Ohio Republicans Scrambles An Egg!

Josh Mandel has thrown in the towel.
Ohio state treasurer Josh Mandel was going to have a rematch with Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) for the 2018 U.S. Midterms.

Seems like the Republican decided to abruptly end his campaign citing family issues.

Ohio was leaning to Brown.

Even though Donald J. Trump carried the state, Ohioans haven't felt the effects of the MAGA. Brown was a vulnerable candidate.

Brown is one of the many Democrats up for reelection in states that Trump carried. Now it's possible for a Republican to win that spot and pose a competitive challenge for Brown.

Mandel said he will no longer run for treasurer.
Sens. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Rob Portman (R-OH).
He said in a public statement that he is done with the political circus and he wants to be there for his wife and three children.

"Understanding and dealing with this issue is more important to me than any political campaign."

Mandel was the strongest they had.

Now they are calling for John Kasich to drop his bid for 2020 to run for the senate.  The Ohio governor is considering a primary challenge against Trump.

Trump was expected to throw his endorsement to Mandel.

Republicans are finding hard to recruit candidates.

Tucker Carlson: What's Wrong With My White Hoodie?

Tucker Carlson smiles. His ratings are skyrocketing. Carlson can thank his white extremist viewers watching his 8pm show
People are noticing that Fox News host Tucker Carlson is starting to talk like a white extremist.

The conservative agitator and chief publicist of The Daily Caller has been promoted to fill the spot left by the disgraced Bill O'Reilly.

For nearly a year, folks on the left notice a unique pattern in the way that Carlson is doing his program.

Besides the condescending rhetoric, he is just another one of those screeching noises that made Fox News the number one in cable news.

Fox News primetime lineup has survived O'Reilly cannon firing.

Carlson has been dabbling in this for years.

The many members of this white extremist movement they labeled the alt-right are encouraging their followers to tune in. They believe Carlson is delivering the news they been saying to White people for years.

Vox has detailed various episodes of Tucker Carlson Tonight. They notice a unique pattern on how he does his programming.

He doesn't flat out say racist stuff.

He does the word play. The word play is their type of language.

It's loved by folks like David Duke, Richard Spencer and Mike Cernovich. They are the voices of white extremism.

Snowjob!

Swing and a miss.
Alright the jobs report for the month of December is out today. We start of the first week of the new year with a modest gain of jobs. The month netted 148,000 jobs which kept the unemployment rate still at 4.1 percent.

Donald J. Trump begins the new year with record low job approval, numerous scandals and Americans disapproval of Congress.

Holiday retail sales were high but it's not stopping the bleeding. Some of the mainstream retailers are closing up shop.

Sears Holdings is closing 56 Kmart locations. Macy's is closing stores. Toys R Us is going to close stores. Many of the companies on the bubble include Papa John's, Office Max/Office Depot, H&M and the list will grow.

We are at risk of having a retail crisis.

In 2017, there were 2.1 million jobs added. I assume that retail and public sector jobs were left out.

About 94.2 million Americans aren't working. Given they did not include the destructive hurricanes, wildfires and mass shootings. They haven't bragged much about the wage gap.

The wage gap has been more challenging for the middle class. The paychecks aren't huge. And watching the hours and time served, people are happy with their jobs. When the tax cuts take effect, we will see if the paychecks are living up to the expectations the Republicans promised.

The labor force rate remains unchanged as well. About 62.7 percent of Americans are working/overworked.

Okay, here's the reason to why Americans aren't working.

1. DEAD
2. BORN
3. IN PRISON
4. IN PRIMARY SCHOOL
5. IN MIDDLE SCHOOL
6. IN HIGH SCHOOL
7. IN COLLEGE NOT LOOKING
8. VOLUNTEER
9. DISABLED
10. STAY AT HOME PARENT
11. RETIRED
12. QUIT ON THEIR OWN
13. NOT HIRING QUALIFIED
14. NATURAL DISASTERS
15. ACTIVE MILITARY
16. NOT HIRING TOO QUALIFIED
17. LAID OFF
18. FIRED FROM THE JOB
19. DESTRUCTION TO FACILITY
20. OUTSOURCING

So if you actually believe that Trump is doing good, you might be right. The inept leader is rolling back regulations and pushing for tax cuts to get the ball rolling on job growth.

