The right spreads a fake photo of Parkland shooting survivor Emma Gonzalez ripping apart the constitution. It was actually a target sheet. |
Emma Gonzalez made the news this week. After her keynote speak at the March for Our Lives rally Saturday, the far right has now set their sights on her and David Hogg once again.
The right is playing on the fears of a teenage resistance.

"We, the youth of the United States, have built a new movement to denounce gun violence and call for safety in all of our communities. This is only the beginning." @Emma4Change pens a searing op-ed on this generation's plans to make change: https://t.co/MV34GJgrdI #NeverAgain pic.twitter.com/FWTpOD1WKL— Teen Vogue (@TeenVogue) March 23, 2018
The teens are hoping to keep momentum going. As victims of mass shootings, America is calling for more measures to prevent gun violence.
On estimate 96 people are killed a day by firearms and most lawmakers offer nothing but "thoughts and prayers" to every incident.
Whether is a mass shooting or a police shooting of an unarmed person of color, Americans are getting tired of loose gun laws and politicians taking money from the NRA and the gun lobby.
The "good guy with a gun" argument isn't going to work anymore.
The arming teachers, placing more resource officers and more concealed carry laws aren't working.
The videos by Dana Loesch, Dan Bongino, Ted Nugent, Colion Noir, Charlie Daniels and Wayhe LaPierre are disgraceful.
People are getting tired of the NRA and those who support the option of death.
Rep. Steve King (R-IA) fired off a posting on social media attacking Emma's patch with the Cuban flag. He also said that then teen are being influenced by far left activists and billionaire George Soros.

George Soros’s $18 billion fund to destabilize democratic countries is more dangerous to God given Liberty than ACORN ever was. Time to defund Soros and affiliates just like we did ACORN. https://t.co/VM1YU2ARGO pic.twitter.com/Qwbv4e2vKk— Steve King (@SteveKingIA) March 23, 2018
If you are a teenager & believe you won’t be responsible enough to own a gun until 21, why should you vote before 21?— Steve King (@SteveKingIA) March 27, 2018
David fired back.
Maybe because so many of us are gunned down before we even become 21 @SteveKingIA you prove exactly why so many American's are done with politicians like you who only have the goal of dividing America to make us weaker. https://t.co/uInfoCNLlb— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) March 27, 2018
We’re gonna vote you out, Steve. https://t.co/zP4PKDrBOF— Jaclyn Corin (@JaclynCorin) March 27, 2018
Hey @marcorubio @Emma4Change s family fled Cuba to escape totalitarianism and live in freedom just like your family could you please respond to @SteveKingIA— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) March 26, 2018
Also who's running against this guy— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) March 26, 2018
She's a beautiful woman of Cuban descent and we love her. You would too if you ever got the chance to meet her. We need to love each other as Americans regaurdless of our descent, ethnicity or race. #LoveTrumpsHate https://t.co/yXdm0ISc7X— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) March 26, 2018
Hopefully, the Iowa Democrats line up a candidate strong enough to defeat this white extremist. That goober has posted a cache of racist shit and Iowans should be embarrassed by this do nothing.
Washed up actor named Adam Baldwin also spreading a fake gif of Emma ripping apart the U.S. Constitution.

Turns out that it was a target sheet and they did it for Teen Vogue magazine.
It hasn't stop the far right from posting that shit on social media.

Get your resumes ready.
This bullshit has to stop. We cannot live in a country where you regarded as an enemy for standing up. They want to silence survivors of gun violence.
I don't think so.
Homey don't play that!
You folks on the right may live in an alternative universe where Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Sean "Softball" Hannity, Alex Jones, Matt Drudge and Rush Limbaugh control your minds, but the rest of the world isn't buying the bullshit.
The bullshit peddlers are trying rewrite history and we will not allow it.
Vote these lawmakers out.
Turn off the noise.
