With COVID-19 changing social norms, many Americans including myself are wearing mask whenever entering facilities in the country. Even though mask don't completely protect you from viral infections, it's a smart move to prevent the coronavirus from spreading.
Americans who refuse to wear masks are going to social media to share outrage over it. Some on the far-white are sharing videos of them getting into a dispute with store management over new rules and state mandate orders.
Two men in Virginia used the COVID-19 pandemic to create an ultimate mask and grab. They were caught on camera geeking from a Sheetz in Louisa.
The two were wearing watermelons on their heads. They even posed for photos with shoppers as they shared their funny masks. But the police ain't laughing about it. They want these "melonheads" to be arrested for larceny.
They grabbed a lot of booze and ran out without paying.
The two managed to create the mask out of watermelons with cutout eyes.
The suspects will face criminal theft, trespassing and possible underage consumption because they named one of the suspects and he's underage.
The police department initially released an image from a surveillance video showing two people wearing the giant fruits on their head on Facebook, but removed the post after the suspect's arrest, Chief Tom Leary told Insider.
Thousands of people were commenting and sharing the post after the case had been mostly resolved, he said.
One of the geekers caught.
"We arrested one individual and the second individual, we pretty much know who they are," Leary told Insider. "In the eight months I've been here, it's been the matter that has attracted the greatest amount of attention."
Leary said that the two stole alcohol from the store. He's been charged with wearing a mask in public while committing larceny, underage possession of alcohol, and petit larceny of alcohol.
The second person seen wearing a melon mask is still under investigation, he said.
The charges could put these fruits in the iron college for six months to three years. They will be forced to pay for the stolen liquor, fined up to $2,000, banned from Sheetz stores, publicly ridiculed online and forced to do public service in regards to the theft.
Are the police easier on white criminals?
The suspects are innocent until guilty in a court of law.
Breonna Taylor and Kenneth Walker's lives matter. The Louisville Metro Police said that they were dope pushing. The lawyers said they made a fatal mistake that costed Breonna her life and framed Kenneth, a lawful gun owner.
The shooting of Breonna Taylor is getting national coverage. Another person of color being killed by cops and of course the junk food media is working tarnishing her name. The woman was shot and killed by the Louisville Metro Police in a botched raid. According to her lawyers and newly appointed attorneys S. Lee Merritt and Benjamin Crump, the LMPD went to the wrong house. The homeowner shot at two of the cops. One was injured and treated for his injuries. Now the homeowner who I will name later will be charged with aggravated assault, attempted murder, and probably going to be charged with murder because the police were using force in an arrest and civilian was killed.
The 26-year old woman was shot eight times and was in her shirt and panties.
Family is planning on suing LMPD and the mayor asked the U.S. Justice Department to handle the matter.
Well there's news that one of the cops has a shoddy history and they believe he was the one who shot Breonna without remorse.
Brett Hankison was called a "dirty cop" by a cop. In a federal lawsuit, Kendrick Wilson said that Hankison has "vendetta" against people of color. The cop denies that allegation.
Taylor's family accused the LMPD of obtaining a search warrant used in a raid based on false information given to a judge.
It says Hankinson arrested Wilson three times over a two year period at bars where he worked as an off-duty security officer. The charges against Wilson stemmed from these incidents were dropped on two of these occasions. One case is still pending.
The suit says that the cop and Wilson were also involved in "a relationship with the same woman." It says the officer was "unfairly targeting" Wilson.
The allegations state the a judge issued a warrant on a detective's claim that a suspect was receiving postal packages of drugs at the location.
Det. Jonathan Mattingly, Officer Brett Hankison and Det. Myles Cosgrove. A federal lawsuit is being issued against the three. Hankison has already had a history of litgency. He is being sued by a former cop who is a rival.
In the early morning of March 13, Louisville Metro Police executed a "no-knock" raid on the home as a part of an investigation centered on two men suspected of selling drugs in the Russell neighborhood.
Breonna's home is not in Russell but at least 10 miles away from the location.
