The jury reached its decision and it will send ripples across the nation. The white man who traveled from Illinois to "protect" Kenosha during the unrest after Jacob Blake was shot and injured by a police shooting is not guilty. The shooter is a free man.
The world sees white privilege in this photo.
However, the nation is torn. Black men are pissed. Jacob Blake was shot seven times and left paralyzed by a white cop. A white man who went to Kenosha to start trouble shoots and kills and is free to go home and be the Proud Boy he's always been.
President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Congress, Gov. Tom Evers and the city of Kenosha reacted to it. Some are bracing for unrest and retaliation.
The jury delivered the verdict shortly after 1pm.
The shooter killed Joseph Rosenbaum who was unarmed, Anthony Huber who was unarmed and Gaige Grosskreutz, who was armed but didn't shot the shooter.
The judge was a disgraceful piece of shit.
The judge and this white man will be marked.
The white man began to choke up, fell forward toward the defense table and then hugged one of his attorneys as he heard a court clerk recite “not guilty” five times. His mother, seated nearby on a courtroom bench, gasped in delight, cried and hugged others around her.
Gaige Grosskreutz, Anthony Huber and Michael Rosenbaum got no justice.
A sheriff’s deputy immediately whisked him out a back door.
“He wants to get on with his life,” defense attorney Mark Richards said. “He has a huge sense of relief for what the jury did to him today. He wishes none of this ever happened. But as he said when he testified, he did not start this.”
He said the white man, who wants to be a nurse, is in counseling for post traumatic stress disorder and will probably move away because “it’s too dangerous” for him to continue to live in the area.
The white man who wanted to be a police officer said he went to Kenosha to protect property from rioters. He is white, as were those he shot.
The anonymous jury, whose racial makeup was not disclosed by the court but appeared to be overwhelmingly white, deliberated for close to 3 1/2 days.
The shooter could have gotten life in prison if found guilty on the most serious charge, first-degree intentional homicide, or what some other states call first-degree murder. Two other charges each carried over 60 years behind bars.
Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley said his office respects the jury’s decision, and he asked the public to “accept the verdicts peacefully and not resort to violence.”
Jacob Blake and many others are outraged over the decision. Blake was shot in the back and left permanently paralyzed. The cop who shot him walked.
Evers, who announced last week that 500 National Guard members stood ready in case of trouble after the verdict, likewise pleaded for calm.
As he dismissed the jurors who sat in judgment in the politically combustible case, Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder assured them the court would take “every measure” to keep them safe.
The shootings exposed a deep divide in the U.S., with some Americans condemning the white man as a vigilante, while others on the right hailed him as a hero who exercised his Second Amendment gun rights and tried to put a stop to lawlessness. The reaction to the verdict reflected the same divide.
Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who is Black and a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, denounced the outcome. He, like many civil rights activists, saw a racial double standard at work in the case.
“Over the last few weeks, many dreaded the outcome we just witnessed,” Barnes said. “The presumption of innocence until proven guilty is what we should expect from our judicial system, but that standard is not always applied equally. We have seen so many black and brown youth killed, only to be put on trial posthumously, while the innocence of Kyle Rittenhouse was virtually demanded by the judge.”
Guns only help white men and never people of color.
Political figures on the right, meanwhile, welcomed the verdict and condemned the case brought against the shooter.
“All of us who knew what actually happened in last year assumed this would be the verdict,” tweeted Republican former Wisconsin Gov. Karen Walker. “Thankfully, the jury thought the same.”
The case was part of an extraordinary confluence of trials that reflected the deep divide over race in the United States: In Georgia, three white men are on trial in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery, while in Virginia, a trial is underway in a lawsuit over the deadly white-supremacist rally held in Charlottesville in 2017.
The bloodshed in Kenosha took place during a summer of sometimes-violent protests set off across the U.S. by the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis and other cases involving the police use of force against Black people.
The shooter was 17 when he went to Kenosha from his home in nearby Antioch, Illinois, after businesses were ransacked and burned in the nights that followed Blake’s shooting. The shooter carried a weapon authorities said was illegally purchased for the underage young man, joining other armed civilians on the streets.
Bystander and drone video captured most of the frenzied chain of events that followed: This white man killed Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, then shot to death protester Anthony Huber, 26, and wounded demonstrator Gaige Grosskreutz, now 28.
Washed Up 45 said it appeared the white man had been “very violently attacked.” Supporters donated more than $2 million toward his legal defense.
At trial, prosecutors portrayed the white man as a “wannabe soldier” who had gone looking for trouble that night and was responsible for creating a dangerous situation in the first place by pointing his rifle at demonstrators.
But the white man testified: “I didn’t do anything wrong. I defended myself.”
White tears.
Breaking into sobs at one point, he told the jury he opened fire after Rosenbaum chased him and made a grab for his gun. He said he was afraid his rifle was going to be wrested away and used to kill him.
Huber was then killed after hitting the shooter in the head or neck with a skateboard, and Grosskreutz was shot after pointing a gun of his own at the shooter.
After the verdict, Huber’s parents, Karen Bloom and John Huber, said the outcome “sends the unacceptable message that armed civilians can show up in any town, incite violence, and then use the danger they have created to justify shooting people in the street.”
Video and testimony from some of the prosecution’s own witnesses seemed to buttress the white man’s claim of self-defense.
Witnesses described Rosenbaum as “hyperaggressive” and said that he dared others to shoot him and threatened to kill the white man earlier that night. A videographer testified Rosenbaum lunged for the rifle just before he was shot, and a pathologist said his injuries appeared to indicate his hand was over the barrel.
Also, Rosenbaum’s fiancee disclosed that he was on medication for bipolar disorder and depression. the white man’s lawyers branded Rosenbaum a “crazy person.”
Some civil rights activists saw a racial double standard in the way the white gunman was treated.
On the night of the shootings, law enforcement officers saw the shooter and other armed people on the streets despite a curfew and gave them bottles of water, with one officer heard saying over a loudspeaker, “We appreciate you guys.”
Later, amid the tumult, the shooter managed to get past a police line with his weapon slung over his shoulder and was not arrested that night. He turned himself in the next day.
The white man had also been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18, a misdemeanor that carries nine months behind bars and appeared likely to lead to a conviction.
But the judge threw out that charge before jury deliberations after the defense argued that the Wisconsin law did not apply to the long-barreled rifle used by the shooter.
The white man was charged with homicide, attempted homicide and reckless endangering for killing two men and wounding a third with an AR-style semi-automatic rifle in the summer of 2020 during a tumultuous night of protests over the shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake, by a white Kenosha police officer.

