President Donald J. Trump has not done a damn thing for Black America. In his 2017 to 2021 term and 2025 to present term, all I see is basically a divisive president obsessing over a disgraceful legacy. A president easily manipulated by the elements of white supremacy. Any Black person who embraces his views are entitled to it. But again, don't expect a plate when you decide to crash the cookout.

His policies ain't making my paycheck great. His policies are not certainly making the cost of living decline. His policies only make himself and the elite survive while everyone else is violently turning on one another.

We try to mind our business but I guess they got to dress up like us, create artificially intelligent videos making us violent and draw parallels to primates to just to piss Black America off.

In the same day, they gaslight us over Black voters not voting for Winsome Earle-Sears, a woman who said that Blacks should get over slavery.

They want us to question the Blackness of Barack Obama, Kamala Harris and Duchess Meghan of Sussex but accept the Blackness of Wesley Hunt, Byron Donalds, Tim Scott, Burgess Owens and John James.

They want Blacks to embrace conservatism so they can be hateful bigots to other vulnerable people. 

I mean rappers, athletes and media personalities who back Trump get praise, television appearances and platforms while the ones who oppose the president are in Laura Ingraham's words: "Shut up and dribble."

Our pain is vilified online. The memes of Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, Jacob Blake, Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, Jonathan Crawford III, Breona Taylor, Sandra Bland, Daunte Wright, Sonya Massey, Kyren Lacy, Jordan Neely, Tyre Nichols, Atatiana Jefferson, Rayshard Brooks, Ahmad Abrury, Jayland Walker and Michael Brown are shared through hateful memes and endless banters about how they deserved it.

Yet, the same folks who thought it's funny mocking their deaths are going full crazy on memes mocking Trump, Charlie Kirk, Benjamin Netanyahu and Stephen Miller.

Lily Gaddis and Brittany Venti decided to bring out their Blackness as two unattractive white women who secretly crave the rod of a big Black..... oh damn.

They need young rising faces like Kirk. They need Erika Kirk, Scott Presler, Laura Loomer, Tomi Lahren, Riley Gaines, Tim Miller, Ben Shapiro and Katie Miller. They need to keep the revenue of rage going.

They can incorporate white supremacy with the daily dose of endless distractions.

We need to start the Great Black American Cookout. A gathering of Black leaders and community activists who want to make it about food, culture and activism. And of course, everyone is invited so we want make sure that conservative agitators can pick up a plate.

Just make sure you don't make it about click bait and divisiveness. Y'all can disagree with the Black community but please keep your noses out the business if you ain't looking for plate.

We need to address voter rights, police reform, health and safety, gun violence, ending racial bias in housing and business loans, disspelling anti-immigration rhetoric, anti-LGBTQ rhetoric, ending the perception of Black violence and bringing unity to the Black community. 

Okay, again many Black Americans are not offering sympathy for Kirk.

His rhetoric was divisive towards Black people. He said things about Black women which made it nearly impossible for some sympathy. 

Like I said, his children will take the most blow. Having their father gone is heartbreaking. But to see Erika Kirk confirm the movement continues show no foot off the gas when it comes to political violence.

Erika makes it very hard for people to even show remorse towards her. She is a widow and now has to raise her children by herself. She might find love in the future, but the shock of losing Charlie in such a way has traumatized her.

It's no secret that Republicans think very unfavorably of immigrants, Blacks, Muslims, transgender Americans and progressives.

It is no secret that Republicans love to push freedom while in reality act like the big government nannies.

It's free speech.

Sharing images of Black women with children by calling them future thugs. Or White women with children who were born from a father of color. They certainly love calling white women traitors for loving outside their race.

They showed us who they are when they harassed HBCUs in the wake of that white nationalist's death.

They showed us who they are when the Supreme Court rolled back long established rulings, laws and achievements to protect the fragile feelings of white privileged Americans.

What do they want to offer us next?