Just before 1am, the LMPD said they announced themselves as police before battering down the home. Breonna's boyfriend and homeowner Kenneth Walker were in bed.
Breonna's family and Kenneth Walker's lawyers dispute the claim. They said that police never identified themselves and Walker was lawfully allowed to carry a firearm. He shot at the cops thinking he was being robbed.
Police responded with gunfire shooting Breonna eight times.
Walker was detained and later charged on a state and federal sandwich. The cop who was shot was Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly who was grazed in the leg. He was treated and released.
Mattingly, Hankinson and officer Myles Cosgrove carried out the raid.
Taylor has no criminal history and worked for two local hospitals. Police shot at the home over 20 times.
Breonna's life mattered and she deserves justice.
The warrant which was approved by a judge the day before Taylor was killed was based on the belief that a suspect who had an address where Taylor and Walker lived. The suspect was arrested in a separate raid that same night more than 10 miles away.
One of the accused claimed that suspect Jamarcus Glover left the apartment where Taylor and Walker left two months before the raid was carried out. The U.S. Postal Service shipped a package to a "known drug house" says the detective in his report.
The inspector general for the USPS disputed the allegation. Tony Gooden said that he was never asked by the LMPD about any suspicious package being sent to Taylor and Walker.
"There's no packages of interest going there," said Gooden.
No-knocks are controversial. They are used to prevent suspects from obtaining firearms, destroying evidence and fleeing an attempted arrest. They are given approval by a federal judge and the U.S. Marshals along with the city police department execute a warrant to enter the property at times where the suspect is most likely lets his/her guard down. Most raids are conducted at 6am, 1pm and 9pm.
20 shots into toys and windows. Eight of them hit Breonna.
There are times many no-knock go wrong. Some are innocently killed by the law when these are executed.
Louisville mayor Greg Fischer and LMPD chief Steve Conrad said the U.S. Justice Department are going to be looking into the matter.
"My priority is always that the truth comes out. We can be transparent with the people of our city. And we can and we must also talk about the relationship between our police and our communities of color; past, present and future," said Fischer.
They also call for the Kentucky Commonwealth Bureau of Investigation to handle any evidence.
Kentucky's Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear said that there should be an independent counsel into the shooting.
The suspect Glover could face up to 30 years in federal time out for the drug charges.
Walker could face LIFE or DEATH in the state of Kentucky for shooting a cop. If he is released from the county lockup, he will lose his passport, his firearms, his computer and be placed on in-house until trial. He could also be given a federal term of 15 years since this was conducted by the U.S. Marshals and Louisville Metro Police Department.
The junk food media is going to tarnish Breonna's character.
Nonetheless the opinion, the fact matters. What happened and what should of not happened!
The status quo of the gun culture. Now is not the time to talk about gun violence!
If there were more security guards and more civilians (aka the good guy) with a gun.......
They learn how to use firearms from watching (or listening) to gangsta rap.
They watch violent movies.
They don't have fathers or mothers in their lives and it results in them committing criminal acts.
Look at his history with police....
Blah, blah, blah....
Moments of silence, street memorials, naming of public places, saying "Your heart goes out to...," lowering of flags and hashtags are platitudes. They are a huge waste of time. It's a man-made crisis created by a lazy ass government. They are enabling this. Donald J. Trump, Congress and the National Rifle Association are a bunch of lily-livered cowards. They are numb to gun violence.
Walker and two other men were arrested in raids across Louisville.
The "good guy" with a firearm is the most dangerous person to have a firearm. Matter of fact, the NICE GUYS are often the ones who are spurned by society. Bad relationships, losing your job, jealousy over promotions, family feuds and racism are typical NICE GUY issues.
NICE GUYS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS INDIVIDUALS WITH A FIREARM. THE NICE GUY GETS SPURNED BY SOCIETY. THEY TAKE REVENGE ON SOCIETY. RESTRAINING ORDERS ARE JUST A PIECE OF PAPER. THEY WILL NOT (I REPEAT) STOP A "MAD" INDIVIDUAL FROM OBTAINING A FIREARM.
