Dirty Cop Who Shot Justine Damond Lawyers Up!

The family of Justine Damond want that Minneapolis cop locked up. This cop fatally shot her allegedly after she talked to his partner. 

For those new to World News Today, I want to say thank you for joining us. Me and S.B are here to give a honest discussion about issues the community, the government and the mainstream media.

I refer the media as the "junk food media." I don't call it liberal or conservative. I call it junk food.

People are so glued to sensationalism. We get our fix on being riled up about the latest discussions in the country.

The most polarizing person to lead this nation is a focus we talk about here on this blog.

We are a blog that address issues that face people of color. We often find articles off the internet and we post it here on this blog.

I often contribute to most of the mainstream stories. I often will do a "What Happened To" segment to address police shootings of people who Black Twitter and Black Lives Matter bring into the forefront.

An issue that brought me to post was the fatal shooting of a yoga instructor who was fatally shot by the Minneapolis Police.

This shooting comes nearly a year after the Philando Castile incident. Castile worked for the schools was fatally shot by police officer who claimed he was reaching for his gun after a pullover. Castile was legally rightful to carry a firearm. Despite having a lawful right, he was killed. The officer would face a trial and was found not guilty. He would soon take a buyout and leave the force. Getting away with murder and still making a paycheck.

The incident was recorded by Diamond Reynolds. It sparked outrage and discussion of the use of body cameras on police officers. The city of Minneapolis ordered the officers to use body cameras and warned them to make sure everything is transparent. It seems like this officer failed at listening.

With the city still simmering over the shooting of Philando Castile and Jamar Clark, the public wasn't buying the argument that the officers didn't turn on the body cameras when they confronted the victim. She was a 40 year old woman who had no criminal history and was the person who called for 911.

The officer who fired on Justine Damond (nee Ruszczyk) was named. The cop shot through his door of his cruiser. Justine was her a pajamas and talking to his partner.

She called the law on a report of a rape in the alley.

Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor was placed in the freezer pending an investigation into whether the use of force was justified.

The cop lawyers up and says that he feared for his life. You know the whole routine about cops using deadly force. They saw a weapon. They saw a threat.

Okay, what happened was the cop shot through his vehicle and it hit Justine in the stomach. She would die in the alley. Her American fiance Don Damond said the family were "desperate for information " about her shooting. They clearly call it a "homicide."

The 31 year old officer only been on the force for a few years.

An unarmed person of color killed by the police will be judged by their past interaction with the cops. Their social media use. Or how they grew up in a household with or without father figures.

Some are calling this a cover up.

Mohamad Noor was placed in the freezer. He did not activate his body cam. He allegedly shot out of the side of the police cruiser injuring an Australian woman who was to be married.

Conservatives will point out the cop's race, religion and nationality.

Moor is a Somali-American who joined the force in 2015. He is a Black man and a Muslim. Expect conservatives to consider the shooting a possible terrorist attack. White extremists will dub this a Black on whatever crime.

Conservatives (referred as White extremists) often blame race, religion and political party for the actions of that one individual.

Moor had a good record up to this point.

"He came to the United States at a young age and is thankful to have had so many opportunities. He takes these events very seriously because, for him, being a police officer is a calling. He joined the police force to serve the community and to protect the people he serves. Officer Noor is a caring person with a family he loves and he empathizes with the loss others are experiencing," said his lawyer.

He wants the community to see his side of the story and does show sympathy to the family.

Justine's family wants this cop fired out the cannon and charged with murder. Of course, the cop will get his lawyer and his police union to back him.

Donald J. Trump will turn on Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). The Senate failed to pass their repeal and replace of Obamacare.

The Better Care Reconciliation Act is dead. The Republican-controlled senate once again crashed and burned their bill to repeal Obamacare.

HUGE BLOW TO THE INEPT LEADER OF THE UNITED STATES!

The Republican senate failed at getting their version of the American Health Care Act passed. The Republicans who control the majority in the Congress failed once again to pass Donald J. Trump's promise to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. The "Obamacare" disaster as Trump called it, has gotten Republicans in the vine.

