What was supposed to be a historical concert turned into a tragedy.

At least 11 people died at a rap concert featuring Mr. Kylie Jenner (aka Travis Scott). The Houston Police, Fire Department, Harris County Sheriff, and Texas Safety Officials are going to hold people accountable.

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Karen Abbott, Houston mayor Sylvester Turner were informed of the tragedy. As expect, they will offer their "thoughts and prayers" and their "hearts going out to the victims." The federal response will likely be involving who allowed the overcrowding and who will likely face the blame.

I know Travis Scott is likely fingered but his management and the NRC Stadium hosting the event will take responsibility.

The incident happened on Friday as Travis Scott began his performance. The event was supposed to be a fun night for fans of the hip-hop artist/singer. This stampede was a mass causality event in which hundreds were severely injured and eight lives were lost.

The third-annual Astroworld Festival may be the last held by Travis Scott at least in the city of Houston, Texas.

The worst of the incident happened on Friday at 9:15pm when the crowd of approximately 50,000 people began to move forward towards the front of the stage.

"The crowd began to compress towards the front of the stage, and some people began to panic," said Houston Fire Samuel Peña.

While the most deadly moments happened after 9:30 p.m., Peña said more than 300 patients total had been treated at a field hospital since the event began, including people who were hurt during the worst moments. While names of the casualties weren't known, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said the victims ages ranged from 14 to 27-years-old.

Authorities were not yet sure of the age of one of the eight victims.

Houston Fire Department and Harris County medics transported 25 people to hospitals, 17 of those patients were taken away during the worst of the ordeal, according to Peña, who also said CPR had to be performed on 11 of the victims. HFD had 55 units in-service for the festival, Peña said.

By Saturday afternoon, 13 were still hospitalized, Turner said. Five of those patients were under 18-years-old.

Festival founder Travis Scott, a rapper and Missouri City native, was joined on stage by Drake in a surprise appearance as the crowd surged.

HPD Executive Assistant Chief Larry Satterwhite was on-duty at the festival along with 367 police officers and 241 security officers. He gave his first-hand account during an early morning press conference.

"Once we started having the mass casualty incident, they were starting CPR on several people, and it happened all at once," Satterwhite said. "It seemed like it happened over the course of just a few minutes. Suddenly, we had several people down on the ground experiencing some type of cardiac arrest or some type of medical episode."

Medical transports were already at the park for the multi-day festival, but staff was quickly overwhelmed with injured people, authorities said.

Investigators were dispatched to hospitals Saturday morning in an attempt to identify the victims. The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office will determine how the eight people died.

The rest of the weekend's planned performances were canceled, and the area is was cordoned off as a crime scene.

"At some point, the show was stopped when the crowd was surging," Finner said as he noted the event's promoters were cooperating with investigators.

Houston mayor said it was one of the worst incidents he's seen.

It wasn't yet clear what caused the deaths or injuries. Finner early Saturday shot down any early speculation about the multiple fatalities, an assertion repeated by city and county leaders during a Saturday afternoon briefing.

"There are a lot of rumors on social media," Turner said. "Let me caution people not to buy into the rumors. Nothing is off the table in terms of persons who were there, people who fainted, people who were transported. As far as a crowd surge, all of those things are being looked at. It's way too early to draw any conclusions."

While Finner joined others in cautioning the public from speculation, he did confirm reports that someone may have been injected with a needle during the melee.

"We do have a security guard, according to the medical staff that was out and treated him last night, that he was reaching over to restrain or grab a citizen, and he felt a prick on his neck," Finner said.

The security guard lost consciousness and was treated with Narcan, a drug used to combat the effects of opioid overdoses, according to Finner, who added that investigators were still trying to locate the security officer involved.

"There were some individuals that were trampled, and we want to be respectful of that," Finner said. "We just ask that you give us time to do a proper investigation.

Organizers with Astroworld Festival released the following statement early Saturday morning:

Our hearts are with the Astroworld Festival family tonight - especially those we lost and their loved ones. We are focused on supporting local officials however we can. With that in mind the festival will no longer be held on Saturday. As authorities mentioned in their press conference earlier, they are looking into the series of cardiac arrests that took place. If you have any relevant information on this, please reach out to Houston Police. Thank you to our partners at the Houston Police Department, Fire Department, and NRG Park for their response and support.

