President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden head to the U.S. Virgin Islands for the rest of his vacation. They vacation on the island of St. Croix. The president usually spent his holidays at home in Delaware. This is the first vacation Biden took. 

The far right minions of Fox, the Republicans and online trolls balk.

Biden goes to the one U.S. jurisdiction that has motorists drive on the left side of the road.

The majority of the U.S. territory's population of 149,000 residents are Black Caribbean.

The Bidens were joined by their daughter Ashley and her husband, Howard Krein, as well as grandchildren Natalie and Hunter, whose father was the president's late son, Beau.

St. Croix is a tropical getaway that Mr. Biden has been getting away to at least since he was vice president, from 2009 to 2017.

This would be considered Ashley and Howard's honeymoon.

The far right is still obsessing over disinformation. They claim in Ashley's diary she showered with Biden when she was young. Again, this is unverified and it was the subject of a organized campaign by ACORN Pimp James O'Keefe and the Russian Federation to sow discourse about Biden and amplify Washed Up 45. The people in possession of Ashley's diary was later arrested. Aimee Harris and Robert Kurlander pleaded guilty in federal court for theft of property and deception.

Of course, the noise is complaining about him not visiting the U.S.-Mexican border, the monster blizzard in Buffalo which killed 60 people and Hunter Biden's laptop.

Biden declared a federal disaster decree and is in contact with New York Gov. Kathy Hochul. Travel to Buffalo was prohibited the moment snowfall totalled 3 feet. Interstate were impassible. Do you actually want time and resources spent on the president visiting Buffalo at a point where roads are dangerous.

Greg Abbott sent migrants to Washington, DC in another ridiculous stunt to drive attention to the border. He sent 50 migrants with no place to go to the Naval Observatory. That is the residence of Vice President Kamala Harris who also stated they're is no reason to go to the border for a photo op.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), an ineffective senator stated that Biden need to get his fucking ass down to the border.

In a 5-4 decision, the white nationalist and Black coonservative justicea ordered an immediate stay of Title 42, a controversial decree by Washed Up 45 to keep migrants in Mexico due to a public health emergency (the very coronavirus pandemic they oppose). Republicans state attorney generals called upon this.

Hunter Biden's laptop is a disinformation campaign by the Republicans and Russia Federation to sow discourse against Biden and amplify Washed Up 45. Twitter and Facebook policy stated that stolen information from private citizens is a violation of terms. Elon Musk and many far right idiots are complaining about Twitter censoring the New York Post story two weeks before the election. Hunter is a private citizen. In 2019, Rudy Giuliani went to Ukraine to meet with an operative who had ties to the Russians.

In 2020, a legally blind computer repair man had Hunter's laptop. He claimed he left it in the store for a long time. Instead of deleting the information or contacting the owner, he gives it to Giuliani and Steve Bannon. The FBI has looked into the matter and considered it a possible disinformation campaign and it has Bannon and Giuliani under federal watch. Bannon was found guilty of contempt of Congress and faces up to two years in federal time out.

Read the shirt conservatives. Hopefully Biden will push for voting rights for all citizens of the U.S. territories. The U.S. Virgin Islands and four other occupied territories can not vote for president.

The president spent the holidays at his home in Delaware in 2020 and 2021, mostly because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This week's visit to St. Croix will be his first as president to the U.S. Virgin Islands.

"We're tremendously honored," Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI), a delegate who represents the Virgin Islands in Congress, said in a telephone interview Tuesday.

Biden was scheduled to return to Washington on Jan. 2. That's the day before the president's Democratic Party cedes control of the House of Representatives to the Republican Party following the November midterm elections, potentially complicating Biden's legislative agenda for the remaining two years of his term.

He vows to fight against the House Republicans who are ignoring the promises of bringing down inflation, solving problems and effective governance. They vow to investigate Hunter Biden, Twitter and Facebook blocking conspiracy theories and conservative propaganda, Hillary Clinton and possibly the Tara Reade allegation. They will push for an abortion ban, transgender women ban on sports, a ban on critical race theory, a border wall, a Muslim ban and numerous other noise making issues.

Issues like the attack on the U.S. Capitol and the former president stealing classified documents is not on their agenda.

Orlando Brown Keeps His Life In Turmoil!

Troubled entertainer arrested in Lima, Ohio.

Washed up actor Orlando Brown was arrested in Lima, Ohio over the weekend for assault.

