Before we close out the month of March, I want to address the aftermath of gun violence. Three surviving individuals who had ties to the most brutal mass shootings in U.S. history committed suicide.
1. Sydney Aiello. The 19-year old teen committed suicide. Her mother Cara confirmed the news of her death this week. Aiello, a student at Florida Atlantic University died on Sunday.
Aiello was on the campus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. She lost two of her friends in the February 2018 mass shooting.
2. Calvin Desir. The 16-year old took his own life as well. He was the second student to commit suicide. The teen's death is undetermined but some of his family members determined that he committed suicide after watching the Parkland massacre happen before his eyes.
Desir was a sophomore who was currently attended the school.
The effects of gun violence and depression.
3. Jeremy Richman, the father of Sandy Hook victim Avielle committed suicide. He was one of the many parents who wanted the government to change gun laws in the United States. The far-white has often mocked his child's death by making claims that the victims of these latest mass shootings are crisis actors.
Richman is survived by a wife, his deceased daughter and two children.
The deaths are a result of the post traumatic stress of surviving a mass shooting. Individuals who survive gun violence never truly recover.
Sandy Hook father committed suicide.
Thanks to folks like Alex Jones and The Gateway Pundit, the stress finally takes a toll.
The infamous kookspiracy nut was in deposition this month. He is hoping that the families of Sandy Hook and Parkland don't bankrupt his InfoWars empire.
The terrorists who commit these criminal acts often are driven by factors like rejection. These folks destroy lives.
Trump and WWE president Vince McMahon. His wife, Linda McMahon is SBA chief. She is resigning to join Trump 2020.
Another high ranking Trump official is getting fired out the cannon. The former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment and current Small Business Administration chief Linda McMahon is leaving the post to join America First, MAGA 2020, the Donald J. Trump PAC.
"Linda McMahon has done an incredible job as the head of the Small Business Administration, she has been a superstar," Trump said told reporters. "She'll be leaving, she's going to go and help us with a very very important year-and-a-half that we have coming up."
"So I just want to again I want to thank the job that you've done," Trump said.
McMahon, the wife of president Vince McMahon had ran for U.S. Senate twice in Connecticut.
McMahon and her husband Vince, founders of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), have known Trump since 1988, when his Atlantic City casino-hotel, the Trump Plaza, hosted WrestleMania IV. (The event was headlined by Randy "Macho Man" Savage and Ted DiBiase, now an ordained minister in Mississippi.)
WrestleMania V was also held at Trump Plaza, the only venue in the world ever to host back-to-back WrestleMania events.
WWE had inducted that moron into their Hall of Fame. Trump is good friends with the McMahon family. He has often thrown large funds into Linda's campaigns.
Vince, Shane and Linda McMahon have donated to Trump's presidential campaign.
Trump hasn't hinted on who's going to replace her. But I have a feeling that Herman Cain will be the next choice.
The horse ride back. Atlanta rapper Lil Nas X release a song that makes it to the country music boards. Billboard pulls it off the charts.
Rapper Lil Nas X releases a two minute song and it races up the charts. The country music stations are playing it. The single heads to Billboard and becomes a part of the Hot 100, the top country and top hip-hop/R&B charts.
It was independently released on December 3, 2018, and became popular in early 2019 through the social media app TikTok. The song reached the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and number 19 on the Hot Country Songs chart before the magazine disqualified it from being included on the latter.
It also made the Top 40 in charts around the world, including in Belgium, New Zealand, Ireland, and Norway.
A few days later, Billboard removes the single from the top country charts claiming it doesn't meet the criteria.
It's not just a hip-hop themed song, it's actually a country single.
"Old Town Road" made Billboard history when it became the first song to simultaneously chart on the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Country Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts in March 2019.
However, Billboard quietly removed "Old Town Road" from its Hot Country chart for "not [embracing] enough elements of today’s country music".
Serious trolling from Lil Nas X
Lil Nas X stated he was "extremely disappointed" by the decision.