A reunification center was set up at 8686 Kirby Drive near the South Loop at the Wyndham Houston hotel for family members to connect with their loved ones who may have attended the festival. The reunion location, staffed by personnel from Houston Police, the Houston Fire Department and counselors, was established as an information clearinghouse during the hours after the incident.

Residents from outside the Houston-area who haven't heard loved ones who attended the festival can call 832-393-2991 or 832-393-2990.

While it was too early to know if the deaths or injuries were the result of criminal activity, Finner said his department investigating any possibilities.

"Until we determine what happened, what caused the surge, we don't know," Finner said. "We will find out. Is there anything criminal? We don't know."

The deadly incident came hours after a massive crowd stormed the perimeter of NRG Park, creating a chaotic situation for security personnel and event staff. Finner said the two events were not related.

Baton Rouge rapper Boosie Badazz continues this worthless feud with Atlanta rapper Lil Nas X. 

Boosie's upset over the rapper publicly coming out and kissing a man while performing at the BET Awards. He also was upset over the "Industry Baby" video with Jack Harlow. Lil Nas X was dancing in the shower scene naked with guys.

Now the Louisiana rapper has made it his mission to destroy Lil Nas X and those who support him.

Lil Nas X is a notorious Twitter troll. He's so far ignored the rapper's outburst but responded to a recent interview in which the rapper threatened to beat him up. Naserti said that he and Lil Boosie were working on a single.

Boosie called for Naserti to kill himself and called him a faggot. Twitter immediately pulled the remarks and gave him a 12-hour ban.

Now it appears that the rapper is doing a staged stunt to call out Naserti.

A viral video shared on social media shows a man confront Boosie as he was exiting a salon. The man was supportive of Lil Nas X and the rapper immediately exploded into an anti-LGBT triade and threatened to knuckle up. The situation would have turned ugly had Boosie's kid got in the way of the scene. However, folks are quickly calling it a staged event.

The microphones and boom set were in presence. Someone was filming during the confrontation was a music video producer.

Lil Nas X has a shoe deal.

The rapper's apparent trolling has set off his Nas X's family.

R.L. Stafford, the father of the rapper said that Boosie needs to "go sit your old man looking ass down."

Robert Sleepy, the half-brother of Naserti warned Boosie that he's playing a dangerous game. He first trolled the rapper by saying his brother on his way to be a billionaire and Bossie only still running under $800,000. He warned the Louisiana rapper don't get caught slipping.

The rap music industry must change the narrative. Homophobia isn't cool. 

Like with Raymond Scott (formerly Benzino) and his feud with Eminem, Boosie is going to find his nail in the coffin. 

Lil Nas X has scored four singles in the Billboard 200. He has major endorsements. He has been regarded as one of the best rappers in the game. He has crossover success. People are playing his music.

Biden got it done.

Finally, the gridlock between the Democrats has finally came to an end. The bipartisan infrastructure bill finally came to a vote and it passed. The votes came before Midnight on Friday.

The $1.2 trillion package was passed with applause from Democrats saying that they got the job done.

It will deliver $550 billion of new federal investments in America's infrastructure over five years, touching everything from bridges and roads to the nation's broadband, water and energy systems. Experts say the money is sorely needed to ensure safe travel, as well as the efficient transport of goods and produce across the country. The nation's infrastructure system earned a C- score from the American Society of Civil Engineers earlier this year.

Democrats claim the bill pays for itself through a multitude of measures and without raising taxes. But the Congressional Budget Office brushed aside several of those pay-for provisions, ultimately finding the bill would add $256 billion to the deficit over the next 10 years. It's significantly smaller than the $2.25 trillion proposal that Biden unveiled in March, known as the American Jobs Plan.

Several Republicans joined Democrats in passing the bipartisan package which was part of President Joe Biden's Build Back Better agenda.

The Sqaud will face primary challenges.

