As expected, we talk about issues facing our community, our government and the media. In 2018, we will keep the focus on what Donald J. Trump has done so far.
We will talk about people of color who became successful. We will talk about people of color in entertainment. We will talk about issues like mass shootings, conservative outrage towards change and the entertainment industry.
We work hard everyday on this blog. We appreciate your support.
Kenya Barris, Larry Wilmore, Laurence Fishburne and Anthony Anderson produce a spin off to the hit ABC comedy, black-ish. The show is called grown-ish and it features the oldest Johnson daughter. The show also will eventually phase into ABC if it becomes a success.
The actress Yara Shahidi will reprise the role of Zoey Johnson. She will be heading to college. She will meet new friends and a nemesis.
The cast of Grown-ish will feature a diverse cast including Yara Shahidi.
The show is set to premiere on Freeform this week. There is a 13 episode order and we will watch Shahidi grow. As Zoey heads off to Southern California University, she adjust to being independent. She
Deon Cole who plays Charlie will be a regular. He will teach a class as a part time professor.
The cast will include Chris Parnell, Trevor Jackson, Emily Arlook, Francis Raisa, Jordan Buhat and singing duo Chloe and Hallie Bailey.
Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross will make cameo appearances.
The hit comedy black-ish is once again nominated for the Golden Globes.
It will return Tuesday night at 9pm.
Grown-ish will premiere on Freeform, a Disney-ABC Television network.
We close out 2017 with the ending of careers, lives and television. As usual, I want to say thank you for reading our blog. Without you, we wouldn't be doing this. And in 2018, we will continue to offer you the best we got.

What caught your attention in 2017?
1. Mass Shootings.
From January to December we have covered mass shootings. The most deadliest mass shooting happened in Las Vegas. Most Americans want stronger background checks and a watch list for gun hoarders and extremists.
Nothing is being done to curb gun violence. All I've heard is deflection.
"What about Chicago?"
"Black on whatever violence."
"More good guys with guns."
"Gun free zones don't stop gun violence."
"It's too early to talk about this."
"Its always the [Democrats or Republicans] politicizing tragedies."
"Our thought and prayers to the victims."
Our inept lawmakers continue to allow this shit to happen. Republicans refuse to act on passing any reasonable measure. Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) continues this crusade, even though he was gravely injured after a mass shooting. The moron believes the 2nd Amendment is protected for Americans.
The junk food media picks and chooses which mass shooting gets national coverage. Yeah, the Las Vegas mass shooting was tragic, but there were mass shootings in every state, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.
So I can just say this with no remorse.
You're not safe.
Your thoughts and prayers are meaningless. There is no God.
2. Trump Most Unpopular President In Modern History.
Donald John Trump, Sr. is the 45th president of the United States. The former reality television star and business mogul has already became one of the world's most unpopular leaders.
The surprise victory has gotten many Americans wondering if there is election meddling. Trump so far has the denied any involvement in election meddling.
So far he's only been in office for one year and he's already became the most polarizing figure ever. Trump's policies are very unpopular. He made a promise to his constituents that he will try to build a border wall and have Mexico pay for it. He wants to impose a Muslim ban on travelers coming into the United States. He opened up public lands for oil drilling despite protests. The opening of the Keystone XL pipeline was a disaster. It sprung a leak near Standing Rock Reserve.
He backtracked opening hunting for endangered species after a public backlash.
The repeal and replacement of Obamacare is happening. It is being dismantled through nefarious deeds. The repeal of the Affordable Care Act is extremely unpopular and Trump continues this onward March to taking away healthcare from millions of Americans.
Those proposals were stalled or slowly moving along.
He managed to get a tax reform plan through (despite not reading it or knowing what's inside the law).
Trump was quick to condemn Muslims and immigrants who committed crimes and terrroists attacks. However he showed weak responses to mass shootings, attacks by White extremism and domestic terrorism.
Over 35% of his staff resigned or got fired out the cannon. Most of the staff is either under federal watch or attached to extremism. The most notable was Michael Flynn. His short reign as National Security Adviser came tumbling down when the feds were investigating him for leaking secrets to Russia.
So far, Trump's first year has been a disaster.
3. Sexual Abuse Second Most Dangerous Threat!
Tarana Burke became a voice of power. She started a movement and it gave Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan, Ashley Judd, Terry Crews and James Van Der Beek a voice.
If it wasn't for Donald J. Trump winning the 2016 presidential election, women would have stayed silent. This year has been the downfall of many in politics, entertainment, religion, technology and the newsroom.

Women became the powerful voice this year. Hopefully women will run for higher office to oust these assholes.
4. Cannon Fire Hits Junk Food Media!
Did you see the end of your favorite show?
