Biden In Kyiv!

President's Day.

President Joe Biden is going to address the Ukraine-Russia conflict. He is expected to arrive in Poland. But he made a surprise trip to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. He appeared with Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky.

Biden has been itching to visit Ukraine for months, particularly after several of his counterparts in Europe all endured lengthy train journeys to meet with Zelensky in Kyiv. French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, as well as former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, have all made visits to the country to demonstrate their support.

The highly secretive visit – which took place as air raid sirens could be heard ringing out around Kyiv while Biden walked alongside Zelensky around the gold-domed St. Michael’s Cathedral – comes at a critical moment in the 12-month conflict, with Russia preparing for an expected spring offensive and Ukraine hoping to soon retake territory.

Biden announced a half-billion dollars in new assistance, saying the package would include more military equipment, such as artillery ammunition, more javelins and Howitzers. And he said new sanctions would be imposed on Moscow later this week.

“One year later, Kyiv stands. And Ukraine stands. Democracy stands,” Biden said.

The United States and other Western nations have been rushing arms, tanks and ammunition to Ukraine in the hopes of changing the trajectory of the war. By visiting in person, Biden is offering a singular image of American support for Zelensky, who has spent the past year attempting to rally the world behind his nation and appealing for greater levels of assistance.

Jake Sullivan, Biden's National Security Adviser worked behind the scenes to get the trip planned. Going into an active war zone with Russian military willing to strike anything in the air was really risky for Biden.

Biden’s public schedule didn’t reflect the trip, and White House officials repeatedly said last week that a visit to Ukraine was not in the works.

Biden only decided on Friday to go ahead with the visit after huddling with top members of his national security team in the Oval Office. A few hours before he departed, the United States informed Russia of the plans to visit the Ukrainian capital for “deconfliction purposes,” according to Sullivan.

Biden was presented with a range of options for a visit to Ukraine, but decided that a trip to Kyiv made the most sense, a source familiar with the matter said. As Biden was briefed over several months on the planning for a potential visit, the source said that Biden only once expressed concern about the risk of a visit to Ukraine – but that was about the extent to which his visit could endanger others, rather than about his own safety. Other officials were obviously extremely concerned about Biden’s own safety and prepared a series of security contingency plans.

On Saturday evening, before he departed, Biden went out to dinner with his wife in Washington. He wasn’t seen in public again until arriving in Kyiv on Monday morning.

Ukraine is an active war zone where the US military has no control, making Monday’s visit different from previous presidential trips to Iraq or Afghanistan. White House officials had repeatedly ruled out a visit earlier in the year.

The Friday session in the Oval Office was the culmination of months of work by a tiny handful of Biden’s top aides to plan the trip around the anniversary of the start of the war. The planning included the chief of staff’s office, the National Security Council and the White House Military Office, with input from a small number of officials at the US Secret Service, the Pentagon and the Intelligence Community, according to deputy national security adviser Jon Finer.

Biden was regularly briefed on the plans for the trip, including threat assessments, as the visit came together.

Discussions between the White House and the “highest levels of the Ukrainian government” helped bring the trip over the finish line.

“He was satisfied the risk was manageable,” Sullivan said.

“This was a risk that Joe Biden wanted to take,” said communications director Kate Bedingfield. “It’s important to him to show up, even when it’s hard, and he directed his team to make it happen no matter how challenging the logistics.”

Biden traveled with a relatively small entourage, including Sullivan, deputy chief of staff Jen O’Malley Dillon and personal aide Annie Tomasini.

Zelensky himself traveled to Washington in December to meet Biden in the Oval Office and speak to a joint session of Congress – his first trip outside Ukraine since the war began.

The Ukrainian leader invited Biden to visit Kyiv months ago, saying he believed it was important for the US leader to see the situation up close.

I know some here in the U.S. are going to attack Biden for being in Ukraine and not East Palestine, Ohio, the site of one of the country's most disastrous train derailments in history.

First things first, the federal government is on the ground and is working with Ohio's officials. Gov. Mike DeWine said Biden is offering everything the government can offer and if necessary, he would come.

Second, why come when all he is going to expect is "Let's Go Brandon" nonsense.

