The American Rescue Plan is a $1.9 trillion economic stimulus package being proposed by President Joe Biden to speed up the U.S. recovery from the economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pandemic has taken the U.S. into another recession and he wants to get this as a major victory in his first 100 days as President of the United States.

Biden has been lobbying on Democrats to push the bill forward and get it immediately signed. He gave up on trying to win over Republicans. Biden doesn't want to make mistakes when dealing with Republicans.

We already know they're not on board with it. After all, they play the charade of being "fiscally conservative" and concerned about the debt and economy now that a Democrat is in the White House.

Their shameless hypocrisy led the Americans voters to reject them as well as their standard bearer Donald J. Trump. Now the Republicans are searching for their souls in the pits of hell. They have not abandoned Trump and it's causing a civil war within the party.

Oh, but the Democrats are having a civil war in the making. It's between the factions that often are the most loudest and least productive. The progressive side of the Democratic Party are upset at Biden because he's not doing enough to push for the $15 minimum wage increase in the package.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) have signalled they're against the rising of the minimum wage which could put the bill in jeopardy of failure.

Now the Senate parliamentarian now declares the bill should move forward without the minimum wage increase.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) is furious that the $15 minimum wage hike may be stripped.

The White House has reacted to the parliamentarian's ruling.

he White House said Thursday that President Biden is “disappointed” that the Senate parliamentarian ruled a minimum wage increase could not be included in a coronavirus relief bill, but said the president would respect the decision.

“President Biden is disappointed in this outcome, as he proposed having the $15 minimum wage as part of the American Rescue Plan. He respects the parliamentarian’s decision and the Senate’s process,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement released Thursday night.

“He will work with leaders in Congress to determine the best path forward because no one in this country should work full time and live in poverty,” Psaki continued.

“He urges Congress to move quickly to pass the American Rescue Plan, which includes $1400 rescue checks for most Americans, funding to get this virus under control, aid to get our schools reopened and desperately needed help for the people who have been hardest hit by this crisis,” she said.

The statement makes clear that the White House will not look to overrule the decision by Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough earlier Thursday evening to nix a provision to increase minimum wage to $15 per hour included in the $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill.

White House chief of staff Ron Klain said on MSNBC on Wednesday that Vice President Harris, as president of the Senate, would not try to overturn the decision if the Senate parliamentarian decided the minimum wage could not be part of the bill.

The decision Wednesday evening represents a significant blow to progressives who saw the minimum wage increase as a critical part of the coronavirus relief proposal, which will face a House vote on Friday.

Democrats have moved to pass the relief bill using budget reconciliation, which allows them to pass a bill with a simple majority in the Senate.

The parliamentarian ruled on Thursday that the minimum wage provision did not meet guidelines needed to move forward without the upper chamber’s reconciliation process.

Still, progressives called for Harris to overrule the decision after the Senate parliamentarian’s decision Thursday.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is becoming a pain in the ass.

“The Senate parliamentarian issues an advisory opinion. The VP can overrule them—as has been done before,” tweeted Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), chairwoman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. “We should do EVERYTHING we can to keep our promise, deliver a $15 minimum wage, and give 27 million workers a raise.”

“I’m sorry—an unelected parliamentarian does not get to deprive 32 million Americans the raise they deserve,” Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) tweeted. “This is an advisory, not a ruling. VP Harris needs to disregard and rule a $15 minimum wage in order.”

“We were elected to deliver for the people. It’s time we do our job,” he tweeted.

The development may ultimately make it easier for the measure to pass in the 50-50 Senate, where moderate Democrats like Manchin have been cool to the idea of an increase to a $15 minimum wage.

Classic television shows are being rebooted or revived.

It worked for Full House (and Fuller House), Will & Grace, Roseanne (and The Conners) and Punky Brewster.

The classic sitcom on NBC is being brought back to television.

American actor and media personality Kelsey Grammer confirms that his hit sitcom Frasier is coming back to the television. Paramount+. a division of ViacomCBS, Inc. is going to relaunch the series with Grammar, David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves and Peri Gilpin reprising their roles.

The show is an official spin-off of Cheers, the classic sitcom which Frasier Crane was a part of.

The show will return to television and streaming platforms after it concluded its 11 seasons.

"I gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane," Grammar said to the Hollywood Reporter. "Having spent over 20 years of my creative life on the Paramount lot, both producing shows and performing in several, I'd like to congratulate Paramount+ on its entry into the streaming world."

The original cast of Frasier is coming back to television.

