots Walker took after fleeing a traffic stop, the grand jury believed that Walker shot from his vehicle at cops which justified their actions. At the time of the shooting, Walker had no weapon on him.

They said a firearm was retrieved.

Walker was shot 46 times in a hail of gunfire that lasted just under seven seconds and roiled yet another city amid heightened tensions with police over the killing of a Black man that started with a routine traffic stop.

Akron’s mayor and police chief urged residents Monday to protest peacefully, acknowledging that many are angry with the shooting last June that Walker’s family has called brutal and senseless.

“Turn toward one other and not on each other,” said Mayor Daniel Horrigan.

The state’s investigation found that Walker jumped out of his still-moving car, ran from police and ignored commands to stop and show his hands. Some of the officers first used Tasers to try and stop Walker, Yost said.

But Walker reached toward his waistband and raised a hand as officers were chasing, Yost said. The officers, not knowing Walker left his gun in the car, believed he was going to fire again, Yost said. He said it is critical to remember that Walker had “shot first.”

Responding with tears and frustration at a subsequent press conference, the Walker family and their supporters mourned the grand jury’s decision and called on Akron residents to protest loudly for justice and change. Democratic U.S. Rep. Emilia Sykes, of Akron, said she will ask the U.S. Justice Department to investigate “the patterns and practices of the Akron Police Department.”

“I still can’t comprehend how a young man has 46 bullet holes from officers and that is justified,” Sykes said while also urging people to honor Walker’s memory by protesting peacefully. “I ask you to remember the words of Jayland’s family by speaking up. But do so without violence.”

The family and the NAACP previously have called on the Justice Department to open a federal civil rights investigation.

Jaymeisha Beasley, the fiance of Jayland Walker was killed in Cincinnati after a hit and run incident.

Bobby DiCello, an attorney for Walker’s family, criticized the state’s investigation, saying police gunned down Walker execution-style. Paige White, another attorney for the family, said the investigation was skewed in favor of the police and that “Jayland didn’t have a chance.”

“Akron Police Department, when you call for peace, when you call for no destruction, when you call for respect — where was your respect for Jayland?” White said.

The state investigation said police first saw Walker driving with a broken taillight and a broken light on his rear license plate, but they decided not to follow him. They saw him 10 minutes later at the same intersection and became suspicious, Yost said.

Police said Walker refused to stop and then fired a shot from his car 40 seconds into the pursuit.

Officers chased the car on a freeway and city streets until Walker bailed from the still-moving vehicle and ran into a parking lot where he was killed while wearing a ski mask, body cam video showed. Authorities said he represented a “deadly threat.” A handgun, a loaded magazine and a wedding ring were found on the driver’s seat of his car.

Police union officials said the officers thought there was an immediate threat of serious harm and that their actions were in line with their training and protocols.

Dash-cam video from a police cruiser captured images of Walker firing the gun from his car, said Anthony Pierson, an assistant state attorney general. Walker had no criminal history and had never fired a gun until he went to a shooting range with a friend in early June, Pierson said.

At the time of the shooting, Walker was grieving his fiancée’s recent death, and his family and Pierson said his actions that night were out of character.

“That night he encountered the police he wasn’t acting himself,” Pierson said. “By all accounts he was a good person, a good man.”

Authorities checked Walker’s online history and found in the weeks before his death searches for phrases including “drinking bleach” and “quickest ways to die,” according to an investigative report released Monday.

The report also contained information from a Euclid, Ohio, police captain who told investigators that Walker’s best friend interviewed for a police job in that city days after Walker’s death and suggested it had been “suicide by cop.”

Protests will continue.

But when interviewed by investigators, the friend strongly disputed that, telling detectives that Walker was distraught but never mentioned suicide.

Pierson was asked at the news conference if Walker’s death could have been suicide. He declined to speculate about Walker’s state of mind but said there was no direct evidence he was suicidal.

Akron Police Chief Steve Mylett said Monday that the city will begin an internal investigation into the shooting, but he would not release the names of the eight officers because of ongoing threats against them.

The officers, who initially were placed on leave, will remain on administrative duties. None of the eight officers appear to have been disciplined for any previous use of force incidences, according to investigation records released by the state.

While the grand jury’s decision shows no crime was committed by the officers, “in no way does that take away from the tragedy of June 27,” Mylett said.

Attorneys for the eight officers released a statement calling the incident a tragedy for the entire community, including Walker’s family and all of the officers who were involved. “A split-second decision to use lethal force is one that every police officer hopes he or she will never be forced to make,” the statement said.