Brown who was a former child actor who appeared in numerous TV shows and movies is now a mentally ill man who is homeless and addicted to drugs.

Brown has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor assault charges stemming from an alleged altercation in Lima, Ohio.

According to Allen County Sheriff’s Office records, the 35-year-old Brown was taken into custody Thursday morning and held on a $25,000 bond. He was arraigned Friday in Lima Municipal Court and charged with aggravated menacing, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Police told the Times that they had been summoned to a home and witnessed a verbal argument they feared could turn violent.

The Times said an attorney had not yet been assigned to represent Brown.

Brown, best known for the Disney Channel series “That’s So Raven,” has had numerous legal and other personal troubles, including charges of domestic battery, resisting arrest and drug possession.

He has been in out of medical and rehabilitation facilities. In 2018 he reached out for help to Dr. Phil McGraw, who brought him onto his television show to discuss Brown’s struggles.

A hefty fine will finally end this noise.

Washed up politician Kari Lake is warned about sanctions and fines if she does not end her relentless quest to overturn the results of the Arizona governor's race.

Maricopa County filed a motion on Monday for sanctions against Lake. The motion was joined later on Monday by Arizona’s Governor-elect Katie Hobbs (D), who defeated Lake and is now seeking “attorney’s fees and expenses, requesting about $37,000 paid as a sanction,” according to local reports.

Lake deleted a tweet attacking Maricopa County Judge Peter Thompson. Lake tweeted, “The Dismissal of Kari Lake’s Election Lawsuit Shows Voter Disenfranchisement No Longer Matters @Rach_IC: ‘Legal experts believe his decision [by Judge Thompson] was ghostwritten, they suspect top left-wing attorneys like Marc Elias emailed him what to say.’”

Judge Thompson ruled on Dec. 24th in against Lake’s filing that the 2022 election had been tampered with. Local media reported that “Thompson found that the court did not have any clear evidence of widespread misconduct that could have impacted the results of the 2022 midterm election.”

Moving forward.

“During a two-day trial, Lake’s team focused on ballot printer issues in Maricopa County, asking the judge to declare her governor or order a re-vote in the county,” added the report. Lake has vowed to appeal the ruling.

Sanctions would be in the form of a financial penalty imposed by a judge for violation of a court rule or misconduct.

Lake targeted Gov-Elect Hobbs, currently Arizona’s secretary of state, along with top officials in Maricopa county. The Republican’s suit claimed “hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots infected the election” in the state’s most populous county.

In a separate filing, Hobbs asked the superior court in Maricopa county to award her more than $600,000 to compensate for fees and expenses accrued in defending Lake’s lawsuit.

Santos, a Republican candidate who lost in a previous election got it this time. He represents the 3rd Congressional District in New York which covers pats of Long Island. The District is Democratic leaning and yet, the constituents don't seem to care.

Oh by the way, Sean "Softball" Hannity resides in this district. The annoying media personality lives in Lloyd Harbor, New York.

Santos won the district after moderate lawmaker Thomas Suozzi gave up his seat to run for governor and the candidate Robert Zimmerman.

Both Santos and Zimmerman are gay. However, Santos which The North Shore Leader called a "fabulist" won by eight points flipping the district President Joe Biden carried by nine points.

So far he's already attracted controversy. The New York Times revealed that significant parts of his biography were fabricated. He lied about his education, his employment history, involvement in political and charitable organizations and property ownership. He also married to a woman before he came out as gay. He lied about his family history. He claimed that his mother's parents were Ukrainian Jews who moved to Brazil. Records show that she was not Jewish nore Ukrainian. He also committed check fraud while living in Brazil.

He admitted to lying to the voters but he will not step down.

He is the first Brazilian American to be elected to Congress. He is the first openly gay Republican elected to office. 

He was recently spotted at the Young New York Republicans gathering. White nationalist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) once again out of her district spoke and greeted numerous extremists.

Some people believe that the safety net is making people lazy. And this is the stuff I've heard from people who think that it will never happen to them. They get their arousal over a person using an EBT card to pay for name brand items or expensive food.

With the rising food and gas prices, people are turning to food stamps, food banks and government assistance to keep themselves from landing in the homeless shelter.

Without a safety net, these people will rob and kill those who have the luxuries of having food in the refrigerator or in the pantry. They would steal fuel, water, bread and meat to keep feeding their families. And yet, these Republicans and their conservative allies are thinking the poor are the reasons for the economic recession. Perhaps those who complain about the poor, should walk a day in that person's shoes!