Conservative lawmaker Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said no because it didn't go far enough. Moderate lawmaker Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) said it was a lot of things she would not support.

The House of Representatives have passed a legislation that had no hearings. They passed it without any concerns about the Congressional Budget Office's estimate. They passed it with a proud Trump and Mike Pence celebrating in the Rose Garden.

The senate quietly started their version. When the junk food media reached out for a rough draft of the bill, no response. The Republicans went ahead and drafted a bill that no one seen. The Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) got the bill out to the public.

When the bill was rolled out, the public immediately soured on it.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) said they won't support the bill. Collins said that taking away Planned Parenthood, Medicare and Medicaid would hurt her constituents.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS) sunk Trumpcare.

Paul said that the ACA should be outright repealed. Many Republicans are not willing to go there, just yet. Paul is angry that Republicans continue to reject his proposals.

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) had a blood clot in his face. He took a leave of absence. It left only one crucial vote and Pence to break the tie.

Well two extremely conservative Republicans refused to support the bill.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS) both voiced concern that passing a bill that no one read and no exact details won't earn their support. Lee was hoping that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) proposals would be included in the bill. Moran was concerned that McConnell is too polarizing as a leader and doing the bill "behind closed doors" broke the pledge to be "open and transparent."

Trump will not be happy about this.

McConnell's days as the Majority Leader could be numbered. Trump isn't really fond of the leadership of McConnell and House Speaker, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI).

Trump may use his accolades to oust them from leadership.

Trump hasn't spoken out yet. But expect it to be harsh. He will blame McConnell, Ryan and the Democrats for stalling his agenda.

Trump's job approval so far is the lowest in American history. I assume only 37% of Americans support his agenda. Republicans about 80% support his agenda. Democrats only 4% support his agenda.

Kid Rock Runs For Senate!

Kid Rock is considering a run for the Senate.

If Donald J. Trump, Sean Duffy, Trey Radel, Sony Bono and Al Franken can win, then it won't be hard for a controversial rock star to win a crucial senate seat.

Don't take Kid Rock for granted.

The rocker is considering a run for the Senate. Kid Rock wants to challenge Democratic incumbent senator Debbie Stabenow for the seat in Michigan as a Republican.

The controversial figure came out for Trump and was a fierce backer of the policies this inept leader stood for.

Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) takes this one seriously. She and Democrats from Ohio, Montana, West Virginia, Florida, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Missouri are embattled.

Do not take this as a joke.

Trump carried Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. These states were the Democratic firewall. No longer the firewall, Democrats are extremely cautious about the forecast for retaking the Congress.

These states have a Democratic senator up for reelection.

With the hodgepodge of Republicans willing to run a campaign like Trump, the chances of Democrats losing seats is a possibility.

Robert Ritchie is the entertainer's full name.

The 46-year old grew up in Warren and Detroit. He was then a rapper back in the late 1980s before he became a rebel rocker. He was with Sarah Palin and Ted Nugent at the White House. They were invited to the White House and mocked Hillary Clinton's portrait.

And now immigrants who want to live the American dream are killed by the police. We continue to see more and more incidents where unarmed people of color being killed by the police.

This stuff infuriates me.

A bride to be was killed by the Minneapolis Police. Justine Damond (nee Ruszczyk) was a 40 year woman who emigrated from Australia to be with her fiance and his family. She was a yoga and meditation teacher.

There was a call for a domestic dispute late night on Saturday. Two officers responded to the call and arrived in an alley in the Fulton neighborhood.

"At one point an officer fired their weapon, fatally striking a women," a police statement reported to the Washington Post.

Mayor Betsy Hodges and Minneapolis Police chief Janee Harteau.

Investigators are looking into whether a video of the shooting exists and the Minnesota Bureau Criminal Apprehension board and the Justice Department are involved.

Officers did not turn on their body cameras when they approached Damond.

The two officers were placed in the freezer. The prosecutor must determine if their actions were justified.

Justine's family demands answers. Her step son took to social media to say that his "mum" was a true Sydneysider who was "passionate" and his "best friend."