Don't you just want to scream!?
Scream in the faces of these damn lawmakers whenever they offer their "thoughts and prayers" to every fucking mass shooting in the United States. They will offer their condolences and say a word vomit how they sympathize with the deceased. Some here will tell us that "now isn't the time to talk." Others will say that "the NRA has too much influence on gun laws."
Walker could face the death card if convicted.
We will talk about this for a few days and then we're off to another controversy. The next controversy would either be something done by Trump, a politician, an entertainer or we will experience another mass shooting. The next mass shooting will be even worse than the last one.
I repeat myself over and over again! I use the same old copy and paste. I hear the same trolls saying that there's nothing we can do. I keep hearing "concern" trolls telling us that it's their own fault for their own deaths. I hear the same old talking points about "good guys with guns" and "god's given rights."
Every time these folks offer "thoughts and prayers," "their condolences," "their hearts going out to," and "their apologies," they are not sincere. For every naming of a road, park, bench, building and holiday, it won't matter to the community. For every time they lower flags, offer moments of silence and candlelight vigils, we just offer "feel good-isms."
The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.
We have mass shootings in the United States everyday. We are the only country in the world that continues to do nothing about this. Donald J. Trump, Congress, the National Rifle Association and agitators in the junk food media have moved on from dealing with this. They're too busy sniping over partisan blame games. With Trump being impeached while in office, he's unlikely to focus on gun violence.
Trump and lawmakers elected to federal office made politics extremely toxic. It's not just the fault of our dear leader and lawmakers, but relentless agitators on the 24/7 cable news channels. They are profiting off division and divisiveness. The internet is also a problem. It's is a breeding ground for potential mass shooters. Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media outlets have been "ground zero" for disinformation, partisan threats and social activism. Incels and social outcasts find their outlets on sites that inspire them to cause harm to their fellow human beings.
It never happens in your community.......! Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. A mass shooting will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how "guns save lives." They don't. The only thing that survives a gun shooting is the gun.
FOR EVERY BAD COP, THERE WILL BE A DEAD COP! I DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET OR THE COP'S VERSION. GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES. THERE IS NO GOD! GOD IS NOT FIXING THIS!
We haven't forgotten about the many mass shootings in the United States. COVID-19 doesn't stop individuals from picking up firearms and killing others.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Are no-knock raids a good way of arresting potential suspects?
All polls that are conducted will contain a troll who will post or respond to the dumbest answers.
You are warned, do not use the services of (Jeffery) Shaun King. Please avoid this individual. He doesn't represent Black Lives Matter in anyway.
The junk food media is trying to taint an unarmed man's death as justified.
The Glynn County prosecutor is trying to smear the name of Ahmaud Arbery. They are releasing footage of a recent arrest to justify that he was looking for trouble. The junk food media is seizing upon this as a justified reason those two terrorists killed him.
And I heard that one of the terrorist's daughters posted Ahmaud's bloody body on social media.
There are calls for the daughter and guy who filmed the encounter to be prosecuted.
His mother wants those two terrorists to face the DEATH card for this. Mind you that Georgia prosecutors are considering it.
So this woman, Lindsay McMichael posted the image on social media. At the time, she was rightfully supportive of these terrorist's actions. She quickly learned the hard way of posting. She quickly pulled the image and shutdown her Facebook, YouTube and Snapchat profiles. Twitter is still active but hasn't been touched in years.
McMichaels said that the image with the words, "True Crime Fan."
White woman posts Ahmaud's dead body on social media.
When confronted about it, she at first denied ever posting it. But once they provided receipts, she owned up to it.
"I had no nefarious or malicious intent when I posted that picture. This thing is I'm a huge fan of true crime -- I listen to four or five podcast a week -- I'm constantly watching that sort of thing."
She later added, "It was more of a, Holy shit, I can't believe this has happened It was absolutely poor judgement."
Someone screenshot the graphic image.
In 2017, Arbery is shown on a police body camera being Tasered by a cop. The video shows a partially shirtless Arbery getting into a heated argument with the cop. According to the law, Arbery was sitting inside his vehicle in November 2017 when the cop Michael Kanago approached him.