That's a farce.

They say that unemployment for African Americans is at a record low. They said Black unemployment rate is at 6.8 percent.

Many companies aren't hiring Black workers. Many Black people are being either locked up, shot, or discriminated by America's capitalism.

So it begins.

Since the Republicans passed that $1.5 trillion dollar tax cut, we have seen the stock market raise over 25,000. However, there is no change in the lives of most Americans.

As explained in earlier postings, the magic of MAGA isn't helping the American people.

I point to the allegations plaguing Donald J. Trump and the Republican Party's inability to govern. Also, many see Republicans in a negative light.

Most Americans believe Trump is dishonest. That's not good. People are saying that Republicans are overreaching. This could hurt their chances to hold onto Congress.

They want to rehash a legacies of the 20th Century. The era of Ronald Reagan has long passed and the Republican Party is still stuck in that era.

It will hurt them.

The Cash Fever!

It's up again. Powerball and Mega Millions are huge and Americans are driven to buy lottery tickets again knowing the chances are slim.

In 2018, we once again celebrate the new year with resolutions. One resolution is making more money. The obvious way to make money is gambling.

Once again I offer an honest opinion about issues facing our community, the government and the media. These honest opinions are not taken as fact.

It's just an opinion. If you're interested in taking my advice, go for it.

Okay, the Multi-State Lottery Association once again announces the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots are reaching record amounts. In 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands both games are played.

The Powerball is played on Wednesday and Saturdays before 11pm (EST).

Mega Millions is played on Tuesday and Fridays before 11pm (EST).

For $2 or $3 with the Power Play or the Multiplier, a player could win a huge fortune. Mind you that a huge fortune comes with a huge price. The thrill of being a lottery winner can be exciting. It can be fun and life changing. But if you don't take the steps to be a smart winner, you may end up broke quickly.

Whether you use my advice or not, I want to say thank you again for taking an opportunity to read it.

So you purchased your Powerball or Mega Millions ticket. You payed $2 or more for that chance to win. Cool, ain't it.

Your chances of winning this jackpot is 1:274 million.

If I would win a record jackpot like this.............I don't know!

Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The last bet before the drawing is at 9:59pm. All drawings for the Powerball are held at 10:59pm.

Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays. The last bet before the drawing is at 10:44pm. All drawings for Mega Millions are held at 10:59pm.

The minimum Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots starts at $40 million.

The Powerball tickets use the 5/69 and 1/26 matrix. Each ticket cost $2.00. You must pick 5 numbers from 1 to 69 white balls and the Powerball from 1 to 26. These numbers can be called out, played again, written down, digitally apped or automatically picked. Make sure you play your numbers correctly.

The Mega Millions tickets were amended in October 2017. The matrix is now 5/70 and 1/25 matrix. Each ticket cost $2.00. You must pick 5 numbers from 1 to 70 white balls and the Mega Ball from 1 to 25. These numbers can be called out, played again, written down, digitally apped or automatically picked. Make sure you play your numbers correctly.

Anyway, the first thing you want to do whenever you purchase a lottery ticket, is have money on hand. The operator is required to take money before issuing a ticket. Make sure you have your numbers placed on either a betting card, your lottery app or a previous ticket. Most operators will help you plug numbers in through the terminal or place an automatic bet for you. However in the case of long lines or possible errors, it would be best to be prepared for the transaction. Some states do offer debit and credit transactions. Make sure you get your information from your local lottery commission.

You cannot cancel Powerball or Mega Millions tickets. They are property of the Multi-State Lottery Association and your state (or territory's) lottery commission. Any alteration, distortion or underage playing will void the Multi-State Lottery Association games.

Second, make sure you write your name, phone number or email address on your ticket. If the ticket is lost, stolen, or damaged, you may find it harder to win over lottery officials. If you don't write your name on the lottery ticket and you lost it or a crooked lottery operator gets his hands on it: It's your word against the winner.