A bunch of memes depicting Black people posing with firearms, eating chicken, watermelons, peanuts or turkey legs. A mene of Black people drinking a 40oz malt liquor or a grape drink.

Or they want to make memes of bearded men expressing their freedoms to wear a dress, heels or makeup.

They certainly love to attack transgender women for looking way better than the women they try to well.... in Trump’s word "pull up to and grab 'em by the...."

Or a meme where a picture of a turban wearing individual posing with a gun or a depiction of an Arab with the decapitated head of a white person.

Republicans, libertarians and conservatives have always been like this. It was never a closed door or a private chat.

They referred to Black people as monkeys and “the watermelon people” and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies and driving them to suicide and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.

People, please do not resort to the levels of those who profit off the anger. The anger of right wing Americans in the wake of white nationalist Charlie Kirk's death has sparked a censorship and harassment campaign.

The right wing ain't got the smoke for the shooter, his family and the Utah state government allowing open carry on school campuses. They ain't got the smoke for the people who advocate violence against people perceived as threats to society.

They want to go after the vulnerable. Typical of these folks.

All the while, the rich are getting richer. Israel is still committing a genocide and war crimes from every angle. Russia is pushing further in Ukraine with Lithuania and Poland next on the country's agenda. China is becoming the superpower as they are moving on from exporting goods to the United States for other nations.

China is working on solving problems the United States failed at doing. 

Food prices are increasing. 

General merchandise prices are increasing.

The cost of living is increasing.

Inflation has rising this month.

Unemployment is increasing.

Gasoline prices are increasing.

Wages are stagnant.

Jobs are not satisfying.

Where does the outrage go to?

So No One Is Talking About The New York State Worker Shooting A DoorDash Worker!

Yet, the Federal Bureau of Investigation can raid the homes of some Arab American teens who were on some damn Twitch feed ranting about Israel and Jews. 

Yes, let's claim terrorism if they say a "pumpkin strike."

Here in the United States, the most dangerous people in the country are white men and white boys. I should include white women tears because they end up locking up people of color faster than a Black or indigenous woman.

A New York state highway controller and his wife are being charged with attempted murder. It all stemmed from a wrong address and a delivery order. It happened in May and yet I just found out about it. 

See how the junk food media just isolate acts of terrorism by white people on people of color. I am not saying the obvious, it is what is!

The DoorDasher probably was duped by those online trolls. They just do their jobs delivering food and groceries to locations. These white men are so fucking triggered by the click rage online they perceive Blacks, Muslims, Jews, Arabs, gays, transgender people, immigrants, progressive, Socialists and Communists as threats to white hierarchy.

Folks like Charlie Kirk feed into the notion that the status quo kept America great.

President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Republicans and some of those damn Democrats feed on the notion that if we change the status quo, the country is going to fail.

Capitalism has not make people any prosperous.

An upstate New York town official accused of shooting and wounding a food delivery person says he was protecting his family and has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and other charges.

Ring doorbell camera footage shows John Reilly III, the highway superintendent in Chester, a town nearly 60 miles (96km) north of Manhattan, shooting at the DoorDash driver’s car on May 2nd as the person was trying to leave Reilly’s property. Prosecutors allege the shooting was unprovoked, saying the driver was lost and his cellphone battery was dead, as he only tried to see if Reilly had ordered the food he was trying to deliver.

He fires into the vehicle striking the DoorDash driver. Mind you, the driver fled.

But Reilly’s lawyer, Thomas Kenniff, said in a phone interview on Tuesday that Reilly, worried about a home invasion, was legally defending his family after the driver insisted on entering his home.

Reilly pleaded not guilty on Monday during an appearance at the Orange County courthouse in Goshen. The charges also include first-degree assault and weapons crimes. He did not comment while leaving the courthouse and remains free on bail.

The Orange County district attorney, David Hoovler, called the shooting a “horrifying” act of violence. The driver, who authorities have not named, was shot in the back and seriously wounded.