The show starred Grammar as Dr. Frasier Crane, a divorced psychologist who returned to Seattle after leaving Boston. He gets hired to host a radio program where he offers advice to listeners. While returning home, he rebuilds his relationship with his brother, fellow psychologist Niles Crane who often clashes with Frasier in friendly competitions and his father Martin Crane, a retired police detective who was shot in the line of duty. He was forced to retire and forced to stay with Frasier. He tries to tell his sons to loosen up but often cares deeply for them.

The other characters in the show included their live-in housekeeper Daphne Moon who helps Martin out during his therapy and

John Mahoney had passed away at the age of 77 in 2018.

Paramount+ added it was bringing back "one of the most highly acclaimed, most successful comedy series of all time."

"The revival will have everything you love about the original: coziness, great writing, and of course, a cast led by Kelsey Grammer," the streaming service said. No date was given for the revival.

Grammer was the executive producer of the UPN/CW shows The Game and Girlfriends. He also lent his voice role to The Simpsons as the diabolical Sideshow Bob, a frequent nemesis of Bart Simpson.

The extremist group al-Qaeda hasn't disappeared. They are down but not out. They are grooming a leader to replace Ayman Al-Zawahiri, the ailing Egyptian doctor and leader of the extremist group. Its rumored he may have died and the organization is trying to build a more lethal al-Qaeda.

Enter Saif al-Adel, the reclusive extremist involved in the Tanzania and Kenyan bombings back in 1998. He is under indictment by the U.S. government for sponsoring and building the bombs that killed over 200 people.

He was the clean cut business executive who left the profession to join Osama bin Laden's jihad against the United States. He was fingered as one of the backers of the two truck bombings at the embassies in Dar es Saleem in Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya. He financed thousands of dollars to local tribal men to drive those trucks into the embassies.

The Egyptians kept al-Adel's information on ice. He is allegedly known by his government name, Mohammed Salah al-Din Zaidan. He was a member of the Egyptian military around his teens and became an expert in bomb making and explosive detonations. They said he was trained by the Soviet Union during his brief military career. He would leave the military and join the Afghanis in the war against the Soviet Union.

He was affiliated with the Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Now he's a full fledge member of the Sunni Islamist extremist organization. It has been labeled as a terrorist group by the United States and 80 other countries.

The U.S. claims that Islamic Republic of Iran is where is living. They say he's a "brilliant and ruthless strategist" who will lead the extremists.

The rumors of his passing are unconfirmed as well.

The man who dubbed himself, "the sword of revenge" is hoping to rebrand the organization. They're hoping to seize on the Trump legacy and study the white nationalist tactics to infiltrate.

Last heard from in a message on the anniversary of 9/11, former leader al-Zawahiri's health and longevity have long been in doubt, although reports of his death have proved incorrect in the past.

The Egyptian-born doctor was second-in-command to bin Laden and took over the extremist group after the Saudi's death in 2011, but its influence has waned and al-Qaeda is now widely seen as a shadow of its former self.

One of the sources who spoke to Arab News was an al-Qaeda translator said to maintain close ties with the group, who said al-Zawahiri had died in Afghanistan.

"He died of asthma because he had no formal treatment," the translator told the outlet's Pakistani edition.

Reports at the time suggested al-Zawahiri's death would deal a further blow to the group after it emerged that Israeli operatives had secretly killed its deputy leader on a U.S. ordered mission in Iran.

Abdullah Ahmad Abdullah, also known as Abu Muhammad al-Masri, was shot and killed in Tehran by an Israeli hit squad on a motorcycle.

The operation is said to have taken place on August 7 on the anniversary of the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings.

The killing of bin Laden in a US operation in Pakistan in 2011 left the group in the hands of al-Zawahiri, an Egyptian veteran of jihad and the key al-Qaeda ideologue, but without Bin Laden's ability to rally radicals around the world.

The U.S. government said last year that bin Laden's son Hamza was also dead, removing a man seen as a possible heir to the al-Qaeda leadership.

The group has spawned several franchises across the world that bear its name, including in Africa's Sahel region, in Pakistan as well as in Somalia, Egypt and Yemen.

But it does not control their actions or the alliances that they may forge on a local level.

Outgoing New Mexico Democratic lawmaker Deb Haaland is going to be confirmed for Secretary of the Department of Interior. She will be the first Native American and woman to hold the post.

President Joe Biden announced her to lead in December. Progressives have urged him to give her an opportunity to lead the Interior Department.