Country music fans and hip-hop fans are calling out Billboard for that. They believe the decision was racially bias towards the entertainer.
Billboard also addressed critics who suggested that the rapper was being singled out because of his race, because pop crossover songs are routinely included on country charts.
"Billboard's decision to take the song off of the country chart had absolutely nothing to do with the race of the artist," the statement said.
Lil Nas X was recently signed to Columbia Records.
The song has spawned dance videos and got a shout-out on social media from Justin Bieber. Texas Tech’s basketball team posted a video of the team dancing to the song in the locker room and country singer Jake Owen tweeted at the rapper, saying he wanted to jam with him.
Shawn Corey Carter, known as Jay-Z is going to be the legal representation for Lil Nas X.
White woman gets light sentence for brutal attack.
It's amazing that Donald J. Trump refuses to acknowledge criminal justice reform. I guess he is looking towards the "both sides" argument of criminal acts.
There was a Washington woman who just got served two days and community service after shoving another woman off a Vancouver, Washington bridge.
Tay'lor Smith was crying in court as the judge handed her the most lightest sentence ever given in a blatant felonious assault. This week she was served two days in the iron college, handed a hefty fine and told to do work crew.
Clark County District Court Judge Darvin Zimmerman gave the 19-year old woman time in the iron college for the injuries imposed on her former friend.
Smith plead guilty to misdemeanor reckless endangerment as a part of the plea agreement. Had she went to trial, she would have gotten felonious assault and reckless endangerment with intent to kill.
The victim had massive injuries.
Back in August, Smith pushed, Jordan Holgerson off a bridge over Moulton Falls. The video that was shared on social media clearly shows Smith shoving a scared Holgerson off the bridge.
The fall was 50-feet and broke Holgerson's ribs, caused severe bruising and punctured her lungs.
The young woman now has therapy to regain strength, pain long-lasting, panic attacks and anxiety.
Holgerson also cried in the court as she read her statement detailing how this incident became a life-altering experience.
"It cost me and my family lost wages not to mention stress and heartache."
The victim speaks to the judge about the ordeal.
Smith apologized to the young woman and told her that she will continue to do her best to be forgiven by the incident.
Donald J. Trump, the most divisive human being to ever lead this country is obsessed with Jussie Smollett and wants the Department of Justice to do a formal inquiry into the matter.
If this incident was a Black woman pushing a white woman off a bridge, almost immediately he would have responded with some form of tweet calling for the "fullest prosecution according to law."
Again, white women get away with stuff like this.
Remember that white woman who tried to poison her college roommate. She rubbed tampons over her food and meddled with her facial cream. She deliberately tried to make life miserable for the young Black woman.
She got a slap on the wrist and kicked out of a college.
Cardi B faces heat for allegedly drugging men and robbing them. She was then a prostitute who did it to pay off pimps.
Bill Cosby found three to ten. He was convicted of raping Andrea Constand. She accused Cosby of drugging her drink and molesting her. Cosby is currently serving his time in a Pennsylvania iron college.
Now the junk food media is calling out entertainers who should face criminal charges for sexual abuse.
Enter Grammy award winning entertainer and social media darling, Belcalis Marlenis Cephus (nee Alamanzar). You may know her as Cardi B.
Cardi B facing heat over her past. The entertainer said that she was a prostitute and she deliberately honey trapped men. That means she would befriend them, drug them and stole money for her dope boyfriends.
Now people are calling for the law to look into the matter.
@iamcardib sometimes you talk too much and too loud. I don’t wish downfall on successful peps, HOWEVER!! you bragged about the same wrong doings that got one of my Idol Legacy ruined!! 🤦🏾♂️
Vox had reported on a video that surfaced recently. In the video, Cardi says was made three years ago, made its way onto Twitter last weekend and features Cardi reminiscing about the time when she worked as a stripper — a time when, she said, “I’d drug ni**as up and I’d rob them.”