Rep. Karen Gonzalez (R-OH), Rep. Karen Van Drew (R-NJ), Rep. Karen Malliotakis (R-NY), Rep. Karen Upton (R-MI), Rep. Karen Young (R-AK), Rep. Karen Reed (R-NY), Rep. Karen Katko (R-MI), Rep. Karen Smith (R-NJ), Rep. Karen Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Rep. Karen Bacon (R-NE), Rep. Karen McKinley (R-WV), Rep. Karen Garbarino (R-NY) and Rep. Karen Kinzinger (R-IL).

Six Democrats voted against it and now they will pay a price for standing in the way.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) will face a primary challenge in 2022.

The Squad's "symbolic" no vote will cost them dearly. Their grandstanding against a bipartisan infrastructure package destined to fix roads, bridges, ports and broadband will invite a primary challenge. 

Rep. Jim Clyburn (R-SC) is credited to getting this done. He along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have seen the writing on the wall when Terry McAuliffe lost his bid to be governor. They needed to pass something now. The delay of passing this bill was because of the progressives demand for the reconciliation to added to the bipartisan package.

It wasn't going to fly with the Democrats. Clyburn said it got to get done now and look what happened!

Biden has signalled he will sign the bill into law today.

And like Hunter Biden's laptop, Ashley Biden's diary lands in the hands of far-right operatives.

Ashley Biden is a fashion designer and activist. She is the only daughter of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. She is half-sister to surviving son Hunter. Her half-sister Naomi died in 1972 in a car accident. Her half-brother Beau (Joseph Biden III) passed away in 2015 after battling brain cancer.

Biden is married to Howard Krein. She made her mission to "Be Kind" and "Do Good." 

Her personal belongings end up on websites involved in pushing false information. 

The Ashley Biden diary smell Russian to me!

Somehow, ACORN Pimp decided to publish unverified parts of Biden's diary in the final weeks of the U.S. presidential election. Now the Southern District of New York federal court and the FBI are doing an investigation into whether the Project Veritas operation had contact with foreign operatives.

The ACORN Pimp has disclosed parts of her diary without her consent. Biden had filed a burglary report in regards to property being missing to the federal authorities. Obviously, being the daughter of a presidential candidate, you're given federal protection. And of course, Joe Biden is a former vice president.

This shadowy conservative website, separate from Project Veritas, published dozens of its handwritten pages claiming it had received materials from a whistleblower at a media organization which was refusing to run stories from the diary until the election was over.

Given that Facebook and Twitter had blocked stories about the Hunter Biden laptop and emails, the far-right wanted to make sure that they didn't push the story knowing that it would be removed because it was not verified.

We were told that the Russian Federation was doing a coordinated smear campaign against Biden and advance it's propaganda to benefit Washed Up 45. The former president, his sons, his son in law, Republican power brokers, the former New York City mayor and a handful of operatives involved with Ukraine, Russia and the Czech Republic had figured that if they can weaken Biden, then Washed Up 45 could defeat him. We seen it with the "ugly sea cow" and "Hunter's laptop."

We see the "creepy Uncle Joe" memes and "Let's Go Brandon." It's all coordinated and smells like a Russian op.

As with the claims in the "diary," the FBI had conducted interviews with Biden when he was then the pick for vice president under Barack Obama in 2008. So, why is all this stuff coming out now when these folks should have done it before Obama picked Biden?

Obviously, we're just idiots who believe everything off the internet instead getting facts from the sources like the FBI.

I'm sorry, the FBI is scrutinized by the far-right because of the arrests of Karen Stone, Karen Flynn and Karen Manafort. 

The website claimed at the time it obtained the diary from a whistleblower at another news organization that refused to publish information from it. 

Project Veritas claimed it knew the whereabouts of the actual diary and that the whistleblower had an audio recording of Ashley admitting it belonged to her.

ACORN Pimp is under feds radar for obtaining possible foreign information in an attempt to damage Biden. 

The Department of Justice began investigating the matter after a Biden family rep reported a number of Ashley’s belongings had been stolen in a burglary, the New York Times reported.

