We just learned the comedian Anthony "A.J" Johnson had passed away. His best known roles included House Party 3, Friday, I Got The Hook Up and The Players Club. 

"The world of comedy has truly been shaken, again. Our BH Talent family is heartbroken about the loss of the iconic legend of stage and screen Mr. Anthony "AJ" Johnson," said his representative LyNea Bell. "He has left with us amazing memories of his laughter, dynamic acting skills, but most of all, his enormous personality and heart of gold.

Johnson appeared in movies like Menace II Society, Lethal Weapon 3, B.A.P.S. and Hot Boyz. 

He also appeared on television shows like Martin, Malcolm & Eddie, Moesha and The Jamie Foxx Show.

Sleeper hit I Got The Hook Up starred AJ Johnson and Percy "Master P" Miller.

Johnson was discovered to be lifeless in a store.

He leaves behind a wife Lexis and three children.

Ice Cube responded to the news of his passing.

"Sad to wake up to the news about AJ Johnson passing away. Naturally funny dude who was straight outta Compton at the same time. Sorry I couldn't bring your character Ezal back to the big screen in Last Friday," Ice Cube tweeted on Monday.

Last Friday was slated to be released on 2023.

Members who were in Friday franchise included the late entertainers John Witherspoon, Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Bernie Mac, Reynaldo Rey and Yvette Wilson.

Actress/director/media personality Debbie Allen became the first Black woman to win a Primetime Governor's Ball Emmy award.

At last night's Emmy Awards, Ava DuVernay and Jada Pinkett Smith shared stories about working with Debbie.

Allen worked over 50 years in the industry. She was moved to tears when she was presented the Governors Award. Allen becomes the first African American woman to earn the 2021 Emmy recipient of the Governors Award.

From stage to screen, Debbie is iconic. She broke onto the music scene playing the role of Anita on Broadway in the classic musical West Side Story, then became best known for her role of Lydia Grant in the TV series Fame.

Allen had also lend her talents to the television and movie screen.

For this role in 1983 she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy and two Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography and was nominated for four Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Allen later began working as director and producer, most notably producing and directing 83 of 144 episodes of NBC comedy series A Different World (1988-1993). She returned to acting playing the leading role in the NBC sitcom In the House from 1995 to 1996, and in 2011 began playing Dr. Catherine Avery in the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy also serving as an executive producer/director. 

She has directed more than 50 television and film productions.

Allen has released two solo albums, Sweet Charity (1986) and Special Look (1989), which also produced several singles. Also that year, she directed musical film Polly. She later directed crime drama film Out-of-Sync (1995) and well as number of television films. She was choreographer of The Academy Awards Show for ten years, six of which were consecutive. In 1995, Allen lent her voice (as well directing the voice cast) to the children's animated series C Bear and Jamal for Film Roman and Fox Kids. Also that year, she went to star in the NBC sitcom In the House that ran two seasons. She co-produced the 1997 Steven Spielberg historical drama film Amistad receiving a Producers Guild of America Award.

In 2001, Allen founded the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, a 501(c)3 non profit organization.

Since 2007, Allen was participated as a judge and mentor for the U.S. version of So You Think You Can Dance. She had to step aside at the end of Vegas week in Season 4 to avoid perception of bias, as one of her former dancers, Will, made it to the top 20.

In 2008, Allen directed the all-African-American Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, starring stage veterans James Earl Jones (Big Daddy), her sister Phylicia Rashad (Big Mama) and Anika Noni Rose (Maggie the Cat), as well as film actor Terrence Howard, who made his Broadway debut as Brick. The production, with some roles recast, had a limited run (2009 – April 2010) in London. She also directed and starred in the 2001 play and its television adaptation The Old Settler.

In 2000s and 2010s, Allen directed television shows, including 44 episodes of All of Us, as well as Girlfriends, Everybody Hates Chris, How to Get Away with Murder, Empire, Scandal and Jane the Virgin. In 2011, she joined the cast of ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy playing the role of Dr. Catherine Fox. As of 12th season, she served as an executive producer.

In 2020, she directed the musical film Christmas on the Square starring Dolly Parton for Netflix.

The Squad vows to not support bipartisan package if it doesn't include the stand alone bill.

The progressives members of the House of the Representatives are threatening to sink the Biden agenda.

The bad faith politicians in the House and the Senate have continued to become a distraction to President Joe Biden. From the ten members of the House to the three members of the Senate, the bad faith politics are destroying America.