Video clips from Reilly’s Ring doorbell camera, obtained by TV station News 12 and the Times Union, show the series of events. One clip shows the driver walking up to Reilly’s front door with a plastic bag and ringing the doorbell. Another, from a short time later, appears to show the driver back in his car and Reilly exiting his house with a handgun. Reilly then fires a shot into his front lawn while saying, “Go.”

The video then shows Reilly shooting at the car as the driver is making a three-point turn in the driveway. He fires a third shot as the car is driving away.

Kenniff said the videos do not tell the full story.

Kenniff said Reilly’s 12-year-old daughter woke him up after the driver rang the doorbell and he answered the door, telling the driver he didn’t order any food. The driver, who was not wearing anything indicating he was from DoorDash, insisted on coming into the house to charge his phone, Kenniff said.

Kenniff alluded to the fact that there had previously been home invasion robberies “locally and around the country”, adding: “My client, I think quite reasonably … tells the gentleman to leave and advises that he’s going to get a gun that he uses for home protection, as a lot of people in rural areas justifiably do.”

Kenniff said Reilly fired shots in an attempt to get the driver to leave his property and didn’t intend to harm the man.

“I think that this was a situation where my client reasonably believed that there was a threat and he took actions to try to protect his home and protect his family, and unfortunately there may have been unintended consequences,” Kenniff said.

The shooter claims he was protecting his family. Why did his wife delete the encounter?

Kenniff and his firm also represented Daniel Penny, who was acquitted of criminally negligent homicide in December in connection with the chokehold death of Jordan Neely on a New York City subway in 2023.

Police executed a search warrant at Reilly’s house and seized eight illegally possessed guns, including the .45-caliber handgun used to shoot the driver, Hoovler said. While Reilly had a federal license to sell firearms, he did not have a New York state firearms license or pistol permit, making his possession of the guns illegal, Hoovler said.

“The unprovoked violence alleged in this case is truly horrifying,” Hoovler said in a statement.

Reilly's wife, Selina Nelson-Reilly, has since been indicted on charges of hindering prosecution and tampering with physical evidence. She is accused of initially denying knowledge of the incident to investigators and then permanently deleting 17 videos from the couple's smart doorbell camera that captured the shooting. 

The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

These are the justifications in how the junk food media portrays white shooters and Black shooters. Instead of labeling thugs, callous killers or terrorists, we paint a picture of the white shooter as a loving, caring, family oriented man. Fuck that shit!

The person with easy access to firearms should be the only answer. Alas, the far right is hoping for this to be a person they can scapegoat as their next de jour of outrage.

The real issue is not just guns, it's white men and white boys. They are losing their goddamn minds. Inspired by loneliness, politics, job loss, social media trends, endless perceptions of others, the lack of opportunities (besides joining the military) and the need to be ahead of everyone else is what drives these fools to commit endless chaos.

White privilege also santizes the white shooters. Already we are getting details of the mass shooters. Glaring profiles of these white mass shooters to paint them as unfortunate circumstances. Ignoring the fact, these terrorists had signs of potential danger but their families thought it was just noise.

That restraining order doesn't mean much to a deranged individual. It's a trigger!

I wish things could have turned out well! But unfortunately, a shooter never abides to a court order!

How can a piece of paper protect a victim when it's not reliant on stopping the perpetrator (from causing harm)?
The real issue is gun violence. Not comedians. Not activists. Not Black men. Not immigrants. Not Muslims. Not transgender Americans. Not video games. Not movies. Not rap music. Not the left.

A man made crisis that can be solved if these incompetent politicians and media agitators stop making excuses for the continued gun violence epidemic. Instead offering words, how about policies?

The United States is downsizing in democracy and freedom.

So I just want to say that the Second Amendment is White, period.