Mind you that lottery operators have a license number. The place that sold the winning ticket does keep records of the transaction. The tickets are time stamped, verified and authorized. If you lose the ticket, make sure you file a police report. Do not get on television saying that you lost the ticket. It could cause a panic and if you're lying about it, you could face charges of misleading or filing a false police report.

If you are the winner of a Powerball or Mega Millions ticket and the amount is a lot. I would recommend you take a picture with the winning ticket. It will also be insurance if you happen to lose the ticket.
Mavis Wanczyk went public one day after the Powerball drawing. She won $760 million and decided to quit before she got her winings.
If you have a picture of the ticket and you have a police report, it's likely you have a case against the person who stole your ticket.

In most states, the required age to play the lottery is 18 years or older. Do not let anyone under the playing age purchase a ticket or lottery game. The operator could lose their license or you can forfeit your prize if the regional lottery operator determined that an underage player was the winner.

If you win the Powerball or Mega Millions jackpot, hire a qualified lottery and huge sum lawyer. Make sure that a large sum lawyer is certified in dealing with lottery wins. Don't entrust your winning with a law firm that doesn't know how to deal with lottery winnings, investment or day trade.

If you win the Powerball, Mega Millions or Luck for Life games, make sure you cancel your phone number and email address. Get rid of social media. Cancel your Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Whatsapp, YouTube and Dailymotion accounts. Cancel your dating profiles or social meeting profiles. It eliminates the junk food media from outing you and putting your face, name and contacts in the public arena.

Create a trust fund and have a trustee come forward on your behalf.

Make an investment in your money. Put your money in a trust fund if you have children or family members you can trust if you should die. Make a will or entrust. Make sure you know that you have a family member or a trusted friend who will take care of the winnings once you pass away.

If you're bragging about you're winnings, that's fine. But you best believe that you should cancel out your social media immediately. There's too many opportunists willing to swarm your social media with requests.

The woman who won the Powerball $760 million didn't keep quiet. The Massachusetts woman, Mavis Wancyzk quit her nursing jobs the moment she found out she won. I would not do that. She will be at risk of a potential attack.

I don't want to pay the state police to secure my home or my property. I don't want my son, his mother, my family and closest friends getting harassed or death threats.
Mandy Vanhouten rode off with a prize that she was supposed to share with her former friend Leslie Underwood.
If you do decide to become public and share your success with the junk food media, expect death threats, harassing calls, scammers and untrustworthy people to meddle. Family members, ex-girlfriends, ex-boyfriends, ex-spouses, fraudulent charity organizations and robbers are expected to exploit your riches. Keep a calm head and do not treat winning the lottery like its a "normal" thing.

If you purchase Powerball and Mega Millions from another state and you won, understand that it not a winner in your home state.

What does that mean?

Say you purchased a Mega Millions or Powerball ticket in Florida and you decided to head home to Massachusetts. You go to a local retailer and ask if you can "cash in" that $100 ticket. The operator says "I can't do that. It's not from our state."

You get upset and ask why you can't cash in a simple winning ticket from another state.

The usual comments whenever you try to cash in a ticket from another state is "Why can't you accept this 'winning' ticket: You guys play Mega Millions and Powerball too?"

Well the answer is simple. You have an out of state ticket that's a winner. That ticket must be returned to the state you've purchased it from.

You have to return back to the state you've purchased that ticket. Do not go into lottery retailer with a ticket from another state. Each state has a set of rules, regulations, state taxes and locality rules.

Be aware that 44 states, DC and two U.S. territories play Powerball and Mega Millions. The MUSL Association owns the rights to these games.

Whenever a lottery retailer handles a jackpot ticket, ask the cashier to make sure you hear the "winner" sound. Most machines will make a noise if you're a winner. There are also ticket verifying stations located near a lottery terminal. Make sure before you hand a ticket to a cashier, you are sure you won a jackpot. Ask for a claims form and/or a validation claim voucher.