Third, if the president came to Ohio, the idiotic critics will say its a photo-op.

Lastly, Norfolk Southern and the company responsible for having the toxic chemicals are the responsible parties. It's not Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg's fault, it's not NTSB's fault, it's not the EPA's fault or the Democratic Party's fault.

Washed Up 45 is making a campaign stop in East Palestine to troll Biden. As he was the president from 2017 until 2021, during his term he rolled back the emergency break regulations that would have prevented trains from derailment.

Dollar General Growing!

Dollar General is expanding locations but not without controversy.

Walmart and Kroger are the largest retail grocers in the United States. When they leave a community, they leave an impact. Not only a ghost box store but within five miles, other businesses close up shop and it leaves food deserts and vacancy lots.

Tennessee based discount store, Dollar General is expanding and it moving into territories where major grocers left. The company is based in Goodlettsville, a suburb of Nashville.

There are nearly 20,000 stores in the U.S. and it seems like Dollar General will build or occupy old grocery and pharmacy properties. They are sprouting up like 7-Eleven locations.

They plan on opening up 1,100 stores this year alone. They will close their classic stores.

Classic stores are locations inside a shopping center or an insignificant structure location.

Many Dollar General stores are now offering produce, fresh meat and alcoholic beverages at some of their locations.

In Ohio, the State Auditor Keith Fabor and Attorney General Dave Yost have sued Dollar General for deceptive pricing at stores in Dayton, Columbus, Toledo and Cleveland.

Several locations are closing at least temporarily.

“[They] are shutting down to re-tag all their shelf prices — exactly the reason we sued them,” Yost wrote on Twitter. “Glad to see this first step — but we are going to insist on the court order to enforce continued compliance with Ohio’s market fairness laws.”

“Dollar General closed select stores this morning to address an overnight systems error,” a spokesperson wrote. “This issue has been resolved and all impacted stores are now open to continue serving our customers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

Yost’s lawsuit preceding the store closures focused on what he called deceptive pricing practices at Dollar General. With 12 different consumer complaints in hand, his office accused the company’s stores of listing items at a certain price on shelves, but sometimes charging more or double at the register. Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano took legal action of his own in December after Yost sued the month prior. His inspectors found pricing discrepancies at eight out of 10 stores checked, and placed stickers warning of overcharging on their cash registers.

The Dollar General corporate office and its legal team responded on Jan. 9 with a motion to dismiss the lawsuit from the state. Court records show Dollar General followed up with a repeated motion to dismiss on Thursday, and claimed the state showed no proof with its accusations. Further, the defense added that overcharging at its stores is actually legal.

Dayton is No. 2 city in the state for food deserts. Youngstown is the No. 1 city in the state for food deserts.

Drunk A** Lawmaker Ronny Jackson Still Acting Like He's The White House Physician!

We can say Ronny Jackson is on the sauce.

Two can play this game.

I am not a doctor, a criminologist or a counselor. I am a guy blogging about issues in my community, within the government and through the junk food media.

I don't know the president or this white nationalist lawmaker from Texas. But given his record of doing absolutely nothing and often making the news for doing something controversial, it gives me something to blog about.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) was once a good friend of former president Barack Obama and then vice president Joe Biden. He served as the White House Physician from 2013 until 2018. He was going to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs but withdrew after allegations of improper behavior. He has allegations of over prescribing medication, sexual predatory behavior and alcohol abuse.

He allegedly handed out Ambien, Provigil, and other prescription drugs "like they were candy".

CNN also reported that during an overseas trip in 2015, an intoxicated Jackson loudly knocked on a female employee's hotel room door so noisily that the Secret Service reportedly stopped him to prevent him potentially waking up Obama.

In response to the CNN story, ABC News reported that the Secret Service had no records of any incidents involving Jackson causing commotions at hotels in 2015 when Secret Service personnel were guarding Obama.

Washed Up 45 responded during a news conference the next day, calling Jackson "one of the finest people that I have met" but also hinting that Jackson might drop out, while blaming Democrats for mounting an unfair attack on his record. Since that, Jackson became one of the most loyal members of MAGA. He already endorses his 2024 campaign.