"Basically my mum was shot for reasons I don't know," he said on social media. "I just know she heard a sound in the alley so then she called the police and the cops showed up and she was a very passionate woman, she probably thought something bad was happening and then next thing I know they take my best friend's life."

He added, "This is a very difficult time for our family," the statement said. "We are trying to come to terms with this tragedy and to understand why this has happened."

Justine grew up in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She wanted to be married at the end of the month. Now her fiance and family will bury her on their wedding day.

The civil rights activist and Black Lives Matter address the controversy.

"For years, activists and community members have raised concerns about the 'shoot first, ask questions later' mentality amongst some police officers. Beyond that, police officers have routinely escaped accountability for perpetuating violence against civilians and have been allowed to kill with impunity. Justine Damond is the latest causality of a flawed system of policing, that is urgently in need of being overhauled. The fact that her case has been shrouded in a cloak of secrecy merely reinforces concerns surrounding a lack of transparency and accountability within this system," said Nekima Levy-Pounds, a local civil rights attorney and police reform activist.

She said that city's mayor Betsy Hodges and Gov. Mark Dayton (D) have failed the community. She is running for mayor against Hodges.

She said this is a "flawed system of policing."

"The tragic and senseless death of Justine Damond at the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department illustrates everything that is wrong with our system of policing in the US," she said.

What About Obama?

Republicans are struggling to get their healthcare reform passed. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) vow to oppose the bill. Both Republicans say that the bill does not do enough.

Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH), Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV), Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Sen. Shelley Capito Moore (R-WV) and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) are on the fence.

These guys need Medicaid expansion to accommodate low income people to sick or poor to pay for hospital bills.

They want to defund Planned Parenthood in the bill. Collins is a supporter of Planned Parenthood.

It is the most unpopular move. Only 24% support a full repeal and replace.

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) may kill the bill. His health is getting bad. So he will take a few weeks off and get treated for an infection in his eye. Some think its cancer.

McCain's absence may have sunk Sen. Mitch McConnell's (R-KY) pledge to get the votes to repeal and replace Obamacare (known as the Affordable Care Act).

Seven years of beeyotching and bemoaning. The Republicans can't get the ball rolling on getting a healthcare law they're willing to support.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) also made the bill very unpopular. He would insert a filler into the bill exempting lawmakers from losing their health insurance. That means the lawmakers are opt out from the Republican bill even though it could cut funds to Medicaid, SCHIP and force the states to payout for those who opt out of insurance.

It is mandatory for Americans to have health insurance. Unfortunately Republicans believe that it's too costly to have insured Americans. They rather spend all this money on military and border security.

The conservatives already invented a distraction from Trump, Jr.'s major screw up. Blame Barack Obama for the turmoil.

Me not know. Donald Trump, Jr. release emails that damaged his credibility.

What about Obama?

He parties with elitists. He golfs all the time. He and Michelle Obama take vacations all the freaking time. He tried to oust Benjamin Netanyahu in the Israeli elections.

Uh, wrong!

Barack Obama never colluded with a foreign government to help him win an election. Well, he did call for regime change in some of the Middle Eastern countries. But the Syria, Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia were notable ones.

He would lie but not so blatantly like Trump.

There were no real scandals in the Obama years. Most of the scandals were made by non stop agitation from conservatives.

When it comes to deflection, Donald J. Trump and his accolites will do everything in their power to blame former president Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for his turmoils.

Trump and his family are embattled by allegations the campaign colluded with the Russian Federation.

The Tulsa Police officer who was acquitted of the murder of Terrence Crutcher will no longer be employed with them. Betty Jo Shelby will be fired out the cannon effective August 3rd, 2017.

The only person who shot at an unarmed Crutcher initially was assigned to another task. She would witness Crutcher's vehicle in the middle of the road.

She would investigate and see a belligerent man acting erratically.

Of course she radios for assistance. The Tulsa Police would corner him near the vehicle. The police helicopter would arrive.

The concern trolls talk about the lack of Black fathers. The whataboutism usually plays a role in the fatal police shootings of Black men.

The helicopter would zoom on Crutcher walking away with with his hands up.

On the radio scanner, Shelby's husband, a police pilot would utter the words, "looks like a really bad dude."