Cardi has since confirmed the video is real and apologized for it after it caused an uproar on social media. “I made the choices I did at the time because I had very limited options,” she wrote on an Instagram post on Tuesday, adding, “I have a past that I can’t change we all do.”
For some fans, though, Cardi’s past is beyond the pale. Tweeting under the hashtag #SurvivingCardiB — a reference to the Lifetime docuseries about R. Kelly’s alleged sexual abuse — many have compared Cardi’s actions to those of both Kelly and the similarly disgraced Bill Cosby
“you bragged about the same wrong doings that got one of my Idol Legacy ruined!!” wrote one Bill Cosby fan, who, in a bit of selective fury, was apparently outraged not just because Cardi says she robbed men, but also because she used to be a stripper. “And you think we gonna let this fly? You next!!”
The rapper responded to the controversy by posting a lengthy long statement "apologizing but not apologizing" for her past.
So many folks are dismissing this. Others are seeing this as Black outrage by two lens. Some believe that the same standards should be held to every entertainer.
Is Cardi B is no different from Bill Cosby and R. Kelly?
Should we condone this or denounce this as sexual abuse?
Trump decides to meddle in the Jussie Smollett controversy.
Okay, we are now using federal resources to go after political enemies.
Whereas we have individuals who have committed far worse criminal acts in this country alone. This imbecile openly embraces kookspiracy theories (i.e. Seth Rich's murder). He has vilified American lawmakers, those who worked for the FBI, went to social media to rally online harassment and Fox News to amplify public dissent.
Yet, he was not charged with a criminal act. Seven of his allies were charged with criminal acts. Donald J. Trump clearly did wrong doing but managed to get away with it.
Earlier this morning, Trump tweeted his disgust for the charges being dropped against Empire actor Jussie Smollett.
FBI & DOJ to review the outrageous Jussie Smollett case in Chicago. It is an embarrassment to our Nation!
So he wants to use the FBI and Department of Justice to go after Smollett.
Instead of taking an impartial side, he fully went on the "guilty by public opinion." The imbecile may have tainted the case.
"I think that case is an absolute embarrassment to our country, and somebody has to at least take a very good hard look at it," Trump told reporters at the White House, echoing a tweet he sent earlier in the day.
Speaking as he left for an evening political rally in Michigan, Trump did not explain what, if anything, federal authorities could do about Smollett after local prosecutors in Chicago decided to drop the case against him.
Trump's critics said the president is playing racial politics with the Smollett case, seeking to undercut the victims of real racial violence that is on the rise.
"By claiming a false attack, Smollett tried to exploit the hate @realDonaldTrump has stirred," tweeted David Axelrod, former adviser to President Barack Obama. "Now, predictably, Trump is moving to exploit Smollett’s exploitation. Talk about a vicious circle!"
Trump wants entertainers who spurn him to suffer.
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, citing Trump's history of race relations, said the president should “sit this one out.”
The Chicago Police are so upset some of their members are going to take "sick days" to protest the state's declining charges against the embattled entertainer. They want to sent a bill to the entertainer for the time spent for the investigation.
Oh, yeah, why don't they pay off those families that had their children shot and killed by the Chicago Police. Should the citizens force the Chicago Police to bill the victims of the most recent raid on a local family's home. The woman who lived there had the police enter her home while she was celebrating her son's birthday.
Smollett was written out of the final episodes of Empire. It's unclear whether Fox may renew the show or cancel it. The possibility of renewal only seems likely but for a final season.
Jordan Peele's blockbuster movie Us is number one in the nation. Monkeypaw Productions and Universal Pictures announced this movie is number one in the United States.
Friday was the release of Us and it was a success.
Peele is becoming a powerful figure in Black cinema.
The movie featuring Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke and Elisabeth Moss is one of the scariest horror movies in 2019. It is a movie that features Nyong'o as a woman who vacations with her parents in California.
The woman, Adelaide Thomas (Nyong'o) goes into a funhouse and she encounters a doppelganger of herself in a hall of mirrors. When she returns with her family, their lives are turned upside down.