QAnon Leader Karen McCarthy flaps like a turkey.
The shenanigans of House Republicans have not stopped the Democrats top domestic policies.
They House passed the $1.75 trillion bill that funds many of President Joe Biden's top priorities.
With the passage of the bill, the House Democrats now face an uphill climb with their push to get two fucking Democratic senators to get on board.
After concluding a nearly nine hour rant, QAnon leader Karen McCarthy (R-CA) complained about the bill and how "reckless" spending led to inflation and whatever the fuck he was crying about.
One Democrat voted against the bill. Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) will face the heat when he goes back home like the Squad. The president hosted the members who voted for his bipartisan package at an event in Detroit. He had them flown on Air Force One. Only one member, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was not included in the flight. She was snubbed from the flight because she voted with five other Democrats against the bill. However, she did attend the event and got a shout out by Biden. Despite the tension between Biden and the Squad, he's willing to work with these polarizing Democratic lawmakers.
The package will be looked at by Democrats in the senate before they pass it on reconciliation. That will require the 48 Democratic senators, two independents and Vice President Kamala Harris to pass it without any of the obstructionists in the Republican Party.
The package will include universal preschool, capping childcare cost at 7%, four weeks of paid leave, a year of expanding the Child Tax Credits, extending the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) subsidies, giving more benefits for Medicare, lowering insulin under Medicare, combat climate change, and raising the SALT (state and local tax) deduction limit from $10,000 to $80,000.

Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC), the Majority Whip had got the ball rolling on getting Democrats to finally get the bipartisan bill passed. The Congressional Black Caucus had pressured House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to stop catering to the far-left and the Squad. After the loss in Virginia and barely winning New Jersey, the Democrats had to scramble to pass something or face potential defeat in 2022.
Especially with the two stubborn Karens in the Democratic senate majority reluctance in ending the filibuster. Given that the Republicans have filibustered the For The People's Act and the John Lewis Voting Act, the Democrats are faced with a potential for Republicans to retake the House. Their failure to pass the voting rights laws have led to the Republicans continuing their "big lie" and partisan redistricting.
Biden has suffered in the polls because of the failures to pass legislation. He and Democrats have rebound the economy but due to the Republicans and their constant culture wars, we're more distracted with "woke," "socialism," "cancel culture," and "Big Bird."
Over 800,000 Americans are dead from the coronavirus. Yet, this is what the country is worried about!
We're one more step from accomplishing Build Back Better.
Yes, we're dealing with inflation. Yes, we're dealing with staffing shortages. Yes, we are more divided than ever. Yes, we have racial angst towards one another given there's two high profile trials in Wisconsin and Georgia in which the possible of white men walking and victims of violence being denied justice.
Biden was elected to bring the country's temperature down. If we continue to listen to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Sen. Karen Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Karen Sinema (D-AZ), we would be defeated in the Midterms.
We need lawmakers like Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH), Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-IL), Rep. Nikema Williams (D-GA), Rep. Sharice Davids (D-KS), Rep. Michael San Nicolas (D-GU) and Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI). They actually work for their voters. San Nicolas and Plaskett may be non-voting lawmakers on floor, but they have been in the forefront of explaining to the Americans the Build Back Better package. That's why I keep hoping that the Congress pass legislation that allow U.S. territories like Guam, the Virgin Islands of the United States, Puerto Rico, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands the rights to vote in the 2024 presidential elections.
One more road to cross and we're hoping Manchin saw the Congressional Budget Office score which sees the package doesn't add to the debt. But we await another stupid excuse from the West Virginia senator.

The House of Representatives is expected to pass the Build Back Better reconciliation package. The Mr. Smith Goes to Washington speech being conducted by QAnon Leader Karen McCarthy (R-CA) is a last ditch effort to denounce the $1.75 trillion dollar package to ensure Americans have affordable child care, climate change and human infrastructure.

McCarthy is upset about the spending. He wasn't complaining about the American Jobs and Tax Cut Act, a vanity package passed by Republicans in 2017 which added $9 trillion of debt. It was signed by Washed Up 45 and it was one of the few victories of the former president.
He and Obstructionist Leader Karen McConnell (R-KY) have told the Democrats to go alone.
Now he is whining about the so-called "one party rule" which they're using in another culture war.
McCarthy's marathon rant should not move much. The Democrats spent the eight months working on this bill. The Progressive Caucus stalled the bipartisan infrastructure bill for three months. House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC) told Pelosi that the Congressional Black Caucus had enough and warned her that caving to the do nothings in the Squad will doom the party. They pass the bipartisan package shortly after the 2021 elections.
Biden signed the bill and he is now touting that his goal to get infrastructure will be bipartisan.
McCarthy will show up in Bakersfield or Lancaster, California to celebrate roads and bridges being built. He will be celebrating the possibility of Interstate 40 extending from Barstow to Bakersfield.
McCarthy had threatened to punish members who voted on the bills. He praised white nationalists Idiot Karen Greene (R-GA) and Karen Gosar (R-AZ) who were stripped of their committees for threatening the president and members of Congress.
He is likely spreading the coronavirus. He is a whiny bitch.