For tickets that may be over a certain amount (i.e. amounts over $2,500), you might have to go to the lottery's regional offices. The offices are located in metropolitan areas.
Leslie Underwood upset over her former friend stealing her share of a jackpot. Mandy Vanhouten took a $300,000 prize after winning a scratch off ticket.
If you can't make it to a lottery retailer, that's alright. You can get an app for that. Some state lottery agencies offer apps on your iPhone, Android and smart devices.

You can avoid the lines, by going to iTunes or the Google Play store to get a free app for your state's lottery.

Never put your trust in a cashier who doesn't have experience in handling jackpots or validations of high value tickets.

Please, don't quit a job until you are sure you've won the lottery. Don't rush to judgment about being a lottery winner. Sometimes a person who wins the lottery never expects it to happen so don't sit around the house hoping the day will come you'll be the millionaire. Don't burn bridges with your job. You may end up back at it if you decide to go back into the workforce.

You might as well get those little things out the way. You should pay off debts to college loans, car loans, property, utility billings, spousal support, child support, back taxes and credit cards. Don't let these issues ruin your credit score or chances at buying better things.

Yeah, it's a huge change in your life. And you're going to have major things to accomplish. Go ahead and have fun with your earnings. Don't blow it on things that obviously will attract negative attention.

Yeah, the lottery is a gateway to putting in other venues. Some may blow their money at casinos, horsetracks, fantasy football and online poker. Some may blow it on drugs and alcohol.

Granted that you are given the right to do whatever you want with your earnings, but seriously are going to get a gold statue of your image?

Are willing to pay for five chefs, a butler, housekeeper, nanny, and chauffeur?

You going to buy property in Florida! Wow!

How about those nice fancy cars and that private jet?

How are you going to pay the feds with the new tax law passed by Congress and signed by Donald J. Trump?

Obviously, you might get a huge tax cut if you won the lottery.

Do whatever you want with your money, but be careful with it.

You know that money will change you. You might become stingy with the winnings. You should be humble.
Powerball, Mega Million and Lucky for Life cannot be cancelled.
Cause money will change a person when they're rich. Don't expect your life to be "normal" when you win the lottery. Cause it's not going to be normal. It could a great experience or the worst thing.

The Have-Nots Will Always Try To Make You Feel Guilty About Winning. Ignore Them And Be Happy About Your Success.

And before I go, I want to revisit a story that slipped past the radar.

Two women from Arkansas are feuding over a winning lottery ticket.

Amanda "Mandy" Vanhouten and Leslie Underwood were waitresses in Arkansas. They were best friends. They worked at this restaurant in Stuttgart and been there for years. They shared tips and trips together.

The owner of the restaurant gave them 10 scratch off tickets and the two made a verbal bond that whatever came out, they would share it.

The ticket that Mandy scratch was a top prize ticket of $300,000.

Excited the two saw the ticket and made a pact to cash it in together. A few days later, Leslie saw Mandy on the lottery page with the prize.

Mandy quit the restaurant and took off. She disabled her phone, social media and is off the radar.

Leslie was upset. She said that Mandy pulled a bitch move and she wants her cut. She decided to hire a federal lawyer and will hopefully find her before she takes off to the Cayman Islands.

If it wasn't in writing, it's not a contract.

Mandy did a foul move but it's legit. She doesn't have to share with anyone.

If she shows her face around town or publicly, she is at risk of getting attacked.

Remember folks, money changes people and lottery is the number one reason to why people are broke.

I play the lottery sometimes. However, I know my limits and I don't put my trust in a person who isn't a trusted friend. I don't believe people telling me they will give me a piece of the pot.

The only way I trust a person is a written and stamped contract.

So use my advise wisely. I am only giving my honest opinion and it could be informative.

Dayton Closing Schools!

Meadowdale High School in Dayton, Ohio. This is one of the schools the Dayton city school board plans on closing. Population decline and low attendance is forcing school district to close up schools.
Make America Great Again!

Ohio's sixth largest city is the third most miserable in the United States.

What used to be the hub of music, manufacturing and historical feats is now the hub of food desserts, a declining population and a depressing job market.

