We Just Trying To Watch A Movie! Why You Call The Law On Us?

The police were called on a Black family at a movie theater.

Once again, white people are calling the law on people of color for minor disputes. This time inside a Philadelphia movie theater.

Since the viral video of two Black men being arrested for waiting inside a Starbucks, many other incidents such as the one here occurs. Our friend, "Becky" decided that a family wanting a refund for a disruptive guest inside the theater is enough to call the police.

It seems like you can't enjoy a movie. Ashley and Ishmael Jimenez decided to take their children to see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. They were at a Cinemark Theater in Philadelphia. They were complaining about a loud beeping noise inside the theater.

They complained to the manager and asked for a refund. The matter wasn't resolved. The manager ordered them out of the theater. They couldn't retrieve their children. So after a few heated words, the police were called.

Six police responded to the scene.

Then things went from bad to worse.

The manager was sent to the showers after this incident went viral. Cinemark did offer an apology to the family. It won't stop the protest that follows