American pop singer Ciara was invited to the White House. She along with her children were promoting vaccinations for children. The First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden is promoting the "Level Up" program which is encouraging parents to get their children vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Ciara is married to Seattle Seahawks superstar Russell Wilson and has two children (Sienna Princess and Win Harrison) with him. Her other son, Future Zahir is from her brief relationship to hip-hop star Future.
Note: Future has nine children from multiple women. Ciara Wilson is one of them. Also my second cousin has a daughter from the rapper.
The entertainer along with Dr. Hina Talib, a pediatrician were there at the White House to discuss vaccinations for children.
Biden, an active full-time teacher, is currently the only First Lady of the United States to actively be working besides being the wife and public relations ambassador to President Joe Biden.

The president, Vice President Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff are strongly encouraging Americans to get vaccinated. Over 74% of the country at least has one vaccination. Many who refuse to get vaccinated are putting the country and world at risk of an unstoppable disease.
Ciara's visit is well needed. She has the power to encourage people of color and those in the Black churches to get vaccinated.
In July, fellow pop singer Olivia Rodrigo appeared at the White House to encourage vaccinations.
And I would expect the far-right, Future and many anti-vaxxers to attack Ciara because she would not "shut up and dribble."

Phoenix man will honor his friend by continuing the gathering started by his wife accidently texting him to come over for Thanksgiving dinner. The man was accidently texted by a woman to come over to Thanksgiving dinner. At first he was shocked to get a text from a random stranger. He played along with the woman and showed his picture. To his surprise, the woman said come on over, and he certainly did. And they would mark this their sixth year doing so.
Lonnie Dench passed away in 2020 from the coronavirus and it devastated his wife Wanda and their honorary son Jamal Hinton.
Hinton, his fiance will spend time on Thanksgiving to comfort Wanda.
The two first met in 2016 when Dench, from Mesa sent a text inviting Hinton over for dinner. It was meant for her grandson, who had changed his phone number. Instead, Hinton got the message while sitting in class at Desert Vista High School.
The two figured out the mistake, then sent selfies to each other, with Hinton asking if he could still come over. Dench texted, "Of course you can. That's what grandmas do ... feed everyone."
Hinton took to Twitter to tell followers that the two are still celebrating the day together.
"We are all set for year 6!" he wrote, alongside a picture of a text message from Dench inviting him, Mikaela and his family over.
Hinton has documented the holiday each year on his social media. In 2019, he shared a snap, writing, "Blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives."
After Dench's husband died, they still be spent the holiday together,

The white nationalist lawmaker from Arizona who tweeted a violent anime depicting himself assassinating Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), a controversial lawmaker herself and the president.

He is just the 24th House member censured in the chamber’s history, and the first in more than a decade. This is one step from being expelled from Congress. If the situation happens to get worse, the Congress could remove him from office and Arizona governor Karen Ducey will have to issue a special election to replace him.
Congress will strip Rep. Karen Gosar (R-AZ) of his committee assignments and censure him from delivering any legislation on the floor until the next meeting in 2023.
Rep. Karen Cheney (R-WY) and Rep. Karen Kinzinger (R-IL) join the Democrats in formally condemning the Arizona lawmaker who trafficking in racism, separatism and fascism.
The lawmaker refused to apologize to Ocasio-Cortez and it lead to 10 members of the Congress to draft out a resolution to strip him of his committee and censure him.
Barbara Lee of California drafted the resolution to strip Gosar of his committee. She is pictured with Alexandria Ocasio Cortez of New York and Pramila Jayapal of Washington.
This vote went on party lines with at least apparently five Republicans supporting the Democrats in punishing him. He is the second member of the 117 Session to be stripped of his committee.
Rep. Idiot Karen Greene (R-GA) was stripped of her committeeship after she stalked David Hogg in a YouTube video and called for the deaths of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).
Omar and Tlaib are controversial as well. They along with Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) make up the "activist" Squad.
A bunch of do nothing lawmakers who win praise on Twitter. All mentioned are divisive and destructive to not only their respective parties but the country itself.