Arbery was getting off from his job at Blue Beacon Truck Wash. He was parking his vehicle near railroad tracks in Brunswick when the cop approached his vehicle. The cop suspected that Arbrey was sitting inside his vehicle under the influence of marijuana. He questioned why he was sitting alone in his vehicle.
Arbery who was inside said to the cop he was relaxing. The cop asked for his identification and complied. Arbery was visibly upset over the pullover. They get into an heated argument and the cop called for backup.
The cop then proceeds to look inside the car and Arbery has told him he didn't have consent to his vehicle being searched. Then another cop comes to scene and threatened to Tased him. They argue for a few more minutes and Arbery asked he free to go. The cop then tells he's free to go but he couldn't operate the vehicle because his license was invalid.
There's another video showing him being arrested for shoplifting from a store.
S. Lee Merit and Benjamin Crump, the attorneys representing Arbery's family slammed the woman and Glynn County Police for their slandering of an unarmed man.
Arbery being questioned by cops and Tased.
The family calls it an attempt undermine the fact that Arbery was a victim of an unjustified shooting.
White extremists and tokens like Andy Ngo seize on this as justifiable for his death. They often single out a Black man's past history with crime to say he was posing a threat.
"We can't (bring attention) because of this corona[virus] stuff," said Wanda Cooper, Ahmaud's mother. "We thought about walking out where the shooting occurred, just doing a little march, but we can't be out right now."

Trump cancels the Obama portrait ceremony. He is trying to use Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton as a wedge issue against Joe Biden.
Donald J. Trump has formally banned the Obamas from the White House. He will not hold a commencement for the unveiling of Barack and Michelle Obama's formal presidential artwork.
This is the latest controversy brewing between the former president and current one. Trump has called Obama an "incompetent president" after he heard the former call his COVID-19 pandemic response "an absolute chaotic disaster."
NBC News reports that Trump is not going to hold a ceremony at The White House.
Obama has stated that he's not interested in the event. He said he rather wait until Trump is out of office before the portrait is released.
For years, first term presidents have held ceremonies in the East Room to unveil the portraits of their immediate predecessors. Obama did so for George W. Bush in 2012.
This is unprecedented. And just like the White House Correspondents Dinner, Trump has cancelled many events that he perceives as an enemy. Trump had refused to go to the WHCD since he's became the president.
Trump has irritated Obama for years.
Obama warned Trump about the challenges he'll face once he took office. Trump ignored him.
During the height of his reelection, Trump was ranting about Obama's birth certificate. He was demanding Obama released his birth certificate. Trump was called a "carnival barker" by Obama.
When the junk food media announced the United States had found and killed Osama bin Laden, it interrupted Celebrity Apprentice which Trump was hosting at the time.
Obama had strayed from criticizing Trump.
Trump's failure to take control of the coronavirus pandemic has finally forced Obama to speak out.
Although Obama didn't mention Trump by name, the remarks hit him where it hurts.
"More than anything, this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they're doing," Obama said during a virtual commencement address for 2020 graduates."A lot of them aren't pretending to be in charge."
Joe Biden has referred to Trump as "President Tweet" in a set of rebukes. Trump and his allies have started this distraction about unmasking. Now that Trump forced Bill Barr to drop the federal charges against Michael Flynn, the far-white is now calling Biden corrupt for Flynn's deliberate attempt to make Russian operatives aware of Obama's sanctions.
During Anderson Cooper's broadcast, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said that Trump is morbidly obese.
When she was asked about Trump taking hydroxychloroquine, the House Speaker said that due to his age and weight, he would be putting his own life at risk for taking an unproven drug.
So far #PlumpTrump and #PresidentPlump have been trending on social media.
A California ranch owner shares pictures of Biden accuser. The accuser's lawyer told her to stop sharing photos and her claims of being hustled.