The former vice president is now our current president is dealing with numerous crises here and around the world. It is a stressful job and a thankless job when it comes to the critics of his policies.

The thing that keeps Jackson up all night is conspiracy theories about Biden's health.

Dr. Kevin O'Connor, physician to the current president, on Thursday issued a summary of Biden's health status following a "comprehensive review" of his medical history and "detailed physical examination" at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Ronny Jackson needs an ice cream cone.

O'Connor concluded that Biden "remains a healthy, vigorous, 80-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the [duties] of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief."

According to Jackson, it's a "cover up."

Biden, a self admitted stutter said that he has to learn ways to control his stuttering.

The physical notably included skin cancer surveillance, with one small lesion being removed from the president's chest and sent for a biopsy. It also included an "extremely detailed" and "reassuring" neurological exam that found no "cerebellar or central neurological disorder."

Jackson is pandering in Russian propaganda and white supremacy. The folks in North Texas voted for this moron.

Was he offering meds to the voters?

Mental Health Awareness!

Bruce Willis has dementia.

Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (Lifeline) at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or 988, or text the Crisis Text Line (text HELLO to 741741). Both services are free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The deaf and hard of hearing can contact the Lifeline via TTY at 1-800-799-4889. All calls are confidential. Contact social media outlets directly if you are concerned about a friend’s social media updates or dial 911 in an emergency. Learn more on the Lifeline’s website or the Crisis Text Line’s website.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) confirms he went to Walter Reed Medical Center to be treated for clinical depression. President Joe Biden had offered his support to the embattled senator.

"John, Gisele – Jill and I are thinking about your family today," Biden wrote in a tweet. "Millions of people struggle with depression every day, often in private. Getting the care you need is brave and important."

"We're grateful to you for leading by example,' the president added.

Reports later on Friday indicate that Fetterman may be in the hospital for several weeks as he receives treatment.

Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

Willis’ family, including ex-wife Demi Moore, said in a statement on Thursday that his aphasia diagnosis, which the family announced in March, had progressed to frontotemporal dementia. Willis is 67.

Frontotemporal dementia, or FTD, refers to a collection of disorders that primarily affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. The diseases that fall under this umbrella are neurodegenerative, meaning they get worse over time.
Generally, there are two subdiagnoses, according to Dr. Paul Barton Rosenberg, a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

"One is a behavioral variant, where people can have a change in their personality and lose their inhibitions and social graces," Rosenberg said. "Another is primary progressive aphasia, where people have trouble finding words or expressing themselves."

In their Thursday statement, the Willis family said that "unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces."

"While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis," the family wrote in its Instagram post, which was signed by the "Ladies of Willis.

The extreme right relentless harass John and Gisele Fetterman.

Don Lemon is iced after making a remark about the hypocrisy of Nimrata Randhawa (aka Nikki Haley) when she discussed race in America. Many saw her remarks as an insult to people like herself who an Indian American politician.

CNN has place Lemon on ice. The controversial CEO, Chris Licht had warned CNN workers that politics will be taking a backseat. He demands they take a stance without the click-bait noise he sees in its competitors.

The extreme right is mocking Fetterman for opening up about clinical depression. After having that stroke, he has to maintain a lifestyle that keeps him alive. It has been a long road to recovery for the Pennsylvania lawmaker. Stroke recovery often leads to depression and suicidal thoughts.

During the 2022 Midterms, Republicans and Fox were using Fetterman's stroke as a weapon to help boast Mehmet Oz, a decertified doctor to win the senate race.

Many of these agitators are not doctors but assume the president has dementia. It is another disgusting troupe aimed at older Americans. Hell, they are attacking former president Jimmy Carter while awaiting his passing.

Don Lemon has mental health issues. The extreme right has attack his race, sexuality and his politics. They want him fired for a Nikki Haley dig. Yet, they attack John Fetterman, President Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton without consequences.

Fox has used sexist, racist and homophobic troupes on their programs like it's nothing. I mean when Hillary Clinton ran, the same folks like Softball Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Clay Travis and Jesse Watters were saying she was too old, making up conspiracies about her mental health and acting like her email server was the biggest scandal over allowing 9/11 (George W. Bush) to happen or a epic failure of a coronavirus pandemic go so terribly wrong (Washed Up 45).