A bullet does not care about color. We all bleed red and so many lives are lost to gun violence and Republicans offer no solutions other than "thoughts and prayers" with a touch of "lock em up."

Gun violence is the number one threat in the United States.

I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns. Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases. 

Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.

According to the far right: White shooters are always mentally ill or lone wolves. The far right believes they should receive some sympathy for their crimes. Black shooters are unrepentant thugs and criminals who deserve lengthy time in the iron college or death. Gay and transgender shooters are active groomers who want to be pedophiles on children. Muslim shooters are terrorists who should be surveiled or deported. Hispanic and Asian shooters are illegal immigrants and they should be deported. According to the far right, almost all white [or non-white] mass shooters are registered Democrats [leftist or some progressive activist] because they have liked or done one thing common to the politics of the left. Of course, they often share or post disinformation by using the ridiculous "Sam Hyde" meme or make bogus social media platforms with the shooter's image as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white or associated with conservative causes. The far right says a white person should "protect" themselves from thugs, terrorists or protesters. They believe the use of firearms are "justified" if they are protesting or even instigating a conflict. The far right believes if a shooter is a police officer, an active military member, a veteran or a citizen who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified. If the shooters are teens in urban communities, the far right automatically assume the gunmen are Black. Even if the evidence turns out that the shooter has alignment with conservative causes or Republicans, the far right dismisses it as a hoax or a plot to demonize the MAGA movement.

The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox, Twitter and they force it into national news. They make the case to blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Democrats, Rev. Al Sharpton and rap music for Black on whatever violence. Republican lawmakers who do not live in urban neighborhoods often troll social media to talk about gun violence or crime in Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee and New York City while not doing a damn thing to stop it. If a white person shoots a Black person, the shooter is given the benefit of doubt. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms.

Trump gave us open season.

There's no sickness in the head. Most mass shooters legally obtain their assault rifles without little background checks. They have likely no criminal history and they are willing to use the assault weapon in the only thing it's good for: Killing numerous lives.

Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local community member, your school board member, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions.

We need to put pressure on Republicans and Democrats to do something to improve everyone's lives.

Keep pressure on them with Israel. 

Israel must be held accountable for war crimes and the U.S. must end its aid. 

Our taxpayer money should not help Israel any further.

Republicans have extremely unpopular ideas. They will find out the risk of supporters being turned off by their policies.

Expect more gun violence from people who are quick to take lives instead of letting the police handle the matter. Oh, police take lives too.

Biden, Harris and the Democratic Party failed at understanding what is more important to the country. Trump, Vance and the Republican Party have already failed at understanding.

Both parties support of Israel had made some Arab Americans, Muslim and young voters vote against them. They have cost Biden a second term and Harris a historical victory.

You want no more qualified immunity for police officers who use deadly force when it's not justified. Let them know that deporting law abiding immigrants seeking refuge is inhumane. You want the U.S. to improve the immigration process. You want the U.S. lawmakers stop dehumanizing human beings. You want the U.S. to prove to the world its a beacon of freedom. You want our American military out of our cities, the Middle East and every fucking international conflict in the world. You want legislation to focus on lowering the cost of rent, lowering the cost of food, lowering the cost of hospital visits, improving healthcare and building relationships with other nations. Let them know that you will not tolerate a government shutdown which affects federal services for Americans in need or in support of services. Let them know that pulling out of the UN Human Rights Organization, World Health Organization and Paris Climate Accords will put the U.S. in danger when catastrophic event happen. Let them know that you are tired of private equity firms getting away with destroying small businesses and long established companies. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel and Ukraine. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-semitic or in support of terrorism because you support the freedom of Palestinians. You are tired of the propaganda being forced on your media platforms.

We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire, a weapons embargo, sanctions and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more domestic or foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists and special interest groups.

It was conducted in Dearborn, Michigan, the largest city in the United States with an Arab American majority. The city has 105,000 residents and is considered Wayne County, Michigan's second largest community.