Did your favorite actor or actress become a pariah among Hollywood.
Did you know a favorite celebrity passed away?
As usual, the entertainment industry was rocked by Harvey Weinstein. The media now is doing soul searching in The way they promote their shows.
Most are calling for more diversity.
Television shows like Fresh off The Boat, Power, Empire, Star, black-ish, Jane the Virgin and Black Lightning are the only minority shows that got greenlighted this year. The shows are still mostly White and male.
5. The Mueller Probe!
When Trump fire James Comey, he triggered a FBI special probe into his alleged collusion with Russia.
As the probe gets deeper into Trump, his allies have been relentless attacking Robert Mueller, the FBI's special prosecutor.
It started getting interesting when Mueller handed indictments to five senior aides to Trump's former campaign staff. It also got into Michael Flynn, the disgraced National Security Adviser who had a table with Vladimir Putin.
Russia continues to deny any involvement in meddling. Trump seems to agree with it. Despite American agencies and allied intelligence determining and confirming Russia meddling, Trump and his allies obsess with Hillary Clinton and her ties to Russia.
Fox News has ran polar opposite to the probe.
So far the network has defended Trump by using weasel words to justify collusion with the Russian government. The FBI is working hard to get this wrapped up.
Trump is the one slowing the investigation down. If I was him, I would not bring it up. Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos, and Mike Flynn could bring Trump's presidency down.
6. White Extremism Given A Pass.
Donald J. Trump has opened the door to white extremism. We know know names in this movement. We saw what happened in Charlottesville. We saw social media give light to these figures who are the underbelly of society.
Trump said these are very fine people.
Heather Heyer died because of a white terrorist. Trump didn't care.
We seen the rise of Alex Milo Yiannopoulos, Tomi Lahren, Laura Loomer, Richard Spencer, Matt Heimbach, Jim Hoft, Andrew Anglin, Jason Keller, Mike Cernovich, Lucian Wintrich, Jack Posobiec, Gavin McInnes, and Steve Bannon.
They have became household names.
7. Black Rebellion!
Colin Kaepernick is a hero among Black Americans. He became a prominent voice in the Black Lives Matter movement. He was sidelined by the NFL after he took a knee to the national anthem.
This year we see more Black athletes protest injustice. NFL players joined in solidarity to take a knee. It riled up Trump and Papa John's Pizza.
Trump called them "son of a bitches."
John Schnatter said that the protests were hurting his business and he wanted the NFL to stop it. It lead to him being fired from his own company.
During the kneels, NFL owners were plotting to sideline any player who took a knee. The owners of the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans were considering sacking it's players.
Carolina Panthers owner loses his spot after allegations of sexual abuse. Sean "Puffy" Combs expressed interest in buying the team.
8. Will Power!
The massive devestation of nature. Here in the United States and the territories. We seen hurricanes destroy Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, and Georgia. The junk food media covers it for a few days to generate sympathy and donation drives. Once they leave, the areas still are destroyed and there's no end in sight.
Puerto Rico is a prime example of how our government failed. It might be a dose of racism and sheer ignorance, but Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens and the majority of them speak Spanish. It's been over four months and still half of the territory has no power to function.
Wildfires have destroy California. The so called Thomas fire was one of the most destructive fire in modern history. People lost their homes to one of the largest fires in American history.
Tornados have destroyed areas. Still many Americans are trying to get their lives back together.
Freezing temperatures and extreme heat has killed people. Trump still believes these events aren't associated with climate change.
Wicked weather events have lead to many Americans dying. Blizzards are getting more brutal even in states that rarely get snowfall.
Rain events have caused massive flooding and erosion of land. It weakens infrastructure and our government is pussyfooting on road, bridge and tunnel repairs. The potential of a natural disaster that affects travel is high.
9. We're Going The Wrong Way!
Yeah, the economy is doing well. It's mainly because, Congress couldn't do it job. The only major economic accomplishment is the Republicans passing tax reform.
The tax cut reform is now a law. It has forced a major overhaul to the tax code. It also allowed earmarks to slide through.
We have an opioid crisis in the United States. Trump declared it a national crisis but so far hasn't offered any solutions to solve this matter.
No infrastructure bills so far. It's delay construction to freeways, bridges and our electrical grid.
We have very low approval of Trump, Congress and local governments.
Something is going to happen. The voters are not impressed with the leadership. Someone is going to pay the price.
Call it liberal bias all you want. But Democrats handle business all the time.
10. What's Next?
In 2018, who knows? I know that I am a father trying to adjust to being a parent. I am not satisfied with my job. I owe taxes and money isn't pouring in.
But I am still confident and willing to keep the faith. Things will get better.