She was an active Twitter troll with 11.3 thousand followers with Scott Baio, a washed up actor who is an alleged sexual predator. She was a devoted follower of Washed Up 45 and QAnon.

She was also a critic of Americans using the safety net.

She posted on Twitter that someone bought over $600 worth of meat from Costco with a EBT card. She slammed the person who left their receipt.

They want to control what you eat. By cutting food stamps and regulating food content, they want you to stay committed to foods that are deemed unhealthy. They want to pull back regulations and allow contaminants into the food and water supply.

They want to control what you want to do for luxury. So if you want to smoke e-cigarettes they'll ban you from doing those. You want to bring a computer on an airplane, you can't do it. But if you want to stockpile firearms and explosives, go for it. You want to own semi automatic firearms? Go for it! They have ratings on adult magazines, video games, music and television but don't put ratings on talk radio or opinion talk shows. Cars, motorcycles, buses, trains, airplanes have regulations but not firearms.

They want to control when you want to have sex. They want to outlaw a woman's right to sell her body for sex. They want to ban same sex couples from adopting children or removing biological children from homes of same sex couples. They want to tell young children when it's right to have sex. They want to outlaw adult-orientated porn.

They want to control a woman's right to choice. A woman who doesn't want children or is raped by a sexaul predator is forced to have a child. States and federal governments want to close the window of conception to force women to endure dangerous pregnancies.

They want to force religion into your schools, government buildings and workplace. They want to force Christianity in schools. They ridicule Islam. They don't want agnostic or atheists working in government and they want you say not kneel to the American flag. They want to ban books. They want to avoid critical race theory. They want to still honor people who harmed America in statues, roads and buildings.

They want you to pledge allegiance to foreign countries like Israel and Russia. They want you to sign loyalty oaths, block financial assistance and entry into the United States if you support terrorists or countries that oppose American influence. Republicans Vow To Keep Kevin From The Gavel!

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) part of the do nothing but wreak havoc caucus is fuming over Congress passing the omnibus which funds the government until October 2023. The Republicans continue to push for more government shutdowns and insidious cuts to social programs.

Gaetz who represents the western panhandle of Florida which includes Pensacola is an alleged sexual predator and is under federal watch for possible human trafficking and illegal sexual contact with an underage girl.

Gaetz, Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC), Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT), Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) vehemently opposes Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and his bid to be Speaker of the House.

They insist there are more in their cohort, silently waiting to make a display of their vote on Jan. 3. Other House Republicans have openly suggested their votes are up in the air while waiting to see if McCarthy meets their demands for procedural rule changes.

Members from the House Freedom Caucus in particular have been pushing McCarthy to agree to a set of rules that would shift power away from leadership and place it in the hands of rank-and-file members. The demands range from procedural maneuvers, like allowing for more amendments, to outright giving members a mechanism to force a vote to remove a sitting speaker. Other far-right members have floated ideas like impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as a sort of litmus test to see how far McCarthy is willing to go.

It has sparked a feud with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). Greene called Boebert and Gaetz traitors to Washed Up 45. She said that they're not backing the former president and are willing to back "establishment" Ron DeSantis over a guy who helped them win.

Greene is a white nationalist who peddle in conspiracy theories.

Republicans feud with one another. Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) struggles to get full support.

She is right now in Costa Rica. She did a proxy vote to oppose the omnibus and did not appear at the Joint Session of Congress when Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke to the nation.

Greene who was stripped of her committees in 2021 will back McCarthy now that he will give her committee assignments while threatening to strip Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) of theirs.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), an avowed white nationalist also lost his committee assignments. 

Gosar has not mentioned his support of McCarthy. However he will get his assignments back.

McCarthy has guaranteed some semblance of change in the new House. He’s promised members will have more of a say in policymaking and to ax pandemic-era practices like proxy voting, which has run rampant over the past year. But he’s largely stopped short of ensuring these Republicans the sort of sweeping change they’re asking for.

Those members are growing antsy.

I want the Republicans to fail. Keeping them fighting with one another will assure they will get nothing done and their reign in power will be short.

Meek Mill Gave 20 Women A Dream Chasing Holiday!

Meek Mill is a rapper, producer and activist. He was once part of Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group from 2007 until 2021. He left the label and is pursuing his own growth through independence.

He became an advocate for prison reform and sentencing reform in the wake of his own time in the iron college.