In a statement,  ACORN Pimp claimed journalists from the outfit were being targeted despite doing their jobs “lawfully and honestly.” 

“The FBI took materials of current, and former, Veritas journalists despite the fact that our legal team previously contacted the Department of Justice and voluntarily conveyed unassailable facts that demonstrate Project Veritas’ lack of involvement in criminal activity and/or criminal intent,” ACORN Pimp said.

“Like any reporter, we regularly deal with the receipt of source information and take steps to verify its authenticity, legality, and newsworthiness. Our efforts were the stuff of responsible, ethical journalism and we are in no doubt that Project Veritas acted properly at each and every step,” he added. 

In the statement, ACORN Pimp acknowledged the outfit received a grand jury subpoena — and questioned how the Times found out about the raid, despite the Justice Department requesting Project Veritas keep the investigation secret. 

“We do not know how The New York Times was aware of the execution of a search warrant at our reporter’s home, or the subject matter of the search warrant, as a Grand Jury investigation is secret,” ACORN Pimp wrote. 

FBI agents and Manhattan federal prosecutors who investigate public corruption are leading the probe, according to the Times. A spokesperson for the Southern District of New York declined to comment about the raid. 

A spokesperson for the New York FBI said they could not confirm the Times story, but confirmed agents “performed a law enforcement activity” at Karen Meads’ address. 

No one answered the door at the address on East 35th Street Friday afternoon.

Project Veritas is a controversial media outlet that rose to prominence among conservatives by pulling off undercover sting operations on Democratic groups and mainstream media organizations. 

They’ve targeted Planned Parenthood, the advocacy group ACORN, labor unions and news organizations such as CNN and the New York Times with their undercover operations. 

In 2017, The Washington Post exposed a plot by Project Veritas employees who were attempting to give the newspaper a fake story about Georgia Senate candidate Karen Moore, who had been dogged by sexual misconduct allegations.

I am listening to white progressives and leftists talk about how the Democrats failure to move to the left doomed Terry McAuliffe. No. It was not that. Pushing the Democrats further to the left, turned off Republicans who voted for President Joe Biden. The president won 10% of the Republican vote. Not a lot but a significant amount. We have a party that is "big tent." That's a problem with us.

We want to appeal to rural voters, Black men, white men, white women, strongly religious and non-college educated. These groups are more conservative and often more reluctant to support progressive policies.

Black voters are not monolithic. We are not willing to back a candidate because they're a Democrat. 

Washed Up 45 won more Black support in 2020 than in 2016. That's not good. White leftists are dangerous to the Democratic Party. The American public rejected socialism. It's an economic term but to the Americans who never went to college, it's a scary buzz word that hurts Democrats worse than "defund the police."

Black Lives Matter still matter to me, but the word is now becoming toxic for Democrats. 

The American people elected Biden to fix the mess. He can't get it done and he's going to be held accountable for it. Even though he bares no responsibility for the pandemic, he inherited and these impatient Americans are holding him responsible for everything. The president takes responsibility on day one.

It was only a few months ago when the junk food media was obsessed with the pullout in Afghanistan.

Sinema will not get a moment of peace from protesters.

And now we're not even talking about it. We're talking about Democrats not being able to get Build Back Better done. Then of course, we're not talking about the lawmakers and conservative agitators pushing for more insurrections. We're not talking about the mass shootings. We're not talking about real issues like climate change. We're not talking about real issues with crumbling bridges.

It's all about culture wars. White grievance politics yet again keeps this nation divided.

The jobs report for the month of October was good. Biden needed that after Tuesday's loss in Virginia. The president's Build Back Better agenda should hopefully be voted on this month.

But of course, we still have the problems with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Sen. Karen Manchin (D-WV), Sen. Karen Sinema (D-AZ) and the House Progressives members. Their refusal to work in unison to pass the Build Back Better agenda has deflated Democrats going into 2022.

Republicans who have done little to no work at all, a lavishing in the background. We have already ignored holding these assholes responsible for the insurrection and handling of the pandemic.