A county medical officer said the autopsy found no illegal drugs or alcohol were detected in Walker’s body.

After taking over the investigation last summer at the request of Akron police, prosecutors with the Ohio attorney general’s office presented the case to the grand jury.

City set up a designated protest zone downtown outside city hall, where plywood covered the first-floor windows. Temporary fencing circled the county courthouse and many businesses boarded up their windows.

But hours after the grand jury’s decision, the protest zone was almost entirely empty on a cold, windy night mixed with snow flurries and rain.

The city’s school district canceled classes on Tuesday in the wake of the grand jury announcement.

Less than 24 hours before the chase, police in neighboring New Franklin Township had tried to stop a car matching Walker’s, also for unspecified minor equipment violations. A supervisor there called off the pursuit when the car crossed the township’s border with Akron.

Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence, monkeypox and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how gun reform is taking away your rights to own firearms.

Dave Yost declined to charge eight Akron cops for excessive force. Maybe he will do a Mike DeWine and run for governor.

Ringing Doorbell Gets Teen Shot!

The world is pulling for Ralph Yarl.

What happened to Ralph Yarl?

In Kansas City, a boy is recovering from injuries he suffered after being shot in the head and arm after ringing the doorbell of an elderly man's home. Now, this suspect is being held on attempted murder charges and there's protest to why Kansas City Police delaying the arrest.

President Joe Biden has contacted Yarl's family and called once again for gun reform laws.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Ralph Yarl, a 16-year-old African American teenager, was shot and wounded after ringing the doorbell to the wrong house in Kansas City, Missouri on April 13, 2023. Yarl was attempting to pick up his twin siblings and ended up at the wrong address, according to family members.

Andrew Daniel Lester, an 84-year-old white man, was charged in connection with the shooting on April 17. He is charged with armed criminal action and first-degree assault, which is the equivalent of attempted murder in Missouri. The Clay County district attorney stated that there was a "racial component" to the shooting. If convicted, Lester faces between 10 years to life in prison.

Man shoots teen after ringing doorbell.

In the evening hours of April 13, Yarl had been sent to pick up his siblings from an address in the 1100 block of NE 115th Terrace. He mistakenly went to a home less than a block away on NE 115th Street and rang the doorbell. Investigators allege that Lester shot Yarl twice through the house's front glass door. The Kansas City Police Department responded to reports of a shooting near the home a little before 10 p.m. Neighbors had found Yarl lying injured in the street and called police, who found Yarl with at least two gunshot wounds to the head and arm.

In the early morning hours of April 14, Lester was taken into custody. No initial charges were filed against Lester, and he was released after being held in custody for a short time, listed as “out of custody” and “general release” status on the same day.

The Clay County, Missouri prosecutors office stated on April 17 that they had not received a criminal referral from the Kansas City Police Department in regards to the shooting. Later that day, Lester was charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. In Missouri, first-degree assault is the state's equivalent for attempted murder.

Willing To Settle?

Fox is making a last minute settlement to Dominion before trial.

It appears that Fox is desperate to settle with Dominion Voting Systems. The company sued the far right network for $1.6 billion for defamation.

The trial was expected to start on Monday but was pushed back until Tuesday.

It has some concern that Dominion will settle with Fox. If they settle, then Fox will continue to push radical claims without accountability.

Fox had to apologize to Delaware Supreme Court Judge Eric M. Davis after the network withheld evidence and also sparked a whisper campaign which led to death threats against him and Dominion.

The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that Fox, which has made attempts at a settlement before, was making a final push to avoid a weeks-long trial that could see its top hosts and leaders, including 92-year-old Rupert Murdoch, take the witness stand.

News that the trial was pushed back sparked speculation on Twitter that last-minute settlement talks are underway. Legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin noted: “These kind of delays often happen when civil cases are about to settle.”

Dominion focused on allegations made between November 2020 and January 2021 by hosts Maria Bartiromo, Tucker Carlson, Lou Dobbs, Sean "Softball" Hannity, and Jeanine Pirro. Guests who often appeared with these hosts included Washed Up 45 attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, both of whom have also been sued individufally by Dominion in federal court.

Davis ruled in a March 2023 summary judgment that none of the statements Fox made about Dominion were true and ordered the case to trial to determine if the network had acted with actual malice. Jury selection for the trial began on April 13, 2023, with several prominent Fox personalities and senior executives expected to testify at trial beginning April 17.