The previous secretaries under former president Donald J. Trump were terrible. They wanted to open up land to oil drilling, natural gas pumping, fracking and that goddamn TransCanada Keystone XL pipeline. The pipelines that Trump authorized were to go through reservations which go against the treaties Congress passed decades ago to preserve the sovereignty of tribal lands. The Interior Department allowed the invasive murder hornets spread into the United States and Canada. Now North American honeybees are at risk of extinction because of this dangerous hornet.

Haaland has a huge mess to clean up.

Haaland is of Pueblo descendants and a resident of the city of Albuquerque.

Haaland was born in Winslow, Arizona. She is an enrolled member of the Laguna Pueblo. The Pueblo people have lived on the land that is now the state of New Mexico since the 1200s and Haaland identifies herself as a 35th-generation New Mexican. Her mother, Mary Toya, a Native American woman, served in the United States Navy.

Her father, Major J. D. "Dutch" Haaland, a Norwegian American, was an officer in the United States Marine Corps and recipient of the Silver Star for his actions in Vietnam; he was buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery in 2005. As a child in a military family, Haaland moved frequently.

She attended 13 public schools across the United States before the family settled in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to be close to family who also belong to the Laguna Pueblo. Haaland graduated from Highland High School in Albuquerque.

She has three sisters and a brother.
Deb Haaland was an early backer of Biden. She and Rep. Sharice Davids (D-KS) are the first Native American women to serve in the U.S. Congress.

After graduating from Highland High School, Haaland worked at a local bakery. In 1988, she enrolled at the University of New Mexico, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English in 1994. Four days after graduating, she gave birth to her daughter, Somáh.

As a single mother, Haaland started a salsa company to support herself and her daughter. At times during this period, she did not earn enough money to afford housing and had to rely on friends for shelter. She also relied on food stamps at times. She earned her Juris Doctor in Indian law from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2006, but is not a member of the New Mexico State Bar.

Haaland became the first chairwoman elected to the Laguna Development Corporation Board of Directors, a Laguna-owned business created to strengthen the Laguna Community and its economy. As chairwoman, she oversaw business operations for the second largest tribal gaming enterprise in New Mexico and successfully advocated for the corporation to create policies and commitments to earth-friendly business practices.

She served as the tribal administrator for the San Felipe Pueblo from January 2013 to November 2015.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) got their heads out their asses and are on board with confirming Haaland to the Interior Department. Her vote confirmation is expected to be this week. It will be partisan because the party of what Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) called it is opposed to it.

Republican senators are not willing to support her.

According to Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK), Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Sen. Jim Risch (R-ID) and Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Haaland is a radical who wants to stop oil drilling, the border wall and wants to force climate change down the throats of Americans.

Before Biden nominated Haaland, many senior Democrats had voiced their support for her as Secretary of the Interior, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Senator Elizabeth Warren. In addition, Republican congressmen Don Young and Tom Cole had also expressed their support of Haaland's nomination.

The United States Department of the Interior (DOI) is a federal executive department of the U.S. government. It is responsible for the management and conservation of most federal lands and natural resources, and the administration of programs relating to Native Americans, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, territorial affairs, and insular areas of the United States, as well as programs related to historic preservation. About 75% of federal public land is managed by the department, with most of the remainder managed by the United States Department of Agriculture's United States Forest Service.

The department was created on March 3, 1849.

Rep. Sharice Davids (D-KS), Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK), Rep. Yvette Harrell (R-NM) and Haaland are the only Native American lawmakers in the 117th Congress.

Native Americans support of Biden which helped him win Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Minnesota, Colorado and Wisconsin. Trump did carry significant support among people of color.

Trump won 15% of the Black vote, 35% of the Hispanic vote, 42% of the Asian vote and 32% of the Native American vote.

The remnants of the old South still exist in the U.S. Congress and it's apparent that folks are still more concerned about being in your child's business instead of just minding their own.

Freshman lawmaker Rep. Marie Newman (D-IL) is feuding with fellow freshman, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) over the Equality Act, a bill that outlaws discrimination against those who identify as transgender. Greene, a white nationalist who supports former president Donald J. Trump and the Q'Anon conspiracies  has been very vocal these last two months.

Newman has a transgender daughter and is very proud of her. Newman supports the rights of those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Newman puts a trans rights flag in front of her office and it riles up Marjorie Taylor Greene.

"The right time to pass this act was decades ago. The second best time is right now," Newman said. "I'm voting yes on the Equality Act for Evie Newman, my daughter and the strongest, bravest person I know."