Alexandra Tara Reade McCabe Moulton has finally responded one of her former friends who accused her of stealing money from her nonprofit mare rescue in California. Her lawyer, Douglas Wigdor has issued a "cease and desist" letter against Pregnant Mare Rescue, a horse rescue near Santa Cruz.
Reade who accused Democratic presumptive nominee Joe Biden of sexual assault in 1993.
Reade has became a distraction to the Democrats and Biden. Many on the far-extremes believe that Biden sexually assaulted Reade.
Biden had fiercely denied the allegations and asked for any complaints made by her to be drawn to light. Reade on her part said she believes Biden is hiding her complaints in his personal records at the University of Delaware.
Her lawyer wants the university to unseal records.
Reade had maintained that she was sexually assaulted. But in 2019, she claimed that Biden touched her inappropriately but didn't amount to sexual assault.
This woman went to an extremist agitator's podcast to share her story a few days after Super Tuesday.
Tara Reade at the ranch with Hummer stitching up her horse.
Reade went to Katie Halper's Rolling Stone podcast to tell her story. Then went to Krystal Ball's The Hill's Rising podcast and Amy Goodman's Democracy Now! podcast. Then prominent members of Bernie Sanders camp started pushing this.
Other extremist agitators like (Jeffery) Shaun King, Glenn Greenwald, Rich McHugh, Nathan Robinson, Benjamin Dixon, Tim Black and Ryan Grim started pushing it on social media.
Reade was complaining about the junk food media not talking to her. She claimed that CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post and others ignored her story and were protecting Biden.
A Vox reporter named Laura McGann had communicated with Reade when she first came out. She talked to her and heard her claims. She also confronted her on her story changing during the primaries. Reade said that folks were calling her a "Russian Agent" and she felt that was ruining her reputation with jobs.
The allegations are categorically false.
Then PBS Newshour had interviewed 74 former staffers for Biden. They said that Biden never did anything inappropriate while he was Senator and Vice President of the United States.
Then the most damaging was The Politico report that came out saying that former friends and acquaintances said that Reade often used Biden and her misfortunes to get free room and board.
One of them, Lynn Hummer said that Reade bilked her out $1400 for a horse she adopted. She couldn't afford to pay for the horse's checkup so she had the vet's bill mailed to Hummer.
Hummer claimed Reade would often borrow money from her. When she was participating in donation rallies, she would steal items and mislead people about the prizes.
Hummer said that Reade was fleeing to Georgia to escape her former husband.
Hummer went to social media to slam Reade for making up claims to ruin Biden. She called her "manipulative" and "a liar."
Reade got upset and told her lawyer to cease and deist to stop her from going to The Politico and other outlets. Hummer said that Reade is trying to intimidate her.
"These harassing, intimidating and false statements are unlawful and are clearly intended to tarnish and impugn Ms. Reade's character and reputation. Let this letter serve a final demand for you to cease and desist from engaging in this or similar conduct immediately."
Widgor complained that Hummer's social media claiming that Reade "lied to America" and the theft claim were false.
Reade had threatened Hummer on social media back in April.
"A lawyer will be in contact with your for defaming me," Reade said on social media. "You may not continue to spread false information regarding my life."
Lynn Hummer said that Reade stole from her ranch. Now that Reade issued a lawsuit, Hummer is considering firing back with a lawsuit against her.
After receiving a letter, Hummer hired an attorney who now accuses Reade and her lawyers of trying to silence his client.
"I find it very ironic that her attorney is trying to bully witnesses when he is claiming that is what's happening to her in the Joe Biden case," Hummer's attorney, Pat Harris said to The Politico. "The last thing in the world that Tara Reade wants to do is meet Lynn Hummer in the courtroom."
Hummer said that Reade has mental issues.
"She has a problem," Hummer said. "She is a very clever, manipulative..... I do think she's a liar."
Harris added, "We'll be more than happy to provide actual physical evidence that backs up Ms. Hummer's story. All Read has is a lawyer trying to bully my client."