The American Jobs Plan has stalled because of Sen. Karen Manchin (D-WV). He won't support the $3.5 trillion package which includes "human infrastructure." The Progressive Caucus which includes: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) vow to oppose the single package deal which was $1.5 trillion.

The Democratic Party's slim majority is at risk of being tossed because of the extreme left.

The 17 Karens of the Senate joined the 48 members and two independents in passings the single budget package. But with the full package, the Karens aren't willing to back anything. 

The Republicans have vowed to oppose the agenda as well as raising the debt ceiling and moving forward with the president's agenda.

The House moderates who have the most to lose are telling House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to stop letting the do-nothings run the agenda. 

Pelosi set the vote on the Senate passed infrastructure bill on September 27. The speakers told progressives that it will move side by side with the multitrillion-dollar Build Back Better measure.

Nine centrist Democrats led by Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) issued a joint statement Friday to rally support for the infrastructure bill and to remind Pelosi about her promise to vote on the bill by next Monday. They said Congress "cannot afford to delay a single day."

Manchin is also a pain. The West Virginia Democrat has threatened to sink the agenda because of spending.

Many of the moderate and centrist members as well as House Majority Whip, Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) are telling Pelosi that the sloganing from they won't cave to the noise of the extreme left.

"We are working with everybody in all corners of our party," he said. "They're trying to get to a common ground on all of these issues. And I feel very comfortable that we are going to get there."

Clyburn said Democrats "ought to stop focusing on the number and start looking at what needs to be done" when it comes to the spending bill.

The moderates are saying that they have the most to lose if they don't get the Senate package done.

On top of that, they refuse to do the Bernie Sanders agenda. The independent senator from Vermont has been continuously forcing the agenda to move 

The party coalition of moderates and progressives are feuding over how to get this bill to the president's desk.

While Biden does approve of the deals, he's not pleased with the way these lawmakers are acting. I mean the 435 House members, five delegates, one resident commissioner and 100 senators. Out of those 541 members, only 45% of them actually work.

They face a government shutdown, a debt ceiling and a series of crucial votes that could impact the next fiscal year. 

House Budget Committee Chair John Yarmuth (D-KY) floated an outside-the-box option: Pass the infrastructure bill on Sept. 27, but don't send it to Biden's desk yet.

"The speaker does not have to actually advance the bill to the — if we pass it in the House — does not actually have to send it to the president for signature. She can hold on to that bill for a while," Yarmuth said on "Fox News Sunday." "So there's some flexibility in terms of how we mesh the two mandates."

After House committees finished their work on the Build Back Better legislation last week, Biden held a call with Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to discuss the way forward. Biden's approval rating has slipped into net negative territory after a rough end of the summer as the delta variant of the coronavirus threw a wrench into the COVID-19 recovery.

The search for Gabby Petito comes to a tragic end. The feds found remains that are consistent with the description of the young woman who was a social media darling and the latest missing white woman to capture the nation's attention.

So as we are catching up, the story about this couple who travel across the country in a transit van. One returns back to his home. The other went missing. Gabrielle Petito and her fiance Brian Laundrie got into a fight during their trip and filming of their social media. The two were told to take a break when confronted by the cops. 

When Laundrie returned back to his Florida home without Petito, that launched an investigation into her disappearance. Now the feds are now zeroing on him as a person of interest.

The FBI said the body was found by law enforcement agents who had spent the past two days searching campgrounds.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, said FBI Supervisory Special Agent Charles Jones.

“Full forensic identification has not been completed to confirm 100% that we found Gabby, but her family has been notified,” Jones said. “This is an incredibly difficult time for (Petito’s) family and friends.”

The body camera footage of Laundrie. He is being sought by the feds.

An attorney who has been acting as a spokesman for Petito’s family asked in a statement that the family be given room to grieve.

Attorney Richard Benson Stafford indicated that the family would make a public statement at a later date, and he thanked officials with the FBI, Grand Teton Search and Rescue and other agencies that participated in the search for Petito.

“The family and I will be forever grateful,” Stafford said in a statement.

An undeveloped camping area on the east side of Grand Teton bordering national forest land will remain closed until further notice while the investigation continues, Jones said.

Jones said investigators are still seeking information from anyone who may have seen Petito or Brian Laundrie around the camp sites, the same area that was the subject of law enforcement search efforts over the weekend.