The lawmaker wanted to show solidary to the community by holding the transgender rights flag outside her Capitol Hill office. She shared it on social media and went viral.

Well it appears she put the flag in front of Taylor Greene's office.

Only three hours later, Taylor Greene, recently stripped of her committee assignments found time to buy a poster where she hung outside her office saying "There are TWO genders: Male & Female - Trust The Science!"

The lawmaker is a fucking white nationalist. She so concerned about transwomen being in restrooms and playing in women's sports.

"As mothers, we all love and support our children. But your biological son does NOT belong in my daughters' bathrooms, locker rooms and sports team."

Then she used her GOD to hate.

The woman also posted on social media with her staffers "Stand with MTG".

She claims she's being cancelled because of her conspiracy theories, racism, adultery and utter stupidity.

This is what your Congress is doing! Both freshman lawmakers are feuding over human rights.

Yet, she's trying to cancel a transgender child's right to exist.

This country is so fucking divided by the drivel of the extremists. It's bad! Republicans believe that Donald J. Trump won the election and it was unfairly stolen despite evidence proving it wasn't

Republicans and especially far-right agitators like Sean "Screwball" Hannity believe President Joe Biden has cognitive disorder despite not being doctors. The far-right agitators believe Vice President Kamala Harris is a "socialist" waiting in the wings and some Black conservative extremists believe she isn't authentically Black.

Only in the Congress less than two months Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has attracted controversy. She along with fellow freshman lawmakers, Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT), Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) and Rep. Laura Boebert (R-CO) have become more distractions instead of solutions.

The Republicans continue to back Trump. The few that oppose him are being censured, threatened with primary challengers and death threats.

Trump is expected to speak at CPAC in Florida on Sunday. They want to stay hand and hand with a washed up politician who lost in a landslide.

Again, the Republicans want us to be still focused on Monica Lewinsky, 9/11, Benghazi, Hillary Clinton's emails, socialism, Somali pirates, New Black Panthers, Obamacare, Barack Obama's birth certificate, Hunter Biden's laptop, Rush Limbaugh, allegations of voter fraud and radial Islam.

Republicans want us to forget about the Supreme Court handing George W. Bush the election victory, Bush ignoring the warnings leading to 9/11, the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita, the Great Recession, denying Merrick Garland a seat on the Supreme Court, the coronavirus pandemic, the unemployment rising under Donald J. Trump, Hurricane Maria, the Mexican government paying for the border wall, the golf outings, the thousands of lives lost to the coronavirus, the Russian government meddling in our elections and the insurrection.

This is the shameless crap that makes the Republican Party in the words of Rep. Liz Cheney, the "party of white supremacy." Yes, the Republicans may have a handful of people of color elected to office, but the party is 95% WHITE and  5% NON-WHITE.

The Republican Party isn't conservative. They are the party of ____________________.

I am not going to lie, this is frustrating and I am going to make my postings shorter and quicker now.

I am really getting fed up with this type of justice. The police find it to be open season on Black men and women. It will be a deadly year for law enforcement. Trust me, for every Black man or woman killed by the police, some maniac will take revenge on the police and politicians who support the Blue Lives Movement.

Cops aren't born blue. They are regular human beings with a badge and gun. They have to follow the same rules as the ordinary people. But somehow, murder is only applied to those who kill cops or ordinary people.

I am serious, for every bad cop, there will be a dead cop.

These two dirty cops walk after they assaulted an activist and leaving him for dead.

The two cops who were seen shoving of an elderly white man leaving him critically injured are walking.

This came in the wake of a protest for an unarmed Black man and the George Floyd protests in the United States. Martin Gugino was seen being pushed back by two cops wearing riot gear. They didn't even give him an opportunity to step back. The two cops brutally shoved him and he landed on a pillar and it fractured his skill. He would be lying in a pool of blood unconscious.

The cops who shoved him were criminally charged with physical assault and battery. The prosecutor who was friendly with the Buffalo Police at the time filed charges against those two dirty cops.

The cops Aaron Torgalski and Robert McCabe are currently in the freezer pending a panel decision on whether they're going to be fired out the cannon for the incident.

Gugino said he doesn't even remember what happened but is blessed to be alive. He didn't expect the cops to treat him like he was a criminal. He wanted to show solidarity to Black Lives Matter.

Gugino has filed a lawsuit against the two cops, the police commissioner, Buffalo's mayor Byron Brown and a third cop (possibly their supervisor).