Lynn—Apologies for getting the name wrong, but I’m prone to typos and being 🇵🇱polish 😆 Here’s another pic of your beautiful no-kill sanctuary and rescue. You guys are doing a great job. @mare_rescuepic.twitter.com/IKw8uJu1HX
Worth noting, this no-kill sanctuary relies on donations as a nonprofit, but Lynn Hummel claims to be debt-free and “not hurting for money” personally in any way. Chris went to the ranch and met Lynn Hummer. She basically told him that Reade praised Biden and bragged about how she did work for him. Over 15 people who were interviewed for The Politico had disputed her claims and said that she's burned bridges whenever she met them.
Used to treat malaria and lupus, Donald Trump claims he taken hydroxychloroquine to prevent the coronavirus.
Donald J. Trump takes a pill and he couldn't get hard.
The American president admits that he's either got COVID-19 or he's taking hydroxychloroquine to treat the possibility of catching the deadly virus.
He told the junk food media he's been taking the pill for the last two weeks.
Again, "What do you have to lose?"
This has generated controversy. Many medical experts say that anyone who is taking hydroxychloroquine could be dangerous. He touts this as a "game changer" and wanted the government to issuing this to the public.
He asked the White House doctor if he could take the unproven treatment despite having no symptoms, adding he's been taking a pill a day for about a week. I wonder if he is willing to prove that in front of the American people.
Trump is a habitual liar.
"I'm still fine," Trump said.
The FDA last month specifically warned against taking hydroxychloroquine "outside a hospital setting or a clinical trial due to the risk of heart rhythm problems."
Trump definitely stated that he's taking the pill along with zinc.
He also stated that he's received "a lot of positive letters" offering good feedback of hydroxychloroquine and insisted even if ti's not effective, he claimed, "You're not going to get sick or die."
Trump's words matter. Some idiot would be taking this pill and possibly die from an unproven treatment. He also made those stupid remarks about folks injecting disinfectants into their bodies.
You tell me if you should trust Trump when he says he's done something.
Folks who got sick at the White House include 16 U.S. Secret Service agents, a chauffeur to the president, the Deputy White House Press Secretary and Press Secretary to Mike Pence, Kate Miller and members of the U.S. Capitol Police tested positive for the coronavirus.
Here's the map.
There are 48 states and two U.S. territories relaxing their stay-at-home orders. However, the number has not decreased and folks are not taking this seriously. In states like Texas, Florida, California, New York and Georgia, you see Americans not socially distancing. You see Americans not wearing facial protection. You see Americans believe that the worse is over. You also see Americans protest against their governors and state health officials over keeping businesses that have large gatherings from opening.
We have over 100,000 Americans killed from the coronavirus. The entertainment industry is completely shutdown. The hotel, resort and casino industry is shutdown. Local governments and public/[private colleges and universities have laid off workers. We have over 40 million Americans off the labor force. We have nearly 50 million workers risking their lives to serve. Yet, we have our president tweeting, insulting, complaining and trying to deflect from the mess he's created.
Calling Barack Obama an incompetent president is pretty rich. Calling Joe Biden a pedophile is pretty rich as well. Donald J. Trump needs to stare in the motherfucking mirror. He's been in charge for nearly four years. He has over 25 women who accused him of sexual abuse. Trump has no room to talk.
Remember Trump said that Americans should inject themselves with disinfectants to prevent COVID-19.
This election year is very important. If you want this nonsense to continue on, vote for Trump.
I can't really say nothing much about the Democrats. All I am gonna say is that we better get our asses together and support Joe Biden or risk another four years of this.
Here's things to remember about the coronavirus.
1. Wash your hands frequently
2. Do not touch your face (mouth, nose and eyes)
3. Cough into your elbow instead of your hands.
4. Keep a safe distance (at least 6 to 10 feet) from individuals.
5. If you're sick, please stay home.
6. There is no treatment or cure for the COVID-19.
7. Follow state and federal laws regarding this.
8. Do not hoard items like toilet paper, bread, gloves, hand sanitizer, etc.
9. Use social media like Facebook Messenger, Meet, Google Duo, Skype or social media to connect.
10. COVID-19 can live on surfaces for more than 72 hours. Including steel, plastic and cardboard.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.
Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19.

Rep. Justin Amash (L-MI) drops his presidential bid.
The independent lawmaker turned Libertarian is no longer seeking a presidential bid. Rep. Justin Amash (L-MI) will now seek another term as congressman from Grand Rapids.
The former Republican turned on Donald J. Trump and was the sole member to vote to impeach him in 2019. He and Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) have fallen out of favor with Trump and he no longer allows them to attend strategy retreats.
When he announced back in April he was considering a presidential exploratory committee, many thought that he was going to run as an independent to siphon votes off Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee.
He decided to run for the Libertarian Party. It turns out that the party national delegation felt that Amash is too Republican to be a Libertarian. Many Libertarians didn't vibe with his campaign.
He couldn't muster enough people to back his bid for president. So after this few weeks of speculation, he decided to end the bid.
"After much reflection, I've concluded that circumstances don't lend themselves to my success as a candidate for president this year, and therefore I will not be a candidate," he said on social media.
Amash said the decision was difficult. He said that the Democratic Party and Republican Party have went too far extreme and he said his vision of governance would have been appealing to both parties.
Amash served the 3rd U.S. Congressional District in Michigan since 2011. He's facing a tough challenge. As an independent congressman he's facing a fight from the right and a Democratic opponent.
He and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) have the most to lose. Tlaib, a freshman lawmaker who is part of the Squad is facing a rematch with Brenda Jones, a one term congresswoman who served the remaining term of John Conyers. She lost the primary race but won a special primary.
Jones is trying to unseat Tlaib.
Tlaib faced controversy after she encouraged Bernie Bros to boo Hillary Clinton. And said she doesn't give a fuck about people hating it.
Amash had earlier considered running for the Republican primary. However he wouldn't be able to be on the ballot because Ronna Romney McDaniel blocked Republican caucuses and primaries.
Democrat Steven Horsford had an affair with a thot.
Republicans have no grounds to stand on. They nominated and the American people elected Donald J. Trump. A man who has a history of cheating on his three wives. A man who has a history of sexual abuse allegations. A man who allegedly paid two adult entertainers to silence them from speaking out.
But since the far-extremes are still obsessed with the Tara Reade allegations, the Democrats have to answer to every #BelieveWomen.
Enter Rep. Steven Horsford (D-NV). The Las Vegas area lawmaker who is up for reelection admits to having an affair with a staffer when he was then an aide to Harry Reid, the former Minority Leader of the Senate.
The lawmaker acknowledged he carried on a long-term affair with Gabriela Linder, a former aide for Reid. She used the pseudonym "Love Jones" and started a podcast to relay her account of the affair.
She agreed to do an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Friday. She said that Horsford offered her financial support, introduced her to political connections and filmed a segment for her young son's YouTube show featuring his congressional staff.
Gabriela Linder puts her man on blast. She told the junk food media that she dated a married man who is a prominent lawmaker. Rep. Steven Horsford (D-NV) got to explain that to his wife.
Reached for comment, Horsford provided a statement:
"It is true that I had a previous relationship outside of my marriage over the course of several years. I'm deeply sorry to all of those who have been impacted by this very poor decision, more importantly my wife and family. Out of concern for my family during this challenging time, I ask that our privacy is respected."
Linder and Horsford had a nearly decade long affair. He was then a staffer for Reid at the Nevada's office. He met Linder at an event and then they agreed to meet each other through a friend.
They had numerous trysts until September 2019. The two continued to stay in contact until April.
Horsford a married father of three. Guess he's got a lot of explaining to do.
It was Linder who finally acknowledged that she "loved" Horsford even though she knew he was married.
Linder said that she didn't want to hurt Horsford but does stress that he should not seek reelection.
"If this was a story in 2018, he wouldn't have run. He obtained his position under false pretenses that he was a family man and a man of God. He should take a step back, atone, and if people are satisfied, then he can come back to politics."