Mill has paid bail for 20 women so that they can spend the holidays at home, according to the REFORM Alliance, an organization he launched in 2019 alongside Jay-Z.

The women were incarcerated at Riverside Correctional Facility in Philadelphia and were unable to afford bail, according to an Instagram post from the REFORM Alliance.

Five of the women were released on Saturday, and 15 more will be released in the coming week, says the nonprofit. Each woman will also receive a gift card “to purchase groceries or gifts for the holidays.”

Meek Mill said the donation was informed by his own personal experience with the criminal justice system.

“It was devastating for me to be away from my son during the holidays when I was incarcerated, so I understand what these women and their families are going through,” said the rapper in another Instagram post from the REFORM Alliance.

Meek Mill launched the REFORM Alliance in 2019 alongside a cadre of other sports and business leaders. The organization “aims to transform probation and parole by changing laws, systems and culture to create real pathways to work and wellbeing” according to its website.

The Philadelphia native has been a vocal advocate for criminal justice reforms. An explosive social media movement called #FreeMeekMill started after he was sentenced to two to four years in prison in 2017 for a parole violation. He was freed after spending five months in prison for the violation.

There were a total of 4,546 people incarcerated in Philadelphia prisons as of November 2022, according to data from the Philadelphia government. Around 6.4% of that group are women.

Abbott Back To Shipping Migrants!

Texas governor Greg Abbott shipped migrants to Washington, DC near Vice President Kamala Harris' residence at the Naval Observatory on Christmas Eve.

It was reported that 50 migrants were bussed to Washington and let off with no coats, no food and no family members who could contact them.

The Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network was there to take all three busloads of people to a church, to help provide them with necessary resources and welcome them to the country.

"This is a welcome effort that we've been doing since the first bus arrived," said Amy Fischer, a core organizer with the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network. "D.C. just continues to show up as a welcoming city that is always ready and willing to open their arms to welcome people, whether it's Christmas Eve, whether it's 9 degrees outside or 90 degrees outside."

The racism and xenophobia from Republicans is ridiculous.

Fischer said this latest drop-off was a political stunt by Abbott, using people as pawns.

“It really does show the cruelty behind Gov. Abbott and his insistence on continuing to bus people here without care about people arriving late at night on Christmas Eve when the weather is so cold. People are getting off the buses, they don’t have coats, they don’t have clothes for this kind of weather, and they’re freezing," Fischer said.

With Title 42, Washed Up 45 declared an emergency halt of border crossings citing the spread of the coronavirus. Yet, in the same breathe, the Republicans want all mandates removed and halted.

President Joe Biden had promised to end the controversial decision as he unofficially declared an end to the pandemic. The Republicans sued and got an emergency hearing at the Supreme Court.

Chief Justice John Roberts granted a temporary stay of Title 42 and will likely expire at the end of the year.

Abbott along with Florida's Ron DeSantis are amping up their migrant drop offs. 

Outgoing Arizona governor Doug Ducey has put an end to the shipping and also will remove shipping containers around Douglas Nogales and Yuma. He could not placed them around reservations due to their sovereignty.

Individuals and families attempting to enter without authorization are being expelled, as required by court order under the Title 42 public health authority, or placed into removal proceedings. As temperatures remain dangerously low all along the border, no one should put their lives in the hands of smugglers, or risk life and limb attempting to cross only to be returned.

Regardless of nationality, anyone attempting to enter without authorization is subject to expulsion under Title 42. Those who cannot be expelled pursuant to Title 42 may be placed in expedited removal and anyone ordered removed subject to a bar on entry for 5 years under Title 8. Venezuelans attempting to enter the United States between ports of entry also continue to be returned to Mexico, and will be barred from the Venezuela Migration Enforcement Process announced in October.

DHS continues to lead a whole of government strategy to secure the borders and build safe, orderly, and humane immigration processes. There are 23,000 agents and officers working to secure the Southwest border and the United States Government continues to work closely with our partners in Mexico to reinforce coordinated enforcement operations to target human smuggling organizations and bring them to justice. That collaboration includes migration checkpoints, additional resources and personnel, joint targeting of human smuggling organizations, and expanded information sharing related to transit nodes, hotels, stash houses, and staging locations.

Again, we must acknowledge that many aren’t getting an opportunity to spend time with their families. Many may never see their loved ones ever again with this pandemic killing 10 every minute.

 

As of Christmas, 1.06 million Americans are dead from the coronavirus.