People have said that this movie will make you jump.
I am planning on seeing this movie.
Let's look at the trailer.
Congratulations to Jordan Peele and Lupita Nyong'o for the success of Us.
On a lighter note, I'd like to take a break from the barrage of bad news and politics to show the beauty of John Singer Sargent's muse and George Barse's beloved wife Rosina Ferrara. Although she's long gone, her beauty endures in the numerous paintings, drawings, and statues all over the world. I give you the images of Ms. Rosina Ferrara:
When I was four years old, I had the police came over and ruined my cake. That's what this little boy will be saying when he gets older. He will never forget the moment the law broke down his mom's door, raided the home, smashed the gifts and ruined the party for everyone.
For what reason?
Just to get a suspect!
While Chicago Police were fuming at Jussie Smollett over his criminal charges being dropped, a local mother and her family filed a federal lawsuit against the agency for busting down their door and ruining a birthday party for a toddler. They entered the home on suspicion of a suspect being there.
Turns out the suspect left the property years ago and the new owner was unaware of this. She was throwing her four year son a party and the Chicago Police come guns ablazing.
The family who lived the South Side filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the city. They accused the police of using excessive force. They had some of the cops point firearms at children.
The traumatized 7-year old girl Samari Boswell said that cops were swearing at her mom, her aunt, her grandma and her brother 4-year old TJ Boswell.
This happened on February 10, 2019, one week after Smollett fiasco.
The family said that the Chicago Police destroyed the home, smashed the birthday cake, yelled profanities and insults at the family.
"they were saying F words and stuff," Samari Boswell said. "It was horrible."
Mother, Stephanie Bures, tearfully told the local junk food media that she didn't even know why they came to her home. She is a hard working mother and doesn't even cause trouble for the community.
The young woman's aunt was livid.
Kiqiana Jackson repeatedly demanded why they came through the door, asked for badges, and told them they had no business being here.
A young girl with her mother describe who Chicago P.D. ruined her brother's birthday.
"I wanted to know why were they there. Who are you? Show us a search warrant. I guess I asked for a search warrant one too many times, and he was like, 'Arrest her'"
Jackson said that they destroyed a big screen television, they threw trash over the room, they made a complete mess of the young woman's home.
They also accused the cops of covering their badges and refusing to give out their names or badge numbers.
This wasn't the last time the Chicago Police did that. The local junk food media pointed to four recent events where the law raided the wrong house and pointed guns at children. Warrants weren't turned over until police were leaving the home.
Ebony Tate said they did that to her home.
"They gave me the search warrant after they tore up the house."
Peter Mendez was only 9-years old when he and his brother were subjected to this abuse.
"Just the saddest moment," he said while crying.
Rahm Emanuel is leaving. The next mayor could fire top cop Eddie Johnson out the cannon.
A furious Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson was too busy condemning Jussie Smollett to realize that his police department is still doing this shit and getting away with it. It's a good thing that Rahm Emanuel is leaving politics. He was supposed to be the transformative mayor.
He was then Barack Obama's chief of staff and a former U.S. lawmaker. Under his two terms, Chicago has seen a spike in murders and police incompetence.
Laquan McDonald's death was one of the biggest scandals plaguing the Chicago Division of Police.
The death of that teen by that dirty cop makes it clear that Chicago Police have been getting away with a whole lot of things. The citizens are either too afraid to speak or they're dead.
Jussie Smollett managed to piss of the Chicago Police
This makes it even more interesting that given that Jussie Smollett managed to beat a state and federal sandwich, makes me more assertive.
Progressives and some conservatives are calling for criminal justice reform.
Entertainers and powerful lawmakers managed to beat criminal convictions. I bet you money that those mentioned below will escape some from of criminal indictment.