Republicans, the party of White people and enablers of color are looking to capitalize off of white grievances like voter fraud, mask mandates, critical race theory, immigration and inflation. Not one of these Republicans offered any solution to help Biden pass his agenda. All they want to do is continue to keep Americans distracted. From conspiracy theories and "Let's Go Brandon," the Republicans hatred of Biden and the use of culture wars have kept Republicans motivated.

It also took the attention off the former president. The former president's antics are still controversial but they're still popular with the Republicans.

The U.S. Jobs reports shows the job market snapped back in October, with nonfarm payrolls rising more than expected while the unemployment rate fell to 4.6%, the Labor Department reported Friday.

Nonfarm payrolls increased by 531,000 for the month, compared with the Dow Jones estimate of 450,000. The jobless rate had been expected to edge down to 4.7%.

Private payrolls were even stronger, rising 604,000 as a loss of 73,000 government jobs pulled down the headline number. October’s gains represented a sharp pickup from September, which gained 312,000 jobs after the initial Bureau of Labor Statistics estimate of 194,000 saw a substantial upward revision in Friday’s report.

The numbers helped allay concerns that rising inflation, a severe labor shortage and slowing economic growth would tamp down jobs creation.

“This is the kind of recovery we can get when we are not sidelined by a surge in Covid cases,” said Nick Bunker, economic research director at job placement site Indeed. “If this is the sort of job growth we will see in the next several months, we are on a solid path.”

Markets rallied strongly on the news, with the Dow up nearly 350 points in early trading and government bond yields mostly lower.

I said it many times. We need more candidates like Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH). Brown is sworn in by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). The Cleveland lawmaker is ready to build bridges and not burn them.

The critical leisure and hospitality sector led the way, adding 164,000 as Americans ventured out to eating and drinking establishments and went on vacations again as Covid numbers fell during the month. For 2021, the sector has reclaimed 2.4 million positions lost during the pandemic.

Other sectors posting solid gains included professional and business services (100,000), manufacturing (60,000), and transportation and warehousing (54,000). Construction added 44,000 positions while health care was up 37,000 and retail added 35,000.

Wages increased 0.4% for the month, in line with estimates, but rose 4.9% on a year-over-year basis, reflecting the inflationary pressures that have intensified through the year. The average work week edged lower by one-tenth of an hour to 34.7 hours.

The unemployment rate drop came with the labor force participation rate holding steady at 61.6%, still 1.7 percentage points below its February 2020 level before the pandemic declaration. That represents just shy of 3 million fewer Americans considered part of the workforce and is reflective of ongoing concerns about staffing levels.

“While the strength of employment was an encouraging sign that labor demand remains strong, labor supply remains very weak. The labor force rose by a muted 104,000, which is not even enough to even keep pace with population growth,” said Michael Pearce, senior U.S. economist at Capital Economics.

At the same time, the survey of households showed job holders rising by 359,000, leaving the employment level about 4.7 million below its pre-pandemic level.

A separate measure of unemployment that incudes discouraged workers and those holding part-time jobs for economic reasons fell to 8.3% from 8.5%. That rate was 7% before the pandemic.

The report comes amid heightened concerns about the state of the labor market, particularly a chronic shortage that has left companies unable to fill positions to scale back production and cut hours of operation.

Companies have been increasing wages and adding other incentives as the working share of the potential labor force operates well below its pre-pandemic level.

Since adding more than a million jobs in July, the labor market had slowed sharply through the rest of the summer, with sizeable letdowns in August and September as economists greatly overestimated growth in both months.

However, revisions showed that the numbers for those months weren’t quite as dismal. Along with the boost from September’s initial count, August’s final reading came up another 117,000 to 483,000.

Concerns linger, though, that the U.S. economy is slowing. Gross domestic product increased just 2% in the summer months, falling short of even the reduced expectations for gains during the pandemic-era recovery.

Recent data, though, has shown a progressive drop in weekly jobless claims, the result in good part from enhanced unemployment benefits expiring. Data on Thursday showed productivity is running at a 40-year low and the trade deficit notched another record high, passing $80 billion for the first time.