Horsford represented the 4th U.S. Congressional District in Nevada. He served one term from 2013 to 2015. He lost his seat to Cresent Hardy, a Republican. He held the seat briefly before Ruben Kihuen, a Democrat ran. When Kihuen was caught up in a sex scandal, he choose not to run for reelection. Horsford would end up winning back his seat. He is a second time freshman lawmaker.
Horsford has no indications of quitting his bid for reelection.
He held the seat briefly from 2013 to 2015.
Linder has this podcast called "Mistress for Congress" listen to them here.
Let me make this clear: I don't care what he does.
What two in the bedroom is their business. But since the Democrats and Republicans hold themselves to higher standards, they should not be using the "family values" charade whenever they're running for politics.
Horsford is free to do whatever wants. He knew the risk and now that is caught literally with his pants down, he should address that with his wife, his family, his marriage counselor and his lawyers.
Phyllis George passed away. First woman in sportsbroadcasting.
A well known businesswoman, actress and sportscaster passed away on Thursday.
Phyllis George passed away at the age of 70.
She was then wife of John Y. Brown, Jr., the former Democratic governor of Kentucky.
Phyllis Ann George was born in Denton, Texas in 1949. She was considered a pioneer in journalism.
She became the first co-anchor of the football pregame show The NFL Today.
Her death was confirmed by her children, CNN's correspondent Pamela Brown and entrepreneur Lincoln Brown.
George was a classical pianist in her youth, she attended North Texas State University before becoming the 50th Miss America in 1971. Her television career started when she began hosting Candid Camera.
CNN reports that Phyllis said that crown catapulted her to national fame. "It was the springboard to everything I've done in my life," George said.
As Miss America, George had made multiple appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and other talk shows, which led Robert Wussler, the president of CBS Sports, to recruit her for a sportscasting job. She joined The NFL Today in 1975, working alongside Brent Musburger, Irv Cross and Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder. She stayed on show until 1979 when her husband decided to run for politics.
She married John Y. Brown, Jr. in 1979. Shortly after their marriage, he decided to run for, and eventually won, the race for Kentucky governor. The local press affectionately called Phyllis "flypaper" because everywhere the Browns went, the crowds turned out for her, not him, much to the pride and amusement of her new husband.
Her children called her Hurricane Phyl. Because she was energetic and boundless.
She served as First Lady of Kentucky from 1979 to 1983. Brown is a businessman and politician who helped Kenny Rogers launch his restaurant chain Kenny Rogers Roasters. Brown served one term as governor of Kentucky.
Still as First Lady of Kentucky, she did have an active role with CBS Sports. She had an opportunity to cover horse racing. She covered the Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. She also hosted People Magazine on television.
After leaving Frankfort, CBS offered her a job as co-anchor to CBS Morning News.
She made news with very famous celebrities, politicians and people in the news. She generated controversy when she interviewed a wrongly convicted man. Gary Dotson was set up by a teenager who claimed she was raped by him. The woman, Cathleen Webb made up a story claiming that Dotson raped her. She had sex with her boyfriend and lied to her adoptive parents. She made the claim that Dotson kidnapped her, raped her and threatened to kill her. Webb eventually told the junk food media she made up the claim because she didn't want to get in trouble. Dotson had spent years in the iron college.
Pamela Brown, a CNN reporter said her mother Phyllis George was a trailblazer in journalism.
George hosted the two. At the time, Dotson was upset that he saw the accuser. Webb did formally apologize to Dotson. What would have ended on a handshake was egged on by George to "hug it out."
That was widely condemned by those in the press. Soon after, George was replaced with Maria Shriver. Shriver is the daughter of Eunice Kennedy and Sargent Shriver. She went on to marry actor Arnold Schwarzenegger who went on later to become governor of California. She became the First Lady of California from 2003 to 2011.
Phyllis went on to become a businesswoman. She created food products and beauty care products.
Phyllis George Beauty marketed a line of cosmetics and skincare products that were sold on HSN.
She wrote five book about crafts, one for dieting and an autobiography.
Phyllis is the founder of the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft and was an avid folk and traditional arts collector.
George passed away from complications from Polycythemia vera on May 14 in Lexington.