They can clearly promote the whole "Jihadist plot" that was supposedly to be carried out on Halloween but ignore all the motives of a white man who rammed his truck into a Mormon church in Flint. You know he killed a lot of people and set the church on fire.

When folks are questioning the Charlie Kirk assassination, some point to Israel. The white nationalist was apparently cutting Israel loose. He was loosing Jewish donors because he spotlighted Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson, two fierce critics of Israel from the far right. The footage of the shooter is a mixed bag of inconsistent times. The shooter refuses to talk to federal and state authorities.

President Donald J. Trump is "flooding the zone" with all this chaos. We are in the fifth week of a government shutdown and the president hosted a "luxury" Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend.

I wonder if the FBI agents tasked to breaking this up are getting paid?

FBI Director Kash Patel allegedly used resources to see his not honey trap girlfriend.

The FBI arrested several suspects on Friday who were allegedly plotting a terrorist attack in Michigan over the Halloween weekend, Director Patel said.

“This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” Patel wrote in a statement on X.

They not getting paid but they're still doing their jobs.

Federal agents took five people from Dearborn and Inkster, Michigan, into custody for an alleged plot to conduct an attack in the U.S. that has a connection to ISIS extremism, according to three senior law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation.

The so called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. This is known as Daesh, a transnational Salafi jihadist militant organisation and an unrecognised quasi-state. They are called terrorists by the West. 

The five are naturalized citizens from a Middle Eastern country who had access to firearms and firearm training, two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation say.

Again, it is a right for all citizens to have firearms. But again if you're Black, Arab, Muslim or an immigrant, the far right often calls for restrictions or considers it terrorism.

Three senior law enforcement officials say that no specific targets have been identified so far in the course of the investigation, which remains ongoing. That means the evidence is flimsy and the feds are trying to stick something on the arrested individuals.

Free speech is not terrorism. 

What the allegations state that five gamer nerds were talking on some Twitch site and allegedly a Zionist turned the in.

The officials said the group had discussed carrying out some sort of terror attack around Halloween — or what they allegedly referred to as “pumpkin day.” The officials said that was why the FBI made the arrests Friday, even though it was not immediately clear if the suspects had decided on a set time to try to move forward with any attack.

Two separate senior law enforcement officials say the group in Michigan had been tracked leading up to the arrests.

It was not immediately clear what, if any, specific targets had been identified.

Two officials said investigators are looking into whether the group was self-radicalized.

The names of the five individuals have not yet been made public as the court documents appear to still be sealed.

Officials stressed there is no current threat to the public.

Laraib Irfan said he lives two doors away from a home where loud bangs preceded the entrance of FBI agents on Friday.

"It was like a whole movie scene, but, you know, in reality it was scary," Irfan said.

He said he watched people he knew as "friendly neighbors, good neighbors" be removed from the residence. "They were just told to step outside of the home, and, you know, they had them in handcuffs," Irfan said.

It all had him wondering what they're accused of and whether law enforcement got it right, Irfan said.

"They're very friendly to us, very cool," he said. "Hopefully the FBI got the wrong house."

In a statement Friday afternoon, Patel said his agents' actions may have prevented a tragedy.

“Through swift action and close coordination with our local partners, a potential act of terror was stopped before it could unfold," he said. "The vigilance of this FBI prevented what could have been a tragic attack — and thanks to their dedication, Michigan will have a safe and happy Halloween.”

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said in a post on X that Patel briefed her “on the thwarted potential terrorist attack in our state" Friday morning. "As details continue to develop, I am grateful for the swift action of the FBI and MSP protecting Michiganders," she wrote.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said state authorities were "in consultation with the FBI" on the arrests.

Dearborn police confirmed in a Facebook post that the FBI carried out an operation there on Friday morning.

“The Dearborn Police Department has been made aware that the FBI conducted operations in the City of Dearborn earlier this morning,” police said, before adding that there was no threat to the public.