And now, we are at the verge of losing more than just the Gem in this city.

Dayton, Ohio is the hub of the opioid crisis. 1,400 people have died because of heroin and fentanyl (carfentanyl). Dayton has not seen the magic of our inept leader, Donald J. Trump.

Our community is on pace to lose 45,000 people. The current population of this city is 134,000 residents.

The city is broke.

Democratic mayor and gubernatorial candidate Nan Whaley is trying to rehash those red light/speed cameras. Residents are not pleased with the decision.

Dayton is the only city trying to squander money from those cameras.

Civil rights leaders claim that the cameras are placed in areas where minorities live. The areas where Whites live have no cameras.

The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority is raising fares up. They are eliminating three routes and increasing base fare to adjust to federal cuts to Medicare. The bus company could shutter and consolidate routes to inconvience riders. They are at risk of for a public strike.

Dayton has a segregation issue. The RTA still faces backlash from residents in conservative communities.

My community is losing population at such a fast pace, the local school district is considering closing a handful of schools and it is generating controversy.

Dayton Public Schools is expected to close 10 schools.

Eight elementary and two high schools are on the chopping block.

I will not give you a list.

Most of the schools are located on the poor side. The poor side is full of food desserts, blight, and a majority of Black residents.

There are some who are concern that the closings could put their students in schools outside their neighborhoods.

The superintendent Rhonda Corr is in the freezer. Her inept leadership has led to the city schools making this difficult decision. She allegedly bilked thousands of dollars to help herself and her boyfriends. Corr is expected to be fired out the cannon at the end of the school year.

The new school leadership is facing tough decision. Put themselves at risk of a recall by consolidating or letting things continue and eventually burn it to the ground.

So what will Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Housing and Urban Development Security Ben Carson and Donald J. Trump do?

Easy answer.

This issue shows the ineptness of Trump's leadership.

What will Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH), Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) and Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) do?

Turner and Brown are up for reelection. You don't hear about them or Portman visiting public schools or blighted neighborhoods. You don't hear about anything good from their earmarks they tossed into these bills Trump signed into law.

And yet we still vote these losers in.

What will John Kasich do?

Run for president in 2020. Still trying to make this claim that Ohioans are doing great under his leadership. Ohio is on pace to lose two legislative districts in the 2020 census. Ohio is going to be surpassed by either Georgia or North Carolina in population growth. The state saw dramatic losses in population and job losses. The unemployment rate here is 4.5%.

People are leaving this state that's why!

When his replacement comes in, what will that person do?

Offer phony platitudes and promises that they know they cannot keep. The Democrats and Republicans running for governor all well-established figures. The candidates are white and none of them are inspiring. People of color will not vote for any of them if the chance was given.

My old school is going to close.

Sad chapter. I am considering moving to Cincinnati to be closer to my son. Cause it's depressing here in Dayton and I am losing faith in achieving the success of yesteryear.

Dayton is going backwards.

Trump Turns on Bannon!

Bannon and Trump having a war of words.
Michael Wolff writes a book about the day to day actions at the White House.

The author writes about current and former White House staffers voicing strong concern about the mental state of the world's most inept leader.

One in particular is this disheveled looking drunk who tried to elect a pedophile into the U.S. Senate.

He went on record to say that a certain meeting with Russian operatives seems pretty treasonous. And this guy had the audacity to talk shit about the leader's family. He said that Ivanka and Jared Kusher are "cucks."

He believes that junior needs to ties his dick to a tree

It prompt the White House to fire back at him.

Don't believe the hype.

Steve Bannon and Donald J. Trump are besties!

Two peas in a white pod.

The junk food media is talking about the diss that Trump and the White House gave to Bannon, a former top adviser and now CEO of Breitbart, a white extremist website.

Here's the White House reaction in full.

Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.
Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base—he’s only in it for himself.
Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books.
We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down.
Trump also insults Bannon's impact on his election win.

"Steve doesn't represent my base --- he's only in it for himself."

I heard this story before.

Remember, Trump went after Bob Corker, Jeff Flake, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Jim Jordan and others. They often make up at the end of the day.