Earlier this week, the Federal Reserve said job growth is strengthening enough for the central bank to begin cutting its monthly bond purchases, a cornerstone of its efforts to boost the economy during the pandemic. However, Chairman Jerome Powell stressed that the picture must continue to improve before the Fed starts raising interest rates.

We are closing in on 800,000 Americans dead from the coronavirus. We have free vaccinations and free COVID-19 testing and yet about 123 million Americans are not willing get it. That's not good at all.

  5. Anti-Vaxxers. Lawmakers and activists who protests the CDC guidelines during the pandemic.
  6. The endless culture wars that Republicans find outrage in.
  7. Washed Up 45 and his minions on Fox, Newsmax, OANN and the internet.
  8. Facebook and TikTok and the idiots who run it and the idiots who post on it.
  9. Fox, The Daily Mail and OANN's relentless talk about his son Hunter Biden.
  10. The relentless talk about spending.
Should I go further than I want. I mean the president's agenda is literally being grinded to a halt by 50 Republicans in the minority and two Democrats. The 47 Democrats are tired of the independent who caucuses with them always in the limelight. The House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is tired of the House members trying to sabotage the Build Back Better agenda. 

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Food prices, energy prices, rent, city services and college education have risen. Companies are struggling to find workers. They are now trying to push incentives to get workers in.

Things are slowly returning back to normal. However we're still not out of the woods yet. Over 78% of Americans have at least gotten one of the coronavirus vaccines. Around 135 million Americans refusing to be vaccinated which will lead to the coronavirus being resistant to vaccines. As it mutates into a deadly strain, folks who refuse to follow the CDC guidelines will eventually turn it into a super-pandemic in which those who come into contact with an infected asymptomatic person could trigger the mass destruction of the human race.

President Joe Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.

But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war. 

With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

We came so far only to have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

Companies are still trying to hire employees. With the average wages stagnant, many are not looking forward to returning to a job that pays dirt wages. Many who worked in the retail, restaurant and low end service industry are not willing to take a job for less than $10 an hour.

Republicans don't see the bigger picture itself. They rather continue to believe in conspiracies about people collecting the safety net and not going back to work.

If I get back into power, expect Biden to get nothing.

Give them a liveable wage and maybe things might improve in the job market.

We can't always assume that folks are lazy. People are literally dying from being overworked and folks are tired of the status quo of their jobs.

Many single mothers are having trouble trying to find quality daycare or family members to watch children. On top of that, some have lost family members due to the pandemic. A homemaker may have lost their spouse. Some may have no choice but to watch their children or loved ones due to the aftermath of the pandemic.

Folks are still trying to rebound from medical bills, late rent payments, owing taxes and college loans.

Republicans are white nationalists without a conscience. Washed Up 45's presidency and Republican controlled governments killed millions of Americans. President Joe Biden has a slim majority in Congress and things can't be done with obstruction from both parties.

Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local community member, your school board member, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions. 

We need to put pressure on Republicans and Democrats to do something to improve everyone's lives.

The three brothers from Oklahoma formed The Gap Band. The band was best known for major hits in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Brothers Ronnie, Robert and Charlie Wilson had the dance floors jumping and folks often sampled their songs and often used their influence as their motivation.

The family of Ronnie Wilson announce his passing. 

As a founding member of The Gap Band, he motivated millions and was loved by his wife Linda Boulware-Wilson and his children and grandchildren. His brother Charlie also reacted to his brother's passing as well.

"The love of my life was called home this morning," Linda wrote on Tuesday. "Ronnie Wilson was a genius with creating, producing and playing the flugelhorn, trumpet, keyboards, and singing music, from childhood to his early seventies."

The Wilson brothers form The Gap Band in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were inspired by the street names in the city --- Greenwood, Archer and Pine --- that was defined as Black Wall Street. The cultural district was destroyed in a race riot in 1921.

The group grew up with a love of music, raised by a music teacher mother and a preacher father. 

Ronnie was an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, contributing keyboards, horns and percussion in addition to vocals on several of the group's albums.

Ronnie and Charlie's brother Robert passed away at the age of 53 from a fatal heart attack.