Then in the few seconds, you hear Shelby shout, "shots fired."

Shelby shot Crutcher three times. She claimed that he was reaching into his vehicle. Apparently, she thought wrong. He was unarmed and the video evidence showed he was threatening her.

The Tulsa County Prosecutor tried to indict her on murder. A White jury decided that despite Shelby being the only one who shot him, despite the infamous 60 Minutes interview and her record, she was found not guilty.

Shelby bolted out the courtroom fearing the public backlash.

Shelby was soon rehired to the force but was restricted to desk work.

The dirty cop's backers is the Tulsa Police Union. They released her statement on her cannon firing.

It is with a heavy heart that I made the following decision. Effective August 3, 2017, I will resign from the Tulsa Police Department. Since being reinstated, I have that sitting behind a desk, isolate from all my fellow officers and the citizens of Tulsa is just not for me.

I am proud to have had the privilege to call myself a Tulsa Police Officer. It is an honor that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I give thanks to all the people in Tulsa, across Oklahoma, in this country, and those around the world who supported me before, during and since my trial.

I want to thank all my fellow officers for the moral support they gave me the last 10 months. I could not ask for better friends. I have had the honor of work I g with the finest officers in the nation.

As I have stated before, the incident with Terrence Crutcher was a tragedy for everyone involved, and I am very sorry he lost his life. I pray for healing for his family. I will continue to pray for the unity of our community, the safety of our citizens and our police officers.

Let me get this straight. Tulsa Police said she was too toxic and felt that putting her back on the streets could pose an immediate danger to all officers.

You keep the $36,000 in back pay. You might collect a pension and get a book deal. Maybe a contributor role at either Fox News or Sinclair Broadcast Group. Who knows?

Might want to keep your ass out the public eye for the next ten years.

She now is sorry for the family after she went on national television to denounce Terrence and his family. She boldly said that he deserved it. Her defense played "he was high on PCP" and his "previous encounters" as an excuse.

Now she wants to thank other cops who supported her. Like the ones who used his police cruiser to ran over an armed female suspect killing her. Or the billionaire, who was a neighborhood reserve officer who accidentally shot a fleeing man. Hell, Shelby's supporters are the bad cops that have numerous accounts of alleged brutality. Some of her supporters are White extremists.

Shelby was a cop who got away with murder. Her days were numbered the moment they said she was permanently restrict to desk duty. It was an ugly reminder that BAD COPS will get good cops killed.

Florida State Attorney Gets Razed By The Law!

Florida only Black state attorney was razed by the law.

The first Black state attorney for the state of Florida got razed by the cops. Body cam footage released this week shows Aramis Ayala being stopped by two Orlando cops.

The excuse was allegedly window tint.

The two cops were rocked by the notion that Ayala was a state attorney. It raised some eyebrows in the nation. Even a Black professional like Ayala was profiled by the cops.

Ayala, who gained national attention when she refuse to issue the death card on a terrorist who shot a police officer and a woman. A jilted boyfriend murdered a Orange County deputy and his estranged girlfriend. It ended at a local Walmart where he surrendered without shots fired.

Orlando was the scene of the worst mass shootings in the country. The Pulse Nightclub shooting elevated Ayala and those involved into the national spotlight.

The body camera video sparked outrage among some who say Ayala was pulled over due to racial profiling.

The traffic stop lasted two minutes and did not involve any shouting or raised voices. They claimed that they ran plates and pulled her over first for the vehicle not being registered.

Stay calm and don't make any sudden moves. Even a Black professional could be razed.

The state attorney was annoyed by the whole ordeal.

"Since its release, the video has had more than 2 million views and produced a flood of misinformation," said Ayala in a statement. "Including the filing of a lawsuit that is not true."

Ayala didn't violate any laws, and her license was properly registered.

"Although the traffic stop appears to be consistent with Florida law. My goal is to have a constructive and mutually respectful relationship between law enforcement and the community," she added in a statement.

She will have a talk with the John Mina, the chief of the Orlando Police to discuss the incident.

It's unfortunate that in America, even a Black professional is a "criminal" in the eyes of law enforcement.