Petito and her boyfriend, Laundrie, left in July on a cross-country trek in a converted van to visit national parks in the U.S. West. Police said Laundrie was alone when he drove the van back to his parents’ home in North Port, Florida, on Sept. 1.

Laundrie has been identified as a person of interest in the case. He was last seen Tuesday by family members in Florida.

More than 50 law enforcement officers on Sunday started a second day of searching for Laundrie at the more than 24,000-acre (9,712-hectare) Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, Florida, a wildlife area with more than 100 miles (160 kilometers) of trails, as well as campgrounds.

Petito’s family filed a missing persons report Sept. 11 with police in Suffolk County, New York.

Petito’s family had been pleading for the Laundrie family to tell them where their son last saw her. Petito and Laundrie were childhood sweethearts who met while growing up on Long Island, New York. His parents later moved to North Port, about 35 miles (55 kilometers) south of Sarasota.

The couple’s trek in the Ford Transit van began in July from Long Island. They intended to reach Oregon by the end of October, according to their social media accounts, but Petito vanished after her last known contact with family in late August from Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, authorities said.

Police video released by the Moab Police Department in Utah showed that an officer pulled the van over on Aug. 12 after it was seen speeding and hitting a curb near the entrance to Arches National Park. The body cam video showed an emotional Petito, who sat inside a police cruiser while officers also questioned Laundrie.

Moab police ultimately decided not file any charges and instead separated the couple for the night, with Laundrie checking into a motel and Petito remaining with the converted sleeper van.

Iconic comedian became the latest person to be tested positive for the coronavirus. He was one of the breakthrough cases of coronavirus.

Chris Rock posted on social media that he tested positive for COVID-19. He urged Americans to get vaccinated. 

The comedian and actor, 56 took to Twitter to share a bare-bones message to his 5 million followers announcing that he tested positive and encourage those who haven't been vaccinated to get it.

"Hey guys I found out I have COVID, trust me you don't want this. Get vaccinated."

Rock didn't not discuss how he got the coronavirus or how he is feeling but given that the warning to get vaccinated is there, he said that the coronavirus had been painful. 

Rock said that he was fully vaccinated and he became a breakthrough case of coronavirus. 

"I'm two shots Rock, that's what they call me," Rock joked before noting that he actually received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine which only requires only one shot.

"That's the food stamps of vaccines," said Rock.

Chris Rock takes the COVID-19 pandemic seriously.

The Johnson & Johnson shot only maintains a 72% vaccination strength. The two doses of Pfizer and Moderna shots have a 94% effectiveness. 

Other entertainers who got the vaccinated but ended up catching the coronavirus are Wendy Williams and Melissa Joan Hart. Williams is best known for her gossip and talk show. Hart is best known for her role on Sabrina The Teenage Witch.

Of course, there's folks who are fully vaccinated but end up getting the coronavirus. As with vaccines, nothing is 100%. The vaccines are capable of preventing the coronavirus. At best, it's a 94% prevention rate which means 1 out of 500 could be infected even if they're vaccinated.

President Joe Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.

But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war. 

With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

We came so far only to have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

The Republicans are so devoted to destroying Biden and the country for what....to regain power.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19. 

If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!

The United States admits it fucked up. They used a drone and it struck a vehicle with children.

An aid worker and seven children were killed in a drone strike near Kabul. The U.S. has admitted fault and they are investigating why they got it wrong. 

The United States military investigation into a deadly Kabul drone strike on a vehicle in August has found it killed 10 civilians and the driver and that the vehicle targeted was likely not a threat associated with ISIS-K, announced Gen. Frank McKenzie, the top general of US Central Command, at the Pentagon on Friday.

McKenzie told reporters that the strike -- which he said killed seven children -- was a "mistake" and offered an apology.

"This strike was taken in the earnest belief that it would prevent an imminent threat to our forces and the evacuees at the airport, but it was a mistake and I offer my sincere apology," he said.

McKenzie added that he is "fully responsible for this strike and this tragic outcome."

The Pentagon's announcement will likely fuel more criticism of the Biden administration's chaotic evacuation of Kabul and handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan more broadly. While McKenzie stressed Friday that future strikes will likely be held to a higher standard, confirmation of the civilian death toll also provides insight into the obstacles ahead for military and intelligence officials tasked with fulfilling President Joe Biden's promise to make the terror group "pay" for its deadly suicide attack in Kabul.

The Pentagon had maintained that at least one ISIS-K facilitator and three civilians were killed in what Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley had previously called a "righteous strike" on the compound on August 29. The investigation released Friday found that all of those killed in the residential compound were civilians.