The U.S. Midterms could be a game changer. Could the Democrats win control of Congress?
Who knows?
The Republicans really suck. The Democrats suck too. If we continue having Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer as the leaders, we will continue to be demonized and vilified by these morons.
I believe it's time for fresh leadership.
Trump has three years left in office. We can make it even more stressful for him and Mike Pence. Keep resisting and keep pressure on Trump.
Mass shooting in the Denver area. Colorado deputies were shot by a terrorist after a domestic call.
Once again another mass shooting in the United States. As expected, we will hear people offer their thoughts and prayers to those who were killed in another senseless gun massacre. The phony sympathy will play out in the junk food media for a few days before we move onto another controversy.
Details are emerging about Douglas County boys being shot by a terrorist.
Douglas County is south of the Denver metro area is on high alert for a possible mass causality event.
This happened at a local apartment complex. This was supposedly a domestic violence call. The most dangerous thing a cop has to face.
Five deputies were shot. One deputy is dead. Three individuals are dead. Possibly the terrorist is killed either by cop fire or going out like a punk.
Now I don't have all the details to how many people were killed or injured.
We close out 2017 with Donald J. Trump, John Hickenlooper, Sens. Cory Gardner (R-CO), and Michael Bennet (D-CO) being notified about a tragedy in the state of Colorado.
I expect the so-called Blue Lives Matter people to automatically blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama and the Democratic Party for the mass shooting.
I expect that former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke to remark on how this tragedy happened and throw the blame solely on people who have nothing to do with it.
We shift to the blame game once again and the latest poll that I got for you.

So how is this going to play out this New Year's Eve?
Troll trying to elude a federal lawsuit. This white extremist is the founder of notorious white extremist website responsible for radicalizing a man to kill a woman in Charlottesville.
White extremism is a bigger threat than terrorism. Donald J. Trump had given the movement of bigots a voice by saying they were very fine people.
We continue to give these nuts a platform. I don't know why we will waste our time giving this guy a voice.
I refuse to promote the website. I don't want the drama!
All I can say is this troll is being served with a federal lawsuit for sparking a harassment campaign against a woman who owned a building that a notorious white extremist leader once owned.
Tanya Gersh was a target of an online campaign to violently kill her and her family for spurning this extremist. She lived in Whitefish, Montana and knew the mother.
Troll encorauge a campaign to stalk the family of Heather Heyer. The civil rights activist was killed when a white extremist used his Dodge Challenger to run over protesters. She died from injuries.
The mother of this white extremist was forced to sell her building when her son became infamous.
This white extremist has been actively encouraging guerrilla activism and has sued college campuses recently. He vows to get his message to those who felt the world left his people behind.
This troll is from Columbus, Ohio and is the founder of a controversial white extremist website.
This troll actively promoted the United the Right rally in Charlottesville.
He is notorious for doxing campaigns against people who stood up to him and his allies of this white extremist movement labeled the alt-right.
HuffPost has been in contact with a man who is supposedly watching this troll's movements.
He was recently spotted in a superstore in Columbus.
Troll made life miserable for a Montana woman. She is suing him and wants his white extremist website completely shutdown.
The troll claims that he isn't living in the United States. He says he is living Lagos, Nigeria with the Blacks. He says good luck on finding him.
This troll used the help of a banned internet troll and others to elude the lawsuit.
The Southern Poverty Law Center has helped Gersh with this lawsuit. She is now seeking a hefty sum from this troll.
His website has been shutdown numerous times. He was responsible for calling his followers to use any means necessary to stop antifa and Black Lives Matter counter protesting in Charlottesville.
One acolyte managed to kill Heather Heyer. The troll was pleased. He said the world didn't need a ________________.
Anonymous has leaked his information and those who contributed to the site.
Now everyday, this troll watches his back. He is armed and threatened violence against anyone willing to sending him to the pearly gates.
He will meet karma in 2018. We watch him and folks like him be exposed and shut down.
In the United States and Canada, gun violence is an epidemic. And like most, these latest incidents of mass casualty events are often played for a few days and then ignored. The politicians offer their phony thoughts and prayers and continue to do nothing to control the ongoing issue with mass shootings.
Donald J. Trump and Justin Trudeau both are polarizing leaders.
They want to protect the sanctity of gun rights while trying to tiptoe over how to deal with gun violence. Too many lives are lost to mass casualty events and yet we offer nothing but condolences. I'm done offering my thoughts and prayers. I demand action. If we have to get rid of politicians who support the gun lobbyists, then we shall continue to hold them accountable.
We will eventually get rid of these politicians who continue to be in the pocket of the National Rifle Association and other groups that support genocide of people.