Jussie Smollett, Donald J. Trump, Paul Manafort, Felicity Huffman, Lori Loughlin, Michael Avenatti, Donald Trump, Jr., Roger Stone, Michael Flynn, Roger Ailes, Rupert Murdoch, Bill O'Reilly, R. Kelly, Sean "Softball" Hannity, Michael Cohen, Rush Limbaugh, Jeffrey Epstein, Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, Oliver North, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, Aaron Schock and numerous others I forgot to mention.
Yeah, their powerful lawyers and money can buy freedom. Can their money buy a soul to go along with it?
The charges against a well known entertainer who allegedly paid men to rough his ass up were dropped. An emergency hearing was scheduled during which charges were dropped and the entertainer paid a hefty bond and walked out a free man.
Conservatives just this week were celebrating that imbecile beating a federal indictment. Now they are calling for blood and demand people to head to the iron college because of this.
Walking free.
I guess if you're rich and powerful, you can escape a criminal charge. Ask, Donald J. Trump, the face of white privilege and elitism. If you're a well known gay actor who has a good friend in high places, sure enough you can walk free.
The very same conservatives who cheer when a dirty cop gets away with murdering an unarmed Black teen or man now complain, scream and demand justice to those of color who beat the system.
Empire saw a 45% ratings drop. The Fox drama could be on the chopping block thanks to Jussie Smollett. The actor who is best known for playing Jamal Lyon, an openly gay musician will be written out of the final episodes of the season.
Smollett who is openly gay in real life cause a huge controversy.
The Chicago Police accused the actor of paying two men to serve him a knuckle style chili with a death soda (bleach). They placed noose on his neck.
He was taken to a local hospital and released the next day.
Smollett accused two white guys with Make America Great Again hats of the attack. The actor said to the law that the men yelled racial and homophobic remarks at him.
"This is MAGA country."
Well the Chicago Police did investigating into the claims and found that the story didn't add up. The description of the individuals were not the ones on the video. Smollett pointed to two men who were seen near the attack.
Two stage actors were detained after arriving from a boarding flight. The two men were from Nigeria. They were brought into the Chicago Police for questioning.
The two were extras for the drama and personal trainers for Smollett. Abel and Ola Osundario were the key witnesses and the whistle blowers to the controversy.
Abel and Ola Osundario were paid to give Jussie Smollett a personal workout.
They told the law that they were spotted in a hardware store and convenience store the night Smollett claim the attack occurred. They said that he paid them a hefty amount of money to rough him up. They claimed that Smollett wanted to generate publicity and keep himself from being killed off in the ending season.
They provided checks, they had a receipt for a rope and the have phone records.
The law began to ask Smollett for phone records. He said no to the detectives.
So they demanded he come into the police station to recap his story. Smollett said, not without an attorney. Soon people started to question and came to the conclusion he faked the attack.
Once two weeks passed, the Cook County prosecutors decided to throw the book at Smollett. He was indicted on 44 charges ranging from wire fraud to filing a false police report. He was given a hefty bond and told to lose his passport.
Smollett would hire Mark Geragos and post bond. More on Geragos later.
Smollett would maintain his innocence. He returned to the Empire set with some furious at him. Lee Daniels, the show's creator threatened to "blacklist" him if the charges were true,
Smollett was at the verge of being a washed up celebrity.
Jussie Smollett's charges have been cleared, but his case shouldn't distract from the everyday risks LGBTQ people and people of color face pic.twitter.com/XnN50MjEve
https://t.co/71kV4L0Y12 lets get this straight. After he did his community service and paid his fine. The prosecutor decided that was enough to satisfy them for his crime period. He wasnt exonerated. They decided to not pursue the charges any further period. Dont try to spin this
Well today, all that's change. The Cook County prosecutors dropped all charges and wiped the entertainers record clean.
At the court, Smollett maintained his innocence and stated that this ugly chapter in his life is over.
Conservatives and progressives alike are calling for criminal justice reform.
The rich and powerful always seem to get off scot-freewheel the average American (especially of color) face harsh bids.
Smollet chatting with Lee Daniels during the hospital visit.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson were furious. They both condemned the decision to drop charges and personally called Smollett a disgrace. They said that manpower was wasted on a frivolous publicity stunt.