Lemon has. said far worse than this. However, criticizing a politician who repudiates her own name, her own heritage, dismissing racism and attacking a woman who shares her own heritage (Vice President Kamala Harris): she deserve the criticism.

Nimrata Randhawa Nikki Haley is well past her season. I don't take her a serious contender for president for the very fact she has to hide her heritage and name to gain attention from white nationalists.

I said it, what you gonna do about it?

Preparing For The End!

Jimmy Carter is preparing for the end.

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former presidents Donald J. Trump, Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, former vice presidents Mike Pence, Dick Cheney, Al Gore and Dan Quayle were informed about former president Jimmy Carter being admitted to hospice.

The former presidents and current will address his passing in the coming days.

Biden, 80 is the oldest living president who is currently serving as the 46th President of the United States. Trump was the previous holder and then Ronald Reagan.

The 39th President of the United States, James Earl Carter Jr. served from 1977 until 1981.

A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the 76th governor of Georgia from 1971 to 1975 and as a Georgia state senator from 1963 to 1967. Since leaving office, Carter has remained engaged in political and social projects, receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his humanitarian work.

He was dealt a major blow to his one term. Republicans upset over Gerald Ford being defeated, the rise of Roger Stone, Roger Ailes and Lee Atwater, inflation, the tension in the Middle East, culture wars and a Democratic Party challenger named Ted Kennedy.

All of this paved the way for Ronald Reagan and the conservative revolution.

He is the oldest living former president at the age of 98. Trump will be the oldest former living president, then George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

Carter will receive hospice care at home instead of treatment at the hospital, according to a social media message from The Carter Center.

While campaigning for Raphael Warnock and Stacey Abrams, President Joe Biden with First Lady Jill Biden paid former president Jimmy Carter and Roselyn a visit.

The Center, a charity created by Carter, said Saturday that the former president had experienced a series of short hospital stays before deciding to “spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention.”

In August 2015, Carter had a small cancerous mass removed from his liver. The following year, Carter announced that he needed no further treatment, as an experimental drug had eliminated any sign of cancer.

Carter celebrated his most recent birthday in October with family and friends in Plains, the tiny Georgia town where he and his wife, Rosalynn, were born in the years between World War I and the Great Depression.

Known for his Christian faith, Carter continued teaching Sunday School at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains well into his 90s.

The Carter Center, which the 39th president and the former first lady established after their one White House term, last year marked 40 years of promoting democracy and conflict resolution, monitoring elections, and advancing public health in the developing world.

A moment of solidarity. President-elect Barack Obama poses with then president George W. Bush, his father George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.

Born and raised in Plains, Georgia, Carter graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1946 with a Bachelor of Science degree and joined the United States Navy, serving on numerous submarines. After the death of his father in 1953, he left his naval career and returned home to Plains, where he assumed control of his family's peanut-growing business. He inherited little, due to his father's forgiveness of debts and the division of the estate amongst himself and his siblings. Nevertheless, his ambition to expand and grow the family's peanut farm was fulfilled. During this period, Carter was encouraged to oppose racial segregation and support the growing civil rights movement.

He became an activist within the Democratic Party. From 1963 to 1967, Carter served in the Georgia State Senate, and in 1970 was elected as governor of Georgia, defeating former Governor Carl Sanders in the Democratic primary. He remained in office until 1975. Despite being a dark-horse candidate who was not well known outside of Georgia, he won the 1976 Democratic presidential nomination. In the 1976 presidential election, Carter ran as an outsider and narrowly defeated incumbent Republican president Gerald Ford.

On his second day in office, Carter pardoned all Vietnam War draft evaders by issuing Proclamation 4483. During his term, two new cabinet-level departments—the Department of Energy and the Department of Education—were established. He created a national energy policy that included conservation, price control, and new technology. Carter pursued the Camp David Accords, the Panama Canal Treaties, and the second round of Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT II). On the economic front he confronted stagflation, a persistent combination of high inflation, high unemployment, and slow growth.

Then president Donald J. Trump greets Barack Obama at George H.W. Bush funeral. Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and future president Joe Biden were there.