Instead of me doing separate postings, I just consolidated these three incidents into one post.
Long Beach, California.
Terrorist killed his law firm partners. I won't point out the terrorist. Major Langer second from the left and Ron Beck on the right were victims of the shooting.
Terrorist kills his former co workers.
The Los Angeles Police Department had to deal with another issue in the sprawling metropolis. The Long Beach Police determined the terrorist was a disgruntled worker at a law firm.
The terrorist killed a former partner at the Larry H. Parker building. He shot another partner before he went out like a punk. The offices of Manger, Beck, Serbin, Mendoza and Harrison was the scene of crime.
No telling it who was the disgruntled worker. It wasn't the two victims.
75 year old Major Langer was one of the confirmed victims. Another victim was injured. Ron Beck was seriously injured but will survive.
The residents of Long Beach did not expect a mass shooting to happen in a usually quiet neighborhood.
Oak Bay, British Columbia.
Two children were killed by their father in a murder suicide. The terrorist was unfit to be a parent and was warned by the victim's mother not to leave her children with him. Aubrey and Chloe Berry were young lives lost.
Terrorist kills his daughters after losing custody.
The bodies of 6 year old Chloe and 4 year old Aubrey Berry were discovered by the Oak Bay Police along with their father. This was a murder suicide.
Mother, Sarah Cotton warned child services that the father was unstable.
Oak Bay is four miles from Victoria.
Canada has seen a spark in gun violence as well.
The terrorist tried to kill himself but failed at doing so. The Provincial boys grabbed his ass and took him to the hospital to be treated.
He will face murder charges and could face LIFE in the iron college. The terrorist is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. I will not say this terrorist name.
Troy, New York.
Family of four brutally claimed by a rival. Shanisse and Jeremiah Myers died with their mother Shanta and partner Brandi Mells.
Outside of Albany, New York is the city of Troy.
There was a brutal murder of a woman, her children and her female partner.
The cold blooded killing also got some national attention.
Two terrorists killed a couple and their children in a possible love triangle.
The victims were 35 year old Shanta Myers, daughter Shanisse age 5, son Jeremiah age 11 and her live in girlfriend 22 year old Brandi Mells.
The suspects were charged with capital murder. In New York, they have no death penalty. So if convicted the two face LIFE without any early dismal from the iron college.
The bodies of these victims were found inside their home. The family said that one of the suspects knew the family and possibly dates one of the victims.
Prominent Black Lives Matter activist Erica Garner has passed away after suffering a fatal heart attack. She was the daughter of Eric Garner, the father of seven who was killed by dirty cop Danny Pantaleo of the NYPD.
The death of Garner was sparked by a fatal chokehold and a heart attack. The NYPD tried to restrain him for selling looseys, a slang for cigarettes.
Pantaleo would be cleared of murder and sidelined to desk duty.
Since the death, his daughter became a vocal activist.
She demanded NYPD clean house of its racism, police brutality and cover ups.
She would be actively calling for justice for all people of color killed by law enforcement.
She called out politicians for not hearing the concerns and remained an active voice until her death.
Eric Gardner's death sparked a movement.
Word hit the internet this Saturday she was taken off life support.
Her legacy will not go in vein. We will continue the fight for her, Eric and people of color killed by bad cops.
Bad cops kill good cops and everyone around them.
Erica leaves behind her mother, Esaw Garner. She leaves behind a daughter and newborn son. She has five siblings and a half sibling.
Turd getting flushed. This man is accused of triggering a fatal police shooting.
Tyler Barriss is the alleged suspect involved in a fatal police shooting of Andrew Finch. The officer who shot and killed Finch is in the freezer pending an outcome of whether he was justified in using deadly force.
Known as "SwAuTistic", the California man is being held on suspicion if involuntary manslaughter and making false police reports.
The prankster was arrested before for doing this stuff. The last time he said that he misplaced bombs at a local ABC affiliate in Los Angeles.
I guess he has a habitual habit of doing this shit.
The man was fingered as the person who triggered a deadly encounter between the police and an unarmed man.
The suspect called the Wichita Police on the report of a man holding people hostage with a firearm.
It drove the police to Finch's home. They ordered him out the door and told him to not move. As Finch was trying to pull up his pants, a cop put five rounds in him.
A prankster calling 911 led to Wichita Police killing a man. Andrew Finch leaves behind two children.
Finch was a father of two and the police didn't find a weapon on him.
This gamer who played Call of Duty was placing a measey bet on a rival and decided to tease the rival.
The rival gave the suspect an address and the suspect followed on it. He decoded to call the law and made this call.
Now if charged in California and Kansas for these charges, he could get LIFE in the iron college. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
