I refer the media as the "junk food media." I don't call it liberal or conservative. I call it junk food.
People are so glued to sensationalism. We get our fix on being riled up about the latest discussions in the country.
The most polarizing person to lead this nation is a focus we talk about here on this blog.
We are a blog that address issues that face people of color. We often find articles off the internet and we post it here on this blog.
I often contribute to most of the mainstream stories. I often will do a "What Happened To" segment to address police shootings of people who Black Twitter and Black Lives Matter bring into the forefront.
An issue that brought me to post was the fatal shooting of a yoga instructor who was fatally shot by the Minneapolis Police.
This shooting comes nearly a year after the Philando Castile incident. Castile worked for the schools was fatally shot by police officer who claimed he was reaching for his gun after a pullover. Castile was legally rightful to carry a firearm. Despite having a lawful right, he was killed. The officer would face a trial and was found not guilty. He would soon take a buyout and leave the force. Getting away with murder and still making a paycheck.
The incident was recorded by Diamond Reynolds. It sparked outrage and discussion of the use of body cameras on police officers. The city of Minneapolis ordered the officers to use body cameras and warned them to make sure everything is transparent. It seems like this officer failed at listening.
With the city still simmering over the shooting of Philando Castile and Jamar Clark, the public wasn't buying the argument that the officers didn't turn on the body cameras when they confronted the victim. She was a 40 year old woman who had no criminal history and was the person who called for 911.
The officer who fired on Justine Damond (nee Ruszczyk) was named. The cop shot through his door of his cruiser. Justine was her a pajamas and talking to his partner.
She called the law on a report of a rape in the alley.
Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor was placed in the freezer pending an investigation into whether the use of force was justified.
The cop lawyers up and says that he feared for his life. You know the whole routine about cops using deadly force. They saw a weapon. They saw a threat.
Okay, what happened was the cop shot through his vehicle and it hit Justine in the stomach. She would die in the alley. Her American fiance Don Damond said the family were "desperate for information " about her shooting. They clearly call it a "homicide."
The 31 year old officer only been on the force for a few years.
An unarmed person of color killed by the police will be judged by their past interaction with the cops. Their social media use. Or how they grew up in a household with or without father figures.
Some are calling this a cover up.

Moor is a Somali-American who joined the force in 2015. He is a Black man and a Muslim. Expect conservatives to consider the shooting a possible terrorist attack. White extremists will dub this a Black on whatever crime.
Conservatives (referred as White extremists) often blame race, religion and political party for the actions of that one individual.
Moor had a good record up to this point.
"He came to the United States at a young age and is thankful to have had so many opportunities. He takes these events very seriously because, for him, being a police officer is a calling. He joined the police force to serve the community and to protect the people he serves. Officer Noor is a caring person with a family he loves and he empathizes with the loss others are experiencing," said his lawyer.
He wants the community to see his side of the story and does show sympathy to the family.
Justine's family wants this cop fired out the cannon and charged with murder. Of course, the cop will get his lawyer and his police union to back him.
WHEN COPS SEE A BLACK MAN WITH A FIREARM REGARDLESS OF IT BEING LEGAL OR ILLEGAL, THEY AUTOMATICALLY SHOOT THE BLACK MAN. EVEN AN UNARMED BLACK MAN JUST REACHING FOR A WALLET OR A DOOR HANDLE COULD BE KILLED BY THE COPS.
THE POLICE AND JUNK FOOD MEDIA TRY TO MAKE THE VICTIM, "THE BAD GUY" BY BRINGING UP HIS PAST HISTORY, HIS SOCIAL MEDIA OR HIS FAMILY LIFE.
MANY WHITES (IN LARGE GROUPS) HAVE FIREARMS IN FRONT OF POLICE AND THEY NEVER GET SHOT OR KILLED. WHY AREN'T THEY AFRAID OF THEM?
WHENEVER SOMEONE COMPLAINS ABOUT LACK OF BLACK FATHERS, I CONTINUE TO DENOUNCE THIS BULLSHIT. I REMIND THEM THAT THE POLICE KILL BLACK FATHERS. THE POLICE LEAVE CHILDREN OF COLOR WITHOUT A BLACK FATHER. AND NO AMOUNT OF MONEY COULD BRING THE PEACE AND TRANQUILITY TO THE FAMILIES OF THOSE KILLED BY THE COPS.
FOR EVERY BAD COP, THERE WILL BE A DEAD COP!
I DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET OR THE COP'S VERSION.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
DONALD J. TRUMP, REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS ARE INEPT. THEY ARE NUMB TO GUN VIOLENCE. THEY CONTINUE TO ALLOW FIREARMS IN THE HANDS OF TERRORISTS AND BAD COPS.
EXPECT MORE COPS SHOOTING UNARMED OR LEGALLY ARMED PEOPLE OF COLOR.
EXPECT COPS TO WALK WHEN THEY CLAIM THEY USED DEADLY FORCE BECAUSE THEY FEARED FOR THEIR LIVES.
EXPECT MORE MASS SHOOTINGS.
EXPECT GOOD COPS TO BE KILLED BY TERRORISTS.
POLICE DEPARTMENTS CONTINUE TO ALLOW BAD COPS AND CORRUPT POLICE UNIONS TO REIGN STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM UPON PEOPLE OF COLOR.
POLICE KILLING PEOPLE OF COLOR IS STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM.
BEING A COP IS A THANKLESS JOB. THEY CONTINUE TO SERVE AND PROTECT IN AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS JOB.
THOSE CHARGED ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
WE DON'T CONDONE VIOLENCE AGAINST LAW ENFORCEMENT OR ANY HUMAN BEING.
Now her family will have to come to the United States to see their daughter be buried. The Ruszczyk family will leave New South Wales, Australia to head to Minnesota.
The Women's March and BLM will protest the Minneapolis Police and call for the arrest of this officer.