Brown ordered a curfew around 8pm to disperse crowds gathering in downtown Buffalo. As Gugino was being told to move, the two cops took the demand up to intentional shoving and physical assault.

The graphic image of Martin Gugino after he was shoved to the ground.

The charges were dropped and the cops walked. The Buffalo Police Benevolent Association supported the cops and the decision to not criminally charged them.

On June 4, 2020, amid the George Floyd protests in New York state, police officers from the Buffalo Police Department pushed 75-year-old Martin Gugino during a confrontation in Buffalo's Niagara Square, causing him to fall to the ground which left him bleeding from the ear.

Gugino was seriously injured, sustaining a brain injury, and was still unable to walk nearly two weeks later.

He was hospitalized for nearly four weeks.

Governor Andrew Cuomo and the Majority Leader, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) condemned police conduct in the incident.

Former president Donald J. Trump spread false and unfounded conspiracy theories about Gugino in his response to the incident on Twitter.

Another thing is the continuous grand juries in the United States refusing to hold bad cops accountable for their actions.

I am really getting fed up with this type of justice. The police find it to be open season on Black men and women. It will be a deadly year for law enforcement. Trust me, for every Black man or woman killed by the police, some maniac will take revenge on the police and politicians who support the Blue Lives Movement.

I am serious, for every bad cop, there will be a dead cop.

The decision to not criminally charge the Rochester Police officers for killing Daniel Prude will lead to more protests.

There's protests in the city of Rochester after the state prosecutor found the seven cops not liable for the death of a mentally ill man who died in their custody. Daniel Prude was a 41-year old Black man who was physically restrained by the cops.

The cops placed a spit hood over his head and he would soon die from asphyxia. The hood was like a noose over his head. The cops claim that he was erratic because he was on PCP and he was naked.

The incident happened nearly one year ago and the video evidence was not seen until September 2020.

The Rochester Police feared the video would trigger violent protests. So in the wake of the George Floyd murder, the pressure from Prude's family forced the agency to release the video.

They said he was lynched. The cops said that was not the case.

Rochester mayor Lovely Warren, her police chief and Gov. Andrew Cuomo faced a backlash over the video. Joe Prude said that incident towards his brother was a "cold-blooded" murder.

A grand jury has decided that the cops were not liable for Prude's death and it led to massive protests.

Soon after this happened, hundreds gathered at the very spot where he encountered police last March.

Like they did so many times last year, they marched. First they called for change along Jefferson Avenue. Then they rallied outside the Child Street substation before marching on Interstate 490, at one point prompting closure of a portion of the westbound lanes before arriving at the Public Safety Building.

The cops lynched Daniel Prude.

New York state Attorney General Letitia James spent hours at Aenon Baptist Church Wednesday morning, meeting with faith leaders from across the city.

Fred Johnson, the minister at First Genesis Baptist Church, was one of them.

“We were all extremely disappointed in the grand jury results, so we spoke to those frustrations and where we go from here," said Johnson.

He says the discussion focused on what led to the grand jury's decision and how to move forward from it, both by helping the community heal and by creating impactful change.

“She shared some initiatives underway from the state perspective and several initiatives that may be of interest to faith communities in this area," said Johnson.

Alton Byrd, who was also in attendance, says the same rhetoric about reform needs to change.

“One of the questions I asked goes beyond defunding the police and stuff like that. We need a complete change. We need a change on the number of Blacks that get hired during a recruiting session and a change on holding those accountable when things go wrong," said Byrd. “That’s our next step now: how do we present change and really do something? All of these meetings the last 25-50 years are no exhausting to me.”

Rev. Lewis Stewart, the president of the United Christian Leadership Ministry, says the attorney general also revealed the make up of the grand jury.

“It was 16 white people, 3 blacks and one Hispanic," he said.

Stewart says that alone is troubling and needs to be fixed.

“I would daresay we need a more of a diverse configuration than anything else, in more juries across the state," he said.

Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH) is a two term lawmaker from Rocky River, near Cleveland. He represents the 16th Congressional District which includes parts of Akron, Cleveland, Canton, Wooster and Lorain. The district is favorable Republican.

He is a former NFL player and media personality. He along with Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT) and Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX) played for the league before turning to politics.

Gonzalez is a white Hispanic and as far to the right as his fellow members. Yet, he lost all his street cred when he joined the nine other Republicans in impeaching Donald J. Trump.

Gonzalez was a 3-year letterman and wide receiver at The Ohio State University. He played for the Buckeyes for three years.