The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Why No One Talking About Nancy Mace? Y'all Still Obsessing Over Katie Porter!

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) yelled at police and called them “fucking incompetent” during a meltdown at the Charleston International Airport on Thursday, according to a police report first obtained by Wired.

Mace was apparently upset after officers with the Charleston County Aviation Authority Police Department arrived late to a meetup spot at the airport to escort the congresswoman.

That’s when the expletives began to fly, according to the report.

After officers located Mace, she began “loudly cursing and making derogatory comments to us about the department,” the report, obtained by Wired, said. “She repeatedly stated we were ‘Fucking incompetent,’ and ‘this is no way to treat a fucking U.S. Representative.’”

The report adds that a Transportation Security Administration supervisor also had problems with Mace, telling officers that the congresswoman treated their staff poorly.

“The entire walk to gate B-8 she was cursing and complaining and often doing the same into her phone,” an officer said in the report. Another officer noted that after “several minutes with her continuing her tirade, she finally boarded the aircraft.”

Mace and Riley Gaines have the MAGA makeover.

After Mace departed, a gate agent for American Airlines told officers that “he was in disbelief regarding her behavior,” according to the report. “He implied that a US Representative should not be acting the way she was.”

In a statement to Wired and The Washington Post, Mace’s director of operations, Cameron Morabito, said they are forced to take Mace’s “safety extremely seriously” following the killing of right-wing commentator Charlie Kirk.

“Apparently, simply arriving at an airport now makes for a worthy headline,” the statement said. “We are forced to take the Congresswoman’s safety extremely seriously. After the world watched Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the threats against her have only intensified. Our security procedures are based solely on legitimate safety concerns, and any attempt to politicize this reality is both dangerous and reckless.”

Former California representative Katie Porter is now running for California governor. The Politico had wrote a hit piece about her temper. She went off a former staffer when she was conducting an interview. Her latest outburst involved a loaded question about President Donald J. Trump and his supporters. 

Porter admits she has a temper but it shouldn't be a disqualification. In fact, the temperament issue should be ignored. Trump is the emboldenment of incompetence and lack of temperament. He can't go one day without throwing out insults, angry rants and disrespectful behavior towards Americans.

Porter cusses at a staffer who interrupted an interview. The far right and centrist agitators say its a wrap for her.

Yet, we have a convicted felon, twice impeached, sedition inspired, sexual predator president named Donald J. Trump.

Where he insults people, cusses at people on camera, complains, lies and deceives voters.

He literally bragged about women and said if you're rich and famous, you can "grab 'em by..."

And y'all mad at Porter....

Spare me the motherfucking outrage.

Porter admits she has a temper. She had therapy after her marriage to Matthew Hoffman.

She is known to be abusive towards staffers. Same with Mace who is running for governor of South Carolina. Mace had the audacity to mention Porter.

This is the same woman (Mace) who had a nervous breakdown after hearing Jeffrey Epstein victims. The same woman who wants Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) deported for backing Palestinians. The same Mace who wants Omar stripped of her citizenship because she doesn't have too much sympathy for that white nationalist. The same Mace who accused her former fiancé, two neighbors and her ex-husbands of abuse. 

Don't get me started on the allegations of alcoholism and cocaine use. We seen the video of Mace baby birding vodka into another woman's mouth.

When I've said the Democrats are weak, this is an example of it. The Democrats will distance themselves from this and allow the far right, who by default will drive her negatives up to weaken her if she becomes the nominee. 

Democrats will leave her to the sharks.

So Katie Porter, Graham Platner, Omar Fetah, Zohran Mamdani, Cori Bush, Kat Abughazaleh, Abdul El-Sayed and yes Kamala Harris, ignore the noise. 

If anyone who is supporting a Kamala Harris 2028 bid is reading this, let me be clear about her chances of running to be the nominee: Slightly favored. 

