So the Benjamin Carson Midtown High School of Science and Medicine is renamed Crockett Midtown School of Science and Medicine. It was a decision approved by the Detroit School Board.
Carson is the Detroit neurosurgeon-turned-politician who endorsed the business mogul, former reality tv star and conspiracy theorist in 2016 after ending his own presidential campaign. He served as secretary of housing and urban development from 2017 to 2021, during which his agency rolled back federal efforts to fight housing discrimination.

Board member Sherry Gay-Dagnogo said that she has “received so many requests” from community members about Ben Carson’s name based on “many of the disparaging remarks he made from the administration that he clings to.”
She said she asked the board to renew the name change process at Carson so that “we don’t have a direct affiliation with that mindset, especially as it relates to people with challenges, housing needs, etc.”
The name is dedicated to Ethelene Jones Crockett. She was an American physician and activist from Detroit. She was Michigan's first African-American female board certified OB/GYN, and the first woman to be president of the American Lung Association. In 1988, Crockett was inducted posthumously into the Michigan Women's Hall of Fame.
Carson reacted to his name being removed.
"It's very sad that we've reached the point where political ideology trumps the whole purpose of an educational institution," Carson said on Sean "Softball" Hannity's night time bullshit.
"And we're seeing this wokeness spreading throughout our community to the destruction of our community. How does it do any good for us to demonize people with whom we disagree and to teach that to our children at a time when the math scores are down, the reading scores are down; academic performance is down?"

Jordan is also one of 49 members in the conference who do nothing.
He is one of the laziest members in Congress. He never is in his district. He appears on television and radio way too much. He spends too much time on social media. He is a conspiracy theorist. He was involved in the Jan. 6 attack. He has pushed for impeachment Homeland Security secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Biden. He has racially charged rhetoric. He and Rep. James Comer (R-KY) will investigate Hunter Biden instead of the Jan. 6 attack. Jordan claimed the left is obsessed with Jan. 6 yet he is planning on wasting taxpayer money on investigating a private citizen.
He is clearly out of touch with America.
However, he still wins in double digits because Ohio Republicans illegally redistricted the Ohio congressional map and went clearly against a voter approved amendment that required fair redistricting.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is emboldened now that the Republicans won control of the House of Representatives. She lied under oath about being a conspiracy theorist.
She lied about serving the needs of her constituents. She barely does anything in the 14th Congressional District. She spends more time on television, doing podcasts, appearing at Washed Up 45 rallies, going to events outside her state and constantly trolls on the internet.

Speaking outside her district, Greene went to the New York Young Republican Club to say that if Jan. 6 attack was planned by her and Steve Bannon, "we would of won."

“I come to Washington, I swear in on January 3, I get accused of giving insurrection tours which I thought was hilarious because I couldn’t even find the bathroom in the Capitol. True story,” Greene, a Georgia Republican, said while speaking at an event by the New York Young Republican Club, according to video posted by the Twitter user @patriottakes. “Then January 6 happens, and next thing you know, I organized the whole thing along with Steve Bannon here. And I gotta tell you something: If Steve Bannon and I had organized that, we would have won. Not to mention, it would have been armed. Yeah. See, that’s the whole joke isn’t it?”
Greene continued, “They say that whole thing was planned and I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ A bunch of conservatives, Second Amendment supporters went in the Capitol without guns and they think we organized that? I don’t think so.”
Of course, it got the attention of the White House.
The White House on Monday condemned Greene’s comments, calling it “violent rhetoric” and a “slap in the face” to law enforcement and families who lost loved ones defending the US Capitol that day.
“It goes against our fundamental values as a country for a Member of Congress to wish that the carnage of January 6th had been even worse, and to boast that she would have succeeded in an armed insurrection against the United States government,” White House spokesman Andrew Bates said.
Greene fired back saying her remarks were "sarcastic" and she blamed President Joe Biden and Democrats for twisting her words.
Greene is expected to get a committee assignment while, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) are facing the possibility of having their committees stripped. Republicans also vow to impeach Biden over Hunter Biden.
Greene also is pushing for investigations into Twitter. In 2020, Twitter had the U.S. Justice Department warn them that the Hunter Biden laptop story is possible disinformation fro. Russia and said that the story must be taken with caution. The Republicans blame Biden for actions that happened under former Attorney General William Barr who was appointed by Washed Up 45.
Greene is a worthless member of the House of Representatives. I wished people would point that out whenever they discuss her antics.
Over two weeks ago, a white terrorist shot and killed five people inside a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs. The city had many mass shootings in the past.
The city is relatively conservative.
Comedian and actor Mark Curry had an experience in the city. Curry records two men who he says approached him while he was sitting in a hotel lobby in The Mining Exchange A Wyndham Grand Hotel & Spa in Colorado Springs.
One of the men, who is white, was not displaying any identification but claimed he was an employee at the hotel and repeatedly asked Curry if he was a guest there. The other man, who was of color, claimed Curry was trying to pull “the race card” — a quip that prompted Curry to call that person an “Uncle Tom.”
Curry did not answer the question being repeatedly asked of him likely in an effort to make an example of what he called “racism.”
The video lasts 26 minutes and was filmed all because of a “Black man and a Hotel Lobby,” Curry wrote on his Instagram post, suggesting the purported hotel employees thought “it’s impossible that he has a room here.”
He expressed a similar sentiment in the video by saying to his hundreds of thousands of followers: “If you’re Black and you’re in Colorado Springs, you can’t be in the lobby. Wow! This is crazy, isn’t it?”
When Curry tried to use the restroom in the lobby, he was physically blocked from entering.
When the two men were joined by other employees, Curry said he felt “threatened.”
Later, the hotel manager issued a quasi-apology for the way hotel employees treated a patron and insisted employees would be retrained, presumably in the arena of implicit bias.
“We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all guests and employees. We deeply regret this incident and have reached out to Mr. Curry to offer not only our sincere apologies but a full refund of his stay and an invitation to return, at no cost, anytime in the future,” Neil Cramm said in a statement to the Colorado Springs Indy, a local news outlet. “As a respected community partner, we are also using this opportunity to revisit training with our staff, helping to ensure all interactions are reflective of our company values. The Mining Exchange plays a special role in the Colorado Springs community and we will continue working each and every day to ensure that our hotel remains a space that is open and welcoming to all.”