By the end of the month, we will have more Americans dead from the coronavirus and gun violence. It's unfortunate that we have the Republican Party, Washed Up 45, Fox and social media to thank for the massive loss of lives.

I mean this year was frustrating as like many in the past. I thought we would get through this together. Alas, we are still fighting culture wars. 

Full disclosure: I lost a job I loved and now working two jobs to make ends meet. I am not a conservative but I have become less progressive on issues like unions and sympathy.

When I get older, I will say to my grandchildren, I survived the global pandemic. We had a president who actually knows how to govern. He is never thanked for the results and his critics are often pivoting because they know he is effective. We have a president who is taking governing seriously only to have millions of Americans still stuck on stupid.

I miss seeing my son. Holidays don't suck but it would be nice to have a Christmas without the strings attached.

My son is biracial. I found out he existed on Dec. 7, 2016. He was born in August. I still deal with the PTSD from missing out my first child’s birth. There’s nothing worse than to find out you had a “surprise child” from a blind date.

It happens to the best and the worst of us.

I will move forward because I value everything. I won't let setbacks stop me. 

My time will come and successes are looking bright next year.

Drowning In A Lake!

Disgraced former news reporter Kari Lake loses her appeal in Arizona courts.

The Republican candidate for governor was defeated by Gov-elect Katie Hobbs, the outgoing Secretary of State in a nail-biter. Lake, endorsed by Washed Up 45 was one of the most high profile endorsements to lose.

Lake, a former progressive turned MAGA extremist is a huge election denier. Instead of conceding, she stoked the flames of a possible insurrection. 

Arizona courts reject Lake's claims that voters who supported her were denied.

In a decision Saturday, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson, who was appointed by then-Republican Gov. Jan Brewer, found that the court did not find clear and convincing evidence of the widespread misconduct that Lake had alleged had affected the result of the 2022 general election.

The judge rejected Lake's claim that problems with ballot printers at some polling places on Election Day were the result of intentional misconduct.

The judge said Lake’s witnesses didn’t have any personal knowledge of intentional misconduct.

"The Court cannot accept speculation or conjecture in place of clear and convincing evidence," Thompson said.

In the ruling, the judge acknowledged the "anger and frustration" of voters who were inconvenienced in the election but noted that setting aside the results of an election "has never been done in the history of the United States."

Lawyers for Lake focused on problems with ballot printers at several polling places in Maricopa County, home to more than 60% of Arizona’s voters. The defective printers produced ballots that were too light to be read by the on-site tabulators at polling places. Lines backed up in some areas amid the confusion.

Lake’s attorneys also claimed the chain of custody for ballots was broken at an off-site facility, where a contractor scans mail ballots to prepare them for processing. They claim workers at the facility put their own mail ballots into the pile, rather than sending their ballots through normal channels, and also that paperwork documenting the transfer of ballots was missing. The county disputes the claim.

In a tweet following the ruling, Lake said she will file an appeal.

"My Election Case provided the world with evidence that proves our elections are run outside of the law," Lake tweeted. "This Judge did not rule in our favor. However, for the sake of restoring faith and honesty in our elections, I will appeal his ruling."

Chick-fil-A Owes Up Teen Workers!

Chick-fil-A pays the price for unfair labor.

A North Carolina Chick-fil-A was fined for violating labor laws. They made workers under 18 years old operate dangerous equipment without proper training. What they got as payment was a free meal.

A Hendersonsville  restaurant was fined $6,450 for paying workers with meals instead of money and violating child labor laws, the Department of Labor has announced.

An investigation by the DOL found that at a Chick-fil-A in Hendersonville, N.C., three employees under 18 were assigned hazardous tasks, such as operating, loading and unloading the trash compactor.

"Protecting our youngest workers continues to be a top priority for the Wage and Hour Division," said Richard Blaylock, the district director for the department's Raleigh, North Carolina's Wage and Hour Division. "Child labor laws ensure that when young people work, the work does not jeopardize their health, well-being or educational opportunities. In addition, employers are responsible to pay workers for all of the hours worked and the payment must be made in cash or legal tender."

Additionally, several employees at the location were given tasks like directing drive-thru traffic and were given meal vouchers in exchange, which is a violation of minimum wage standards set by the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Seven employees are owed $235 in back wages, the department said.

In August, a Tampa, Florida, location was fined $12,478 after the agency found that 17 workers between ages 14 and 15 were working past 7 p.m. and more than three hours on school days.