Yeah, they have more important things to do.... Like breaking down doors and pointing guns at children at a birthday party. Hey, they got the right house, but the wrong person.
That will be discussed in the next post.
Mark Geragos is under federal watch. He is the second lawyer involved in the scandal surrounding Michael Avenatti. The former lawyer of Stormy Daniels is facing a federal sandwich for extortion.
Geragos was the mentioned in the federal indictment. The lawyer was dropped from CNN today after the revelation. He is currently representing Smollett, Chris Brown, R. Kelly and a few of the victims of the Parkland massacre.
Smollett appeared outside the Cook County Courthouse and did a presser.
Smollett is relieved. If convicted, he would have faced 50 years in the iron college and federal time out.
"I want to thank my family, my friends, the incredible people of Chicago and all over the country and world who have prayed for me, supported me and shown me love. No one will ever know how much that has meant to me. Not for a moment was it in vein."
The police union representing Chicago and Northwestern Indiana have called for a federal probe into Kim Foxx the prosecutor who recused herself after it was revealed that she talked to one of Smollett's family members.
Yeah, go after others for your ass being salty.
The Chicago Police have faced scrutiny over the years for police corruption. This one makes me smile. They bark about fairness after years of unfair treatment towards people of color. Now they want to make examples now that one entertainer managed to escape their wrath.
They actually found themselves getting a karma moment.
The controversy will continue on our blog. I open this to discussion. By the way, troll, if you're reading this, you're still blocked. So please don't bother responding to our blog. We don't need your propping your bullshit on Journal de la Reyna. Your remarks will continue to be removed and you might soon be completely blocked from ever reading this blog.
According to the Los Angeles Times regarding Miss Trinity L. Jones' funeral:
"Mourners gathered on Monday afternoon in Hacienda Heights at a memorial service for Trinity Love Jones, the 9-year-old girl whose body was found stuffed inside a duffel bag along a trail earlier this month.
The service, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Hacienda Heights, was open to the public in recognition of the outpouring of community support for the girl and her family in the weeks following her death.
The service began with a bell-tolling ceremony followed by a 75-candle procession escorting the casket into the church. The interfaith ceremony included a Catholic priest, a Protestant pastor and a Buddhist monk.
“After speaking with Trinity’s father and witnessing each of you here today, I now realize this is who she is: a unique, gifted, charismatic, beautiful, life-of-the-party young girl, and as her father described her, someone with so much character,” pastor Darnell Hammock said."
May she rests in peace. I wished people love, cherish, and protect the children not only in America, but around the world.
Happy days are here again. At least that's going on in the White House.
Kellyanne Conway and Sarah Huckabee Sanders embraced each other. Donald Trump, Jr. mocked the Democrats. The far-white feel rejuvenated. The imbecile even celebrated this with a corrupt foreign scumbag Benjamin Netanyahu. The controversial decision to not indict this imbecile has became a perfect example of white privilege and the effects of white collar crimes.
White collar crimes are common in this country. If you're Donald J. Trump, you are officially a member of the elite. An elite group of folks who managed to buy their way to power and never get charged for criminal acts.
The rich and powerful seem to always get away with this. Even the fucking President of the United States gets away with criminal acts.
The White House is gleeful that Attorney General William Barr announced there will be no criminal charges for members of Trump's inner circle.
The Mueller Report hasn't been released but it has deflated hopes for progressives. They knew the fix was in. I mean think about it!
Only 22 months of investigations. Soon as Barr was confirmed, two months later the probe is over and it's inconclusive.
Robert Mueller was vilified by Trump. He was told by the Department of Justice to not look into areas. It makes no sense. Mueller's team had six former Trump advisers, 32 Russian individuals and five companies indicted.
Why did Donald J. Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., Mike Pence, Jeff Sessions, Carter Page, Ivanka Trump and Sean "Softball" Hannity lie about contacts with Russians?