In the lead up to the strike, drone operators surveilled the courtyard for up to 4 to 5 minutes. In that time, a male driver left the vehicle. One child was parking the vehicle and other children were present in the car and the courtyard -- as CNN had been told by the Ahmadi family.

The military based the strike on a reasonable certainty standard to launch the strike on the vehicle. Tragically, it was the wrong vehicle, a US military official familiar with the investigation told CNN earlier Friday, adding that reasonable certainty is not 100% certainty.

"We didn't take the strike because we thought we were wrong -- we took the strike because we thought we had a good target," McKenzie said. While he acknowledged that the strike "was a terrible mistake," he said he would "not qualify the entire operation" as a failure.

Asked by a reporter to explain how the "complete and utter failure" could have occurred, McKenzie said, "While I agree that this strike certainly did not come up to our standards and I profoundly regret it, I would not qualify the entire operation in those terms."

Previously, US Central Command pointed to "significant secondary explosions" as evidence of a "substantial amount of explosive material" in the vehicle. On Friday, the US military source said that after reviewing footage from infra-red sensors, they would no longer characterize this as an explosion -- instead, it was more of a flare up.

The US official said that in the time leading up to the strike, the US had at least 60 different intelligence reports about threat streams toward US forces at Hamid Karzai International Airport.

A US official with direct knowledge of the standards for a strike of this nature told CNN earlier this month that 10 civilian deaths is an "astronomically high" number and the military would have conducted collateral damage estimates beforehand, meaning commanders were aware that there was a potential for civilian casualties.

"Had we cooperation with any local partner, we would have never fired a missile at the vehicle but tried to get to the drivers before they got in the car," one former intelligence official with knowledge of how these strikes are carried out previously told CNN. "That assumes we had intel on the car as opposed to the people, and maybe after it was already in route, which leaves far fewer options."

The launch of ARealOne clothing line by the notorious leftist Jeffrey Shaun King. The leftist was driven to obscurity due to his feud with Samaria Rice, the mother of Tamir Rice. He has so far been in the news for more controversies and it's even forced him to make his Twitter account private.

He is so triggered right now. Anyone who dares question his motives are blocked. He has blocked prominent activists in the Black Lives Matter movement. He has taken credit for accomplishments he had no part in. He spent more time trying to build a movement but in reality, he is pocketing millions of dollars from people willing to donate for a good cause. 

All the projects he's started on or is involved in often are shut down without any financial accountability. He has maintained that he's been very transparent in his financial doings but that's totally not the case.

You never see King out in the elements. He never is participating in the movements. 

He is also trying to sell these clothes for nearly $200. I mean he literally selling cheap hoodies for $165 and t-shirts for $50.

This comes fresh after the last controversy where it was revealed he bought a nearly $1 million dollar home. He and Rai King purchased a house in suburban New Jersey for $800,000. When the junk food media caught wind of the matter, the agitator claimed that he needed donations to move from his home.

There are documented grievances from organizers, volunteers, former board members and other concerned parties about money that King has dismissed as hate or dissatisfaction.

Chief among those voices bringing attention to the combination of King and fundraising is Samaria Rice, the mother of Tamir Rice, the 12-year-old boy who was gunned down and killed by a Cleveland police officer in 2014 within seconds of being seen.

Cheap hoodies and t-shirts for $200.

Samaria Rice, as sympathetic and genuine of a person as there ever was, recently called out King for “chasing clout” because he published the contents of what she said was an off-the-record conversation. She called King “a white man acting black” and revived criticism of his fundraising practices that first came under fire when a 2015 Washington Post article couldn’t account for $60,000 in missing online donations he solicited.

“Personally I don’t understand how you sleep at night,” Samaria Rice said in June. “I never gave you permission to raise nothing.”

To be sure, beyond the issues that arise every time King and fundraising are mentioned in the same sentence, there needs to be space for a conversation about reconciling the difference between being compensated for one’s labor and platform and when that line is crossed into personally profiting off justice work.

It's a warning to those who still support Jeffrey Shaun King. There are things you need to understand.

If he doesn't disclose who his financial ties are, don't donate.

If he is calling upon his troll army to go after a critic or an investigative journalist, don't donate.

If he blocked you or someone you know because he took credit for a video or a image that wasn't his, don't donate.

If you see he is launching another campaign for "justice" or he is calling for "help" to launch something, don't donate.

We seriously need to look into King.