Musk's on Monday shared his recollection of the audience's reaction.

The Antioch, California Police confirmed that this Black extremist sucker punched a woman so hard it literally blinded her. The incident happened at a fast food restaurant and the suspect was arrested. It happened in November and the suspect was caught weeks later.

Bianca Palomera confronted a man who was directly harassing a man with special disabilities. They had a brief argument and out of nowhere he served her.
When she recovered, she noticed blood covering from her eye and cheek. They rushed to the hospital to perform emergency surgery but could not save her right eye.
“He punched me once, and my headset and my glasses went flying off my face,” she told the local junk food media. “He was throwing threats and slurs saying that he was going to ‘beat him up,’ ‘why does he keep looking his way?’ That’s when I step in and I said ‘it’s not right what you’re doing.'”
Surveillance footage of the assault showed the initial punch knock Palomera back onto a bench. She tried to fight back and took a swing at the assailant, but the suspect appeared to land several more punches to the victim’s head before several onlookers and other employees stepped in. The suspect fled.
Bianca said that she regrets losing her eye but doesn't regret helping a person who was bullied.
“I don’t really know what to think. I think I’m still processing it,” she said. “This is probably the last thing that I would’ve expected out of anything, but I don’t fully regret, you know, helping, stepping in. It could’ve been worse for my coworker’s brother.”
He will be criminally charged with felonious assault and malicious mayhem with dangerous intent. The victim has defigurating injuries which require therapy and has post-traumatic stress from the situation.
The suspect pled not guilty. He will be facing up to 20 years in the iron college if convicted.
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A Christmas parade in Bowling Green, Kentucky, was canceled on Saturday after potential threats were made against planned protesters, according to law enforcement officials.
Civil rights organizations held a "Justice for Emmett Till" protest at the Justice Center and at an apartment at Shive Lane, where Bryant Donham lived, Warren County Sheriff Brett Hightower told ABC News.
The old woman finally was found to be living in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The Bowling Green Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff's Office said in a video on Facebook on Saturday that they learned of threats made against the groups and are currently working alongside the FBI and Homeland Security to investigate the reported threats.
"The specific threat is threatening to shoot anyone who is protesting and anyone who is helping the protesters," Sheriff Hightower said in the video. "We have not been able to determine the validity of this threat."
Hightower said that around 20 to 25 people showed up, some armed, to protest at both sites around noon, local time. The protests were peaceful, the sheriff said.
Jaycee Christmas Parade organizers canceled their plans for the parade hours before its scheduled start.

"Out of an abundance of caution, we are canceling today's parade. The safety of our participants and spectators is ALWAYS [our] main focus," organizers wrote on Facebook early Saturday morning. "We have been in constant communication with law enforcement and have felt, all week, that we could provide a safe, fun event. With this latest information, we knew that postponing was our best option."
SoKY Marketplace's Mistletoe Market, also in Bowling Green, was canceled because of the protests, it announced on Facebook.
The Bowling Green Police Department did not immediately respond to ABC News’ request for comment.
The protests come months after a grand jury in Leflore County, Mississippi, decided not to indict Bryant Donham for her involvement in Till's death, citing insufficient evidence.
The American voter (I meant, partisan gerrymandering) gave the Republicans control of the House of Representatives. They have a ten seat majority and the party won on the noise of inflation, crime and border security. So as we approach January, we are reminded that the talk about the border has decreased on Fox. Crime is still happening in the country. Mass shootings are everywhere. Inflation is slowly declining.

They are throwing up their faux patriotism for Paul Whelan, a security specialist who was arrested for espionage. He was a discharged Marine who is spent five years in a Russian penal colony. Washed Up 45 was in charge then and not one Republican at the time was pushing for his release.

The white nationalist decided to troll Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) by making a claim she literally threw away the American flag in the trash can. The noise immediately went into bonkers mode. She is one of the longest serving Black lawmakers in Congress.
She is a progressive and advocate for women's rights and civil rights.
How can she disrespect the American flag?
As you voted against certifying the 2020 election results *after* January 6th, it is not surprising that you would take to Twitter to parrot yet another big lie. Let’s talk about it:
If the only information you had at the time was the view of a flag in a bin labeled “trash”, this was a mistake by the house movers that should have been kindly pointed out to them to be corrected.
