Disney buys 21st Century Fox entertainment. It will include the movie divisions, Marvel's franchises, National Geographic and NatGEO, Avatar, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futurama, FX Network, Page Six TV, Sky TV, Fox 21 Entertainment, television stations and portions of Hulu.
The deal is worth $52.4 billion and it huge.
The News Corp division will keep Fox Sports, The New York Post, The Big Ten Network, FS1, Fox News and Fox Business.
Bob Iger will remain as chief of Disney and James Murdoch will take on a role with the company upon merger. Lachlan Murdoch will continue his role at the News Corp division.

Disney owns ABC, Marvel, LucasFilms, Ltd., ESPN, Lifetime, Pixar, The Jim Henson Muppet Studio, and A+E Networks.
Disney has theme parks in Florida, California, France, Japan, China and Hong Kong.
This will assure Disney an advantage in streaming services with 21st Century Fox shows and programming.