The end of his presidency was marked by the 1979–1981 Iran hostage crisis, the 1979 energy crisis, the Three Mile Island nuclear accident, the Nicaraguan Revolution, and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. In response to the invasion, Carter escalated the Cold War when he ended détente, imposed a grain embargo against the Soviets, enunciated the Carter Doctrine, and led a 1980 Summer Olympics boycott in Moscow. He is the only president to have served a full term in office and not have appointed a justice to the Supreme Court.

In the 1980 Democratic Party presidential primaries, he was challenged by Senator Ted Kennedy, but won re-nomination at the 1980 Democratic National Convention. Carter lost the 1980 presidential election in an electoral landslide to Republican nominee Ronald Reagan. Polls of historians and political scientists generally rank Carter as a below-average president, although his post-presidential activities have been viewed more favorably than his presidency.

Washed Up 6nitch 9ine Caused Chaos In Cuba!

Washed up rapper in Russia.

Daniel Hernandez aka Takeshi 6ix 9ine is a broke rapper. He owes the federal government millions, he is on federal watch and the Bloods wants his head.

He is still facing lawsuits over his sexual predatory behavior and owes child support for his four children (two he claims).

His music isn't popular.

He joins Lil Pump, Lil Wayne, Jaheim, Ye, Forgito Blow, Ray J, Kodak Black, Ice Cube, Styles P, Joy Villa and Waka Flocka Flame in the never gonna sale cause y'all asses supported Washed Up 45.

Now he may face a permanent ban from entry to Cuba and a possible violation of his probation. The U.S. and Cuba are still in the embargo phase, a relic of the Cold War and Fidel Castro era. However, during the Obama years, he eased restrictions for U.S. citizens to visit Cuba. Many travelers are granted a special travel visa to enter the country.

The Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued general licenses for 12 categories of travel. Individuals who meet the regulatory conditions of the general license they seek to travel under do not need to apply for an additional license from OFAC to travel to Cuba. The 12 categories of authorized travel to Cuba are: family visits; official business of the U.S. government, foreign governments, and certain intergovernmental organizations; journalistic activity; professional research and professional meetings; educational activities; religious activities; public performances, clinics, workshops, athletic and other competitions, and exhibitions; support for the Cuban people; humanitarian projects; activities of private foundations or research or educational institutes; exportation, importation, or transmission of information or informational materials; and certain authorized export transactions.

A video circulating on social media shows the moment people started running towards the front of the hotel while what look like dollar bills can be seen floating in the air.

“Look, he threw money,” a Cuban man is heard saying in Spanish in the video. He later added “look at the Cuban people,” when more passersby joined the crowd. According to Cuban independent news outlet 14ymedio, the rapper started throwing the bills from a car in front of the hotel. Other outlets reported that he threw the bills from a hotel window. While condemning the act and calling it “shameful,” Cuban official outlet Cubadebate also remained open to the possibility that someone impersonating the musician might have been to blame.

Shouting for the moolah.

On Friday, the rapper published an Instagram story suggesting the money might not have even been real. He shared a video of a man saying, “I ain’t go no money, that money you be seeing me with on Instagrams that be fake money, props.”

In any case, Cuban authorities do not seem to have liked the stunt, as the Cubadebate article suggests. Their readers left several comments criticizing the gesture of throwing money — common among rappers — as “humiliating” to the Cuban people.

Hernandez, 26, a New York rapper of Mexican heritage, was sentenced to two years in prison in the U.S. in 2019 for crimes he committed while he was a member of a violent gang. He was charged with conspiracy to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, racketeering and carrying a firearm. He faced several years in prison but accepted a plea and cooperated with U.S. authorities to get a reduced sentence.

It is unclear which license if any the rapper is using to visit Havana. Tourism to Cuba is still prohibited, but the Biden administration again allowed group travel to the island under the “people-to-people” educational travel category. U.S. travel agencies can organize tours to take Americans to Cuba, but they must include cultural and educational activities.

On his two Instagram pages, Hernandez has posted videos working out in Havana and running along the Malecon seaside promenade, hanging out at the hotel pool and looking at the multitude of fans in the street through his hotel window.