She must listen to progressives, stop supporting Israel, acknowledge mistakes, criticize former president Joe Biden, Kyrsten Sinema, Joe Manchin, John Fetterman and the establishment. Stop reaching across the aisle. Be a progressive who stands on principles. 

No more waiting on change.

Nicki Minaj is emerging as a prominent supporter of President Donald J. Trump.

Minaj (Onika Petty) is a rapper, producer, actress, model, media personality and business mogul.
Christianity is declining worldwide.

The 42 year old (43 in December) rapper screenshots a misleading post from the president. She posts it on her X account.

It claims that Christians in a African Union country are being targeted. That is patently false. Nigeria with a population of 245 million people has a large swath of religions.

Trump has labeled Nigeria a state of concern. 

The Nigerian government which is kicking out Western back corporations is under the far right's radar. It has a huge issue with Western-back capitalism. Nigeria is devoted to taking soverignty of its resources.

Nigeria has long rejected suggestions by some U.S. evangelical Christian groups and politicians that killings of Christians are a deliberate campaign of extermination rather than being part of ongoing violence by resistance fighters and bandits who also routinely kill Muslims in the West African nation.

A worsening relationship between the United States and Nigeria, which could now face potential sanctions, could have implications for the U.S. position more generally in Africa, where China’s diplomatic weight has been growing.

Nigeria, whose population is about evenly split between Christians and Muslims, has been beset by decades of violence whose roots lie not only in religion, but in ethnic division, criminality, local politics, poverty and battles over land between farmers and herders that have been exacerbated by shifts in the climate.

 Then president Muhammadu Buhari with Trump in 2018.

Trump has opened the door for sanctions to be imposed on Nigeria for allegedly failing to rein in the persecution of Christians in the West African country.

Trump announced Friday that he would designate Nigeria “a country of particular concern” as it relates to religious freedom, a move that had been pushed by some U.S. lawmakers.

The designation does not necessarily mean that sanctions, which could include a ban on all non-humanitarian aid, will be imposed, but it is one step ahead of that.

“Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria,” Trump said in a social media post. “Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a ‘COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN.’”

The Nigerian government vehemently rejects the claims, and analysts say that while Christians are among those targeted, the majority of victims of armed groups are Muslims in Nigeria’s Muslim-majority north, where most attacks occur.

Trump said he would be asking several U.S. lawmakers to look into the matter and report back on what the response to the designation should be.

“The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria, and numerous other Countries. We stand ready, willing, and able to save our Great Christian population around the World!” Trump said.

Designating a “country of particular concern” under the 1998 International Religious Freedom Act is an executive prerogative that normally follows recommendations from both the congressionally mandated U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom and the State Department.

The State Department usually releases its annual Report on International Religious Freedom in the spring, but has not yet done so this year. The report may or may not include “particular concern” designations, which can be done at any time. And, such designations, which authorize U.S. penalties, do not necessarily impose sanctions.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took over in August 2025 after Muhammadu Buhari passed away. 

The State Department’s most recent religious freedom reports cover 2023 and were released last year under the Biden administration. These reports, like others on broader human rights and human trafficking, cover the previous calendar year and are often late in being submitted.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has been trying to rally fellow evangelical Christians to urge Congress to designate Nigeria as a violator of religious freedom with claims of “Christian mass murder.”

He called Trump’s action “a critical step in holding accountable and changing the behavior of Nigerian officials.” Cruz said his legislation would take it further, including targeting those who implement blasphemy and sharia laws in Nigeria.

“I am committed to working with the administration and my colleagues to advance my bill and implement these necessary measures,” Cruz said in his statement.

Nigeria was first placed on the “country of particular concern” list by the U.S. in 2020 in what the State Department called “systematic violations of religious freedom.” But, the designation did not single out attacks on Christians. The designation was lifted in 2023 in what many saw as a way to improve ties between the countries ahead of a visit by then-Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