He also had played five years in the NFL. He was drafted to the Indianapolis Colt and played for the team for four years. He was traded to the New England Patriots for a brief time before he was released.

He retired shortly after instead of opting to free agency. He went to Stanford Graduate Business School.

He grew up in Cleveland. His father is Cuban-American and his mother is the daughter of a World War II veteran.

The lawmaker became the latest to face the wrath of the Republican Party. Ohio Republicans censured him and he's now expected to face a challenge from the far-right.

The 36-year old lawmaker admits that his vote could cost him support among the Republican Party. He even said that he along with fellow lawmaker Rep. Peter Meijer (R-MI) are getting death threats due to their decision to vote to impeach the 45th President of the United States.

Jonah Schulz announced that he will be challenging Gonzalez in the Republican primary. He feels he has an opportunity to get a win. He took on outgoing Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH) and was defeated.

Anthony Gonzalez was apart of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was their wide receiver in the Jim Tressel era.

The 26-year old Republican said that Gonzalez "[in his time in office], stood idly by while Americans saw their businesses destroyed and their individual liberties stripped from their hands. Anthony Gonzalez has cheered on mask mandates, praised Governor Mike DeWine's unconstitutional lockdown measures, voted to send hundreds of billions of dollars in foreign aid during a pandemic and most recently sided with the radical left to impeach President Trump over a false charge just days before the end of his term."

Republican lawmakers continue to support this washed up president.

Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), Rep. Jaime Herrera-Beutler (R-WA), Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), Rep. John Katko (R-NY), Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI), Rep. Peter Meijer (R-MI), Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA), Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC) and Rep. David Valadao (R-CA) joined the Democrats in impeaching Trump.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE), Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) and Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) voted to convict Trump.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), a white nationalist lawmaker went outside his district to call upon Wyoming Republicans to vote Cheney out. Cheney easily retained her role as top Republican leader despite 60 members secretly voting to remove her from top positions.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was the only Republican lawmaker who was stripped of her committee assignments. In the wake of the insurrection, the Republicans want Americans to stop talking about it and move on.

The same party that continues to rail on voter fraud, Hillary Clinton's emails, Hunter Biden's laptop, Benghazi, September 11th, 2001, Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Lois Lerner, Barack Obama's birth certificate, freedom fries and radical Islam wants us to "move on."

Yes, keep bringing up the same ingredients they used to spark that insurrection.

Should entertainers and athletes run for government office?
Yes
No

Gonzalez put country over party and now he's paying the price. Do Republicans believe in law & order?

No.

Are the Republicans the party of fiscal responsibility, limited government and accountability?

No.

They are in the words of Liz Cheney, the "party of white supremacy" with a dozen or so tokens.

For years, many of your favorite characters from The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers and Family Guy were voiced by white actors. Some of the white actors were voicing Black characters. But since the George Floyd tragedy, many of these actors are stepping down from the role.

The Simpsons will formally replace Dr. Hibbert with veteran voice actor Kevin Michael Richardson. He will also take the role of Drederick Tatum, the Mike Tyson-like character in the animated sitcom.

Harry Shearer, a progressive agitator, voice actor, writer and activist had played the role for most of the show's run. He also plays the role of Principal Skinner, Ned Flanders, Mr. Burns, Smithers and Lenny.

Hank Azaria, a voice actor, writer and producer stepped away from Apu, Springfield Police officer Lou, Drederick Tatum, Bumblebee Man and Dr. Nick Rivera.

Richardson has played roles in Disney, Nickelodeon, Fox and Comedy Central animated sitcoms.

The recasting comes after “Simpsons” producers said in June 2020 that white actors will no longer play non-white characters.

Big shoes to fill. For 32 seasons Harry Shearer voiced Dr. Hibbert. Now Kevin Michael Richardson will play the role.

During the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020, several other animated shows recast characters of color who had previously been voiced by white actors. YouTube star Arif Zahir took over the role of Cleveland Brown from Mike Henry on Family Guy, Ayo Edebiri replaced Jenny Slate as the voice of Missy on Netflix’s Big Mouth, and Apple TV Plus brought on Emmy Raver-Lampman to voice Molly Tillerman on Central Park, who was previously voiced by Kristen Bell.

Richardson has worked on The Simpsons since 2009, providing the voices for many characters. He’s also worked on animated shows like Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, American Dad and many others. He’s won two Daytime Emmy nominations for voicing the villain Joker in the animated series The Batman in the mid-2000s from Warner Bros. Animation.
